Israel Absolves Itself from 2014 Naked Aggression on Gaza

Stephen Lendman

Israel remains unaccountable for decades of racist ruthlessness – massacring, persecuting and otherwise collectively punishing Palestinians for not being Jewish.

Operation Protective Edge was its third war on Gaza in five-and-a-half years – premeditated naked aggression against a largely defenseless population, 1.8 million people trapped under lawless siege, no safe havens for protection.

Israel’s war had nothing to do with Hamas rockets. Claiming it was a ruse, media scoundrels reporting it like gospel.

Attacking the Strip targeted Palestine’s legitimate government, democratically elected in January 2006, the PA installed as a puppet regime serving Israeli interests.

War was about preventing Palestinian self-determination. It was to maintain occupation harshness.

It was to keep stealing Palestinian land. It was to expand settlements exponentially. It was to control all valued parts of Judea and Samaria.

It was to keep Palestinians confined on isolated bantustans on worthless scrubland. It was to steal their resources.

It was to assure diaspora Palestinians don’t return. It was to maintain Gaza’s blockade while pretending otherwise when hostilities ended.

It was to have Jerusalem as Israel’s exclusive capital. It was to undermine Fatah/Hamas unity.

It was to let Israel commit high crimes against peace with impunity – any time against invented enemies, unrestrained by inviolable international laws.

It was to show Palestinians they’re defenseless against overwhelming Israeli might. It was to enlist popular homeland support for what demands universal condemnation.

Wars on Gaza, anywhere in Palestine or regionally can be launched at Israel’s discretion – with full US support and encouragement, most other nations turning a blind eye, supporting naked aggression, mindless of the cost in Palestinian lives and suffering.

Whenever Israel investigates its high crimes of war and against humanity, whitewash follows. On Thursday, it summarily closed 13 investigations into Operation Protective Edge criminality committed by its soldiers in summer 2014.

Over 2,100 Palestinians died, mostly civilians, including over 500 children and 300 women, over 11,000 injured, many maimed for life.

Virtually every child was traumatized by war, requiring professional help in most cases unavailable. Only three Israeli soldiers were held accountable for crimes involving looting – not mass murder and destruction, affecting residential areas most.

Dozens of entire families were wiped out, scores more lost three or more members. Promised relief following war’s end never materialized.

A UN warning about Gaza becoming uninhabitable by 2020 goes unheeded. It’s virtually this way now.

Israeli-imposed dire conditions created a humanitarian catastrophe. Little is being done to help long-suffering people, illegally blockaded by Israel for over nine years.

Naked aggression could be launched against them any time at Israel’s discretion. Slow-motion genocide stalks Palestine – its epicenter in Gaza.

“The Awful Clarity” of Israeli Oppression Becomes Murky Spin in the NYT

Posted on August 22, 2016

When writer Michael Chabon visited the West Bank city of Hebron earlier this year, the brutal reality of the Israeli occupation hit him with force. During an interview with the Forward, he appeared “visibly jarred,” and he pulled no punches in describing his reaction.

“Once you see for yourself,” he said, “it is pretty obvious, I think, to any human being with a heart and a mind, it is pretty clear what to feel about it. It is the most grievous injustice I have ever seen in my life.”

His reaction echoes in the words of another author, Ben Ehrenreich, who recently published a book about the occupation,

“The Way to the Spring: Life and Death in Palestine.”

In his introduction Ehrenreich refers to “the awful clarity of the injustice,” and his book portrays Palestinian resistance under Israel’s state-sponsored system of oppression.

Both these American writers are saying that…

US Jewish professors abhor visiting Israel

Rehmat

Posted on |

On August 1, 2016, two female Jewish history professors, Harsia R. Diner (New York University), and Marjorie N. Feld (Babson College) in an opinion post at Israeli newspaper Ha’aretz entitled, We’re American Jewish Historians. This Is Why We’ve Left Zionism Behind, blasted Israel as an evil entity. Both said they abhor to visit Israel, refuses to donate money to it or buy its product after watching what its government and Israeli Jews do to Palestinians.

