Regardless of the outcome of the latest Israeli elections, Arab parties will not reap meaningful political benefits, even if they collectively achieve their highest representation ever. The reason is not about the parties themselves, but in Israel’s skewed political system which is predicated on racism and marginalization of non-Jews.
Israel was established on a problematic premise of being a homeland of all Jews, everywhere – not of Palestine’s own native inhabitants – and on a bloody foundation, that of the Nakba and the destruction of historic Palestine and the expulsion of its people.
Such beginnings were hardly conducive to the establishment of a real democracy, perfect or blemished. Not only did Israel’s discriminatory attitude persist throughout the years, it actually worsened, especially as the Palestinian Arab population rose disproportionally compared to the Jewish population between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea.
The unfortunate reality is that some Arab parties have participated in Israeli elections since 1949, some independently and others under the ruling Mapei party umbrella. They did so despite Arab communities in Israel being ruled by a military government (1951-1966) and practically governed, until this day, by the unlawful ‘Defense (Emergency Regulations)’. This participation has constantly been touted by Israel and its supporters as proof of the state’s democratic nature.
This claim alone has served as the backbone of Israeli hasbara throughout the decades. Though often unwittingly, Arab political parties in Israel have provided the fodder for such propaganda, making it difficult for Palestinians to argue that the Israeli political system is fundamentally flawed and racist.
Palestinian citizens have always debated among themselves about the pros and cons of taking part in Israeli elections. Some understood that their participation validates the Zionist ideology and Israeli apartheid, while others argued that refraining from participating in the political process denies Palestinians the opportunity to change the system from within.
The latter argument has lost much of its merit, as Israel sank deeper into apartheid, while social, political and legal conditions for Palestinians worsened. The Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel (Adalah) reports on dozens of discriminatory laws in Israel that exclusively target Arab communities. Additionally, in a report published in February, Amnesty International describes thoroughly how the “representation of Palestinian citizens of Israel in the decision making process … has been restricted and undermined by an array of Israeli laws and policies.”
This reality has existed for decades, long before July 19, 2018, when the Israeli parliament approved the so-called Jewish Nation-State Basic Law. The Law was the most glaring example of political and legal racism, which made Israel a full-fledged apartheid regime.
The Law was also the most articulate proclamation of Jewish supremacy over Palestinians in all aspects of life, including the right to self-determination.
Those who have argued that Arab participation in Israeli politics served a purpose in the past should have done more than collectively denounce the Nation-State law, by resigning en masse, effective immediately. They should have taken advantage of the international uproar to convert their struggle from a parliamentary to a popular grassroots one.
Alas, they have not. They continued to participate in Israeli elections, arguing that if they achieved greater representation in the Israeli Knesset, they should be able to challenge the tsunami of Israeli discriminatory laws.
This did not happen, even after the Joint List, which unified four Arab parties in the March 2020 elections, achieved its greatest turnout ever, becoming the Knesset’s third largest political bloc.
The supposed historic victory culminated to nil because all mainstream Jewish parties, regardless of their ideological backgrounds, refused to include Arab parties in their potential coalitions.
The enthusiasm that mobilized Arab voters behind the Joint List began to dwindle, and the List itself fragmented, thanks to Mansour Abbas, the head of the Arab party, Ra’am.
In the March 2021 elections, Abbas wanted to change the dynamics of Arab politics in Israel altogether. “We focus on the issues and problems of the Arab citizens of Israel within the Green Line,” Abbas told TIME magazine in June 2021, adding “we want to heal our own problems”, as if declaring a historic delink from the rest of the Palestinian struggle.
Abbas was wrong, as Israel perceives him, his followers, the Joint List and all Palestinians to be obstacles in its efforts to maintain the exclusivist ‘Jewish identity’ of the state. The Abbas experiment, however, became even more interesting, when Ra’am won 4 seats and joined a government coalition led by far-right, anti-Palestinian politician Naftali Bennet.
By the time the coalition collapsed in June, Abbas achieved little, aside from splitting the Arab vote and proving, again, that changing Israeli politics from within has always been a fantasy.
Even after all of this, Arab parties in Israel still insisted on participating in a political system that, despite its numerous contradictions, agreed on one thing: Palestinians are, and will always be, the enemy.
Even the violent events of May 2021, where Palestinians found themselves fighting on multiple fronts – against the Israeli army, police, intelligence services, armed settlers and even ordinary citizens – did not seem to change the Arab politicians’ mindset. Arab population centers in Umm Al-Fahm, Lydda and Jaffa, were attacked with the same racist mentality as Gaza and Sheikh Jarrah, illustrating that nearly 75 years of supposed integration between Jews and Arabs under Israel’s political system hardly changed the racist view towards Palestinians.
Instead of converting the energy of what Palestinians dubbed the ‘Unity Intifada’ to invest in Palestinian unity, Arab Israeli politicians returned to the Israeli Knesset, as if they still had hope in salvaging Israel’s inherently corrupt political system.
The self-delusion continues. On September 29, Israel’s Central Election Committee disqualified an Arab party, Balad, from running in the November elections. The decision was eventually overturned by the country’s Supreme Court, urging an Arab legal organization in Israel to describe the decision as ‘historic’. In essence, they suggested that Israel’s apartheid system still carries the hope of true democracy.
The future of Arab politics in Israel will remain grim if Arab politicians continue to pursue this failed tactic. Though Palestinian citizens of Israel are socio-economically privileged if compared to Palestinians in the Occupied Territories, they enjoy nominal or no substantive political or legal rights. By remaining loyal participants in Israel’s democracy charade, these politicians continue to validate the Israeli establishment, thus harming, not only Palestinian communities in Israel but, in fact, Palestinians everywhere.
Palestinian Islamic Jihad resistance movement Secretary General Ziad al-Nakhala underlined that there is today a real and serious revolution in the face of the Zionist occupation in the occupied West Bank, adding that the Palestinian youths are united under a group of battalions that are distributed all over the West Bank, presenting a model in unity.
In an interview with al-Mayadeen network, Nakhala disclosed the great openness and unlimited coordination between the Islamic Jihad movement and al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, making clear that this cooperation started after Operation ‘Tunnel of Freedom’ in the high-security ‘Israeli’ Gilboa Prison, which he said opened major horizons in front of the resistance groups in the occupied West Bank.
The Islamic Jihad leader also said: “What the heroes have achieved in the tunnel, and what was achieved on ground, represent a new phase of jihad,” pointing to that the Palestinian Authority has not changed its stance towards the state of resistance, yet there are significant categories from the Fatah Movement that embrace all the resistance men in the battlefield.
“What is taking place in the West Bank is part of a revolutionary process and an armed uprising in face of the Zionist scheme, and we are doing our best to escalate this uprising and push it forward in every direction,” the Islamic Jihad SG added.
“Our brothers are working to develop the capabilities of the resistance in the West Bank and to extend it to the occupied Palestinian territories since 1948,” he uncovered.
Nakhala ruled out the spontaneity of the ongoing uprising and armed resistance in the West Bank, explaining that naming the latest operation against the ‘Israeli’ occupation by ‘Unity of the Battlefields’ was intended, as it means the unity of all battlefields in Palestine and the entire Axis of Resistance.
“Operation Unity of the Battlefields was the mother of all battles for the Islamic Jihad, as it engaged in it alone,” Nakhala said, considering that among his strategic faults was to accept a ceasefire after 50 hours of fighting while the group was able to continue the battle.
We had the ability to continue the battle by ourselves for weeks, with the same performance and intensity, the Palestinian resistance leader explained, underlining that Palestine belongs to the Palestinian people and the Zionists have to learn that they have no chance to live in this place.
The Islamic Jihad leader also unveiled that “the group won’t stop its fight as long as the Zionist scheme exists. We won’t compromise, and we are in contact with the Yemeni Ansarullah movement which will have a major role in supporting the Palestinian resistance and people in practice.”
Palestine besiege its siege … the time of the third intifada?
كشفت مقاومة جنين أنَّ إمكانية العمل في الضفة متوافرة، وأن الاستثمار الصحيح في بيئتها من جديد، على يد تنظيمات كبيرة مثل “فتح” أو قوية مثل “حماس”، يمكن أن يعيد بناء حالة مشتبكة ومؤثرة.
قدّمت الجهاد الإسلامي دليلاً دامغاً على إمكانية البناء من الصفر مجدداً
كلَّما يتورط الجيش الإسرائيلي في الضفة أكثر، تقترب الانتفاضة الثالثة من أن تكون حقيقة. وبينما يزداد عدد الجنود في كل اقتحام ويصير بالمئات، يتأكد أن الأمور تخرج عن سيطرة “الجيش القوي” فعلاً. ومع عودة الطيران إلى سماء الضفة المحتلة، الاستطلاعي أو المروحي، يتبين أنَّ المواجهات المسلحة تنتقل إلى السيناريوات الأصعب… ليس أخيراً: كلَّما تحضر “إسرائيل” بنفسها، تغيب السلطة الضعيفة، ويقوى عود المقاومة. فما قصة كتائب المقاومة الآخذة بالتزايد والتصاعد في الضفة؟ ولماذا هذا العمل الإسرائيلي اليومي، وحتى اللحظيّ، ضدها؟ نجيب عن ذلك وأكثر في هذه الحلقات الأربع.
المؤكّد بالبساطة والفطرة التي يتحدَّث بها من يخوضون المواجهات فجراً وصباحاً ومساءً في مدن الضفة المحتلة عامة، ومناطقها الشمالية خاصة، أنَّ الاحتلال الإسرائيلي مغناطيس جاذب لكلِّ ما يمكن أن يكون مقاوماً، حتى لأولئك الذين اعتادوا بطريقة ما العيش تحت الاحتلال.
تقدّم “الميادين نت” في هذه المادة التي تأتي في 4 أجزاء معلومات خاصة من الميادين المشتعلة مباشرة، تسرد فيها الحكاية الكاملة لكتائب المقاومة المتصاعدة في الضفة، والسبب وراء السعي الإسرائيلي الحثيث لاجتثاث هذه الكتائب منذ سنة.
بينما ينظر العدو الإسرائيلي إلى كتائب المقاومة كـ”عدوى” لا يمكن السيطرة عليها، في تشبيه بجائحة كورونا التي ثبت عجز حكومات ودول عن التصدي لها بنجاعة، يظهر يوماً بعد يوم أن هذا التشبيه لا يخدم الرواية الإسرائيلية بقدر ما يكشف مكنونات القلق الحقيقي مما يجري في الضفة، إلى حدّ وصف عدد من قادة الجيش والأجهزة الأمنية بأنه الخطر الأكبر حالياً من باقي ساحات المواجهة، من دون أن ينكروا ضمناً أن الصدارة تبقى لمناطق فلسطين الـ48، حتى إن التقديرات الأخيرة لدى الجيش وجهاز “الشاباك” تفيد بأن “انتفاضة ثالثة أو ما يشبهها/انتفاضة من نوع جديد” ستندلع في الضفة قبيل الأعياد اليهودية الشهر المقبل.
بصرف النظر عن الهدف من هذه التقديرات التي تتزامن مع طلبات أميركية بـ”خفض التصعيد” و”مراجعة إجراءات إطلاق النار” في الضفة والقدس والرفض الإسرائيلي لها، يبدو أن الاندفاع والضرب بقوة كبيرة جداً والعقاب الجماعي والعائلي هي السمات التي يمكن بها توصيف السلوك الإسرائيلي، بل يمكن القول إنه لم يُعتقل أحد خلال هذين العامين في الضفة.
هنا، تفيد آخر الإحصاءات الصادرة الشهر الماضي أنَّ العدو أجرى منذ بداية العام الجاري نحو 4500 عملية اعتقال، وأنَّ نصفها جرى في مدينة القدس المحتلة، مع تنوع مصير المعتقلين بين من أُفرج عنه أو أُعيد اعتقاله أو سُجن إدارياً أو حوكم بتهمة محددة.
طبقاً لتصريحات رئيس أركان الجيش الإسرائيلي، أفيف كوخافي، جرت مطلع هذا الشهر 1500 عملية اعتقال (ضمن 4500) منذ بدء الحملة المسمّاة “كاسر الأمواج” (3/2022)، إلى جانب “إحباط مئات العمليات”. بعيداً من تضارب الأرقام والمبالغة في بعضها، مثل “مئات العمليات”، تعيد هذه الاعتقالات تعريف الفلسطينيين أنفسهم وارتباطهم بمشروع المقاومة، وإن كانت الإجابة عن الجدوى القريبة متعذرة حالياً، لأنها تخلق تجربة نضالية، حتى لو صغيرة، لدى الشباب والفتية.
لا ضير في تتبّع الأرقام، الفلسطينية والإسرائيلية على سواء، لاستشراف الأفق الذي ينتظر جزءاً مهماً من فلسطين، أكلته المستوطنات إلى حدّ أن أحداً ما اقترح قبل سنوات قليلة ضمها إلى المناطق الفلسطينية المحتلة عام الـ48.
وفق موقع “0404” العبري، تُظهر دراسة للنصف الأول من العام الجاري وقوع أكثر من 3700 هجوم من الفلسطينيين في الضفة، قُتل خلالها 21 مستوطناً وجرح 316. وقد كان منها 2692 هجوماً بالحجارة، و577 بزجاجات المولوتوف، و542 بالإطارات المشتعلة، و33 بالعبوات، و30 بالألعاب النارية، و25 بزجاجات الطلاء، و14 إطلاق نار، وحالة دهس، و4 طعن (وإحباط 7)، وغيرها.
من المهمّ من التوقف عند هذه الأرقام التي لم تحتسب عمليات التصدي للاقتحامات بالوسائل شتى، إنما رصدت ما سمّته “الهجوم”، فيما يقول الراصدون الفلسطينيون إنَّ الأعداد أكثر من ذلك بكثير، ويعطون دليلاً من أرقام أسبوع واحد (28/8/2022-3/9/2022) أصيب فيه 12 جندياً ومستوطناً مع رصد 90 نقطة مواجهة، من بينها عملية طعن و22 عملية إطلاق نار و15 إلقاء عبوات متفجرة وزجاجات حارقة. كما أنَّ الأرقام الإسرائيلية لم توضح الحالة المتصاعدة للمواجهات نوعاً وكماً في مناطق شرقي القدس المحتلة.
لا ينظر الإسرائيلي إلى الأرقام الناتجة من عدوانه المتواصل (منذ بداية العام، قتلت “إسرائيل” أكثر من 85 فلسطينياً من سكّان الضفة والقدس، بينهم 17 قاصراً و6 نساء) إلا من زاوية ما يخدمه في قراءته للتصعيد ليس إلا. ففي التحليل، تعمد الدراسات إلى مقارنة أرقام في مدة محددة بالمرحلة/المراحل الزمنية الشبيهة بها في العام أو الأعوام السابقة، في طريقة رياضية سهلة من أجل رصد التصاعد أو التزايد، لكنَّها لا تجيب عن عوامل أخرى مهمة، وإن كانت تأخذها الأجهزة الأمنية، وخصوصاً الإسرائيلية والأميركية، بالاعتبار.
لتفكيك هذه العوامل تحديداً، لا بدَّ من النظر إلى كل مدينة في الضفة على حدة، بسبب التباينات التي خلقها الاحتلال والتهجير، قبل الوصول إلى صورة عامة، مع التذكير بأن وجه الضفة تغير كثيراً منذ “هبة القدس” (2015-2018) واستشهاد باسل الأعرج (3/2017)، ومن بعدها سلسلة العمليات النوعية، مثل عملية “سلفيت” (2/2018) التي نفّذها الشهيد عمر أبو ليلى، وعملية منطقة “بركان” الصناعية في (10/2018) وما قبلهما ما وبعدهما، لكن استمرارية حدث المقاومة كانت صناعة امتياز لجنين.
