Obama does Syriana

It took Reuters quite a while to be allowed to report that Obama had approved an intelligence finding letting the CIA loose in its support for the weaponized “rebels” fighting for regime change in Syria. By now even fishermen in Fiji knew about this “secret” (not to mention that everyone and his neighbor across Latin America knows a thing or two about the CIA’s regime change adventures). Reuters cautiously describes the support as “circumscribed”. That’s code for “leading from behind”. Whenever the CIA wants to leak something it uses a faithful scribe, such as David Ignatius from the WaPo. Already on Jul 18 Ignatius was reproducing his briefing, according to which:
The CIA has been working with the Syrian opposition for several weeks under a non-lethal directive. Scores of Israeli intelligence officers are also operating along Syria’s border, though they are keeping a low profile.

How lovely. How low profile do you get along Syria’s borders? An Instagram surrounded by a bunch of grinning truck drivers? As for the Mossad’s “low profile”, the spin in Tel Aviv is that Israel is able to “control” the swarm of hardcore Wahhabis and Salafi-jihadis now infesting Syria. Even if that is manifest nonsense, one juicy point is clear; Israel is in bed with al-Qaeda-style Islamists. What this means is that the Not Exactly Free Syrian Army (FSA), crammed with Muslim Brotherhood diehards and infiltrated by Salafi-jihadis, is following the agenda not only of their financiers and weaponizers, the House of Saud and Qatar, but also Tel Aviv, alongside Washington and its trademark poodles London and Paris. So this is not just a proxy war, it’s a multiple, concentric proxy war. Tel Aviv’s agenda is clear; a weakened Syrian government, an overextended army in disarray, sectarian hatred all around and a relentless slouching towards balkanization. The ultimate goal; not only the Lebanonization, but the Somalization of Syria and environs. Turkey’s agenda remains incredibly murky, apart from the wishful thinking of post-Assad Syria becoming a mild, civilized version of the AKP reign in Ankara (it won’t happen).

As reported for months now, NATO until a while ago was running a command and control center in Iskenderun, in Hathay province. Recently, the news was finally leaked to Reuters of a joint Turkey-Qatar-Saudi Arabia “secret” base in Adana, 100 km from the Syrian border. Adana happens to be the home of Incirlik, the immense NATO base. Local sources have been reporting frantic cargo movements at Incirlik for weeks. It was Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Abdulaziz bin Abdullah al-Saud who requested, in person, for the base to be set up, to Ankara’s delight. Ankara-Riyadh-Doha; talk about a triangle of death. Yet the spin from Qatar is once again of the “leading from behind” variety. Turkey is doing the military heavy lifting; the CIA is “hands off”; and Qatar is just taking pictures like an innocent tourist (while directing operations via its military intelligence). The heavy-duty guys are all unspecified “middlemen”. Obama has not authorized a drone war yet, and the CIA may not be weaponizing the “rebels”; that’s the “triangle of death’s” business.

An inflation of Russian RPGs bought in the black market has been responsible for recent “rebel” surges in Damascus and Aleppo. Now an inflation of shoulder-fired anti-tank missiles and surface-to-air missiles is to be expected; NBC News has already reported about a “gift” of nearly two dozen surface-to-air missiles to the FSA, delivered via, where else, Turkey. Qatar and Saudi Arabia are taking no prisoners. No one in Washington seems to be looking back to post-jihad Afghanistan before making a decision. By the way, this is the 1980s Afghan jihad all over again, with Saudi Arabia and Qatar playing the role of Pakistan, the FSA as the glorious mujahideen “freedom fighters”, and Obama as Reagan. The only element missing is Obama approving a “memorandum of notification” to his initial intelligence finding, authorizing Washington to weaponize the freedom fighters and introducing a swarm of drones. Now that’s the recipe for a certified 2013 Hollywood blockbuster.