Both professors who were committed Zionists during youth – find it hard to digest the non-stop growth of illegal Jewish settlements on Palestinian lands stolen since June 1967. They’re not anti-Israel as both believe that biblical G-d did promised Holy Land to their Khazarian ancestors.

The socialist Zionism of the Habonim youth movement was central to my early years, providing my base during the 1970s when the Jewish settlement of the Occupied Territories began. I need not belabor the point that from that date on, the Palestinian land that has been expropriated for Jews has grown by leaps and bounds and that the tactics used by the State of Israel to suppress the Palestinians have grown harsher and harsher,” Diner said.

Nor do I need to say that the exponential growth of far right political parties and the increasing Haredization of Israel, makes it a place that I abhor visiting, and to which I will contribute no money, whose products I will not buy, nor will I expend my limited but still to me, meaningful, political clout to support it,” Diner added.

Jewish professor Ari Y. Kelman (Stanford University) has questioned the ‘Jewishness’ of the two women. “There have been anti-Zionists in the Jewish community for a long time,” he said.

On April 29, 2016, Ray Filar, editor Open Democracy published an article, entitled, Why I am anti-Zionist Jew, he wrote:

While in Israel this year I lost count of the number of times I was quizzed as to my religious heritage by random Israelis. The question,“Are you a Jew?” was asked of me more in a month than at any other time in my life. Refusing to answer caused some consternation – and where all interactions are guided by fears of the Palestinian majority, of the loss of “the Jewish democratic state”, I can see why. As a counterpoint I also experimented with purposefully telling Palestinians that I am Jewish, the primary reaction being surprise, then pleasure, and the short response: “welcome”.

In 2012, Dr. Norman Finkelstein claimed that more and more young American Jews are distancing from Israel. Last year in a speech at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Finkelstein said that Israel could reduce hatred toward Jews by not calling itself the Jewish state.

Calling Israel a Jewish state is like saying United States is a White state.

Teachers at Israeli Religious School Accused of Sexually Abusing Students

[ Ed. note – I was going to post this article yesterday, but was not able to learn where the arrests took place. The article is from YNet. The writer, apparently due to some careless journalism, fails to mention the crucial information that the arrests took place in Israel. However, additional reports since published, at Haaretz and at the JTA, supply the name of the school–the Talmud Torah Machzikei Hadass School–as well as the facility’s location, in Tel Aviv, which is also where the arrests took place. ]

Teachers at Hasidic School Accused of Sexually Abusing Students

Main defendant accused of raping boys aged 3-10 while at school, tying students and force-feeding them black pepper or soap, and forcing them to relieve themselves in their pants, among other allegations; indictment states students called the school ‘Bergen-Belsen’ and the main defendant ‘Rosenazi.’

YNet

Six teachers from a Talmud Torah school (“Cheder”) belonging to the Belz Hasidic dynasty were indicted on Tuesday for the abuse and assault of minors, with the main defendant accused of many cases of sodomy with minors, indecent assault, and extortion.

According to the indictments, the offenses were allegedly committed over the course of 11 years from 2000 to 2011 against 22 complainants aged 3-10, who were taught by the defendants.

During that time, the defendants committed daily physical and emotional violence against the students, which was characterized by cruelty, humiliation, and intimidation.

According to the indictments, the students called the school “Bergen-Belsen,” referring to the Nazi concentration camp, while the main defendant, 49-year-old Avraham Mordechai Rosenfeld, was dubbed “Rosenazi.”

Rosenfeld, the indictment states, brought students to a lounge at the school that contained beds and a closet in which he kept sweets, some of which he confiscated from the students. He allegedly ordered the students to come with him into the room, where he sexually assaulted them. After they stopped crying, he gave them sweets and sent them on their way.

In many of the cases, Rosenfeld beat the students using wooden sticks or planks that he ordered the students to gather during recess.