في البدء كانت جنين
دوماً ما يُطرح السؤال عن السرّ في كون جنين شعلة النار التي عندما انطفأت في 2002 خمدت المقاومة في الضفة بصورة لافتة، ثم عندما هبّت في 2021 اتسعت بقعة الزيت شمالاً، إلى حدّ أنَّ العيون الآن تترقب وسط الضفة (رام الله، القدس) وجنوبيها (الخليل، بيت لحم). صحيح أنَّ للخليل دوراً كبيراً ولافتاً في “هبة القدس” المشار إليها، لكن سرعان ما وجد الإسرائيليون، ومعهم السلطة الفلسطينية، الحل الناجع لإرقاد “الأسد” مجدداً، ألا وهو: فوضى السلاح – الفلتان الأمني.
في تلك السنوات تحديداً، سمحت السلطة و”إسرائيل”، كلٌّ بطريقته، في إغراق الخليل بالسلاح الذي وصل إلى الأيدي التي لا ترى الاحتلال هدفاً أول، فصار مطلب الأمان الشخصي يتقدم على غيره من الأولويات. في النتيجة، تراجع دور المحافظة التي قدمت خلال أول شهرين من الهبة (10-11/2015) 19 شهيداً من أصل 74. حاول الطرفان، ولا يزالان، تكرار اللعبة نفسها في جنين ونابلس وطوباس وطولكرم. ولما لم تنجح هذه اللعبة، عادا إلى جمع الأسلحة من جديد كي تستغل للمقاومة.
في خطوة أخرى مهمة، لعبت رام الله على وتر التباين بين كوادر “فتح” و”الجهاد الإسلامي”، لكن لا نتائج كبيرة حتى اللحظة. من هنا، نعود إلى سؤالنا: لماذا جنين؟
قبل الإجابة، لا بد من التذكير بأن فصائل المقاومة لم تستطع منذ 2007 حتى 2021 إعادة بناء تشكيلات نظامية أو حتى مجموعات متفرقة في الضفة عموماً، وجنين خصوصاً. ما يمكن تسجيله خلال تلك السنوات هو نجاح بعض المجموعات في تنفيذ عملية واحدة تنكشف بعدها الخلية أو يعتقل أو يقتل أفرادها.
وتُعد خلية الشهيد أحمد جرار (23 عاماً، “حماس”، عملية “حفات جلعاد”، 1/2018) أبرز الأمثلة على ذلك شماليّ الضفة، وخلية الأسير عاصم البرغوثي وشقيقه الشهيد صالح وسط الضفة (32 و30 عاماً، “حماس”، عمليتا “عوفرا” و”جفعات آساف”، 12/2018).
بعد نحو سنة ونصف سنة، تحديداً خلال معركة “سيف القدس” (5/2021)، بدأت “سرايا القدس” (الجهاد الإسلامي) بتشكيل أولى خلاياها المنظمة في مخيم جنين، وكان يرأسها الشهيد جميل العموري (25 عاماً) الذي قاد مجموعته لتنفيذ عمليات إطلاق النار منذ بداية تلك السنة، فضلاً عن التصدي المستمر لاقتحام الاحتلال جنين ومخيمها.
من ثَمّ جاء اغتيال العموري في 10/6/2021 لتكون البداية الفعلية لمرحلة جديدة من العمل في جنين، علماً أن العموري قضى مع شهيدين من جهاز “الاستخبارات” العسكري التابع للسلطة، هما الملازم أدهم عليوي (23 عاماً) من نابلس، والنقيب تيسير عيسة (33 عاماً) من بلدة ميثون.
ثمة هنا قطبة مخفية تتعلق بمؤسس الكتيبة، العموري، وكذلك الشهيد عبد الله الحصري (22 عاماً)، ولها ارتباط بعملية التحرر من سجن جلبوع التي اشتُهرت بـ”نفق الحرية” (2021). قيل آنذاك إن تحرر الأسرى الستة واستعداد جنين لاستقبالهم كلهم، أو بعضهم، سرّعا في تقوية كتيبة والتحام مقاتلي السرايا مع مقاتلي “كتائب شهداء الأقصى” (فتح) وتكوين ما سُمّي “حزام النار” لحماية الأسرى المتحررين، وخصوصاً أن منهم قائد الكتائب السابق في المخيم الأسير زكريا زبيدي (46 عاماً).
لكنَّ هذا لا يكفي لتفسير اندفاعة قادة الكتيبة وعناصرها، وهو أمر ستتكفل تفصيله حلقات “الأبطال” التي ستُبث على شاشة “الميادين”، ولا سيّما العلاقة الخاصة التي كانت تربط العموري والحصري بمهندس عملية التحرر وقائدها، الأسير محمود العارضة (46 عاماً)، ودوره الحصري في ما بعد التحرر. أيضاً، يشار إلى دور الأسير وسام أبو زيد (23 عاماً) الذي أصيب خلال عملية اغتيال العموري.
متى تأسست كتيبة جنين؟ وما أبرز عملياتها؟
لماذا جنين؟
في الإجابة عن سؤالنا المركزي: “لماذا جنين؟”، يظهر عدد من المعطيات التي لا يمكن للإعلام الغارق في الأحداث المتلاحقة استكشافها بسهولة. صحيح أنَّ العوامل التاريخية حاضرة بقوة في تجربة جنين تحديداً، لكنْ ثمة عوامل جديدة جديرة بالدراسة، وخصوصاً أن خطوةً إسرائيلية مثل فتح معبر “سالم” (3/2022) بين أراضي فلسطين 1948 وجنين للمرة الأولى منذ إغلاقه عام 2000 تشي بأنَّ الإسرائيلي يعيد تطبيق تجربة غزة (العصا والجزرة)، في إشارةٍ إلى فتح “إيرز-بيت حانون” لدخول العمال، وهي أيضاً الخطوة المتخذة بعد قرابة 20 سنة من وقفها.
هذا ليس التقاطع الأول بين جنين وغزة، بل كان هناك تقاطع رئيسي أشعَرَ أهالي الأولى بأنهم “محافظة محررة”، وذلك حينما تقرر جراء ضربات المقاومة في خطة “فك الارتباط الأحادي” الإسرائيلية مع غزة عام 2005 تفكيك المنشآت العسكرية و”إعادة انتشار” الجيش الإسرائيلي حول جنين، مع إخلاء 4 مستوطنات هي: “غنيم”، “كديم”، “سانور”، “حومش”، علماً أن الأخيرة أُقيم فيها بعد سنوات بؤرة استيطانية لتصير مثل “مسمار جحا” وتتعرض لعملية مميزة من “كتيبة جنين” (16/12/2021) قادها الأسير محمود جرادات (41 عاماً) وأدت إلى مقتل مستوطن.
إذاً، من الأساس، تمتلك مدينة جنين ومخيمها خصوصية كبيرة في العمل المقاوم تاريخياً، فقد شهدت آخر معارك الشيخ السوري عز الدين القسام الذي كان قد خرج من سوريا، وأقام في حيفا، ثم اعتصم في جنين، وتركت مقاومته أثراً كبيراً في اندلاع الثورة الكبرى والإضراب الكبير عام 1936.
منذ ذلك الزمن، عُرفت جنين كأبرز معاقل المقاومة التي أفرد لها رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي الميّت، أرئيل شارون، اهتماماً بالغاً، لكونها شكلت منطلقاً لعشرات العمليات في الداخل المحتل خلال انتفاضة الأقصى الثانية (2000-2005).
بعد ذلك، تركت معركة المخيم عام 2002 مفاعليها في علاقة أبناء الفصائل الفلسطينية، ولا سيما “فتح” و”الجهاد الإسلامي”، إلى حد أنَّ الجيل الجديد، رغم أنَّه لم يعايش تلك المعركة الفاصلة، نشأ متأثراً بتلك العلاقة المميزة. بعد ذلك، تحضر عوامل أخرى، أبرزها التركيبة العائلية المقاومة في المدينة ومخيمها، وحتى قراها، إلى درجة أن مؤسس “الجهاد الإسلامي” الشهيد فتحي الشقاقي سبق أن وصف قرية مثل السيل الحارثية بأنها “طهران فلسطين”.
إلى جانب تركيز الدراسات والتقارير على البنية الجغرافية للمدينة والمخيم، لا بدَّ من الانتباه إلى أنَّ التركيبة الاجتماعية والنفسية تؤدي دورها بقوة، فضلاً عن الانفتاح على الآخر فصائلياً، وهو ما يذوّب الفوارق التي سعى الاحتلال والسلطة عبرهما إلى كسر حالات كتائب المقاومة حين نشوئها في المحافظات الأخرى. كذلك، تحضر في جنين حالة الرفض لسياسات رام الله بين أبناء “فتح” وموظفي الأجهزة الأمنية، وهذا ما يشكّل حزام حماية، وخصوصاً أن لهؤلاء مساهمات مكشوفة وأخرى مخفيّة لدعم المقاومين.
خاتمة: ما بعد “وحدة الساحات”
في الخلاصة، تؤدي “كتيبة جنين” مهمّتها الأولى بجدارة، وهي مشاغلة الاحتلال والتصدي لاقتحاماته. وقد قدمت عدداً من الشهداء خلال السنة الأولى لانطلاقها، معظمهم من جنين، لكنَّ المهمة الثانية والأهم أنَّها تساهم يوماً تلو الآخر في زيادة التفاف الشارع حول المقاومة، وانخراط شباب جدد في العمل العسكري داخلها وفي مدن أخرى، وهذا ما يخشى الإسرائيلي نتائجه المستقبلية. وبينما كان الزخم الإعلامي الكفيل باستنهاض الحالة الثورية غير كافٍ بداية السنة الماضية، إذ اقتصر آنذاك على إعلام “الجهاد الإسلامي”، ها هو يجتاح الضفة كلها.
بعد سنة من انطلاق الكتيبة، جاءت مواجهة “وحدة الساحات” لتشكّل علامة فارقة أخرى شعر معها المقاومون بوجود ظهير حقيقي لهم في غزة، الأمر الذي كان العدو يريد عكسه تماماً، وإذ بالسحر ينقلب عليه، ليبدو أنَّ المعركة الأخيرة – بصرف النظر عن جملة كبيرة من الملاحظات حولها سياسياً وميدانياً وأمنياً وإعلامياً – دفعت بالضفة نحو المواجهة المفتوحة، إلى جانب أن تكثيف الاحتلال عملياته اليومية، وحتى الساعيّة، وارتقاء الشهداء واحداً تلو آخر وكمّ الاعتقالات الهائل، يزيد بسالة الشبّان وحماستهم.
في المحصلة، كشفت مقاومة جنين أنَّ إمكانية العمل في الضفة متوافرة، رغم سنوات من الأخطاء المتراكمة، وأن الاستثمار الصحيح والمدروس في بيئة الضفة من جديد، على يد تنظيمات كبيرة مثل “فتح” أو قوية مثل “حماس”، يمكن أن يعيد بناء حالة مشتبكة ومؤثرة، فقد أقامت “الجهاد الإسلامي” بشبابها الصغار الحجّة، وقدّمت على محدودية حضورها في بعض مدن الضفة دليلاً دامغاً على إمكانية البناء من الصفر مجدداً، وخصوصاً أنها أعادت إنتاج نفسها، حتى لو بحدود ضيقة وخطى بطيئة.
نشرت مجلة «ايكونوميست» الأميركية في 22-آب الجاري معلومات تشير إلى التغيرات التي طرأت على التوازن الديموغرافي بين الفلسطينيين وبين اليهود في الكيان الإسرائيلي وبقية الأراضي الفلسطينية التي يقيم فيها الفلسطينيون في الضفة الغربية والقدس وقطاع غزة والأراضي المحتلة منذ عام 1948، فتبين أن عدد الفلسطينيين على امتداد وجودهم من قطاع غزة حتى الناقورة، يزيد قليلاً على مجمل عدد اليهود في الكيان وفي الأراضي المحتلة بعد عام 1967، فقد بلغ عدد السكان الإجمالي في إسرائيل وما يتبع لها من مستوطنات في الضفة الغربية تسعة ملايين ونصف المليون بما فيهم الفلسطينيون الموجودون داخل الأراضي المحتلة منذ عام 1948، ومنهم 21 بالمئة من هؤلاء الفلسطينيين داخل الكيان و74 بالمئة من اليهود و5 بالمئة من غير اليهود، وهذا يعني أن عددهم أقل من سبعة ملايين، على حين يصبح العدد الإجمالي للفلسطينيين الموجودين في داخل الكيان وفي الضفة الغربية وفي قطاع غزة والقدس أكثر من سبعة ملايين.
وتشير المجلة إلى أن 13 بالمئة من هؤلاء الملايين السبعة اليهود هم من اليهود السلفيين الذين يمتنعون عن الخدمة بجيش الاحتلال بسبب الشريعة التوراتية التي تفرض عليهم العبادة فقط، وبهذه النسبة التي يزيد عددها على مليون من اليهود تقريبا سيعتمد خزان القوى البشرية العسكرية للكيان على ستة ملايين من اليهود، على حين يزيد خزان القوى البشرية الفلسطينية على سبعة ملايين تنتشر نسبة منهم في داخل مدن مختلطة السكان مثل عكا وحيفا واللد ويافا وجنوب فلسطين قرب بئر السبع.
وإذا كان الشعب الفلسطيني في الضفة الغربية والقدس وفي قطاع غزة يشن حملات مقاومة بأشكال مسلحة وغير مسلحة ضد جيش الاحتلال، فإنهم يقومون بهذه المهمة باسم كل الشعب الفلسطيني سواء باسم الموجودين داخل فلسطين المحتلة أم خارجها، وفي ظل هذا الوضع سيعمل على توحيد ساحات وجبهات المقاومة داخل مساحة فلسطين كلها وسيكون لديه قوة بشرية تربك جيش الاحتلال والمستوطنين في كل مكان داخل فلسطين.
وبسبب تناقص العدد الكافي والمطلوب للقوى البشرية المؤهلة للتجنيد في جيش الاحتلال النظامي، كان رئيس الحكومة نفتالي بينيت قد أعلن قبل سنة ونصف السنة أن جيشه سيقدم لمن يرغب من المستوطنين داخل الكيان وفي الضفة الغربية والقدس السلاح والذخائر لكي يحملها دوماً ويستخدمها من دون أوامر ضد كل أشكال المقاومة الفلسطينية، وجاءت هذه الدعوة غير المسبوقة في طريقة الإعلان عنها على لسان رئيس حكومة الكيان بهدف سد ثغرة تناقص عدد القوى البشرية في جيش الاحتلال النظامي، وهي تدل على حالة الضعف والتدهور التي بدأت تطرأ على قدرة جيش الاحتلال أمام صمود ومقاومة الشعب الفلسطيني في الداخل والعجز عن التغلب عليها.
وتشير التقارير الغربية إلى أن قيادة جيش الاحتلال لن يكون بمقدورها تجنيد عدد يزيد على 300 ألف أو 400 ألف من الجنود النظاميين حتى باستخدام كل قوات الاحتياط، لأن الملايين الستة التي يجري تجنيد الشبان والشابات من بينها، لا يمكن أن يوفروا أكثر من هذا العدد من الجنود وستزداد صعوبة أي مجابهة عسكرية تحدث بين المقاومة الفلسطينية وجيش الاحتلال بسبب عدد الجبهات القتالية التي سيضطر جيش الاحتلال للانتشار فيها، في الوسط أمام الضفة الغربية وفي الجنوب أمام قطاع غزة وصواريخ القطاع وفي داخل الكيان أمام مليونين من الفلسطينيين المنتشرين من عكا إلى الجليل إلى وسط البلاد، أما في الشمال حيث توجد جبهة المقاومة اللبنانية وصواريخها وجبهة حدود الجولان المحتل، فسوف يحتاج جيش الاحتلال إلى أكثر من مئة وخمسين ألفاً إن لم يكن إلى مئتي ألف لحماية حدود الكيان الخارجية الممتدة من حدود الجولان المحتل حتى جنوب لبنان، ولذلك دأب جيش الاحتلال على الحرص الشديد بألا يفجر حرباً شاملة على جبهة الشمال برغم أنه يرى تزايداً في قدرات هذه الجبهة شهراً تلو آخر ويعجز عن منع تعاظمها وخاصة بعد انتصار الجيش العربي السوري وحلفائه على حرب الإرهاب الكونية التي شارك في شنها جيش الاحتلال إلى جانب مئة دولة ولم ينجح بتحقيق أهدافه فيها.
ولذلك يعترف المحللون العسكريون والمتخصصون بالشؤون الإستراتيجية في تل أبيب أن الكيان الإسرائيلي يمر بأصعب وأفدح الأخطار بعد التحول الذي فرضته أطراف محور المقاومة في ميزان القوى الإقليمي في المنطقة برغم اتفاقات كامب ديفيد وما تبعها من اتفاقات أوسلو ووادي عربة التي لم تحمل أي عوامل قوة إضافية إلى الكيان لا في مواجهة الشعب الفلسطيني ومقاومته المستمرة على كل فلسطين، ولا في مواجهة جبهة المقاومة اللبنانية والسورية في الشمال.
أمام هذا الوضع العسير جداً لن يكون بمقدور هذا الكيان الهروب من دفع الثمن.
JERUSALEM, PALESTINE – The situation in Palestine can be summed up as follows: Rampant Settler violence and intimidation, state-sponsored racism and violence, modern, comfortable housing and living conditions for Jews only while Palestinians are denied basic services, killing of Palestinians across the board – activists, journalists, fighters, children and citizens of Israel. Palestinian organizations, even ones that are recognized internationally, have no protection and are subject to closure, arrests and confiscation of their property.
Nowhere in Palestine can Palestinians expect to be safe or to enjoy equality, justice or peace of mind. Be they citizens in El-Lyd or the Naqab, residents with limited rights in Jerusalem, or residents with no rights in ghettos across what used to be the West Bank. People living in Gaza, be they active or not, militant or not, men, women or children, Palestinian lives are expendable.
SERVICES DENIED
The misnamed and misunderstood phenomenon of murders within the Palestinian towns of 1948 – Palestinian citizens of Israel – is one example. The apartheid state and its media refer to it as “violence in the Arab society.” However, the violence is not initiated within the society but is skillfully directed and managed by the state and the various state agencies that are charged with overseeing Palestinian citizens. It should be referred to as “Violence directed at the Palestinian citizens of Israel,” but alas, that would recognize that they are Palestinians and that they are citizens who deserve to benefit from the services the state provides its Jewish citizens.
Services like trash collection, water supply, electricity, safe roads, general safety and policing are largely nonexistent in the Palestinian communities of 1948, communities made of Palestinian citizens of Israel. Furthermore, the phenomenon wrongly named “violence in the Arab community” lays the blame for the violence within these communities at the feet of the victims. The toll from this violence is enormous, with a higher rate of murder cases, the majority of which are never investigated, much less solved, is too high for any community.
Israel, of course, likes to place the blame for the violence on the victims themselves. As is well known by now, blaming the Palestinian victims is something that Israel does with great ability and success, thus absolving itself of any responsibility. However, the weapons, the criminals, and the lack of support for the community that is all but begging the authorities to collect the guns and arrest the criminals are all part of Israeli’s reckless disregard for Palestinian lives. All of this is now documented in an outstanding film called “Life in the shadow of Death,” made by Palestinian filmmaker and producer Bilal Yousef.
DAILY TOLL
Palestinians pay an almost daily toll of blood and pain demanded of them by Israel. “Clashes” is the word that the media likes to use when describing this levy, something that is always the result of Israeli forces attacking Palestinians. Perhaps those who publish in the corporate media are comforted by the thought that it was not a massive, immoral army blinded by hatred of Palestinians and love of killing that attacked civilians in their sleep. Perhaps they would rather think it was an actual clash in which Palestinian blood was spilled.
However, regardless of what the media and politicians decide to call it, Israel mobilizes numerically superior forces that are equipped with state-of-the-art weapons systems in order to engage in heavy shelling of residential areas and targeted killing of individuals, mostly remarkable young men. The purpose of the attacks is usually achieved and includes death and injuries to people who at most, were armed with a single semi-automatic rifle.