Riyadh, for its part, is forcing Jordan’s King Playstation to install a buffer zone in his territory for the over 100 gangs that comprise the FSA, as revealed by the Saudi-financed al-Quds al-Arabi. And guess who was the henchman forcing the deal? No less than vanishing Saudi intel chief Prince Bandar, who may or may not have been killed in a bomb attack two weeks ago (see below). It’s worth repeating till the Grim Reaper comes to collect; spectacular blowback looms large. The prolonged siege of Aleppo is at hand. The NATO-GCC “secret base” in Turkey, plus free-for-all weaponizing, are empowering an extremely nasty mix of unemployed, semi-illiterate young Sunni Syrians, sectarian born to kill army defectors, assorted criminals and multinational Salafi-jihadis. This video shows everything one needs to know about the FSA:

And this shows what kind of “democracy” they are aiming for. Saudi Wahhabis want a hardcore Sunni Islamist Syria, complete with Christians, Alawis, Druzes and Kurds as third-rate citizens (or prime candidates for beheading). Qataris want a Muslim Brotherhood protectorate. The Obama administration’s foreign policy makers must be on lousy crack. Just because they are engaged on an all-out war against not only Iran, but also Shi’ites all around, how could they possibly bet on a Somalization of Syria profiting Wahhabi intolerance? A grinning Grim Reaper awaits in the wings.

Major Media Admit Presence of Foreign Militants in Syria

by Stephen Lendman

My PhotoSyria’s conflict isn’t an uprising, revolution or civil war. It’s lawless Western aggression. It targets an independent government and its people. Doing so violates fundamental international law.

Washington planned it years ago. It wants puppet leaders installed. It’s Afghanistan/Iraq/Libya 2.0. America destroys nations to control and plunder them.

War on humanity is waged for unchallenged global dominance. Syria is ground zero. Other targeted states come later.

Proxy death squads are used. They’re heavily armed, trained and directed.

They reign terror on Syrian civilians. They’ve murdered thousands of noncombatant men, women and children.

At issue is ravaging and intimidating Syria to submission. Foreign militants show no mercy. Their presence has been well known all along. Media scoundrels now admit it. At the same time, their framing deceives more than explains.

On July 29, The New York Times headlined “As Syrian War Drags On, Jihadists Take Bigger Role,” saying:

“….Syrians involved in the armed struggle say it is becoming more radicalized: homegrown Muslim jihadists, as well as small groups of fighters from Al Qaeda, are taking a more prominent role and demanding a say in running the resistance.”

Fact check

Militants are largely imported, not homegrown. Many are Al Qaeda affiliated. They’re brought in from regional countries. Most Syrian regime opponents deplore violence. They want reforms, not war.
The Times said more recently “larger, more organized and better armed Syrian militant(s push) an agenda based on jihad.”

At the same time, it claimed “no significant presence of foreign combatants of any stripe in Syria….” It cited an unnamed “activist” saying around 1,000 of 50,000 fighters involved are foreigners. It added that many of them aren’t “jihadists.”

It tiptoed toward admitting that what Assad said all long is true. It suggested that “Salafist groups” and other Islamic radicals “now receive most foreign financing.”

It stopped short of explaining that Syria was lawlessly invaded. It’s waging defensive liberating battles. International law legitimizes them. No nation would stand aside and let foreign invaders ravage and control their country.

On July 26, Time magazine headlined “TIME Exclusive: Meet the Islamist Militants Fighting Alongside Syria’s Rebels,” saying:

Al Qaeda’s flag is prominently displayed. “At this stage, they remain a minor player in the conflict. (T)heir role may grow exponentially.”

In May, Time asked “Is al-Qaeda Intervening in the Conflict?” saying:
“It’s hardly a revelation (to imagine) criminal and extremist elements looking to profit from the disintegration of order. Instability….is a petri dish for radicals.”

US strategy depends on violence and instability. Peace and calm defeat Washington’s agenda. Time magazine, The New York Times, and other media scoundrels suppress information readers most need to know. Instead they’re fed managed news misinformation garbage.

Other major media also admitted the presence of foreign militants in Syria. They include AFP, Der Spiegel, London Telegraph, UK Sunday Times, South Africa’s News 24, and various lesser known publications.

BBC says they’re involved but play a minor role. BBC runs cover for imperial Britain. It has to. It’s state operated, funded and controlled. It produces propaganda. Real news, information and analysis are verboten.

Qatar’s Al Jazeera operates the same way. They and other media scoundrels mock legitimate journalism.
On July 30, Voice of Russia (VOR) headlined “Jihadists with ‘British accents’ fighting Syria’s Assad,” saying:

“Dutch journalist Jeroen Oerlemans and UK photographer John Cantlie were attacked by anti-Assad troops when crossing the Syrian border from Turkey last week.”

