المسيّرات الإسرائيلية one way ticket

Hassan Al-Laqqis: The Man Who Flew Over Palestine

Khadija Shokor

It has been five years since the martyrdom of Hajj Hassan al-Laqqis. One of the advantages of having him as a leader was that he was a dreamer, but he also sought “with all his heart” to make his dream come true. He did it. He is a happy martyr, in the immediate sense, having achieved his dream, himself. Along with a group of dreamers, they had to fly away.

The following text will shed light on some of this man’s accomplishments. He, like all the martyrs of the resistance, had (some) of his achievements revealed after his departure. It was his departure that revealed his identity. One of his close friends retells memories of his life. We, the living who have been blessed with the pride the resistance created, owe it to him to honor his memory.

12 men from the “Israeli” Mossad made up the group assigned to a mission in the southern suburbs of Beirut on December 4, 2013. The objective was the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan al-Laqqis, who had become an extraordinary threat to the enemy.

Two members of the group were tasked with the actual killing, while the remaining 10 were assigned the roles of implementation, transport and surveillance. The degree of danger that the man’s work posed to the enemy was illustrated by the great deal of risk it undertook by sending this type of group.

“I arrived home and they told me that Hajj Hassan had called me minutes earlier. When I was about to get back to him, his personal bodyguard called me to tell me that Hajj’s concierge informed him that someone had shot Hajj Hassan,” a friend of the martyr recalled with anguish.

Five years have passed but the scenes from that night are still enshrined in this friend’s mind.

“I arrived to find him leaning on the door of the car, smiling as blood flowed from his head. I approached and found the pistol in his other hand,” he said.

The 50-year-old man gets on memory lane and goes back to the beginning of his relationship with Hajj Hassan.

“He returned from Africa in 1978, and since then we have been friends,” he recalls.

This friend insists that excellence was Hajj Hassan’s quality from a young age.

“He was exceptional on all levels. He excelled in his studies. He was refined in his manners. He was constantly ambitious. I remember when we finished high school, Hassan learned that there was an institute offering computer courses in Gefinor.  He was quick to register although this field was not known at the time. Ever since he was little, he liked to know everything new in technology and development. So much so that he preferred to buy new technological magazines and equipment rather than the basics,” the friend explains.

Anyone you ask about Hajj Hassan’s qualities would tell you, and Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah confirmed as much in his speech that he was “a hard and diligent worker, well mannered, loving and creative. He was one of the brilliant and distinctive minds of this resistance.”

Sayyed Nasrallah knew Hajj Hassan very well, describing him as “a beloved brother, companion and a close friend since we were young men in the city of Baalbek.”

Baalbek was the city where Sayyed settled after returning from Iraq in late 1979 to complete his studies at a seminary founded by Sayyed Abbas al-Musawi. At the time, the relationship between the two young men was centered around the mosque. Later, when Sayyed became the cultural leader of the Amal movement in Baalbek, Hajj Hassan joined him. That was in 1980. He stayed close to him during that period. When Sayyed’s life was threatened because of his positions and speeches he delivered on the platforms in Baalbek, Hajj Hassan insisted on accompanying him to those events. He also insisted on staying with him during that time in case of any security risks that Sayyed faced. Since then, their friendship grew, developed and never ceased.

One of Hajj Hassan’s friends recalls how they and a group of young men accompanied Sayyed on the day of the “Israeli” invasion, trying to mobilize people against the enemy. They passed through the city of Baalbek and chanted: Death to America ??and Death to “Israel”.

Not only were they friends, they were also partners when the resistance movement was born. Even when Sayyed moved to Beirut, the two kept in touch both professionally and socially.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard came to Lebanon. It organized military training courses for young people to resist the occupation. Hajj Hassan rushed to join the first of these courses. Later, he worked at the Revolutionary Guards’ Staff Office. He was in direct contact with most Iranian officials as a result of his work. And because he had a quick-wit by nature, he quickly became fluent in Farsi. He saw most of Sayyed’s meetings with the leaders of the Revolutionary Guard. This gave him extensive experience and broader relationships.

With the “Israeli” occupation being limited to the South and western Bekaa and the jihadist operations concentrated there, Hajj Hassan made several field visits in those areas. He participated in qualitative operations, most notably the storming of “Israeli” positions, such as the one against the “Tomat Niha” site in 1988.

His fight against the enemy allowed him to notice some of the obstacles and problems the Mujahideen faced on the battlefield. He sought solutions to overcome these issues. He began working on the Signal Weapon, exerting a lot of effort to develop it through the introduction of modifications. The effects of these modifications emerged in the communication system – both wireless and wired.  He also paid attention to the latest technological developments in security and military spheres.

He did not spare any opportunity to take advantage of everything new that can benefit the resistance. For this purpose he always sought to bring as much of the advanced technology as possible and make use of it for the resistance. He became the primary reference for technology to the entire resistance leadership. He was a diligent and hard worker. He participated in choosing the resistance’s missile arsenal and developed it. He expanded his research in this field until he became the first advisor to the military leadership every time it was presented with new weapons.