The indictment also details some instances in which Rosenfeld tied the students to chairs or desks using ropes or cable ties and had them stand in class with their hands and feet bound. While tied, he force-fed them a spoonful of black pepper or soap and forbade them from washing their mouths after.

In other cases, he forbade students from going to the bathroom, or otherwise forced them to relieve themselves in their pants while sitting in class.

Rosenfeld is also charged with animal abuse. In one instance, when a cat entered the classroom in which Rosenfeld was teaching, he beat it in front of the students with an umbrella or wooden sticks, and eventually shoved it out of the window, killing the cat.

Additionally, Rosenfeld is suspected of terrorizing his wife and children at home. He allegedly subjected one of his children to abuse for years until the child left home. His wife claimed he threatened to keep her from their children, threatened to divorce her, and controlled the food in the house.

The other five defendants are Yisrael Haim Shapira, 65, Haim Fishgrond, 69, Moshe Hirsch, 39, Menachem Alberstein, 63, and Avraham Pinchas Deytsch, 53.

The six defendants denied the offenses attributed to them, with each providing explanations and interpretations of the incidents, claiming they did not intend to harm the minors. Some admitted to some of the less serious incidents, while presenting them as mere jokes.

Apart from Rosenfeld, the other five teachers were released from detention under restrictive conditions.

Zion Amir, who also represented former president and convicted rapist Moshe Katsav, now represents some of the defendants.

“Some of the people I represent completely deny the allegations against them,” he said. “There is going to be a long trial that will acquit whoever needs to be acquitted from this important community.”
Rosenfeld’s lawyer, Yehuda Fried, claimed that

“the acts described in the indictment are exaggerated. Regarding his family, the accusations are completely made up by those seeking to get between him and his wife.”

6 Teachers at Tel Aviv Haredi School Indicted for Severe Child Abuse

JTA

Six haredi Orthodox teachers were indicted for abusing and assaulting children at the Hasidic school in Tel Aviv where they worked.

The teachers, all men, were indicted at Tel Aviv District Court on Tuesday, the Times of Israel reported. One, Avraham Rosenfeld, 49, was also charged with sexually assaulting a child under 16, indecent acts, extortion under threats and making threats.

The six are accused of abusing 22 boys ranging in age from 3-10 years old at the Talmud Torah Machzikei Hadass School, affiliated with the Belz sect, between 2000 and 2011.

According to Ynet, the indictments say the abuse was so pervasive that students referred to the school as “Bergen-Belsen,” an allusion to the Nazi concentration camp. They referred to Rosenfeld as “Rosenazi.”

Rosenfeld, the indictment states, ordered students to come with him to a school lounge, where he sexually assaulted them. He also is accused of beating students with wooden sticks or planks, which he made the students gather during recess.

According to the legal papers, Rosenfeld also tied students to chairs or desks with ropes or cable ties, then force-fed them black pepper or soap.

He is also accused of abusing animals, including a cat that he beat and killed in front of the students.

The other five defendants are Yisrael Haim Shapira, 65, Haim Fishgrond, 69, Moshe Hirsch, 39, Menachem Alberstein, 63, and Avraham Pinchas Deytsch, 53.

Ynet reported that the six defendants, who were arrested two weeks ago following a month-long undercover investigation, said they were innocent of the charges.

Rosenfeld’s lawyer, Yehuda Fried, to that

“the acts described in the indictment are exaggerated. Regarding his family, the accusations are completely made up by those seeking to get between him and his wife.”

Israel Faces a Civil War in near future, by Scott Humor

Via The Saker

The owners of the tiny eBay store that sell my eBooks are being inundated with mysterious phone calls on the phone number that has been dedicated to the eBay store. It’s easily available per customers’ requests.

Previously, over the years, they have received just one call on this phone number.  This week phone calls are coming from the phone numbers presumably originating in the vicinity of a general geographic location of  the store.

This bullying of innocent people pisses me off to no end. I just hope that Fred Zimmerman, a publisher of the Essential Saker, has avoided this fate. At least, he has not said anything to me.