Their captors weren’t Syrians. They came from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Chechnya, and elsewhere. Many of them spoke English. Some did “with recognizable” British accents.
Russia Today reported the same story. It said what happened shows that “Syria has become a magnet for radical Islamists, who are there either as mercenaries or because of ideology.”
Hard core extremists among them want regional countries transformed into Islamic caliphates. Syria is the region’s only independent secular state.
Its people alone should decide how they’ll be governed. Free, fair and open elections are now held. Independent candidates and parties opposing Assad participate.
In contrast, despots run regional monarchies like Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, other Gulf states, Jordan, and Morocco. Washington extends support. They’re valued imperial allies.
So is Israel. Like America, its democracy mocks the real thing. Both countries deplore it. They don’t tolerate it at home or abroad. They wage wars to prevent it. They want unchallenged hegemonic control.
They’re involved in Syria’s conflict. Aleppo currently is ground zero. On July 29, SANA state media headlined “Armed Forces Clear Neighborhoods in Aleppo and Damascus Countryside from Terrorist Groups,” saying:
Syrian forces “cleared Saladin neighborhood in Aleppo city from armed terrorist group.”
“An official source told SANA that the armed forces inflicted very heavy losses on the terrorists, some of them non-Syrians of Arab and foreign nationalities, adding that fleeing terrorists are being pursued and that their hideouts are being raided, with the terrorists being arrested or eliminated.”
Insurgents take refugee in civilian neighborhoods. They use human shields for protection. Doing so slows efforts to eliminate them. Nonetheless, they’re being routed. Order is being restored to Damascus. Pockets of resistance continue.
Expect Aleppo to be liberated. Syrian forces are prevailing. They’re cleansing terrorist held areas. US officials express frustration. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta equates defeating them with Assad losing “all legitimacy.”
Saying so makes him look more buffoon-like than in charge of US imperial wars. An unidentified Syrian military officer told Reuters late Sunday that (i)n a few days safety and security will return to….Aleppo.”
Saladin and Hamdaniya neighborhoods were freed. Security forces routed terrorists trying to enter Syria from Turkey.
Reuters quoted Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Moualem saying “(t)oday I tell you, Syria is stronger….In less than a week (terrorists) were defeated” in Damascus. “So they moved on to Aleppo, and I assure you their plots will fail.”
Voltaire Network’s Thierry Meyssan asked “Who is fighting in Syria?”
Armed groups modeled on the Contras are used. They don’t “defend democracy, they fight against it.”
“The FSA (Free Syrian Army) program is to end the secular regime installed by the Baath, the SSNP (Syrian Social Nationalist Party) and the Communist Party in favor of a pure religious Sunni regime.”
Washington’s rhetorical support for “democratic transition” is sham cover for long-planned imperial control.
Foreign mercenaries are used. They’re involved for love, money, ideology, or a combination of two or more. They’re “thugs and habitual criminals.”
They’re “lured by easy money.” They’re paid “seven times the average wage.” Other fighters “fought in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Chechnya,” Iraq and Libya.
They’re more mercenary than jihadist. They include Al Qaeda affiliated elements. Many are based in Turkey. They’re fighting “under the label of Free Syrian Army.” They’re NATO “auxiliaries.” They’re headquartered on its Incirlik, Turkey base.
“Hard core Islamists formed their own organizations or joined Al Qaeda.” Qatar or Saudi Arabia control them. They’re “de facto” CIA assets.
In Nicaragua, Contras were CIA-connected. Syrian militants have a similar relationship.
“In May 2012, Miami Cuban Contras organized counter-revolutionary guerrilla war training seminars for their Syrian counterparts.” Tactics used earlier are employed now.
They include targeting Assad loyalists, murdering civilians, economic sabotage, “derailing passenger trains, car bombs at popular sites, and killing religious, political and military leaders.”
The great majority of Syrians oppose them. The longer conflict persists, the greater Assad’s support grows. People need state security forces for protection. Without them they’re defenseless.
Syria’s army is a conscript people’s force. They’re not used for political repression. Assad also authorized neighborhood militias. They’re armed for self-defense. Syria’s military supervises them.
Washington’s war on Syria isn’t about liberation, instituting democracy, and concern for human rights. It’s to establish another regional puppet regime. It’s for imperial dominance.

It’s willing to destroy nations and slaughter their people to control them. Then on to more targets.
Washington threatens humanity. Stopping its carnage matters most.