Later, the challenges grew, especially after the resistance grew stronger and the enemy’s precautionary methods intensified. He continued to propose ideas and solutions to face the challenges on land and the difficulties of land barriers, until he began to think about how to use the sky to face the difficulties on land.

“I used to make fun of him,” says Hajj Hassan’s friend. “Every time I entered, I would find him trying to assemble wooden pieces and install them on a small motor. I would ask him: Do you expect these pieces to take off? He would answer me with confidence: it will not only take off, I will make it capture images. You don’t know. I might make it carry a weapon in the future.”

That idea was born in 1988. That was when the ambitious young man, who did not believe in the existence of “impossible”, decided to breach the sky.

He first started from his small room. He bought a lathe, collected simple motors, pasted them together with wooden pieces, and then tried to make them fly.

One, two, dozens of failed attempts. But finally he succeeded in making one of those designs fly. With his humble but persuasive manner, he managed to turn this idea into a conviction among the leaders and officials. This would later be known as the Air Force Unit of the Islamic Resistance.

It was not an easy journey. Every achievement cost Hajj Hassan and his team a lot of studying, planning, programming and working day and night. They were keen on readiness and development because they believed that the technological battle with the enemy would not end. This task cost a lot of time, effort and even souls. The names of the pioneers of that stage were not revealed except for those who were martyred, including Hajj Hassan, Hussein Ayoub and Jamil Skaf. The latter two excelled in this field, and both were martyred while they were taking part in developing it.

Sacrifice, for them, was not a hindrance. It was an incentive to continue. Therefore, Hajj Hassan continued to work on the development of drones. For this purpose he visited the aircraft factories in Iran. He attended many of the workshops there and met with many specialists in this field to benefit from their experience in developing domestic Iranian aircraft.

He never stopped looking for new developments worldwide in a bid to take advantage of any advances in his field.

Among the “Israelis” his work earned Hajj Hassan al-Laqqis the label of an officer in the existing war of minds against the resistance. This drove the “Israelis” to attempt to assassinate him in the early 1990s. A bomb was planted near his home in Baalbek, according to the martyr’s friend.

“He was returning to his house, and could not overtake a bulldozer driving in front of him. And then he turned right to overtake it. At that moment, a large explosion was heard on the other side,” the friend said.

The enemy was wrong to think that the assassination attempts would weaken al-Laqqis’ determination. After that incident, he returned to work in both the missile and aerial fields with greater focus, expanding the realm even further.

After the “Israeli” defeat in Lebanon in 2000, his work broadened. The drones or what was known as the air force unit had several factories. He managed them with a team he chose and trained carefully. Sayyed Nasrallah visited those factories periodically, being updated on their developments. The leaders of operations soon demanded the participation of these aircraft in their military operations due to their contribution in guaranteeing success.

Over the past years, the aircraft became the resistance’s powerful eye in the sky, both before and during the military operations. This was only some of what Hajj Hassan planned. The effects of this activity emerged clearly during the July 2006 war. At that time, the enemy returned to stalk this commander, who had worried them for many years. The “Israelis” took advantage of the outbreak of the war to try to assassinate him again. The “Israelis” confirmed this themselves.

“I was busy with my work,” said his close friend. “Hajj Imad Mughniyeh called me and told me that he had just seen Hajj Hassan on television during a live broadcast after a building had been destroyed in Shiyah. He asked me to go to him and tell him to leave the area.”

The friend continues, “when I arrived, I learned that he was trying to search the rubble for his 18-year-old son Ali, who was in the building. The martyr later told me that he went to the building to deliver a bag to his son. But shortly after he left, the “Israeli” aircraft struck the building and destroyed it.” His son was martyred.

“He was dauntless despite the loss,” his friend said. “He left the place and continued working hard and firm. We even noticed this firmness when we accompanied him to see his martyred son in the hospital three days after the aggression. He quickly bid him farewell and went back to his work with determination until the end of the war.”

The war ended, and al-Laqqis’ ghost kept haunting the “Israelis” who could not weaken his determination, not even by killing his son or destroying his home. He immediately returned, even before rebuilding his home, to pursue his work in airspace.

After the July 2006 war, work on drones was accelerated in light of the outcome of the war. Hajj took advantage of the scientific developments and the resistance’s existing capabilities to find new models and meet the emerging needs after the war.

The drones did not only operate within the resistance in Lebanon. In Syria, for example, they were credited with assisting most of the confrontations that took place. The al-Qusayr battle is one of the most prominent pieces of evidence.

The martyr’s friend tells us that the latter showed him a video how these drones were operating during the battle. They took pictures, which were directly transmitted to the command room. The command room in return contacted the field group and informed it about the details of the place and the positions of the militants. The drones reduced the loss of lives and helped in the success of the operation as a result of the accumulation of knowledge.