“Israeli forces kill two Palestinians in overnight Nablus raid.” Headlines like this can be seen almost daily, the name of the city may be Nablus or Jenin or Aida camp near Bethlehem, and the number of young men killed and injured changes. But the deadly spilling of young Palestinian blood is ongoing as the apartheid state tries to satisfy its unquenchable thirst for blood. On top of that, the new prime minister thinks he needs to spill Palestinian blood to boost his own political career so that we may expect more of the same.
The raids are always shown the following day on Israeli news channels. The so-called operations are described as “complex” and “heroic.” One of the recent raids resulted in the killing of an IDF-trained canine, and it too was mourned. According to The Jerusalem Post, when Israel went into Nablus to capture or kill Ibrahim Nabulsi, they surrounded his home, meaning that hundreds of special forces armed and paid for by U.S. taxpayer dollars were utilized to conduct raids and intimidation.
The toll paid by Palestinians this year alone is unthinkable. The latest assault on Nablus brings the casualty figures for the West Bank and Gaza close to 150 killed. Inside 1948 Palestine, the number of deaths is between 70-80 killed so far. The year is not yet over. And neither is the Israeli thirst for violence, which means more and more Palestinian mothers can expect to lose their children to Israeli bullets.
PALESTINIAN ORGANIZATIONS RAIDED
As these words are being written, Palestinian human rights organization Al-Haq reported that Israeli soldiers stormed its offices in Ramallah, confiscating items, and shutting down the main entrance with an iron plate. The army declared the organization unlawful.
Other groups that were raided this morning are Addameer, the Bisan Center for Research & Development, Defense for Children International-Palestine, the Union of Palestinian Women’s Committees and the Union of Agricultural Work Committee and the Union of Health Workers Committees.
Palestinians are at a point where they can find no support anywhere, regardless of the severity of their conditions. Be they simply people who want to live their lives, fighters, activists or organizations dedicated to human rights, they will be killed and harassed.
What do these four separate events have in common?
The Nakba, administrative detention, Jenin and Shireen Abu Akleh
The Nakba as many people are already aware refers to the mass expulsion of ethnic Palestinians from their homes towns and villages in 1948.
Over 750 000 old men, young women mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, fled for their lives, under the threat of annihilation and ethnic genocide from the forces of the newly created “Israel”.
“Israel” was born into the bloodied hands of Zionist terrorism, the Irgun, Stern gangs, and Haganah.
Terrorist groups murdered, maimed mutilated, and raped Palestinians as part of their campaign to create the colonial regime of “Israel” in the land depleted of its indigenous population.
Europeans who were not born in Palestine carried out a wave of ethnic cleansing and a campaign of murder to replace the indigenous population with a nonindigenous invasion of European Jewish and Zionist colonial carpet baggers, who stole farms, occupied homes and robbed the national wealth and resources of Palestine for their own selfish gain.
They not only stole the land, but they stole the lives, the future, the dreams and the aspirations of a nation and its people, forcing 8 million Palestinians to live in exile, many still surviving in refugee camps, and two open-air defacto prison camps, incarcerating the remaining Palestinians living under illegal military occupation.
The ‘Nakba’ is the name given to the Catastrophe that befell the Palestinian people in 1948.
That ongoing catastrophe continues today as illegal Israeli settlements are built on land stolen by the apartheid regime in the occupied territories.
The theft of homes in Al-Khalil and Sheik Jarrah, combined with the recent Israeli Court decision to expel 1000 Palestinians from their homes in order to plant trees on top of their land, proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that the ethnic cleansing house by house, dunum by dunum, continue apace and is indeed Israeli state policy
The remodeling of Palestine into “Israel” continues.
Add to this the cultural appropriation of Palestinian culture and food, and we have nearly the complete expropriation of most things that are Palestinian into a hybrid “Israel” society.
Even the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem) is under constant assault by Israeli occupation forces and illegal settlers, who wish to take and ultimately destroy the mosque, the third most holy site in Islam, in order to build the fabled Temple Mount on the site, of which “Israel” archaeologists have found no historical evidence.
All this violence, death, destruction, and regional conflict were delivered by the US, Britain, and the UN.
They gave away 52% of Palestine on the 14th of May, 1948.
They gave it to the armed militant Zionist gangs who were designated as terrorists at that time.
“Israel” was built on terrorism and continues to exist through its use of terrorism, illegal occupation, siege, bombings, warships, F16 aircraft, attack helicopters, nuclear submarines, extrajudicial murders, spies, and collaborators.
Palestinians have paid the ultimate price for European antisemitism from 19th-century Czarist Russia to Hitler’s 20th-century Germany.
Palestinian are paying the price for crimes they did not commit.
The riots in Al-Quds in 1926 prove Zionist intentions to colonize Palestine long before the second world war.
The primary resistance to this military occupation of Palestinian homes, towns, lands, and villages by Zionists was the use of armed resistance.
Although Palestine had no army, navy, or airforce, with most of the civilian population having been disarmed by the British occupation prior to partition, the people tried valiantly to defend themselves.
As part of the occupation’s oppressive control of Palestinians today, the use of administrative detention, also known as internment without trial, used by the British during the British Mandate laws, has no legal basis in international law.
It is used to disrupt peaceful opposition to the ongoing illegal Israeli occupation as a blunt tool of repression.
No charges are brought against the plaintiff.
Secret evidence may be produced for the non-jury, trial judge to peruse.
This secret evidence, if it even exists, is not made available to the defense, and universally the victim of this miscarriage of justice is carted off to jail for periods of 6 months at a time.
This can be extended at the whim of the court upon expiry.
Some Palestinians have served concurrent periods of administrative detention leading to between 10 and 15 years of incarceration.
No formal charges are presented, no trial by jury, no evidence provided in open court to be challenged by the defense, just a nod and a wink between the state enforcement branch of government and the state judiciary branch of government, and you’re locked up.
A whole society and government based on the continued exploitation and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, in order to allow Zionists to steal their homes and their land.
This is all carried out under the protection of the IOF.
Palestinians are subject to military law and military courts while illegal Israeli settlers are subject to civil law and civil courts.
Administrative detention, controlled movement, extrajudicial murder, house demolitions, live bullets rubber bullets, batons, tear gas, bombs, and missiles are the order of the day in the arsenal of the repressive apartheid regime to be used as necessary against the Palestinian people.
While the UN passed resolution 194 allowing Palestinians who fled the ethnic cleansing of 1948 to return to Palestine, “Israel” consistently refuses to comply.
Any Jew not born in Palestine can immigrate there from Russia, America, France, Ukraine, Britain, or indeed from any part of the globe and be given land or homes that have been stolen from the indigenous people?
Palestinians have the right under international law to resist the illegal occupation of the West Bank and Gaza by ‘ Any Means Necessary’ this includes the right to armed self-defense.
Jenin is one of the many refugee camps that are to be found in the West Bank, Gaza, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and indeed all over West Asia.
Many of its inhabitants are refugees from the expulsions of 1948 and again in 1967 when the Israeli militarily occupied the West Bank and Gaza.
A refugee camp filled with the nightmares of occupation and the dreams of returning to their homes and land.
A place where the spirit of freedom shines bright amidst the darkness of oppression.
The only response to the overwhelming and complete control of their society, and as a reaction to the continued Israeli military brutality and provocations, was to use their very bodies in an act of desperation to remind the world and Israeli society they refuse to be treated like this, they chose to resist
Recently we have witnessed Israeli provocations at Al Aqsa,
The beatings and arrests inside the mosque combined with the firing of tear gas at peaceful worshippers, the brutality shown towards the old men, young women, and girls near Damascus Gate and the apparent shoot to kill policy being used by the IOF against unarmed civilians, has enraged Palestinian civil society and roused the resistance into action
Many children, young men, and even mothers have been murdered by the IOF.
A death sentence is a price for resisting the illegal occupation with a stone.
Jenin is not alone in continuing to resist the occupation, every Palestinian – except those who profit from the occupation or collaborate with it – demands peace, justice and dignity for Palestine.
Shireen Abu Akleh died as she lived exposing Israeli violations of international law, its war crimes, its brutality and its viciousness.
The hierarchy of victimhood, which is so well defined in the West, can also be found in Israeli coverage of the occupation.
Palestinians are “terrorists”.
Israelis are “peace-loving people who just want to live in safety.”
The reality is most likely the reverse of this narrative.
Why was Shireen assassinated?
Well, its quite simple really, from the expulsion of 750,000 Palestinians during the Nakba which is commemorated every May 15, the day after “Israel” was created and the ethnic cleansing began in earnest, through Administrative detention, used to repress legitimate dissent and opposition to the occupation, to the abandonment of Palestinians to the refugee camps in order to control them, it is the broadcasters, journalists, photographers and eyewitnesses that the occupation also wants to control.
They want to control not only what Palestinians are allowed to do in their own country in their homes on their land and even in their mosques but they want to control what you and I outside of Palestine are allowed to see and hear.
Targeted assassination of journalists is as much a tool in the arsenal of the apartheid regime as ethnic cleansing house demolitions, Administrative detention, controlled movement, and murder.
Shireen was executed because she exposed the truth to the world of the brutality of “Israel”s continuing illegal occupation
She reported on house demolitions, peaceful protests, military house raids, and on the excesses of the Israeli Courts
She was a thorn in their side.
According to the Palestinian Union of Journalists 55 journalists have been murdered, executed by the IOF in Palestine from 2000 and many many more injured.
The press is regularly attacked, cameras are broken and journalists are assaulted.
There is no freedom in Palestine from the brutality of the repressive military occupation for any indigenous person.
Indeed international solidarity activists are also under threat, while walking children to school like the ecumenical accompaniers in Al-Khalil, to Rachel Corrie and Tom Hurndell both International Solidarity members murdered by the Israeli regime.
There is a linear line that goes from 1901 through to 2022 that joins land, acquisition, ethnic cleansing, race riots, the partition of Palestine, the 1948 and 1967 Israeli wars of aggression, the occupation of the West Bank and Gaza, and the murder of Shireen Abu Akleh.
It’s called Zionism.
It is a cancer that has invaded the body politics and society of WestAsia if not treated it will destroy the host.