Syria Has No Enemies

by Barb Weir
Friday, August 3rd, 2012

I know you may find this hard to believe, but no matter how much you look, you will not find enemies of Syria. On 1 April, 2012, for example, the Friends of Syria held a conference in Istanbul, and you know how many countries were represented? Seventy! Of course, Syria was not one of the represented countries, and some skeptics may say that the date of the conference and the whoopee cushions on the delegates’ seats was suspicious. It is nevertheless astonishing to see how widely Syria is loved by persons for whom 1 April holds special significance.
The objective of the conference was to determine how best to assure Syrian democracy, human rights and independence, which is why the humanitarian democratic monarchies of Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar and Saudi Arabia were all represented, along with the anti-imperialist regimes of the U.S., Turkey, Britain and France. Conspicuously absent were Russia, China, Iran, Venezuela and Cuba. However, this reporter received assurances from the highest levels of these governments that they were not only friends but allies.

You would also be astonished at the nongovernmental organizations that are friends of Syria. As I reported on 10 July, al-Qaeda has re-joined hands with its erstwhile allies, the U.S., to help Syria.

Similarly, I reported on 27 July that the U.S. Treasury has awarded a license to the nonprofit Syrian Support Group to provide a variety of services that would otherwise have been prohibited to Syria. In addition, the U.S.-supported Syrian Observatory has been supplying astronomical data for the large number of Syrian citizens that are making the journey to the heavens, with the assistance of the Friends of Syria and the Syrian government alike.
Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman
Of course, Syria’s oldest and most intractable enemy has been Israel, which was not present at the 1 April conference and which has remained relatively silent. However, I was astonished at the warm feelings expressed by none other than Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman.

“Of course we love Syria,” he said. “Why do you think we insisted on having a piece of it for ourselves? We count ourselves among the Friends of Syria, and let me assure you that we all have the same interests at heart.”

Syrian Armed Opposition Operating… from Lebanon!

What’s really happening at the Lebanese-Syrian borders? Is it accurate to speak of Syrian “violations” of the Lebanese sovereignty? What about the “provocations” taking place from the Lebanese side?
Such questions were raised during the last few days in light of the “protest memos” that were exchanged between the Lebanese and Syrian authorities, and also in light of the daily “shootings” taking place at the area.
Between Violations and Provocations..
At first glance, one cannot ignore the dangers of the borders’ incidents and their potential repercussions at all levels. Indeed, the shooting and firing incidents are occurring on daily basis, signaling that some plot is being prepared to push Lebanon into a “non-innocent” conflict with its neighbor, Syria.
Also at first glance, daily reports of Syrian ammunitions and rockets falling within the Lebanese territories seem to be suspicious. Some press reports even go on to speak of Lebanese territories being subject to some Syrian “bombardment”. Such reports seek to portray the Syrian military operations at the border area as violations to the Lebanese sovereignty, and therefore to all the agreements reached between Lebanon and Syria, throughout history.
However, speaking of Syrian violations to the Lebanese territories is not accurate. “This is not even half of the truth,” a well-informed political source told moqawama.org. “Taking a verdict needs to examine the whole truth and perceive what’s really happening at the border side,” the source said, as it found strange the “accusations” launched here and there, without any proof. “The whole truth is not limited, here, to the fact that any Syrian operation at the border area is nothing but a response to provocations…”
SMUGGLING CONTINUES…
The political source makes it clear: defending the border against potential aggressions cannot be a violation. To explain, it recalls of “documented” arguments, including a recently-issued report by the United Nations’ Lebanon Independent Border Assessment Team (LIBAT), which stated that the border between Syria and Lebanon is highly porous, and that there is no mechanism capable of preventing the smuggling of weapons and other materials. The source noticed that the nature of the borders makes smuggling something very familiar. It highlighted that Lebanese authorities recently arrested Syrian men accused of smuggling arms into Syria from Lebanon. A few weeks earlier, authorities in the border discovered trucks smuggling a cache of weapons into Syria. It is believed these weapons were destined for the so-called Free Syrian Army seeking to fight against the Syrian army.
This is not everything. The source also points to the accusations made by Syrian envoy to the United Nations Bashar al-Jaafari for some Lebanese parties of funding and arming militants. “Some political sides in Lebanon, not the Lebanese state, are funding, arming and giving the terrorist groups shelters on the Lebanese territories,” al-Jaafari told UN Security Council debate on the Middle East. These sides “are inciting those militants to hold terrorist acts in order to escalate clashes and to spur further bloodshed,” the Syrian envoy added.
“The Syrian envoy’s accusations do not come from void,” the political source told moqawama.org. “Of course, they are neither a conspiracy against these Lebanese sides nor a media campaign seeking to justify the so-called violations,” the source stressed, as it recalled of the “famous” letter previously submitted by Jaafari to the international organizations, with documented facts. While noting that, as expected, the letter was not even discussed, the source emphasized that the memo submitted by Syrian Ambassador Ali Abdul Karim Ali to the Lebanese authorities serves the same goals.
Syrian Activists Operating in Lebanon
That’s it. Speaking of Syrian violations is only half of the truth. Perhaps, speaking of Lebanese violations is also half of the truth. However, when some facts, revealing some “dangerous involvement” is released, the whole story becomes clearer.
These facts point that the presence of Syrian opposition activists in Lebanon has spread, and among them fighters who are active at the border area. These facts are not rumors, they are documented and stated in official security reports.