The martyr’s friend added, “after the battle of al-Qusayr, the martyr informed me of a new plan, which aimed at arming the aircraft, enabling us to use it in filming and bombing. He reminded me of how he told me about this goal since the beginning.”

“Indeed, after a short period of time, he returned and played a video showing the success of a maneuver in which this plan was carried out,” the friend added.

Hajj Hassan was martyred, but his thoughts, approach and the fruits of his labor live on, with the same strength and determination. His team continued to make advances in his work and achievements. The effects of this work spread beyond Syria. Until today, Hajj Hassan has not really been known. Not by friend or foe. But some of his achievements will be revealed in the coming war, through the air force and the Islamic Resistance’s drones when the headlines read: “the resistance’s drones attack “Israel”.”

Why a new war on Gaza?

At most, “Pillar of Cloud” might open the way for an old Zionist plan – the proclamation of Jordan as a Palestinian state, the transfer of the population of Gaza (perhaps also that of the West Bank) into Jordan, and the annexion of the territories thus evacuated.

“In this case, the military operation must not target all Hamas leaders indiscriminately, but only those who oppose the former poitical head of the organisation, Khaled Mechaal, since he is slated to become the first President of a Palestinian State in Jordan.”

 =======

“Operation Pillar of Cloud”

Why a new war on Gaza?

Thierry MeyssanOnce again Israël attacks Gaza, and the international media relays the images of desolation. But the outrage provoked by these daily horrors must not prevent us from analysing the situation and understanding its aims. Thierry Meyssan anwers the question.

On the 14th November 2012, Israeli armed forces launched the operation “Pillar of Cloud” against the administrative and military installations of Hamas in the Gaza Strip. On the first day of the attack, they assassinated Ahmed Jaabari, the number 2 of the armed branch of the Palestinian organisation. They also destroyed the underground launch-pads of their surface-to-surface Fajr 5 missiles.

Pillar of Cloud” quickly expanded, as Israeli aviation multiplied its bombing raids. The Israeli military command proceeded with the call-up of 30,000 reserve troops, and rapidly increased that number to 75,000 men, at the risk of destabilizing the economy. In this way, Israel has given itself the capacity to invade the Gaza Strip with ground troops.
This situation calls for several explanations.

Why now?

Tel-Aviv is taking the initiative in the midst of the partial power vacuum reigning in Washington. We are awaiting the nomination of new Secretaries for State and Defense. The new nominations may be ambassador Susan Rice and Senator John Kerry. However, a bitter struggle is currently being played out in the Press in an attempt to disqualify Ms. Rice. In any event, the position of the exiting Secretaries of State and Defense are weakened, and their successors have not yet been named.
In identical fashion, Tel Aviv had taken a similar initiative with the operation “Cast Lead” during the period of transition between Presidents Bush Jr.and Obama. Certain commentators are also evoking the proximity of the Israeli legislative elections, and suggest that Benjamin Netanyahu and Avigdor Lieberman are attempting to polish their image as hard-line hawks.

This is improbable, since in fact, they are launching this attack without being sure of the result in advance. In 2008-2009, the failure of “Cast Lead” was fatal for Ehud Olmert’s government.

What’s the aim?

Traditionally, Israeli armed forces adapt their war objectives to the occasions that arise.
At the least, the aim is to weaken the Palestinian Resistance by destroying infrastructures and administrations in the Gaza Strip, just as they do at more or less regular intervals. However, the weakening of Hamas will automatically profit Fatah in the West Bank – and Fatah will not miss the opportunity to push a little harder in its demand for the recognition of a Palestinian state by the United Nations.

At most, “Pillar of Cloud” might open the way for an old Zionist plan – the proclamation of Jordan as a Palestinian state, the transfer of the population of Gaza (perhaps also that of the West Bank) into Jordan, and the annexion of the territories thus evacuated.

In this case, the military operation must not target all Hamas leaders indiscriminately, but only those who oppose the former poitical head of the organisation, Khaled Mechaal, since he is slated to become the first President of a Palestinian State in Jordan.

Is this attack linked to the disturbances in Jordan?

The war in Syria has strangled the Jordanian economy. The Kingdom has rapidly fallen into debt. On the 13th November (in other words, the day before the start of ” Pillar of Cloud“) the government announced energy price rises as high as 11 % for public transport, and 53 % for domestic gas. This announcement fed a movement of protest which has been smouldering since the beginning of the year. Immediately after the announcement, about half of Jordan’s 120,000 public school teachers went on strike.

On Friday 16th, more than 10,000 people demonstrated in the heart of Amman, shouting – “Liberty comes from God!“, “Abdallah, your time is over!“, “The people demand the fall of the regime!“. The procession started from the Husseini mosque, and was supervised by the Muslim Brotherhood.