Al Mayadeen correspondent in occupied Al-Quds reported Sunday that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and encircled the worshipers inside Al-Qibli prayer hall.

Our correspondent indicated that at 5 am, the IOF stormed Al-Qibli prayer hall and sealed its doors with iron chains. The occupation forces also set up a barrier in the Old City of Al-Quds to prevent Palestinians from reaching Al-Aqsa Mosque.
About 1,000 Israeli settlers raided the Old City of Al-Quds on Sunday, waving Israeli flags and provoking the city’s residents.
In light of the preparations for the “Flag March” in Al-Quds, the head of Hamas Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, said that “all options are on the table, and we are ready for all possible scenarios.”
Haniyeh added that the occupation wishes to make the “Flag March” an attempt to undermine the accomplishment of the Seif Al-Quds battle and to bypass the fervor created after the battle, “but we will say clearly that the clock will not turn back, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque is our right and it belongs to us.”
He further clarified that the nation, the people, and the Resistance are all ready to deal with any developments that may occur on Sunday and considered the spearhead of the developments to be “our people in Al-Quds, who never thought twice about defending Al-Aqsa, the West Bank, and the ’48 territories, and Gaza will remain as their sword and shield.”
Similarly, the Palestinian Resistance factions warned the Israeli occupation from committing any foolishness by allowing the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and carrying out the “Flag March”, stressing that this scheme would detonate the regional situation.

Simultaneously, Israeli media outlets said that the occupation has deployed additional Iron Dome systems in the occupied territories. Israeli Channel 12 said that occupation forces deployed these systems to intercept rockets in the occupied Palestinian lands.

أفادت مراسلة الميادين في القدس المحتلة، اليوم الأحد، بأن قوات الاحتلال اقتحمت باحات المسجد الأقصى وحاصرت المعتكفين داخل المصلى القبلي.

وأوضحت مراسلتنا أنه عند الخامسة فجراً اقتحمت قوات الاحتلال المسجد القبلي وأغلقت الأبواب بالسلاسل الحديدية، كذلك أقامت قوات الاحتلال حاجزاً في البلدة القديمة بالقدس لمنع الفلسطينيين من الوصول إلى الأقصى.
واعتقلت قوات الاحتلال عدداً من الفلسطينيين في الأقصى أثناء اقتحام المستوطنين لباحاته.
واستباح نحو ألف مستوطن البلدة القديمة في القدس أمس السبت، وهم يرفعون أعلام الاحتلال ويستفزّون السكان.
يذكر أن قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي تُعدّ اليوم لما يُعرف بـ “مسيرة الأعلام”، فيما أكّدت “حماس” أنّ “هناك ثلاثية متأهبة للتعامل مع تطورات الموقف اليوم، وهي الأمّة والشعب والمقاومة”.
وفي هذا السياق، ذكرت وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية، السبت، أنّ “حماس أطلقت 8 صواريخ من غزة في إطار تجارب نحو البحر، كإشارة تحذير لإسرائيل”.
كذلك ذكر الإعلام الإسرائيلي أنّ الاحتلال “نشر مزيداً من منظومة القبة الحديدية في الداخل الفلسطيني” المحتل. وقالت “القناة الـ12” إنّ قوات الاحتلال نشرت مزيداً من منظومة القبة الحديدية لاعتراض الصواريخ في الداخل الفلسطيني المحتل.
في المقابل، حذّرت فصائل المقاومة الفلسطينية الاحتلالَ الإسرائيلي من “ارتكاب أي حماقة عبر السماح باقتحام المسجد الأقصى من خلال تنظيم مسيرة الأعلام الإرهابية”، مؤكّدةً أنّ “هذا المُخطط سيكون بمنزلة برميل بارود سينفجر ويُشعل المنطقة بأكملها”.
An opinion poll published by the Israeli newspaper “Israel Hayom” exposes the settlers’ declining confidence in the Israeli occupation.
75% of the ’48-Palestinians believe Jews have no right to land in occupied Palestine.
In occupied Palestine, 69% of the Jews are worried about the destiny of the so-called “state”, and 67% say that action with weapons and the enforcement of penalties should be used to “avoid confrontations between Jews and Arabs.” This is the result of a poll conducted against the backdrop of the operations taking place in “Israel” and the anniversary of Seif Al-Quds Battle.
According to the findings, just 25% of ’48-Palestinians feel that the “Jewish people have a claim to sovereignty in the [so-called] Land of Israel,” while the vast majority – around 75% – believe that the Jewish people do not have such a right.
According to the study, the majority of the public, around 66% of Israeli settlers, distrust the police; among ’48-Palestinians, the figure is 73%.
’48-Palestinians also report a higher sense of uneasiness – 71%, compared to 44% of Israeli Jews.
Public trust is becoming a growing concern for “Israel”. The decline in the trust of the public, from the very army of the occupation to the bottom of society, is expressed in numbers, according to a recent Israeli study by the “Israel Democracy Institute.”
The Institute conducts annual consensus in the Israeli society, and the latest marks the nineteenth edition, which was revealed on January 6. There has been a significant decrease in the trust in the Israeli army, receding to 78% – the lowest number since the July 2006 war on Lebanon.
The study is named the “Israeli Democracy Index for 2021” and it includes an update to the Institute’s previous poll in June 2021.
Iranian leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei says Al-Quds Day changed the balance of power against the Israeli occupation and underscores Iran’s support for the Palestinian resistance.

Al-Quds Day is a message to all the Muslims of the world; all the days of the year should be Al-Quds Day, for it is the core of Palestine, Iranian leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei said Friday on the occasion of Al-Quds day.
“On Al-Quds Day this year, everything foretells a new balance of power in the region,” he added, hailing the valiant people of Palestine who are “showing steadfastness every day.”
Regarding the latest developments surrounding occupied Palestine, Sayyed Khamenei highlighted how the world is seeing the biggest supporter of the Israeli occupation – the United States – suffering from successive defeats.
“The oppressive occupation is floundering in the political and military arenas […] it has grown insane due to the revolt in the Jenin Camp after killing hundreds [there] years ago,” the Iranian leader underlined.
“All Palestinians demand military confrontation with the usurping entity. That is evidence of their preparedness for battle,” Sayyed Khamenei underlined.
“Palestine as a whole has switched to the path of resistance […] no solution can be reached without the will of the Palestinian people, and this nullifies all the previous agreements reached with the occupation,” the leader underlined.
“The strength of the resistance is the sole thing capable of solving the issues of the Ummah, especially the Palestinian cause,” he explained.
Ukraine vs. Palestine
He also commented on the situation surrounding Ukraine, criticizing the West for its stance on the war. “The charlatans, the so-called champions of human rights, who are voicing their support for Ukraine, have their mouths muzzled when it comes to Palestine.”
“The Resistance is fighting against global terrorism, helping the Yemeni people in the war waged on them, and confronting the occupation in Palestine,” Khamenei stressed.
“O people of Palestine in the West Bank, the ’48 territories, and the refugee camps, you make up the majority in the confrontation,” he stressed, underlining that Iran was a supporter of and an aid to the Resistance in occupied Palestine, and “we condemn the treacherous leaning of normalization with Israel,” leader Khamenei said.
At the conclusion of his speech, the leader called on the Islamic World, especially the youth, to increase their presence in the fight against the Israeli occupation.
Several Arab and Islamic countries are commemorating Al-Quds day through several popular demonstrations in several cities in support of occupied Palestine and the Palestinian cause and resistance.

Al-Quds International Day is celebrated every last Friday of the Holy Month of Ramadan. This year, it will be held on Friday 29th. Before this occasion, a Virtual Quds Forum is held each year via video conference, as a “Unified Platform” that gathers leaders, officials, and personalities from the regional Axis of Resistance.

Once again, comes upon us this great occasion, the occasion of faith, jihad and devotion, I mean the International Day of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) or the International Al-Quds Day.
Day after day, becomes clear to us the extent of the greatness and wisdom that was manifested in Imam Khomeini’s – may God be pleased with him – Declaration of the last Friday of the blessed month of Ramadan as an International Day for Al-Quds and his call to the peoples of the (Islamic) Nation, of the world and to the whole world to revive this occasion and consider it a central day for Al-Quds, Palestine, the people of Palestine and this great historical battle.
This becomes clear day after day when we see that this issue is buzzing with life again, you find more supporters, helpers & sympathizers for it, thinkers, theorists, as well as Mujahideen (fighters) who are ready to sacrifice for it, while the enemy’s strategy from the beginning – meaning the enemy who established this entity, I mean the World Arrogance (Imperialism), the Zionist movement, and those who cooperated with them behind the scenes, be it governments and regimes in the Arab world –, their strategy was to bet on time, that this issue be forgotten with time, that this issue be consumed by events, and becomes forgotten and forsaken with time, and that the peoples of the Middle East, including the Palestinian people, with all the challenges, trials and difficulties they face, will in one way or another abandon this issue or, at the very least, it will not remain at the top of the priority list.
Their strategy has always been betting on the despair of the Palestinian people, of our peoples and of our (Islamic) Nation, on their despair and frustration, and on the belief that there is no horizon before us, and we only have to surrender and accept the crumbs that are offered to the Palestinians in Palestine, and to the rest of the peoples of the region in the issues that are still pending with the usurping entity, whether with Lebanon or Syria, for example.
So their bet was on forgetfulness, on fatigue, despair, frustration, and ultimately on surrender and acceptance. But what is happening is the exact opposite, thanks to the blessing of faith and jihad, the blessing of sacrifices and insight expressed by countries, forces, movements and peoples of the Axis of Resistance, this faith, this presence, this perseverance, this challenge, this hard work, made the results completely different.
Today, Al-Quds returns to be the target issue, and the main issue and the axis of all the Axis of Resistance. That is why this year the title or slogan “Al-Quds is the axis” was launched. Our axis, the growing Axis of Resistance, should in truth also be called “the Axis of Al-Quds”, because in fact, Al-Quds is the central point that unites these countries, peoples, movements, parties, resistance factions and all elites, whether in the Axis of Resistance or at the level of the peoples of the (Islamic) Nation.
Al-Quds today returns to the thought, awareness, emotion, feelings and conscience, but most importantly it also returns with force to the field, rather to all fields. For the sake of Al-Quds today, real armies, strong and powerful fighters are built, with great strength, their minds, eyes, hearts and souls are fixed to Al-Quds and are tied to it. Al-Quds returns today and it has a sword in Gaza, defending it as it happened last year in the Battle of the Sword of Al-Quds. In the past days and weeks of Ramadan, we witnessed how the Battle of Al-Quds was strongly present in the conscience of the Palestinian people and also in the mind of the enemy, the enemy’s calculations, the enemy’s decisions, and the enemy’s fear.
Al-Quds returns and today has an axis that gathers to create its strong and solid regional equation in order first to protect it, and secondly to liberate it, God willing. I am confirming this equation today, equation on which we are working to complete all its strong, solid and integrated elements, God willing.
Al-Quds and its people in Palestine return today, inside the territories occupied in 1948 and in Gaza, making epics that shake the entity, as happened in the past few days, and prove to this entity and its masters in the world that this proud, oppressed, steadfast, patient and Mujaheed Palestinian people cannot forget, cannot despair, and cannot make concessions or surrender, and he will never leave his land, no matter how crushing the daily pressures imposed on him, how difficult his life is, and how great his sacrifices are. In the end, the one who will have to leave is the (Zionist) occupier and the usurper.
Al-Quds, o brothers and sisters, is the responsibility of the entire (Islamic) Nation, and we in Hezbollah as part of this Nation consider ourselves in the front line, in the front line along with our dear brothers and honorable Mujahideen in the Palestinian resistance factions. We work from this position and bear all the consequences and pressures and we look forward to the day when Al-Quds will return to its people and to the Nation.
We know that the most important reason for what we are exposed to in Lebanon as well as to what countries and resistance movements in our region are subjected to, everyone who belongs to this line, to this axis, to this idea, to this origin, to this goal, the siege, sanctions and restrictions we are subjected to at the international and regional and Interior levels, the main goal of all this pressure is to force us to abandon Al-Quds and Palestine, to abandon the logic of Resistance and the culture of Resistance, its real goal is to push us all to surrender to the will of the United States of America and Israel to establish the existence of the usurping entity, and also to accept normalization in all forms of normalization with this entity by all countries in the region, and also accept the crumbs that are presented to the Palestinian people and the peoples of the region.
We consider that steadfastness here in the face of these restrictions, siege, terrorism and threats, is an essential part of the battle of Resistance from the battle of destiny, the future and the making of the future, and just as killing, assassination and wars have not brought us down, the siege, pressure, terrorism and defamation will not bring us down.
We and all the honorable people in this (Islamic) Nation have a date with Al-Quds, God willing, to pray in it (once it is Liberated). This is our covenant with Al-Quds, this is our covenant with our proud Palestinian people, and this is our covenant with all our dear martyrs who perished on the road to Al-Quds, men and women, young and old in all the Middle East, in Palestine and Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt and all the neighboring countries who suffered directly from the Israeli aggression and the existence of this entity. And this is our covenant with our great martyrs, with our leaders and our elders in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran and Yemen, foremost among them is the martyr of Al-Quds, the great and inspiring leader, Hajj Qassem Soleimani, may God Almighty be pleased with him, who spent his honorable life in the service of this goal, this path, and this Axis, and witnessed many of his jihad and sacrifices of this axis, and witnessed many of his victories, and was always eager to witness the great and decisive victory to come, God willing.
With the blessing of this pure blood, and with loyalty to it, we will complete our path no matter how great the sacrifices, threats, difficulties and dangers, and as we have passed all the previous harsh stages and moved from victory to victory, we, with the help of God Almighty, are standing on the threshold of the great, huge and final victory that we see very close, God willing.
And, God willing, we will continue together hand in hand and shoulder to shoulder of all the Resistance factions, all the Resistance movements, all the peoples of the Resistance, all the countries of the Resistance. We will break all chains, foil all conspiracies, all the daggers that try to stab us in our backs and in our chests will fall, and our Qibla (aim) and our real battle will be to create complete freedom for the sanctities, and Al-Quds will remain the title, goal and foundation, and it is the Axis.