At first, they largely confined themselves to the border districts of Wadi Khaled, Ersal and al-Qaa. They had to maintain a low profile, and took precautions to keep their actions discreet, while being watched by Lebanese army intelligence. Subsequently, the Syrian rebels’ presence began spreading to other parts of Lebanon, as the fighting in Syria intensified and most of the border villages on the Syrian side came under opposition control. They were provided with an unprecedented political embrace in the north, giving them access to the regional capital Tripoli.
In a report published this week, Lebanese daily Al-Akhbar spoke of some Lebanese involvement in the “activities” of the Syrian rebels. According to the daily, they have received some support from a Future movement official, identified as A.H. Sources noted that the rebels were preparing Salafi groups to enter Syria and execute operations.
The sources, quoted by the daily, also revealed a role played by the area’s “lawmakers”, who are actually providing the rebels with the political “cover”. Even more, a meeting was held a few days ago at one lawmaker’s residence, and joined two MPs alongside a military official, close to the Future party, as well as a prominent figure in the armed so-called Syrian opposition. One of the lawmakers is personally overseeing the rebels’ needs and preparations for an attack against the Syrian borders’ crossings.
Lebanese Involvement Proved..
The daily, which noted that the two involved lawmakers are optimistic the Syrian regime would fall soon, perhaps before the end of the holy month of Ramadan, noted that the security forces have all data about the rebels’ activities and movements. Yet, they are unable to take any action.
Some political sides in Lebanon, not the Lebanese state, are funding, arming and giving the terrorist groups shelters on the Lebanese territories
In the same context, other reports noted that a prominent Syrian opposition leader of the extreme persuasion was seen repeatedly travelling in a car
bearing a Lebanese MP’s number plate, accompanied by a vehicle full of armed men. Commanders of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) are also known to travel under the protection of Lebanese political figures. The message that got through was that most Syrian opposition activists know that their arrest is prohibited in the Land of the Cedars. Nevertheless, says one of them, they still take precautions when doing some things, especially transporting weapons.
In conclusion, it seems just unfair to speak of violations or even provocations at the Lebanese-Syrian border. What’s happening there is more dangerous. The Syrian armed opposition actually turned the border to a base from where it is planning a series of operations and attacks…

Syrian Army Clears Aleppo, Homs of Terrorists

Local Editor

Terrorist groups fighting against Syrian national army in SyriaSyrian troops have killed at least 40 insurgents in the restive city of Homs as military operations to secure the region continue. Many others were also injured in the operation in al-Hamidieh district of the city on Friday, Syrian Sham radio reported.
In the meantime, three reinforcement teams are being sent to Aleppo in order to eliminate the foreign-backed armed men and restore security to the city.
The Syrian security forces are still chasing insurgents in the outskirts of the capital, Damascus while there are clashes between insurgents and the Syrian army in these areas.
In another development on Thursday, Palestinian refugee camp of Yarmouk came under mortar fire from the insurgents in Damascus.
The attack occurred on the same day as UN-Arab League envoy to Syria Kofi Annan announced that he decided to quit his mission.
Meanwhile, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov warned on Friday that Annan’s resignation paves the way for a military intervention in Syria.
On Friday, the UN General Assembly is set to vote on a draft resolution, backed by Arab countries, about Syria.
Russia said it would not support the resolution because it is unbalanced and encourages insurgents to keep fighting.