The Muslim Brotherhood, who have concluded an agreement with the US State Department and the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, are already in power in Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, and Gaza. Apart from this, they control the new Syrian National Coalition. Their ambition is to govern Jordan with or without King Abdallah II.

The best-known member of the Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood is Khaled Mechaal, the ex-chief of the political branch of Hamas. Mechaal lived in exile from 2001 to 2012 in Damascus, under the protection of the Syrian state. In February 2012, he sudddenly accused Bashar al-Assad’s government of repressing his own people, and chose to move to Qatar, where Emir Hamad al-Thani showed him great generosity.

Is there a link to the unrest in Syria?

Last June, a peace agreement was concluded in Geneva by the major powers. This was immediately sabotaged by a US faction, which organised leaks to the Press concerning Western implication in the events, thus forçing the resignation of mediator Kofi Annan. This same faction then twice attempted to end the situation militarily, by organising two massive attacks on Damascus, on the 18th July and the 26th September. When these attacks failed, the Obama administration returned to the initial agreement and resolved to implement it after the Presidential elections and the change of Cabinet.

The agreement calls for the deployment of a United Nations Peace Force, mainly composed of contingents from the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (SCTO). This force would be tasked with separating the belligerents and arresting the foreign jihadists present in Syria. By allowing Russia to re-enter the Middle East, Washington hopes to relieve itself of the burden of Israel’s security. Russia would protect the Zionist state from attack, and would also prevent it from attacking anyone else. The US military retreat from the Middle East would then be able to continue, and Washington would once again enjoy the freedom of action it has lost due to its permanent privileged relationship with Tel-Aviv.

From this perspective, the partisans of Israeli expansionism have to act in Gaza, and perhaps also in Jordan, before the Russian deployment.

What are the first conclusions that can be drawn from the current war?

The war has tested Israeli anti-air defences. The Zionist state has invested several hundred million dollars in the creation of the “Iron Dome“, a system capable of intercepting rockets and missiles fired from Gaza or Southern Lebanon.

This system did not seem to function correctly when Hezbollah sent a drone to fly over the Dimona nuclear reactor, or when it tested its surface-to-surface Fajr-5 missiles.

During the first three days of “Pillar of Cloud“, Hamas and the Islamic Jihad retaliated to Israeli bombardements with salvos of rockets and missiles. The “Iron Dome” managed to intercept 210 of the 800 shots fired. However, this statistic doesn’t mean very much – the system only seems capable of intercepting fairly primitive rockets, like the Qassam, and does not seem to be adapted to any more sophisticated form of armament.

Jumblatt Initiative: Dialogue, Relation with Hezbollah Priorities

Local Editor

The Lebanese MP Walid Jumblatt said Monday his initiative to resolve the political crisis in the country stipulates a return to dialogue and an end to Lebanon’s involvement in the Syrian crisis.

“The initiative stipulates a commitment to national dialogue as the only means to resolve crises and the need for political parties to commit to the state as the sole authority,” Jumblatt said during a news conference at his residence in Mukhtara.

He also said that Lebanese media outlets should “stop incitement,” and play a more effective role.

During his chat with reporters, the head of the Progressive Socialist Party said there were two contentious issues obstructing political life in the country: the international tribunal and Hezbollah’s arms.

Although a supporter of the national tripartite formula of “The Army, the people, and the resistance,” as means to defend the country, Jumblatt said such a formula was ambiguous and needed revision.

“One day after we resume dialogue we should come up with a new formula because we can no longer have a formula that is unclear and confuses the role of the Army with that of the resistance,” he said.

The PSP leader called for the sole jurisdiction over arms to be in the hands of the Lebanese Army, in an implicit demand that Hezbollah hands over its weapons and abandons defending Lebanon.

Jumblatt also discussed regional players plans, claiming they are using Lebanon to achieve certain goals.

“No to [Arabs] seeking to fight Iran via Lebanon and we refuse to be just another Gaza Strip,” he said.

“We reject Iran using Lebanon as a base to gain leverage over Arabs,” in reference to Ayyoub drone that the Lebanese Resistance of Hezbollah sent over the Occupied Territories of Palestine.

“Sooner or later, we must go back to the state. Yes to the liberation of the occupied territories in appropriate ways. No to Israeli breaches… No to the use of aircraft named Ayyoub for purposes not in Lebanon’s favor,” he stated.

Jumblatt however stressed the excellent relations with Hezbollah, but said: “We disagree with the party on the approach to the Syrian crisis, which is a democratic political disagreement. I repeat to those who want to fight Iran: Let them do it outside of Lebanon.”

Jumblatt’s so-called initiative to resolve the ongoing stalemate between rival groups surfaced after President Michel Sleiman’s efforts to convene all-party talks failed.