Nasrallah: the Palestinian People is Unbreakable
Speech by Hezbollah Secretary General Sayed Hassan Nasrallah on April 11, 2022, about the internal situation in Lebanon.
[…] I must begin with Palestine as an introduction, to say that we must have the utmost deference, respect and pride in the heroism displayed by the Palestinian youth, men and women, in the heroic deeds of its children and old people, in their great faith in God and their cause, in their enormous courage and strength and determination that goes to the point of risking death to shape a dignified life for their people and their country, and hoping to liberate their holy places, the holy places of the entire (Islamic) Nation.
Likewise, we must have the utmost deference and respect for the families of the martyrs, the fathers, mothers and relatives, and their clear, strong, lucid and decisive stances, and for the endurance of this fighting and patient people despite a long history of massacres. These days we commemorate the Deir Yassin massacre, which took place in April 1948. Despite a long history of massacres and wars, the latest being the Battle of the Sword of Al-Quds (in May 2021), despite expulsion, oppression, exile, refugee and displacement camps, abandonment, stabbing in the back even by countries, regimes and organizations that were supposed to stand by the Palestinian people.
Israel killed 547 child during the 51 day war on Gaza. 68% of them were under 12 y/o, with 164 killed in drone strikes.
3,374 child was injured, including 1,000 permanently.
What is happening these days has quite grandiose implications and consequences with regard to the struggle against the (Israeli) enemy, the future of Palestine and the future of the temporary entity that is the usurping Israeli entity. Of course, one of the most important consequences and implications of what has happened in the last few days, implications of real strategic importance to me, is what we have been talking about for years, but in the last few days I have been reading statements by Israeli commentators, analysts and journalists who recognize this truth that we have been talking about for many years: it is completely illusory and wrong to bet on the despair of the Palestinian people, on the collapse of their will, on their renunciation and abandonment of Palestine, the Palestinian cause and the holy places. Since 1948, and even before 1948 and until today, this people inherits (its sacred cause) from one generation to the next, and the young men and women whose names we have heard and whose pictures we have seen on television, who belong to this new generation of Palestinians, all inherit the Resistance, the endurance, the cause, the jihad, the yearning for martyrdom and struggle, generation after generation.
If the Israelis imagine that the normalization of their relations with some Arab countries, the visits of some normalizing Arab officials to the temporary Zionist entity, if they imagine that this official abandonment and neglect of the Arab countries (towards the Palestinian cause) can lead the Palestinian people to abandon their cause and accept the crumbs offered to them, as they had hoped with the Deal of the Century, they are deluding themselves.
Today, thank God, Zionist commentators, analysts and writers themselves are beginning to state this truth, that despite all that has happened, Israel faces an invincible people, which it is impossible to subdue, to bring to its knees, to impose solutions on. There is no other way out than to respond to their demands, to their rights, even if it is only the minimum of their rights. This is what (leading) Israelis say. For (they recognize that) more confrontation can only bring (Israel) more humiliation and defeat, and that they will only find (in the Palestinians) more courage, endurance, faith, determination and readiness to persevere on this path until the end.
In any case, what is happening in and around Palestine requires that we dwell on it at length and talk about it in detail, which I do not have time to do (in this speech devoted to the Lebanese domestic situation), but we will have the opportunity to do so on the International Day of Al-Quds on the last Friday of Ramadan (on April 27, during which I will make, as usual, a long speech devoted exclusively to this issue), where we will be able to express our support and the support of the peoples of the (Islamic) Nation for the Palestinian cause. I call on the Muslim world in general and Lebanon in particular to participate massively in this Day. مرت انتفاضات كثيرة على فلسطين، وكثيرة هي موجات العمليات الفدائية التي امتدت لأسابيع، وفي مرات عديدة امتزجت الانتفاضات بالعمليات المقاومة، لكن السياق السياسي الدولي والإقليمي والفلسطيني والإسرائيلي لم يكن يسمح بالقول إنه العصر الفلسطيني.

للمرة الأولى في المواجهات التاريخية التي يخوضها الفلسطينيون يبدو أن القوة العسكرية للغرب خارج احتمالات التورط في أية حرب دفاعاً عن كيان الاحتلال، وأن أميركا وأوروبا لا تملكان سلاحاً لحروبهما المباشرة إلا سلاح العقوبات، وأن جرح أفغانستان لا يزال حياً وينزف فشلاً وخيبة ويعزّز قرار الابتعاد عن التورط في الحروب، وسلاح العقوبات لا يُخيف الفلسطينيين ولا يقيمون له حساباً وهم تحت حصار ما مثله حصار، وما يعنيهم أن الغرب الذي كانت جيوشه طرفاً في حروب فلسطين قد تمّ تحييدها من أية مواجهة مقبلة.

للمرة الأولى في حروب فلسطين تتجه أولويات الغرب نحو وجهات جغرافية واستراتيجية أخرى، وتفقد المنطقة التي تشكل فلسطين قلبها مكانة الأولوية التي احتلتها لعقود في السياسات الغربية، ويتزامن ذلك مع تراجع القدرة الغربية، واشتداد التنافس حول الأحجام والأدوار مع قوى عالمية صاعدة تتصدّرها روسيا والصين، في لحظة تاريخية نادرة.

للمرة الأولى يتحرر الفلسطينيون من عقدة الوهم بأنهم أضعف من إمساك مصيرهم بأيديهم، وبأن مصدر قوتهم هو من عمقهم العربي بجيوشه ونفطه وعلاقاته الدولية، فينفضون أيديهم من هذا الوهم، ويكتشفون ان هذا العمق العربي بهذا البعد قد صار عبئاً على قضيتهم مع مسارات التطبيع وصفقة القرن، ويكتشفون أن هناك عمقاً عربياً آخر تمثله حركات المقاومة خصوصاً في لبنان واليمن ستكون جاهزة لمساندة الفلسطينيين في أية حرب مقبلة، خصوصاً عندما تكون القدس عنواناً لها.

للمرة الأولى لا يملك الإسرائيليون فائض قوة يفرض معادلة الردع على الفلسطينيين، بل إن ما يحدث هو العكس، فقد أثبتت المقاومة الفلسطينية في معركة سيف القدس أنها تملك فائض قوة يمثل قدرة ردع تحمي العمق الفلسطيني في المناطق المحتلة.

للمرة الأولى تذوب طروحات التفاوض ويضمحل أصحابها وتخلو الساحة لخيار المواجهة، وتسقط القيادة السياسية التي روّجت للتفاوض في وحل التنسيق الأمني مع الاحتلال، بحيث يصير الفرز حاداً بين المعسكرين، مَن في ساحات المواجهة لا يستطيع أن يكون من جماعة السلطة، وهذا يطال فتح نفسها، التي تعود لساحة المواجهة تحت عنوان كتائب الأقصى.

للمرة الأولى لا يكون سقوط خط التفاوض سياسياً فقط بل استراتيجياً، فمع تقدم مكانة المستوطنين المتطرفين في مشهد الكيان السياسي يتقدّم موقع فلسطينيي الأراضي المحتلة عام 48 والقدس المشهد الفلسطيني، ويصير الصراع أشد جذرية يصعب إيجاد مناطق وسط فيه.

في المنطقة سقط العصر الأميركي من بوابة حرب العراق وسقط العصر الإسرائيلي من بوابة المقاومة في لبنان، وسقط العصر العثمانيّ الجديد من بوابة الحرب على سورية، وسقط العصر السعوديّ من بوابة حرب اليمن ليبزغ فجر العصر الفلسطينيّ.
عملية فدائية جديدة قام بها بطل من أبطال فلسطين الشهيد رعد حازم، في قلب أكبر مجمع استيطاني يشكل الثقل الاقتصادي ومركز الكيان الصهيوني، عملية هزّت الكيان وأسقطت هيبته ومنظومته الأمنية… وجعلت حكومة العدو في مهب الريح.. ودفعت القوات الخاصة الصهيونية للنزول إلى الميدان لمواجهة فدائي واحد نجح في تحويل تل أبيب إلى ساحة حرب وفوضى…https://www.al-binaa.com/archives/334432
بعد فشل أكثر من ألف شرطيّ تولوا البحث عن الفدائي الذي نجح في تنفيذ عمليته بقتل ثلاثة مستوطنين وجرح 14 بواسطة مسدس والتواري عن الأنظار لمدة 9 ساعات وفي نهاية المطاف اشتبك مع جنود الاحتلال قرب مسجد في يافا واستُشهد…
هذه العملية التي وقعت كالصاعقة على رؤوس المسؤولين الصهاينة والمستوطنين، عكست جملة من الدلالات الهامة التالية:
الدلالة الأولى، عجز الإجراءات الأمنية الصهيونية عن منع العمليات الفدائية في قلب الكيان، وهو الأمر الذي جعل المستوطنين يفقدون الثقة بقدرة أجهزتهم الأمنية على حمايتهم وتوفير الأمن والاستقرار لهم.. لقد كشف تواتر العمليات الفدائية في المناطق المحتلة عام 1948 أنّ هذه الأجهزة لا تملك ايّ معلومات أمنية تنذر بحصول مثل هذه العمليات، وتبيّن انّ هذه الأجهزة كانت تتوقع حدوث عمليات في القدس والضفة الغربية المحتلتين، ولهذا فوجئت وصدمت بحدوث العمليات في العمق الصهيونيّ، وأصيبت بالارتباك نتيجة فشلها الأمني…
الدلالة الثانية، إضافة الى الفشل والعجز الأمني الصهيوني، ظهر جلياً حجم هشاشة الكيان وعدم كفاءة قوات شرطته المدرّبة على مواجهة العمليات الفدائية، مما اضطرها إلى الاستعانة بوحدات خاصة من جيش الاحتلال، والتي بدورها أخفقت على مدى تسع ساعات من الليل في العثور على الفدائي منفذ العملية رعد حازم، الذي نجح في قطع مسافة طويلة وصولاً الى مدينة يافا المحتلة، متجاوزاً كلّ الحواجز الصهيونية التي انتشرت كالفطر في الطرقات والشوارع.. وعندما عرف الشاباك بمكان بوجود الفدائي رعد قرب مسجد في يافا لم يتمكن من اعتقاله، لأنّ الشهيد البطل سارع إلى فتح النار على جنود الاحتلال في المنطقة مواصلاً عمليته، قبل أن يسقط شهيداً برصاصهم..
الدلالة الثالثة، أثبت الفدائي رعد للمستوطنين الصهاينة بأنهم لا يستطيعون العيش على أرض فلسطين وينعمون بالأمن والاستقرار على حساب حقوق الشعب الفلسطينيّ في أرضه ووطنه، وأنّ جيشهم وشرطتهم وأجهزتهم الأمنية لا تستطيع حمايتهم من رصاص الفدائيين الفلسطينيين من أبناء فلسطين الذين يرفضون العيش بذلّ وهوان تحت الاحتلال، وقرّروا مواصلة الكفاح لتحرير أرضهم واستعادة حقوقهم المسلوبة منذ أكثر من سبعة عقود على احتلال أرضهم…
الدلالة الرابعة، برهن شباب فلسطين أنّ كلّ إجراءات القمع والإرهاب والتنكيل والاعتقالات الصهيونية لا يمكنها أن تمنعهم من مواصلة عمليّاتهم الفدائيّة، وأنهم يملكون الإرادة والإصرار والتصميم على مواصلة المقاومة جيلاً بعد جيل حتى تحرير فلسطين كلّ فلسطين، وانّ الاحتلال كلما زاد من ممارساته المتوحشة وارتكب الجرائم ضدّ الشعب الفلسطيني، فإنه يزيد في الوقت نفسه من تأجج مقاومة شباب فلسطين…
الدلالة الخامسة، أثبتت العمليات الفدائية الأخيرة انّ محاولات طمس القضية الفلسطينية وتجاهلها، والقفز فوقها من خلال إقامة العلاقات مع الكيان الصهيوني، وعقد اللقاءات التطبيعية مع المسؤولين الصهاينة، لن تنجح في تحقيق أهداف الصهاينة في شطب وتصفية قضية فلسطين…
إنّ العملية الفدائية الجديدة وما سبقها، أو سيتبعها من عمليات هي التي تبقي القضية حية وفي صدارة الأحداث، وتحبط كلّ المؤامرات والمخططات الصهيونية الأميركية والرجعية لتصفية قضية فلسطين.. وواهم مَن يعتقد أنه يستطيع إلغاء هذه الحقيقة، طالما هناك شعب حيّ يعيش على أرضه ويرفض الخنوع والاستسلام، وطالما انّ أبناء فلسطين جيلاً بعد جيل، يتربّون على حب فلسطين والاستعداد للمقاومة والشهادة في سبيل تحريرها…
As the repercussions of the self-sacrifice Tel Aviv operation continue to emerge, ‘Israeli’ daily ‘Israel Hayom’ reported that the Zionist military’s Special Forces are convinced that they caused a very dangerous security damage that amounts to failure, especially that the live broadcast in news bulletins after the ‘tough operation’ was hysterical, and perhaps historic.