The role of CIA-pampered Saudi spymaster in Syria

Saudi spymaster prince Bandar bin Sultan and George W. Bush

Saudi spymaster prince Bandar bin Sultan and George W. Bush
Thu Aug 2, 2012 4:16PM GMT

By Ismail Salami

With the flourish of Arab Spring in North Africa and the Middle East, Saudi Arabia found quite a good excuse to foment unrest in Syria with the help of the al-Qaeda elements who were readily at its disposal, innocuously attribute it to another popular uprising in the region and pave the ground for a regime change in Syria. Bandar bin Sultan, who is the secret architect of this crisis, reappeared in his new capacity as the Saudi superspy to accomplish this long-entertained plot. In this unholy cause they started championing, they saw fit to factor in other intelligence agencies such as Mossad and CIA in order to make sure their modus operandi would raise no suspicious whatsoever.
An enigmatic personality who has periodically vanished from the scene of politics in different junctures in time, Prince Bandar bin Sultan was appointed as the Director General of Saudi Arabia’s main intelligence agency on July 19, an appointment which took place at a critical time, namely when the unrest in Syria was growing gravely worrisome thanks to the influx of the Saudi-funded rebels infiltrating the Syrian soil.

Known as ‘Bandar Bush’ on account of his close ties with former US President George Bush, the prince-cum-spymaster is widely considered as a linchpin in CIA-Mossad dastardly subterfuges in Syria and Iran and his appointment to such a sensitive position is from an intelligence point of view regarded a strategic step to contribute to the materialization of these sinister plans.

On July 18, a blast rocked the headquarters of the National Security Bureau (NSB) in Damascus and killed President Bashar Assad’s brother-in-law and Deputy Defense Minister Gen Assef Shawkat, Defense Minister Gen Daoud Rajiha, former Defense Minister Hassan Turkomani and NSB chief Hisham Ikhtiar.

The role of CIA and Mossad in Syria unrest is highlighted in an article dated July 18 by David Ignatius who is well-connected to intelligence sources, “The CIA has been working with the Syrian opposition for several weeks under a non-lethal directive that allows the United States to evaluate groups and assist them with command and control. Scores of Israeli intelligence officers are also operating along Syria’s border, though they are keeping a low profile.”

In view of the complicated nature of the terrorist attack, one cannot easily rule out the possibility of the CIA-Mossad joint operations.

A Wikileaks cable dated May 2, 2007 details how Mossad is contributing covert assistance to Saudi intelligence.

“MOSSAD is using Nicosia, Cyprus as a primary transit hub into Riyadh, to assist the Saudi intelligence services with intelligence collection and advice on Iran. Sources advised the Saudis are playing both sides of the fence — with the jihadists and the Israelis — for fear that the US does not have a handle on either. Several enterprising MOSSAD officers, both past and present, are making a bundle selling the Saudis everything from security equipment, intelligence and consultation.”

As a main game player in Syria crisis, the regime of Riyadh is reportedly exerting pressure on Jordan to create a buffer zone for the armed gangs and groups fighting to overthrow the anti-Israeli government of President Bashar Assad. According to a report in the al-Quds al-Arabi Daily, the Saudi monarchy is persuading Amman to join the anti-Syria war by cutting off its financial aid to the country. The Saudi spymaster Bandar Bin Sultan is tasked with forcing Jordanian kingdom to agree to host the Free Syrian Army on its soil in return for the aid. In line with this development, Bandar bin Sultan has secretly met with top Jordanian security and military officials along with Saudi Crown Prince Salman Abdul Aziz over the issue.

Saudi Arabia has long been working on a plan to overthrow the regime in Syria and sabotage the Islamic Republic through Bandar bin Sultan who served as the Saudi ambassador to the US from 1983 to 2005. In 2006, Bandar visited Washington a couple of times and discussed the Bush administration’s plan for a new strategy in the Middle East with former Vice president Dick Cheney and Bush’s Deputy National Security Advisor for Global Democracy Strategy Elliott Abrams.