The Victory Equation

Daniel Mabsout,
WHO FIGHT THE ISRAELIES TRANSCEND THEIR SECTS AND AFFILIATIONS AND BECOME COMRADES AND BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN THE UNIVERSAL CAUSE. ISRAEL PROMOTES SECTARIANISM AND DIVISION , BUT FIGHTING ISRAEL PROMOTES UNITY
Gaza is defending Gaza and defending all . Rockets and missiles are falling over Israel. ,From Lebanon’s battle to Gaza’s battle the struggle continues . Now Gaza is carrying the torch and
will resume the task of defending Palestinians and Arabs . Whatever victory was achieved by the Lebanese Resistance will not be restricted to Lebanon but will spread as fire . The Palestinian Resistance Today is proving itself on the battle ground and showing that it has grown and learned from previous experiences and developed and acquired the necessary materiel and equipment and learned how to use it properly and intelligently in favor of the cause .What has started with Martyr hero :’Imad Mughniyye in terms of supplying the Palestinian Resistance with what it needs has never stopped. Commander in Chief Mughniyye made it a point to treat the Lebanese and Palestinian Resistance on a par , giving each its due in terms of weapons and supplies , that is how Iranian weapons reached the Palestinian Resistance and this supply never stopped following different itineraries involving many stations and countries mainly Syria and also Sudan, and this is what we are witnessing nowadays in Fajr 5 and other missiles that are hitting Tel Aviv.

It is Palestine that is hitting along with Hizbullah and the Basij and Syria in one common strike . It is nonsectarian resistance that is striking . This orchestration that includes the fresh information brought by Lebanese Resistance drone ‘Ayyub will take care of any dubious poisonous sectarianism infiltrated by corrupt gulf regimes according to the new world order agenda of partition and division and internal conflict . And while the sectarian campaign was reaching its peak, and-at the time when even prominent Hamas Leaders- like Haniyya and Mash’al -were taking shameful sectarian positions and stands- namely against Syria -exposing -on many an occasion -the Syrian regime and the president of Syria openly and unjustly, the coordination of the Resisting non Sectarian allied forces was following its natural course- unhindered and undisturbed – coordinating and cooperating fully in the face of the common enemy , dismissing all kinds of dubious sectarianism and overlooking any other divisive element .

It is the rallied forces of the united Resistance which -after defeating and turning down sectarianism- is now striking and achieving success and winning on the Israeli front .. God bless this united Resistance and blessed is this Resistance who never fell in the dark pit of sectarianism from which there has never been any recovery.

"If Assad goes, Hezbollah will be alone in the Levant – much to the delight of Israel" – GCC recognises new Syrian opposition bloc

Hezbollah has always suffered from two basic flaws: the first, being a Shia Muslim group funded by Iran, the second they support Assad, who is an Alawite,
I would add a third: Brothers of America believe Success will never come from deviant

Whereas

Therefore,  to govern and please the Great friend of Mursi, ASSAD should go in order to leave Hezbollah alone in the Levant

BUT ACCORDING TO UAE’s The National: “Most Syrians still prefer the regime because they fear the Brotherhood more”

———

FLC

[Independent] “… No-one doubts the fire-power or tenacity of this most-efficient of guerrilla movements. If it did not win the 2006 war against Israel, then Israel certainly lost it, retreating back across its frontier after fierce, face-to-face combat with Hezbollah fighters. Israel – along with America – regularly refers to Hezbollah as “terrorists”, but Israeli troops who have fought the guerrillas have talked of them with something approaching respect. Hezbollah doesn’t run away.

But the organisation has always suffered from two basic flaws: it is essentially a Shia Muslim group – and thus sectarian by its very nature – and it is funded annually by millions of dollars from Iran. Hezbollah’s continued support for Assad, who is an Alawite – effectively of the Shia faith – further “sectarianises” its outlook, ….

Far more worrying for the country, and for many in the government in which Hezbollah also sits, was the pilotless drone which Hezbollah sent over Israel and was only shot down after flying for hundreds of kilometres.

Hezbollah said it was made from an Iranian kit put together in Lebanon, and that it took photographs of Israel before its destruction – which may well be true – but this represented a serious escalation of tension between Lebanon and Israel. The Lebanese government can hardly expect the United Nations to listen to its complaints of daily Israeli flyovers when – without any permission from the government – Hezbollah carries out intelligence flyovers from the Bekaa Valley.

More than a year ago, Hezbollah sent another drone over Galilee and managed to bring it back undamaged to the Bekaa after flying it close to the supposedly top-secret Israeli listening post in the hills east of Haifa.

The latest drone was a message from Iran: attack Iranian nuclear sites and Hezbollah drones can attack Israel.

The Israelis themselves believe that if another war breaks out with Hezbollah, Lebanese fighters will seek to enter Israel on the coast and move southwards across Israel’s sovereign territory, albeit intended as a symbolic victory rather than any real attempt to “liberate Palestine”…..

But the future hangs heavily upon it. If the Assad regime collapses and is replaced by an Islamist-style Sunni power in Damascus, then Hezbollah will be alone in the Levant, with more than 500 miles of hostile Syrian and Iraqi sand and rock between Lebanon and the Iranian frontier.