An informed source, additionally, told the ‘Israeli’ newspaper that “There are soldiers in the army who don’t know what do the other units possess, they keep it as a secret, and suddenly you see everything live on TV.”
“The special observation unit, the Shabak, the equipment, the features of the Shaldag leaders and leaders of other units were simply disclosed in this chaos. The enemy is learning, and this requires that those units undergo quick transformations regarding their tools,” the source went on to warn.
Other Zionist military sources described the incident as a ‘failure.’
The sources advised that information security officers should have been summoned as well to make sure that no photos of the deployed units have been taken.
“We keep out mouths shut and we try not to share anything, then the media comes and exposes everything,” the source further lamented.
سارعت فصائل المقاومة الفلسطينية إلى مباركة عملية «بني براك» (أ ف ب )
جنين | في صفعة ثالثة خلال أسبوع، وضربة قاسية وغير متوقّعة، شهدت مستوطنة «بني براك» في قلب فلسطين المحتلّة، قتال شوارع حقيقياً، وعملية إطلاق نار أسفرت عن مقتل خمسة إسرائيليين، نفّذها فلسطيني قادم من جنين في الضفة، أعقبتها احتفالات فلسطينية واسعة، وسط إدانة السلطة الفلسطينية للعملية. وتشير التحقيقات الأوّلية الإسرائيلية إلى أن منفّذ الهجوم، الشهيد ضياء حمارشة، وصل إلى المكان بمركبة رمادية اللون من طراز «هوندا سيفك»، وترجّل منها، ثمّ بدأ عملية إطلاق النار باستخدام بندقية «M16» اشتراها بنفسه ولم يغتنمها، وليست مسروقة من مخازن جيش العدو (جرى تهريبها من الأردن أو مصر عبر تجار سلاح). وذكرت «القناة 13» العبرية، من جهتها، أن خلية شاركت في تنفيذ الهجوم، تضمّ مطلق النار المباشر وهو الشهيد حمارشة، وشاباً ثانياً أصيب بجروح وجرى اعتقاله، بينما تجري مطاردة شاب ثالث نجح في الانسحاب.
وتُظهر مقاطع فيديو، الشهيد وهو يُجهّز بندقيته ويسير بثبات ورباطة جأش، فيما يبدو أنه ليس مجرّد هاوٍ، بل محترف ويصيب أهدافه بدقّة، إذ لوحظ أنه يطلق الرصاص بشكل غير أوتوماتيكي، بل فردي، أي «طلقة طلقة» (وهو ما أكدته قناة «كان» العبرية، بإفادتها بأن المنفّذ أطلق 12 رصاصة فقط وقتل بها 5 أشخاص). وفي مشهد بدا أقرب إلى الأفلام، صرخ المنفّذ على مستوطن يقود مركبة «جيب» بالعبرية: «قف قف»، وأطلق طلقة واحدة فقط عليه فأرداه قتيلاً، وعندما توقّفت المركبة عن الحركة، تقدَّم نحو المستوطن وأطلّ عليه من النافذة ليتأكّد من مقتله. بعد ذلك، توجّه نحو اثنين من المستوطنين يجلسان أمام محلّ تجاري، فأطلق عليهما النار من مسافة صفر وقتلهما، ثمّ انتقل إلى زاوية أخرى وعاد مجدّداً إليهما ليتأكّد من مقتلهما. أمّا القتيلان الرابع والخامس فأحدهما حاخام إسرائيلي، والآخر من عناصر شرطة العدو، حيث دار اشتباك مسلّح بين الشرطيّ الذي ترجّل من دراجة نارية وبين المنفّذ، فقتل أحدهما الآخر. وفي مقطع فيديو آخر، تقول مستوطِنة إن المنفّذ كان يستقلّ مركبة مع شخص آخر، ثمّ ترجّل وطلب منها ومن مستوطِنة أخرى مع أطفالها الابتعاد عن المكان والرجوع إلى الخلف، ثمّ بدأ بإطلاق النار على مستوطنين آخرين.
إذاً، تَحقّق ما كان يخشاه العدو، وهو خروج عملية كبيرة من قلب جنين نحو الأراضي المحتلة عام 1948؛ إذ كانت تشير تقديرات الاحتلال، وحتى تقديرات المراقبين الفلسطينيين، إلى أن ظاهرة الاشتباك في جنين ستظلّ «محدودة محلّياً»؛ لافتقار المسلّحين هناك إلى التنظيم والعمل المنسّق والاحترافية كما في الانتفاضة الثانية، لكنّ عملية «بني براك» جاءت لتشعل ضوء إنذار جديد أمام منظومة الأمن الإسرائيلية. وفي إزاء ذلك، تسلّح الإسرائيليون ووسائل إعلامهم بـ«شُبهة داعش» لمحاولة مواساة أنفسهم والتخفيف من حدّة العمليات الأخيرة، مستندين إلى كون المنفّذين الثلاثة في الخضيرة وبئر السبع لديهم ميول فكرية إسلامية أقرب إلى التنظيم سابقاً، أو اعتُقلوا خلال ذروة نشاطه في سوريا. والظاهر أن العدو يحاول بهذا الربط تخويف الفلسطينيين في الداخل المحتلّ، ومنعهم من التعاطف أو تأييد الهجمات التي ينفّذها فلسطينيو الـ48، لكن تلك السردية «تلخبطت» سريعاً مع هجوم «بني براك» بعدما ظهر أن منفّذه من الضفة الغربية وأسير محرَّر.
شهدت غالبية مناطق الضفة الغربية، عقب العملية، احتفالات ومسيرات راجلة ومحمولة
وتزامنت العملية الأخيرة مع ذكرى «يوم الأرض»، كما سبقت بأيام قليلة حلول شهر رمضان، وهو ما يحمل دلالات معنوية كبيرة بالنسبة إلى الفلسطينيين. كذلك، يعيد الهجوم مشاهد انتفاضة الأقصى إلى الأذهان، حيث كان الاستشهاديون ينفّذون عملياتهم داخل إسرائيل بالبنادق، لكن مع فارق أنه لم تكن كاميرات المراقبة ووسائل التواصل الاجتماعي منتشرة آنذاك كما اليوم. ولم يشهد الإسرائيليون مثل هذه الضربات في قلب الكيان منذ الانتفاضة الثانية، إذ وقعت ثلاث هجمات خلال 8 أيام، أسفرت عن مقتل 11 إسرائيلياً وإصابة 8 آخرين. وأثار ذلك موجة هلع إسرائيلية، دفعت محرِّر الشؤون الفلسطينية في صحيفة «يديعوت أحرونوت»، أليؤور ليفي، إلى القول إنه «قبل 20 عاماً، كُنّا نخشى الصعود في الحافلات، واليوم أصبحنا نخاف المشي في الشوارع… هذه العملية الثالثة خلال أسبوع»، بينما اعتبر الصحافي في «القناة 13» العبرية، نداف أيال، أن ما يجري «فشل كبير للمنظومة الأمنية»، على اعتبار أن العمليات الثلاث الأخيرة نفّذها شبّان معروفون لدى جهاز «الشاباك» ولديهم سجل أمني سابق. وبينما هاجم مستوطنون وزير الأمن الداخلي، عومر بارليف، في مكان هجوم «بني براك»، أقرّ وزير جيش العدو الأسبق، شاؤول موفاز، بأن «المستوطنين اليوم يسترجعون مشاعر ما قبل 20 عاماً بأنه لا أمن في شوارع إسرائيل». في المقابل، شهدت غالبية مناطق الضفة الغربية، عقب العملية، احتفالات ومسيرات راجلة ومحمولة، فيما وزّع عشرات الشبّان الحلوى على المارّة في الضفة وقطاع غزة، كما انطلقت مسيرات مماثلة في عدد من المخيمات الفلسطينية في لبنان والشتات. وفي جنين تحديداً، لم تقتصر تداعيات الهجوم على ذلك، بل تَجهّز عشرات الشبّان الفلسطينيين للمواجهات وصدّ الاقتحام المحتمل لجيش العدو، إذ أغلقوا شوارع بلدة يعبد (التي يتحدّر منها الشهيد حمارشة) بالإطارات المطاطية، لتندلع بعد ساعات مواجهات عنيفة مع اقتحام جيش الاحتلال منزل الشهيد، واعتقاله أحد أقاربه، وهو القيادي في حركة «حماس»، عدنان حمارشة، وأخذ قياسات هندسية لمنزل العائلة تمهيداً لهدمه، توازياً وإجراء الجنود تحقيقاً ميدانياً مع والد ضياء وعائلته. أيضاً، ارتفع عدد نقاط المواجهة مع جيش العدو والمستوطنين في الضفة، حيث سُجّلت 7 نقاط مواجهة في ساعة واحدة، أبرزها إطلاق مقاومين النار تجاه البؤرة الاستيطانية «أفيتار» في جبل صبيح في بلدة بيتا جنوب نابلس. وعلى إثر تلك التطوّرات، قرّر جيش الاحتلال تعزيز قوّاته العسكرية في الضفة بأربع كتائب إضافية، بعد يوم من استقدامه أربع كتائب أخرى، كما شنّ حملة اعتقالات عشوائية طاولت عمالاً فلسطينيين قرب مكان العملية. وبحسب مصادر «الأخبار»، فقد بدأ العدو تنفيذ حملة أمنية تستهدف سدّ ثغرات الجدار الفاصل بين الضفة والأراضي المحتلة عام 48، حيث عزّز من انتشار جنوده على مختلف هذه الثغرات، ونصب كمائن قرب عدّة محاور من الجدار في قرى فلسطينية مختلفة (أفيد مساء أمس بأن الشهيد كان اجتاز فتحة في الجدار بسيارة إسرائيلية مسروقة، وغيّر لوحة تسجيلها).
من جهتها، سارعت فصائل المقاومة الفلسطينية إلى مباركة عملية «بني براك»، واعتبارها رداً طبيعياً على الجرائم الإسرائيلية، بينما كشفت إذاعة جيش العدو أن مكتب وزير الجيش، بيني غانتس، بعث برسالة إلى مكتب رئيس السلطة الفلسطينية، محمود عباس، يتوقّع فيها منه أن يدين الهجوم، وهذا ما حدث فعلاً، إذ سارع عباس إلى استنكار العملية التي استهدفت مَن وصفهم بـ«المدنيين»، معتبراً أن «قتل المدنيين الفلسطينيين والإسرائيليين لا يؤدي إلّا إلى مزيد من تدهور الأوضاع، ونسعى جميعاً للاستقرار». هكذا، تُعيد عملية «بني براك» بوصلة الفلسطينيين مجدّداً نحو العدو الإسرائيلي، وتكشف الفجوة الكبيرة بين نهج «أبو مازن» ونهج المقاومة الذي يتبنّاه الفلسطينيون، كما وتُسخّن الأوضاع الميدانية أكثر، إذ إن تداعياتها ستقود إلى تزخيم عمليات إطلاق النار تجاه جيش العدو في جنين مجدداً، بسبب نيّة الأخير هدم منزل عائلة الشهيد حمارشة، فيما يتخوّف محلّلون إسرائيليون من أن يتّخذ شبّان آخرون من ضياء قدوة لتنفيذ سلسلة هجمات جديدة في الأيام والأسابيع المقبلة، خصوصاً أن السياق التاريخي يشي بأن العملية الناجحة دائماً ما تولّد عمليات أخرى مماثلة. ويأتي الحديث عن كلّ هذه السيناريوات في ظلّ استمرار تهديد فصائل المقاومة بالتصعيد، إذا ما أقدم العدو على «حماقات» واعتداءات أكبر على المسجد الأقصى، في حين تشير المعطيات إلى أن شهر رمضان سيكون ملتهباً هذا العام، على رغم هدوء «جبهة القدس» نسبياً.
ضياء حمارشة… من لم يَبِع أبداً
منفذ عملية «بني باراك» هو الشهيد ضياء حمارشة (27 عاماً)، من بلدة يعبد جنوب جنين. اعتُقل لمدّة نصف عام في عام 2013، بتهمة حيازة أسلحة وذخيرة بغرض الإتجار فيها. وبحسب معلومات «الأخبار»، فإن الشهيد عاش داخل أقسام حركة «فتح» آنذاك، وبعد خروجه تأثّر فكرياً بحركة «الجهاد الإسلامي»، وتحديداً جناحها العسكري. وللشهيد مهنّد الحلبي مكانة خاصة عند حمارشة، إذ كنّى الأخير نفسه بـ«أبو مهند»، ووضع صورة الحلبي كغلاف لصفحته الشخصية على «فايسبوك»، بينما وضع كـ«بروفايل» صورته في القدس بخلفيّة المسجد الأقصى. وعبر صفحته هذه، هاجم ضياء خيار التسوية والمفاوضات مع العدو، حيث كتب: «من باع أراضي الـ48 والـ67 ما رح تفرق معه يبيع باقي الأرض»، وانتقد فساد بعض المسؤولين وتفريطهم بالوطن، قائلاً: «في ناس قدمت أولادها للوطن، وفي ناس قدمت الوطن لأولادها».
«تعمود (قف)»! بهذه الكلمة توجّه الشهيد ضياء حمارشة (27 عاماً) إلى سائق سيارة إسرائيلي، آمراً إياه بالتوقّف، قبل أن يعاجله برصاصة واحدة في رأسه، ومن ثمّ يقترب منه، ويتأكّد من مقتله ليتابع عمليته «الفدائية»، التي قُتل فيها خمسة إسرائيليين، أحدهم من عناصر شرطة العدو، في منطقتَين مختلفتَين في «بني براك» بالقرب من تل أبيب، مساء أمس. وبحسب وسائل إعلام العدو، فإن فلسطينيَين آخرين شاركا في العملية، تمّ اعتقال واحد منهما، بينما كان يجري البحث عن الثاني
مع هجوم «بني براك» أمس، يكون المشهد الفلسطيني أمام ثالث عملية نوعيّة في غضون أسبوع واحد؛ أوّلها في بئر السبع الأسبوع الفائت، وثانيها في الخضيرة أول من أمس، وآخرها قرب تل أبيب أمس. وخلّفت هذه العمليات مجتمعة، 11 قتيلاً إسرائيلياً، وعدداً من الجرحى بينهم مَن هم في حال الخطر، تاركةً العدو وأجهزته الأمنية في حالة من الصدمة والضياع، لاسيما وأن «رادار» جهاز «الشاباك» لم ينجح في كشف أو إحباط أيّ من العمليات الثلاث. وانهال مسؤولون أمنيون سابقون وحاليون في الكيان، بانتقادات شديدة على أداء الجهاز الذي ما فتئ يحذّر منذ أكثر من شهر من «التصعيد» المُحتمل في شهر رمضان وقبيله، وانعكست تحذيراته في أكثر من خطوة، شملت لقاءات على مختلف المستويات بين مثلث رام الله ـــ عمّان ـــ تل أبيب، لكن من دون أيّ نتيجة كما يبدو، حيث تمّت العمليات الفدائية بنجاح، سواءً تلك التي نفّذها أبناء المنطقة المحتلة عام 1948، أو عملية أمس التي نفّذتها – كما يبدو – خلية قادمة من الضفة الغربية.
الصدمة الكبرى لدى قادة الأجهزة الأمنية الإسرائيلية أمس، مردّها تمكّن الشهيد من تنفيذ العملية، على رغم أن أجهزة العدو رفعت منذ أول من أمس حالة التأهّب في صفوف قواتها، وشنّت حملات اعتقال مختلفة طاولت «مشتبهين ومحتملين لتنفيذ عمليات»، في أكثر من منطقة في فلسطين، بينها أم الفحم وسخنين، انطلاقاً من توقّعات «الشاباك» بأن العملية المقبلة سينفّذها فلسطينيون من هذه المناطق. لكن الشهيد حمارشة، إبن قرية يعبد في قضاء جنين شمالي الضفة الغربية المحتلة، سواء وحده أو مع شركاء له، استطاع وسط كلّ إجراءات العدو، الدخول إلى المناطق المحتلة عام 1948، التي يحدّها جدار الفصل العنصري، ومن دون تصريح مسبق. وطبقاً لتقديرات مؤسسات العدو، التي نقلها المحلل العسكري ألون بن ديفيد، فإن الخلية تنتمي إلى حركة «الجهاد الإسلامي»، بينما جرى الحديث عن انتماء الشهيد حمارشة الى «كتائب شهداء الأقصى»، الجناح العسكري لحركة «فتح».
وفي التفاصيل، أشارت «القناة 12» العبرية إلى أن الشهيد المنفّذ استقلّ دراجة نارية، وأطلق النار في ثلاث مناطق مختلفة، بينها شارع «بياليك» حيث سقط ثلاثة قتلى، قبل أن يتّجه إلى شارع «هرتسل» في منطقة «بني باراك» مطلقاً النار، مُوقعاً قتيلَين إسرائيليين آخرين بينهما ضابط في شرطة العدو، ثمّ يصل أخيراً إلى شارع «مجاديم»، حيث أطلق النار مجدداً قبل استشهاده، علماً أن أشرطة مصوّرة من أكثر من منطقة أظهرته وهو يتنقّل راجلاً وليس على درّاجة نارية. وتداول نشاطون إسرائيليون وفلسطينيون، على منصّات التواصل الاجتماعي، مقطع فيديو تظهر فيه مستوطنة إسرائيلية من مكان تنفيذ العملية، تتحدّث عن أن «المنفّذ طلب منها مع نسوة أخريات الابتعاد عن المكان»، وأنه «على ما يبدو كان لا يريد قتل نساء».
باركت فصائل المقاومة الفلسطينية العملية «البطولية» بينما دانها محمود عباس
في غضون ذلك، أجرى وزير أمن العدو، بني غانتس، تقييماً للوضع، بمشاركة رئيس الأركان، أفيف كوخافي، ومنسّق عمليات الحكومة في المناطق المحتلة، غسان عليان، ورئيس «الشاباك»، رونن بار، ورئيس شعبة الاستخبارات العسكرية، ورئيس شعبة العمليات. وإثر العملية، أمر المفتش العام للشرطة، يعكوف (كوبي) شبتاي، برفع حالة تأهّب الشرطة الإسرائيلية إلى المستوى الأقصى، واستدعاء آلاف القوات في تعزيز لمهام تأمين المؤسسات والمحطات المركزية والأماكن المزدحمة. وهذه هي المرّة الأولى التي يأمر فيها بذلك منذ عملية «سيف القدس»، وهبّة الأقصى في أيار من العام الفائت. كما أوعز رئيس هيئة أركان الجيش، أفيف كوخافي، بتعزيز فرقة الضفة بأربع كتائب مقاتلة أخرى، ليصل مجموع التعزيزات الأخيرة إلى ثماني كتائب. أيضاً، من المُزمع أن ينعقد المجلس الوزاري المصغّر للشؤون الأمنية والسياسية (الكابينيت) اليوم، لمناقشة موجة العمليات الأخيرة، طبقاً لما نقله المراسل العسكري، باراك رافيد. كما أعلنت سلطات العدو وقف العمل بتصريحات العمل الممنوحة للفلسطينيين في الضفة الغربية، للعمل داخل الأراضي المحتلة عام 1948.
ومن جهتها، باركت فصائل المقاومة الفلسطينية المختلفة، العملية «البطولية»، واعتبرتها رداً طبيعياً على إجراءات العدو الاستيطانية والظالمة. كما خرجت عدّة مسيرات شعبية في الضفة الغربية، وتحديداً في بلدة يعبد ومدينة جنين، تأييداً للعملية الفدائية، وتأكيداً على خيار المقاومة. أما رئيس سلطة رام الله، محمود عباس، فقد دان الهجوم، وأكد في بيانه أن «مقتل مواطنين إسرائيليين وفلسطينيين لن يؤدّي سوى إلى تدهور الوضع، حيث إن الجميع معنيٌّ بدعم الازدهار، وبشكل أساسي على خلفية حلول رمضان والأعياد اليهودية والمسيحية المرتقبة». وحذّر عباس «من استغلال هذا الحدث لتبرير الاعتداء على فلسطينيين من قبل مستوطنين». وكان كشف أكثر من تقرير إسرائيلي، في وقت سابق، عن نيّة إسرائيلية لتأجيج التوتّرات الأمنية في الأراضي المحتلة عام 1948، عبر استغلال هذه الهجمات للزجّ بالتنظيمات الاستيطانية اليهودية، وخصوصاً في مدن الساحل الفلسطيني، في مواجهة الفلسطينيين هناك.
وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية تتحدّث عن سقوط قتلى وجرحى إسرائيليين في عملية إطلاق نار في “بني براك” في “تل أبيب”.
أفادت مراسلة الميادين في القدس المحتلة، اليوم الثلاثاء، بسقوط 5 قتلى، بينهم شرطي للاحتلال الإسرائيلي، في عملية إطلاق نار في “بني براك” في “تل أبيب”.
وأكدت مراسلتنا أن عملية إطلاق النار وقعت في 3 نقاط في منطقة “بني براك” التي “يقطنها مستوطنون متشددون”، مشيرةً إلى أن المرحلة “الحالية تشهد موجة من التحريض العنصري الإسرائيلي ضد الفلسطينيين”.
وأعلنت وسائل الإعلام الإسرائيلية سقوط 5 قتلى في عملية إطلاق نار من مسلّح على دراجة نارية في “بني براك” شرقي “تل أبيب”.
وبحسب موقع “0404” الإسرائيلي، فإن إطلاق النار وقع في أماكن متعددة في “بني براك” في “تل أبيب”، وأن “القوات الطبية تعالج الجرحى، بينما جراح بعضهم خطيرة”.