The two neocons together with the prince had wrought out a fiendishly meticulous plan to bring about changes to the satisfaction of the US government and the Saudi kingdom. Part of their grand scheme was to bring about regime changes in Syria and Iran and impose a rotten American version of democracy in the two countries. For his part, Bandar had given them assurances that the Saudi monarchy would wholeheartedly favor this plot. To this end, the Saudi Kingdom has since then spent a deluge of dollars on carrying out covert operations in Iran and Syria with the assistance of CIA (See The King’s Messenger: Prince Bandar bin Sultan and America’s Tangled Relationship With Saudi Arabia by David B. Ottaway and David B Ottaway p. 257).

In this unholy cause they started championing, they saw fit to factor in other intelligence agencies such as Mossad and CIA in order to make sure their modus operandi would raise no suspicions whatsoever.

As time passes and the situation in Syria unravels, the satanic role of Prince Bandar bin Sultan in stoking up chaos in the crisis-ravaged country under the aegis of the Saudi monarchy becomes more crystallized and the thickening plot to overthrow the Syrian regime under the banner of a popular uprising starts to surface.

MB and SCAF: A Trial Truce and Trade of Powers

Men perform evening prayers during the holy month of Ramadan at a mosque in Cairo, 1 August 2012. (Photo: Reuters – Asmaa Waguih)
Published Thursday, August 2, 2012
It appears that the Muslim Brotherhood and the military brass are trying to bury their differences. Some observers believe that a deal has been reached to satisfy all the parties involved.
Cairo – Egyptians were surprised when state television carried simultaneous live broadcasts of the Friday prayers from two mosques for the first time in its history.

One feed showed President Mohamed Mursi in al-Fayyoum, considered to be one of the Muslim Brotherhood’s strongholds south of Cairo.

The other showed the head of the military council, Field Marshall Hussein Tantawi, at the al-Rushdan mosque in Cairo.

“The screen was split in half,” wrote Hani Salah al-Din, writer and member of the Muslim Brotherhood in an article entitled: “Half for the President and Half for the Field Marshall,” published on al-Yawm al-Sabi website, criticizing state television, which he believes is still loyal to the ousted Hosni Mubarak regime.

This scene seemed to capture the relationship between the Muslim Brotherhood and the Supreme Council for the Armed Forces (SCAF), which continues to have legislative authority.
It came after al-Shorouk newspaper’s revelation of “a truce between SCAF, the Brotherhood, and the presidency, agreeing to carry on with the constitutional committee’s work.”

It seems that the three sides have reached an agreement to continue the work of the constitutional committee without interference from the military council.

The agreement also seems to include a transitional clause by the representatives of the Brotherhood allowing Mursi to complete his term in office in case the system of governance and the authority of the president change in the new constitution.

In return, SCAF received promises from the Brotherhood – who enjoy a majority on the committee – to pass the clauses dealing with the armed forces, which are to be put forward by the military’s representative on the committee.

The newspaper also spoke of other promises to preserve what was termed the “civilian state,” keeping Tantawi as minister of defense and commander of the armed forces. This was resolved yesterday.

The general secretary of the constitutional committee, and member of the executive committee of the Freedom and Justice party, Amr Darraj, confirmed to Al-Akhbar that the committee was indeed moving towards the adoption of transitional clauses concerning a number of state institutions.

He said that the some clauses are related to the presidency and stipulated that Mursi would not have to resign should the system of government change in the new constitution.

“As for the clauses concerning the armed forces, it is still too early to speak about them. However, it seems that they will need to be clearer than they were in the 1971 constitution,” he said.

“The reality is that the president at the time (Anwar Sadat) was a military man, as was the case after the 1952 revolution. This meant that many of the affairs of the armed forces used to be carried out smoothly, without the need to be defined by the constitution, but things are different now,” he added.

This revelation by al-Shorouk newspaper came only two days after a decision by the state council to postpone the verdict on dissolving the constitutional committee until September 24.

Essentially, this means that the committee has been given the chance to complete the new draft constitution.

This prompted the deputy head of the state council, Ahmad Wajdi, to describe the court’s decision as “having been arrived at against the background of a deal between the military council and the Muslim Brotherhood.”

Wajdi explained to Al-Akhbar that “there is no legal incentive or excuse for postponing the verdict, particularly when the Brotherhood have not given any convincing evidence to justify their request to exclude Judge Abdul-Salam al-Najjar.”