If Western support for the Syrian rebels is the West’s attempt to destroy Iran’s only Arab ally, then Hezbollah will be alone and Israel will be delighted. So will the US. Unless, of course, Bashar al-Assad survives. …”

Sayyed Nasrallah Urges Prudence: “If Troublemaker Brings You News, Verify It"

Marwa Haidar
12-11-2012

Sayyed Nasrallah Martyrs Day

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah warned that the current stage in Lebanon is so critical, saying there are some sides who have been working hard to create sedition among Muslims.
His eminence urged prudence and wisdom in order to face this sedition, quoting the holy Ayah (verse) of al-Qura’an:

“If a troublemaker brings u a news, verify it.”

During a ceremony held at Sayyed Shuhadaa complex in Beirut’s southern suburb for the occasion of Hezbollah’s Martyrs Day, Sayyed Nasrallah promised the martyrs to continue their path of resistance, stressing that the resistance is advancing and it would not abandon its path.

His eminence said that the resistance has settled the equation of deterrence against the Zionist entity, noting that “Ayyoub” drone, which was sent by Hezbollah last month over the Palestinian occupied territories, was part of this equation.

As he stressed that the issues of unity government is to be discussed through dialogue, he considered that the ball was in March 14 camp’s court as he gave them the option to return to dialogue or not, noting that it was “of Hezbollah’s high values to sit for dialogue.”
On regional issues, Hezbollah S.G. said that both the Syrian and the Bahraini conflicts are to be solved peacefully and through halting violence.

ABOUT THE OCCASION

Talking about the occasion, Sayyed Nasrallah recalled the operation of martyr Ahmad Kassir which took place in November 11, 1982, killing dozens of Israeli occupation soldiers and officers.
His eminence said that the operation of the “Prince of Martyrs”, referring to Kassir, is still considered the most powerful operation against the Zionist entity.
“The era of “the enemy defeat and the resistance victory” was declared following Ahmad Kassir’s operation, Sayyed Nasrallah addressed crowds.
“In this anniversary of Martyrs Day the resistance has completed its 30th year… In this day we promise our martyrs that to continue this path and to keep their promise, his eminence added.
Sayyed Nasrallah also regretted that some Martyrs need a “certificate of nationalism”, while other collaborators are considered national people.

“Some want us and the Ummah (nation) to forget our history as well as their history… It’s regrettable that some Israeli collaborators request certificates of nationalism for our martyrs.”
“We will continue our efforts, and don’t think that the campaign against the resistance would turn us away from our work to deter the enemy,” his eminence pledged.

RESISTANCE AND EQUATION OF DETERRENCE

Hezbollah leader stressed that the resistance has been advancing, noting that the resistance has settled the equation of deterrence through the concept of army-people resistance.
“Following July war in 2006 the Israeli enemy acknowledged the reality of Lebanon’s deterrence against Zionist entity.”

“The concept of army-people-resistance represents the equation of deterrence against the Zionist enemy,” his eminence added.

He said that “Ayyoub” drone is a part of this equation, noting that the enemy has said nothing about the drone, while some local sides have condemned the action.
“The enemy knows very well what does the resistance’s possession of right and clear information mean.”

“Thanks to deterrence equation, the enemy has done nothing when we sent Ayyoub drone. However some Lebanese part condemned such actions, giving the Israeli enemy the “right” to attack Lebanon,” Sayyed Nasrallah said.

Talking about the rightfulness of the resistance choice Hezbollah S.G. stressed that March 14 camp has not believed in this choice, saying that relying on other “peaceful” choices has no results.
“March 14 camp had never believed in the resistance choice as it had never considered the Zionist entity an enemy.”

“If we have relied on the Arab League then there would be Israeli settlements in Lebanon,” his eminence stressed.

“Where is the Arab League when the Israeli enemy had attacked Sudan’s sovereignty as it raided the weapons factory there? Where is the Arab League of all the issues that are agreed on? Where is the Arab League of what is going on in Borma,” Sayyed Nasrallah wondered.
“The resistance choice is the only one which protects Lebanon, and its abandonment is foolishness. “

“IT’S OF OUR HIGH MORALS TO SIT FOR DIALOGUE”

On the Lebanese political condition, Sayyed Nasrallah considered the ball at March 14 camp’s court, saying the unity government issue is to be solved only through dialogue.
“It’s of our high morals to sit for dialogue and discuss the defense strategy and the resistance’s weapon.”
“If You want to sit for dialogue you are welcome, but if you don’t.. it’s up to you, we have no problem,” his eminence said.
Sayyed Nasrallh also considered excluding some sides from the dialogue as injustice.
“Is it justice to exclude sides that have resisted the enemy while other collaborators are included,” he wondered.

CRITICAL STAGE NEEDS PRUDENCE

Hezbollah leader warned against the critical condition in Lebanon, noting that some sides in March 14 camp which have been trying to create sedition between Sunni and Shiite.