وأعلنت شرطة الاحتلال “حالة الطوارئ ومنع التجول الشامل في شوارع تل أبيب”.
كذلك، “سادت أجواء من الخوف والهلع في صفوف المستوطنين”. ووفقاً للإعلام الإسرائيلي، فإن “منفذ عملية بني براك من سكان الضفة الغربية، وأطلق النار في ثلاثة أماكن”.
ومنفّذ العملية الذي استشهِد، هو الفلسطيني ضياء حمارشة (26 عاماً)، من يعبد في جنين في الضفة الغربية، وهو أسير محرَّر.
ونقلت وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية أنه “في الساعة القريبة المقبلة سيُجري رئيس الحكومة ووزير الأمن ورؤساء المؤسسة الأمنية مشاورات أمنية بعد عملية بني براك”.

والأحد الماضي، قتل إسرائيليين اثنين، وأصيب 3 من عناصر شرطة الاحتلال، في إطلاق نار بمدينة الخضيرة،فيما استشهد منفذا العملية.
وشنت شرطة الاحتلال حملة اعتقالات في مدينة أم الفحم ومنطقة وادي عارة، وسخنين والناصرة والطيبة، عقب عملية الخضيرة التي أسفرت عن مقتل شرطيين من قوات الاحتلال، وإصابة 10 آخرين.
وفي 22 آذار/مارس الجاري، قتل 4 مستوطنين إسرائيليين في عمليتَيْ دهس وطعن في بئر السبع، ونقلت حينها “القناة الـ12” الإسرائيلية، عن مصدرٍ سياسي قوله: “نأمل أن لا تكون عملية بئر السبع هي براعم ما نتوقعه في شهر رمضان”.

The attack in Al-Khudaira that took the lives of two Israeli police members and injured four others took place “at the heart of ‘Israel,'” Israeli media said Sunday, adding that it is unlike any of its predecessors.
Israeli Channel 13 said the attack carried out by two Palestinians from the ’48 occupied territories had harsh results, stressing that the Palestinians were experienced when it came to using arms.
“The Al-Khudaira attack has a natural adverse effect on the feeling of security for Israelis, as it is something that has not happened in years,” the Israeli channel said.
They also claimed that the attack was thoroughly planned, and it was far from being an act carried out by just one person.
Al Mayadeen correspondent reported Sunday that a shooting took place in Al-Khudaira, Haifa, occupied Palestine, adding that two of those wounded were in critical condition.
According to Israeli media, the foreign ministers of the Arab states participating in the Al-Naqab summit in occupied Palestine, alongside their Israeli and US counterparts, rushed to denounce the shooting.
Unprecedented blows to Israeli security…and fears of expanding operations

ومن دون الدخول في نقاشٍ حول وجاهة نظر من قال بفكرة القرار الفلسطيني المستقل، قامت بعد ذلك منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية، “الممثل الشرعي والوحيد” للشعب الفلسطيني، بالتوقيع على أوسلو، معترفةً بالكيان الغاصب، ومتنازلةً عن 87% من الأراضي العربية الفلسطينية المحتلة، وتاركةً في مهب الريح مصير ذاك الجزء من الشعب الفلسطيني الذي هُجِّر من دياره في العام 1948، وهي تنازلاتٌ ما كان ليجرؤ النظام الرسمي العربي على تقديمها، لتتوالى بعد ذلك حفلات الاعتراف العربية الرسمية بالكيان الغاصب، ولسان حالهم يقول: لن نكون ملكيين أكثر من الملك.
وفي خضمّ هذا كلّه، كانت مساعي الهيمنة على قرار منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية مستمرةً من قبل حركة “فتح”، وكانت تُحقِّق تقدماً، لتُختزَل منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية في فصيلٍ فلسطينيٍ واحدٍ بدلاً من أن تكون ممثلاً للكلِّ الفلسطيني.
وفي إثر دخول منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية مرحلة أوسلو – المقيتة الذكر – أُنشئت سلطة الحكم الذاتي المسماة السلطة الفلسطينية، ليدخل الوضع الفلسطيني مرحلة أخرى من الانحدار، حتى وصلنا إلى أن يتآمر على أبو عمار، زعيم حركة “فتح” ومؤسّسها، بعضٌ من بطانته، كي يغتاله الإسرائيلي بالسمّ، في جريمة اغتيالٍ تجاهلتها السلطة، مبرّئةً بذلك الإسرائيلي منها.
بعدها، تولى محمود عباس رئاسة السلطة الفلسطينية، ليبدأ باختزال كلٍّ من منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية وحركة “فتح” ذاتها بسلطة أوسلو. وقد نجح في ذلك نجاحاً تحسده عليه كل الأنظمة العربية! فقد أجهز على ما كان قد بقي من منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية، وحوَّله فعلياً إلى مجرد اسمٍ ليس له كيانٌ حقيقيٌ في أرض الواقع، يستحضره كختمٍ متى احتاج إليه.
ليس هذا فحسب، فقد نجح عباس في الانحدار بسلطة أوسلو إلى دركٍ تفوَّق فيه على فصائل السلام وروابط القرى مجتمعين، فما معنى أن يصير التخابر مع العدو من أجل حراسة المستوطنات في الضفة، وتأمين المغتصَبات في فلسطين 48، والسهر على أمن قُطعان المستوطنين فيهما وراحتهم، واجباً “مقدَّساً” عند محمود عباس وسلطة أوسلو؟
واليوم، جاء اجتماع المجلس المركزي الفلسطيني الأخير الذي عُقِد في 6 شباط/فبراير 2022، ليشكّل سقطةً جديدةً في مسار هذا التدهور المستمر، فطامة الشعب الفلسطيني لا تنحصر في إصرار عباس على عقد اجتماع المركزي فحسب، رغم مقاطعة الأغلبية الفلسطينية له، إذ قاطعه كلٌ من حركتي “حماس” و”الجهاد الإسلامي” و”الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين”، إضافةً إلى عدم رضا أجنحةٍ من حركة “فتح” ذاتها، بل كانت الطامة الكبرى في المغزى من عقد هذا الاجتماع، وفي مخرجاته التي كانت معروفةً مسبقاً.
يَخشَى الكيان الصهيوني على استقرار سلطة أوسلو بعد غياب عباس، بسبب التجاذبات الحادة في أوساط حركة “فتح”، ولا سيّما بعد فقدان السلطة وفريق التنسيق الأمني فيها الكثير من شعبيتهما عقب معركة “سيف القدس”، وبسبب تغول السلطة في التعاون مع الاحتلال ضد المقاومين الفلسطينيين ومصالح الشعب الفلسطيني، ففي استمرار التنسيق الأمني مع الكيان الصهيوني مصلحةٌ عليا للاحتلال وحفظٌ لأمن المستوطنات والمستوطنين.
وقد جاء اجتماع المركزي ليُرتِّب مرحلة ما بعد محمود عباس، وليُسهِّل وصول رموز التعاون مع الاحتلال – على شاكلة ماجد فرج وحسين الشيخ – إلى قمَّة الهرم في سلطة أوسلو بعد غيابه. حصل كل هذا برضا الاحتلال ومباركته، إذ عُيَّن حسين الشيخ، الأكثر التزاماً بنهج التنسيق الأمني، في منصب أمين سر اللجنة التنفيذية، ما يمهد الطريق أمامه لرئاسة سلطة أوسلو مستقبلاً. وهكذا، وصلنا إلى اختزال سلطة أوسلو أيضاً بفريق التنسيق الأمني، وتم ترتيب القيادة لمرحلة ما بعد محمود عباس برضا الاحتلال ومباركته!
لكن ما غاب عن حسابات الصهاينة في رهانهم على مجموعة التنسيق الأمني هو وجود شعبٍ فلسطينيٍ حيّ ضاق ذرعاً بسلطةٍ باتت نسخةً مكررةً من جيش “لحد” بصورةٍ مفضوحةٍ. ولا أدلّ على وصول الشارع الفلسطيني إلى هذه الحالة إلا عمليات إطلاق النار التي قام بها مؤخراً مقاومون من كتائب شهداء الأقصى التابعة لحركة “فتح” ذاتها، ناهيك بفصائل المقاومة الفلسطينية المتمسكة بخيار المقاومة في الأساس.
وكان البيان المشترك الَّذي صدر عقب اجتماع المجلس المركزي عن حركتي “حماس” و”الجهاد الإسلامي” و”الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين”، والذي رفض الاعتراف بشرعية انعقاد المجلس المركزي وقراراته، ودعا إلى تشكيل قيادة موحدة للمقاومة الشعبية، مؤشراً على شكل المرحلة القادمة.
وغاب كذلك عن حسابات الصهاينة تبدُل أحوال الإقليم، واختلال موازين القوى فيه لمصلحة حركات المقاومة العربية والإسلامية في عدة ساحاتٍ، وتراجع السطوة الأميركية في الإقليم والعالم عموماً، ما يشكِّل رافعةً لحركات المقاومة في الداخل الفلسطيني، ويجعل الرهان الإسرائيلي على استمرار سلطة أوسلو بما وصلت إليه رهاناً خاسراً.