“The court should have passed its verdict, rejected the Brotherhood’s request, and sent the case for dissolving the constitutional committee back to Najjar,” he added.

This point of view is perhaps reinforced by the resentment expressed by the National Front for Protecting the Revolution over president Mursi’s avoidance of a meeting with its chief co-ordinator, Seif Abdul-Fattah.

Mursi did eventually meet Abdul-Fattah to discuss how to implement clauses of the agreement the president had promised to carry through before he won the elections.

A leading member of the Muslim Brotherhood, Gamal Hishmat, denied the existence of such a deal. He described the court’s decision as “simply pertaining to legal procedures which need sufficient time to be completed before a decision is made.”

Kamal al-Halabawi, formerly of the Brotherhood, insisted that he did not believe that there had been any conflict with the the military council in the first place.

He pointed out that despite the imprisonment, attacks, and torture the Brotherhood suffered before the revolution, they are not seeking revenge.

CANAANIZATION = the extermination , by divine decree ,of the other who does not surrender fully to you

The Brittish Israelization of the World.

The first Israel is not the country that was founded in the beginning of the 20th century by the Jewish Zionists , the real great Israel was founded in the 16th century, when the White Anglo Saxon settlers set foot in Plymouth, in what they called :”the Canaanite land’ . These same settlers who landed on the shore of what will be later known as North America ,called this land on which they set foot : “Israel of God”, and they started building on it their settlements while considering themselves God ‘s chosen people whom God has favored among other nations and given them the right to usurp other people’s land after submitting its original population .

This is not a legend, but the true story of the Israeli state and the real historical origins to this gender of states that go back to the foundation of the United States of America and Canada by the European invaders. The European invaders stole the land from its real owners and expelled the Native Indian inhabitants who were living peacefully on their territories, cultivating the fields and celebrating their rituals on a land they inherited from their ancestors more than five thousands years ago. These original, peaceful, civilized nations had no idea of the dark future that was awaiting their coming generations after the landing of the pilgrims on their land to establish their sacred Israel and practice all kinds of violations like: killing, slaughtering, enslaving , massacring , abducting , exterminating physically and culturally , spreading diseases intentionally, spreading the use of alcohol and drugs , breaking treaties and agreements , separating families, kidnapping children, dismantling communities, ,sterilizing women , humiliating and chasing the Natives all over the country .

All these practices made the original inhabitants bereft of everything, deprived of their land, stripped of their language ,and their culture , denied their right to live. This is how Great Britain started its Israeli endeavor and vocation, replacing one people by another, and one culture by a different one ,as mentioned by Prof. Munir Akash in his book .

Great Britain had already mastered all these practices and violations through its occupation of Ireland and Wales and it proved even more skillful on the new continent where it outstood itself in exterminating and eradicating the original inhabitants. Of the 18 millions that populated USA only quarter of a million survived this treatment, this survival only lead those who remained to be confined to reservations where poverty , sickness drug use and chaos prevailed.

This is the process of canaanazation , as prof Munir Akash defines it, ie : the extermination , by divine decree ,of the other who does not surrender fully to you. This decree gives the settlers the right to dispose of the others’ property and even body and do as they please in order to satisfy their white God and build his kingdom on earth. The dagger plunged in the heart of our Arab nation that is called Israel, is but one link in the chain of horrible events that started in North America many centuries ago when more than a hundred nations and cultures became extinct thanks to the British colonialists, this eradication targeted the very root of their being, destroying their memory, depriving them of their language and imposing on them the worship of their white executioner and made them thus subject to self hatred and self denial…

As to the other links of the chain of horror, they were manufactured in Hollywood studios, and since the first experiment with Native Indians was so successful, it was impelling to repeat it on the real Canaanite land this time, between the people of Canaan themselves and God’s chosen people, the Jewish Zionists settlers who came in great numbers to occupy Palestine and build their settlements after slaughtering the Palestinians and expelling them from their land, all this in order to fulfill God’s promise to submit the Canaanites to the sons of Israel, This is how the second Israel was founded on Palestinian blood; as an artificial state, with an artificial language, and people from all over the world , with nothing in common but the greed and envy of others’ property.. The second crime has been committed for the second time, and the third is on the verge of being committed, while the fourth and fifth are still in the process, because there is no boundary to the colonialists’ greed who cannot survive nor exist except on other peoples’ blood that God is willing to spill for the sake of his chosen people.