Martyrs Day

“The region around us is strained, including Lebanon. For that we should behave wisely in order to prevent the country’s explosion.”

“Some are exploiting the assassination of Maj. Gen. Wissam Hasan in order to create sedition between Sunni and Shiite in Lebanon,” he said further.

“There is confirmed information that some sides in March 14 who are trying to ignite Lebanon through sedition between Sunni and Shiite,” Sayyed Nasrallah said, noting that these sides are March 14’s Christians and some figures in al-Mustaqbal (Future) party.

“Some people want to exploit any incident in a bid to create a Sunni-Shiite sedition, and what happened yesterday in Sidon was aiming to do so,” his eminence said, adding that the authorizes have abandon it’s duty in this context.

Furthermore, Sayyed Nasrallah assured that Sidon is the capital of resistance and unity between all Lebanese whatever their sects are.

He addressed all the Lebanese “especially the Sunni and the Shiite that this stage is so critical, we should watch out and not be taken by the incitement, lying and delusion.”

Hezbollah Leader here quoted a holy Ayah (verses) of the Qura’an that says: ““O you who believe! If a troublemaker brings you any news, investigate, lest you harm people out of ignorance, and you become regretful for what you have done.”

Sayyed Nasrallah also urged dialogue between all Muslims, stressing the importance of the contact between the scholars and figures in order to prevent sedition.

“Preventing sedition recommends patience. If any side has committed a mistake the other should work to solve the issue, and the authorities also have to do their duty.”

SYRIAN, BAHRAINI CONFLICTS

On the Syrian and Bahraini issues, Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that they should be solved through dialogue.

“It’s for Syria and the Syrians’ sake to be engaged in dialogue and to halt violence.”

“However, the others are pushing towards refusing dialogue. They have gathered at Doha and created a new formula for the opposition as Clinton wanted. The more dangerous issue is that this opposition is refusing dialogue and preferring more and more killing and destruction.”

Talking about Bahrain, Sayyed Nasrallah considered that the Bahraini authorities are fed up with the peacefulness of the opposition’s moves, to the extent that the regime has been blaming Hezbollah for the blasts which took place in the Kingdom recently.

In this context Sayyed Nasrallah considered that the regime was searching for a pretext to hit the opposition and to arrest the peaceful opposition figures.

Hezbollah Military Might Undermines Zionist Plans for War

Local Editor

Hezbollah growing military mightHezbollah is strongly present in the Zionist decision making process regarding any future war, where its growing military capabilities pose a hard number to Tel Aviv rulers when thinking of any military adventure in Lebanon and the region.

This fact was confirmed by senior Zionist security official who spoke to the Zionist daily Yediot Ahronot.
The official stressed that if it weren’t for the huge rocket arsenal of Hezbollah, Israel would have launched its attack against Iran’s nuclear facilities a long time ago. According to the official, the war decision could cause a regional war.

The Zionist writer expert in intelligence affairs Rounim Brimen told local online newspaper Globes about Hezbollah’s preparations for any future confrontation with the Zionist enemy, putting Ayyoub drone flying over the atmosphere of occupied Palestine in this context.

Brimen cited intelligence officials saying that Ayyoub’s aim was to get intelligence information to assist Hezbollah in building a bank of targets, including vital installations to be targeted in the next war.

Brimen concluded that current military force of Hezbollah is the most advanced and developed in the world, quoting the remarks of former Mossad chief Meir Dagan in which he described the power of Hezbollah as enormous, and that the party had accumulated this force since the Zionist hysterical withdrawal from Lebanon in 2000 and it possesses now weapons system not owned by 90 percent of the world’s countries.

Brimen however drew the attention to estimates in Tel Aviv which indicate that Hezbollah now has 70 thousand rockets, including missiles with a range of up to 700 kilometers, while the Zionist daily Haaretz confirmed that Hezbollah now has an enormous and unprecedented military power.
“The success of the party is one of the main failures that characterized the failure of the policy pursued by President Barack Obama towards the Middle East,” the daily added.

Ayoub Drone’s Second Journey… Haj Imad Moghnieh Flies in Dimona’s Sky!

Sayyed Muhammad Sadek al-Husseini, “al-Vefagh Newspaper”

Initiated with “Ayoub” drone’s* second journey, this is the first turning point for the  Resistance’s open-war mechanics. This time the story is full of mystery as the official airlines are Hizbullah’s… A greater jeopardy is yet to come!

Being the turning point from defense to attack, this is the first time the Islamic Resistance deprives the enemy of its initiatives and innovative capacities.

All amounts of mass-destruction arms in the enemy’s depots cannot change this fact; instead, the enemy’s arms have changed into nothing but mere “iron junk”!

“It is neither the first time nor the last. And this is only a very little part of what the future is to bring along!”

Obviously, however, it is “the prerequisite” for reshuffling the major events the Arab and Islamic Region is experiencing. On the other hand, some have already lost their vessels in the moving sands of “the Arab Spring”!