On Tuesday, February 1, London-based international human rights group Amnesty International (AI) released an extraordinary report, which labels Israel an ‘apartheid state’. The report calls for Israel to be held accountable for its practices against Palestinians.
The 280-page document, entitled ‘Israel’s Apartheid Against Palestinians: Cruel System of Domination and Crime Against Humanity’, outlines how the Israeli state segregates and controls Palestinians in order to maintain Jewish hegemony.
Though to be fully appreciated, the AI document must be read in its entirety, below are the top ten points raised by the international human rights group.
1. What is Apartheid?
After defining “apartheid” as “a violation of public international law, a grave violation of internationally protected human rights and a crime against humanity under international criminal law”, Amnesty, in its report, describes Israel’s “intent to oppress and dominate Palestinians:
“Since its establishment in 1948, Israel has pursued an explicit policy of establishing and maintaining a Jewish demographic hegemony and maximizing its control over land to benefit Jewish Israelis while minimizing the number of Palestinians and restricting their rights and obstructing their ability to challenge this dispossession.”
2. Geographic Scope
According to Amnesty, the system of segregation “extended beyond the (so-called) Green Line to the West Bank and Gaza Strip, which (Israel) has occupied” in 1967.
“Today, all territories controlled by Israel continue to be administered with the purpose of benefiting Jewish Israelis to the detriment of Palestinians, while Palestinian refugees continue to be excluded.”
“Although Israel’s system of apartheid manifests itself in different ways in the various areas under its effective control,” the report reads, “it consistently has the same purpose of oppressing and dominating Palestinians for the benefit of Jewish Israelis, who are privileged under Israeli civil law regardless of where they reside.”
3. Treatment of Palestinians
Israel should be labeled an apartheid state because “Palestinians are treated by the Israeli state differently based on its consideration of them as having a racialized non-Jewish, Arab status”.
Starting in 1948, Israel pursued a policy of territorial fragmentation and legal segregation, Amnesty said in its report.
“(Israel) chose to coerce Palestinians into enclaves within the State of Israel and, following their military occupation in 1967, the West Bank and Gaza Strip. They have appropriated the vast majority of Palestinians’ land and natural resources. They have introduced laws, policies and practices that systematically and cruelly discriminate against Palestinians, leaving them fragmented geographically and politically, in a constant state of fear and insecurity, and often impoverished.”
“Meanwhile, Israel’s leaders have opted to systemically privilege Jewish citizens in law and in practice through the distribution of land and resources, resulting in their relative wealth and well-being at the expense of Palestinians. They have steadily expanded Jewish settlements on occupied Palestinian territory in violation of international law,” the report adds.
5. Legal Segregation
Amnesty describes the way “Israel has used military rule as a key tool to establish its system of oppression and domination over Palestinians across both sides of the Green Line, applying it over different groups of Palestinians in Israel and the OPT almost continuously since 1948”.
“Israel maintains its system of fragmentation and segregation through different legal regimes that ensure the denial of nationality and status to Palestinians, violate their right to family unification and return to their country and their homes, and severely restrict freedom of movement based on legal status.”
6. Restrictions of Movement and Apartheid Wall
Amnesty denounces the closure system imposed on Palestinians within the Occupied Territories and between the OPT and Israel, “gradually subjecting millions of Palestinians who live in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and Gaza Strip to ever more stringent restrictions on movement based on their legal status. These restrictions are another tool through which Israel segregates Palestinians into separate enclaves, isolates them from each other and the world, and ultimately enforces its domination.”
Moreover, the report highlights how “the 700km fence/wall, which Israel continues building mostly illegally on Palestinian land inside the occupied West Bank, has isolated 38 Palestinian localities in the West Bank (…) and has trapped them in enclaves known as ‘seam zones’”.
7. Political Rights
According to Amnesty, “Israel’s version of democracy overwhelmingly privileges political participation by Jewish Israelis.”
“Limitations on the right of Palestinian citizens of Israel to participate in elections are accompanied by other infringements of their civil and political rights that limit the extent to which they can participate in the political and social life of Israel. This has included racialized policing of protests, mass arbitrary arrests and the use of unlawful force against protesters during demonstrations against Israeli repression in both Israel and the OPT.”
8. Dispossession of Palestinian Land
Amnesty illustrates how, since its creation on the ruins of Palestinian towns and villages, “the Israeli state has enforced massive and cruel land seizures to dispossess and exclude Palestinians from their land and homes.”
Suffice it to say, “in 1948, Jewish individuals and institutions owned around 6.5% of Mandate Palestine, while Palestinians owned about 90% of the privately owned land there. Within just over 70 years the situation has been reversed.”
Amnesty also mentions Israeli laws and regulations currently implemented by Israeli authorities to carry out demolitions of Palestinian property in East Jerusalem, including the Absentees’ Property Law of 1950 and the Administrative Matters Law.
“In Israel and East Jerusalem, (the Israeli government) transferred from the state to Jewish national organizations and institutions, many of which serve Jews only, while the legal title of the land remained in the state’s name.”
9. Crimes against Humanity
Amnesty’s report analyzes three major categories of crimes against humanity, that’s to say, the “inhuman and inhumane acts as proscribed, respectively, by the Apartheid Convention and the Rome Statute”.
First, it condemns the forcible transfer of Palestinians, explaining that, “since 1948, Israel has demolished tens of thousands of Palestinian homes and other properties across all areas under its jurisdiction and effective control.”
Second, the report addresses the issues of administrative detention, torture and other ill-treatment.
“Israel’s systematic use (of the administrative detention) against Palestinians indicates that it is used to persecute Palestinians, rather than as an extraordinary and selective security measure.”
The report also illustrates how “Israeli courts have admitted evidence obtained through torture of Palestinians, accepting the justification of ‘necessity’. Prompt, thorough and impartial investigations by Israeli authorities into allegations by Palestinians that they have been tortured are extremely rare, effectively giving state endorsement to the crime of torture.”
Third, Amnesty strongly condemns Israel’s unlawful killings and injuries, which were “perpetrated outside the context of armed conflict during Israeli law enforcement activities in the OPT, including during the suppression of protests, arrest raids, when enforcing travel and movement restrictions, and conducting house and search operations.”
10. Recommendations
Amnesty states in its report that “dismantling this cruel system of apartheid is essential for the millions of Palestinians who continue to live in Israel and the OPT, as well as for the return of Palestinian refugees who remain displaced in neighbouring countries”.
Also, it urges the need for “the international community to urgently and drastically change its approach to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and recognize the full extent of the crimes that Israel perpetrates against the Palestinian people.”
Amnesty directly calls on “the USA, the European Union and its member states and the UK” to “recognize that Israel is committing the crime of apartheid and other international crimes, and use all political and diplomatic tools to ensure Israeli authorities implement the recommendations outlined in this report and review any cooperation and activities with Israel to ensure that these do not contribute to maintaining the system of apartheid”.
Finally, Amnesty calls on the International Criminal Court (ICC) “to consider the applicability of the crime against humanity of apartheid within its current formal investigation,” and on the United Nations Security Council to “impose targeted sanctions, such as asset freezes, against Israeli officials most implicated in the crime of apartheid, and a comprehensive arms embargo on Israel.”

During the war on Gaza last May, “Israel’s” Shin Bet security service admitted using a tracking system to send threatening messages to Palestinians throughout occupied Palestine.

Israeli media reported Thursday that “Israel’s” Shin Bet security service admitted to using its tracking system to send threatening messages to Palestinians in both the occupied ’48 territories and the occupied West Bank last May during the war on Gaza.
According to Haaretz, the service confessed that the messages were sent to persons who were not accused of any wrongdoing and that the remarks were “inappropriately phrased”. It promised to improve its protocols on the subject.
During the war in May, thousands of occupied Al-Quds Palestinians and Palestinians from the occupied ’48 territories received SMS messages.
The text read, “You have been identified as someone who took part in violent acts at the Al-Aqsa Mosque. We will settle the score.” The text included a signature from the Israeli intelligence service.
Many of those who received the texts reported they were not in the vicinity of Al-Quds or Al-Aqsa Mosque at the time.
Days after the messages were issued, the Association for Civil Rights in “Israel” and the non-profit Adalah petitioned the attorney-general for clarification.
The Association for Civil Rights in “Israel” wrote that “sending texts messages to worshipers during prayer just to let them know they’re under surveillance in order to threaten or deter them is illegal, which exceeds the Shin Bet’s authority.”
The Justice Ministry answered on behalf of the Shin Bet eight months after the accusations, claiming that the purpose was to “thwart illegal activity meant to harm state security.” It did, however, acknowledge that the Shin Bet committed an “error in how the action was executed.”
Inside the 1948 borders of the Israeli occupation, Palestinians are anything but ‘ordinary citizens’, and anger is rising against Israeli ploys to criminalize their communities
From the first moments after the May 2021 Sword of Jerusalem (Saif Al-Quds) battle subsided, Israeli anger began to be directed at Palestinians inside the territories occupied in 1948.
These are the Palestinian Muslims and Christians who, for better or worse, remained within Palestine after the 1948 unilateral declaration of the state of Israel, and are referred to as Israeli-Arabs, or more popularly today, as ’48 Palestinians.
For Israelis, nothing was more shocking than ’48 Palestinians joining the multi-front fight last May, triggered by Israel’s attempt to evict six families from their homes in Sheikh Jarrah, Jerusalem.
In 12 short days, the battle had undone the walls Tel Aviv had spent decades erecting: Jerusalem was once more the focal point for Palestinians everywhere, the ‘heart’ of their cause; and ’48 Palestinians had broken through a carefully-constructed psychological barrier and jumped back into their national struggle.
During ‘peace’ negotiations that followed the battle, the Israelis refused to include the ‘48 Palestinians in any discussions. Nor did they easily accept the inclusion of Jerusalem in those negotiations, according to senior Palestinian officials who spoke to The Cradle.
While Israel was eventually forced to accept a freeze on home evictions in Jerusalem’s Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, the sources say that it became intensely agitated at any mention of the ’48 Palestinians: “As soon as we raised the issue of our Palestinian brothers at home, the Israelis went crazy and refused to discuss it, saying that they were an ‘internal’ Israeli affair.”
This may be the reason for Israeli reprisals that began immediately after the conflict ended. They launched unprecedented arrests of some 1,550 ’48 Palestinians, who they believed had participated in popular revolts during the May unrest.
A ‘problematic’ population
For Israel, the 1948 Palestinians – officially, Israel citizens – are intensely ‘problematic’.
Israeli authorities have historically used different methods in dealing with the Palestinians of ‘48. One of these methods was the constant threat of home demolitions under the pretext of non-licensing.
But the most dangerous tactic Israel has focused on during the past two decades is the stealthy promotion of organized crime within the community of ’48 Palestinians.
After the May conflict, two new developments took place: first, the crime rate among Palestinians suddenly – and very unusually – escalated. Second, a wave of Israeli raids were launched last October under the pretext of fighting this alleged ‘spike in Palestinian crimes.’
The Israeli media dubbed this new maneuver, ironically, ‘The Safe Path.’
The Safe Path to serious crimes
Over the last five months, the form and nature of crimes reached unprecedented extremes.
On 22 November, the headmistress of Bukhari School in the city of Araba, Rudeineh Nassar Shalata, was injured after being shot in front of her students.
On 25 November, on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, Rasha Stawi was killed in front of her children in Bethlehem.
On 14 November 2021, Soroka Hospital in Beersheba became a battlefield of clashes between two families. Two days later, gunmen targeted two people walking at a funeral inside the cemetery of Galjuliya. One of the funeral walkers died immediately and the other was seriously injured.
In a subsequent emergency meeting at the local town council in Galjuliya, blame was placed squarely on the Israeli police. Demands were made to close major streets to protest the increase in crimes.
Such crimes have not been without their odd occurrences, such as the theft of donations to newlyweds in the middle of a wedding at gunpoint, or the killing of brothers and cousins of the same family over the years.
Taking advantage of the crisis situation, the Israeli government seemed more concerned with promoting crime among Palestinians.
The chairman of the High Follow-up Committee, Mohammed Baraka, said that Israel’s goal is to “penetrate Arab society under the pretext of fighting crime.”
“Would spraying gasoline on fire extinguish it?” Baraka cynically asked.
The Israeli security connection
After the May conflict of 2021, the confessions of security and police officers in the Hebrew press revealed Israel’s own involvement in contributing to crime against Palestinians.
Agencies, such as the Israeli Public Security (Shabak), have strong ties to organized crime and criminal families within Israeli society.
The majority of weapons thefts reported by army soldiers are to cover up the sale of weapons by Israeli soldiers to crime organizations.
In addition, a press investigation broadcast by Israel’s Channel 13 reveals that Shabak’s own investigators use threats against young Palestinians to make them confess to crimes they did not commit.
The TV broadcast reveals how young ’48 Palestinian boys from Jaffa, arrested during recent events on charges of ‘assaulting an Israeli soldier,’ were told that if they do not confess to carrying out the attack, a family member would be killed.
While Palestinians are aware of these occurrences, the Israeli government has worked to show that the issue of crime has become serious and must be urgently addressed.
On 11 August 2021, Israel announced a plan named ‘Sword Strike,’ for which a budget of 2.5 billion shekels has been allocated over five years. The plan provides for the launch of a special branch of the Police Saif (Sword) Division to eliminate crime.
Even if this recognition is sincere, it is too late. There is much evidence of this. The first is the clear confirmation that, in 2003, authorities were able to quickly dismantle Jewish criminal organizations when it was found that some of them were facilitating large sums for some Palestinian operations.
Other evidence reveals that the occupation authorities have not acted for two decades against Palestinian crime groups, despite having precise knowledge of them and their weapons storage sites.
Yet further evidence from human rights organizations and family statements reveals that many victims informed Israeli police that they had been threatened, and had presented evidence, only later to be found killed – with no subsequent investigation by Israeli police.
Why now?
Psychological warfare
A fundamental reason why the Israelis are enraged is because the weapons that they funneled, through mafias, to sow violent crimes among Palestinians, were turned against Israeli security forces during the May events.
Despite investigations into the hundreds of young men arrested for participating in ‘violent events’, no evidence has ever been found of their involvement in any criminal activity.
Despite lacking evidence, authorities used the opportunity to deploy cameras and surveillance in places where they could previously not, or had no urgent reason, to deploy them.
Israel also began establishing new or additional security centers in ’48 Palestinian cities and towns.
It had become clear that, previous to the May uprising, security forces had not anticipated needing or developing a strategy in dealing with rebellion and civil disobedience from inside. During the 12-day conflict, Israel had to resort to calling in border guards to supplement their internal police forces.
But this increase in security centers would instead serve only as “headquarters for recruiting agents and closely monitoring Palestinians … even managing the crime to suit the enemy,” say various Palestinian sources inside the 1948 boundaries.
And there is yet another side to the Safe Path campaign: fighting ‘economic’ crime.
Israeli authorities say police will cooperate with the tax authority to provide Palestinians suspected of committing crimes with capital recognition forms. The next step is for the police and the tax department “to examine tax entries in comparison with the standard of living, as part of their activities to dry up the sources of crime and fight tax evasion.”
Once again, this is little less than another form of collective punishment.
In addition to security and economic measures, there is a clear psychological component to Israeli actions aimed at intimidation and subjugation.
In order to achieve this goal, Israel implemented a number of measures and imposed new laws, the most important of which allows its police forces to break into private homes – within the 1948 boundaries – without judicial authorization.
These forces also carried out raids on homes using hundreds of soldiers to terrorize the residents – as has happened, and is still happening, in the southern region of Negev against the country’s Bedouin citizens. As part of its fear campaign, Israel forces even rappelled down from helicopters onto the roofs of Palestinian homes.
After the crime, the explosion
In summary, Israel acts on revenge. What is happening today is little less than a test, Palestinian sources say, “a trick that does not fool those whose demands have for decades been ignored by authorities, but which authorities themselves have simulated as criminal activity, released among those whose lives have become unrelenting commiseration.”
Meanwhile, the scale and frequency of crimes continue to rise. Last November, criminal activity claimed 113 Palestinian lives, according to the Aman Center (Arab Center for Safe Society).
Any further pressure through punitive measures will no doubt lead to an explosive outcome.
This was the case of the 1948 Palestinians whose acts of defiance and protest during the May war surprised not only Israelis, but Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza as well.
Another war may not be needed for that explosion to occur. Israel’s forceful and deceitful handling of fabricated crimes through its own criminal actions can only lead to one thing: an intifada.