It is the inevitable “Awakening” that will reshuffle the Arab movement and save it from forgery, falsification, seduction, or exploitation that any vigilant rebels can realize!

It is certainly a distinguishable mark; though we have been steadfast during besiegement, now we are experiencing a stage of great triumph- contrary to what some want us to believe!

It is an important juncture as we are in a stage of inseparable “conflict bonds”. That made Hizbullah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah- the Master of the Lebanese Islamic Resistance- make a speech clearer and franker than ever!

The drone was made in Iran, and a cadre of the Lebanese Islamic Resistance assembled its parts. This is not neither the first maneuver nor the last. Launched in Lebanon to a destination in occupied Palestine, the drone scanned both sea and land like a body manufactured by a self-sacrificing unit never did before. Lethal, the drone flew for three consecutive hours along 300 km above land and water; whereas the enemy in the celebrated desert was absolutely unaware.

That was the Lebanese Hizbullah’s first official trip to occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem) – an outstanding, fruitful one!

“Ayoub’s” flight was the fruit of consecutive years of work. As the Islamic Resistance’s flexibility surpassed the others’, the Resistance decided to pioneer setting the first turning point of the massive battle royal anticipated!

It is the battle ‘royal’ all sides of the resistance axis have been working for and anticipating as a part of confronting all Zionist aggressions against our nation.

This is the battle ‘royal’ that capable, coherent, and harmonized powers have continuously been preparing for. Positioned in Khorasan, Bagdad, Damascus, Sur (Tyr), Bint Jbeil, Nablus, Ramallah, al-Quds, Gaza, and Cairo, these powers have been working to achieve the battle royal so successfully that it changes the entire Middle East- no matter how the villains act!

Two days before the Master of the Islamic Resistance declared Hizbullah’s responsibility for “Ayoub’s” flight to the blesses lands, “Iran’s Nuclear Website” stated, “…Such flights will spread in the airspace of occupied Palestine, especially in the north and near the Golan…”

“Throughout the recent years, the Resistance groups have sketched a full map and made a thorough scan for all military and natural barriers against clash…” The website added, “The aims beyond sustaining this act have been:

1-Testing the efficiency of the “Israeli” air ‘defense’ systems, which have so far proved to be inefficient!

2-Collecting information and determining targets!

3-Developping the Resistance groups’ abilities through drilling in the enemy’s airspace!”

So it’s old, new work whereby its oldness proves planning and constant will are there; its newness verifies we have commenced the stage of “open surprises”. This is said by the careful observers of the thorough war of intelligence and informatics secrets – the war which has existed for years.

Whereas the Zionist Jews seek avoiding their fate, others are eager to fight for freeing the blessed al-Quds: the Muslims and Christians of the new East ranging from the colossal Atlas Mountains, the Great Wall of China, to Eurasia (the doors of Moscow and Beijing)!

This is “Ayoub’s second journey”, and it ultimately signifies this is a turning point: from defense to attack!

As we read about “Ayoub’s” sacred journey, Allah’s soldiers all along the Iranian provinces are readying themselves for the greatest maneuvers ever! Around 5 million fighters are going to accomplish virtual operations of defense and combat. The maneuvers are to be made in accordance with the geography of every province. But all phalanges are to be named “Holy al-Quds Phalanges”!
At this moment, too, one of the fiercest and most complicated battles is taking place on the roads and in the alleys and countryside of Aleppo; also in the countryside of many blessed lands mentioned in the Holy Qur’an. It’s going to be a global war.

Careful observers tell it is going to determine the kind of the future global system, as well as the geopolitics that’ll redefine our Islamic World and Arab Nation!

This is the journey full of surprises every day. No matter what kind of surprises these will be, their last turning point will eventually determine the time for terminating the last occupation and settlement units and racism phenomenon of the recent history.

More clearly, the camp of the little, so-called “State of “Israel”” is going to be dissociated. Definitely, no more “Israel” will exist; Palestine will retain its demography, geopolitics, and geography as its legitimate right says.

But, what does all this mean to Hizbullah in particular?!

Remember the words of His Eminence Sayyed Nasrallah: “We need neither chemical weapons nor nuclear ones. We do own what is more efficient!”

Having made its first trial, today “Ayoub” drone can demolish the “Israeli” gas platforms in the sea!

“Ayoub” drone can bombard the warships of the NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) by the shores of the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea!
To Dimona, “Ayoub” drone is death that might strike any moment!
So it can strike any enemy commander before it even gets exposed!
It is the first turning point that’ll revenge for martyr Haj Imad Moghnieh. Today, his phantom masks the hills, mountains, valleys, and shores of occupied Palestine. So has the time for revenge come?!

*”Ayoub” drone has been named after Prophet Ayoub (Pbuh), who was known for absolute patience; also after Hizbullah martyr Hussein Ayoub.