For those who have nothing better to do but bully and intimidate innocent people, I want to give them the following bit of information. Sleep on it, if you can.  Tomorrow you might decide to discontinue your activities.

On July 18th, speaking at the a Zionist Camp parliamentary bloc session, an opposition leader Isaac Herzog said:

“We hear hatred at every turn, whether it is directed toward women by military rabbis, by Ashkenazi Jews against Sephardi Jews and Mizrahi Jews against Ashkenazis.”

“This way the seeds of the uprising of hatred are planted, which will lead to a civil war. This hatred is being carried out by the full support and cover of those in charge,” Herzog said.

“Whoever heads this administration remains silent about the uprising of hatred, without working against it, ending it, taking steps against its leaders, or preventing those behind it from receiving funding.”

He also mentioned something about fascism that is “budding” and also ” rising and flourishing in Israeli society.”

Turns out a civil war is not a foreign concept for Israeli society, as Adeyinka Makinde, a writer based in London, England, proves, by giving an educational historical overview of Jewish civil conflicts.

He concludes his article by expressing legitimate doubt of the possibility of this sort of conflict taking place:

It is clear that the statements made by Herzog, Yaalon and Golan point to the increasingly extremist drift of Israeli politics, but whether they reflect a state of affairs capable of metastasizing into an internecine civil conflict remains doubtful. “

Everyone knows that Israeli society is not sustainable. Since Germany ceased its payments to Israel, it’s mostly the US that funnels money there. Most of the American money goes to the military spending, maintenance of enormous punitive machinery, the Israel Prison Service (IPS), and to the intelligence and terror operations around the worlds. Israel, along with the US, remains a country with the highest incarceration rate. A part of the American aid goes to pay subsidies to the unprofitable agricultural sector. It would be much cheaper and healthier for Israelis to buy food produced in Russia, for example. But to maintain a myth of Israel being a land running with “milk and honey,” the Zionist ideologues need to maintain this insanely expensive and water consuming agricultural project. I have one word for you to describe food in Israel, it’s ground on human excrements. Bon Appétit!

The remaining part of the financial aid goes to paying welfare, and to social programs like pensions, unemployment benefits, free medical care, and free education. Still, one out of five Israelis  lives in abject poverty, and the remaining four spend more that they earn.

Since we analyze world current events from the pro-Russian point of view, we have to ask ourselves would an armed civil conflict and engineered mass casualties be beneficial for Russia or not.

The situation between Jews living in Russia and the Russian society in general could be described as a cold civil war.

A month ago prior to the Herzog’s warning about an impending “civil war” in Israel, Valery  Pyakin, a Russian political analyst, outlined a plan for the “final holocaust.”

I know that many of our readers know him and respect his opinions. For those, who don’t know who he is: Pyakin, along with Efimov, Zaznobin and a late General Petrov have been the most famous proponents of the Concept of Public Security (CPS). Very little information about the CPS exists in English. Someone pointed out that there are only one old lecture by Victor Efimov for FSB (ex-KGB) and a large video with General Petrov, in English on youtube. Lots of information and videos of the CPS is available in the Czech language. It’s only Czechs who translate the weekly editions of Pyakin on topical issues of global policy in terms of CPS.

The following is the translation of Pyakin’s interview

Question: We have many questions about Yakov Kedmi and his fury of activity in Russia.

Pyakin: Kedmi is a Mossad agent, who has been banned from entering Russia since Putin became a president, and who is now allowed into the country. Essentially, Kedmi works for Israel. Israel got very lucky that the Syrian war has not turned into an all out war on the Middle East. Next, we should expect a possible war coming from the territory of Ukraine to Europe, and to the other Russian territories. The next element after that will be a total ethnic cleansing of the Jewish population. The last final holocaust. Historically, Jews served as an instrument of the political world management,  today they lost their role, and they have been largely replaced by newer and better functioning Scientology. That’s why the world Jewry has ceased to be  important for the “master” so called ‘Global predictor.” But, to finalize the replacement, it’s necessary for the final holocaust to take place.

People who work for Israel understand that they have been condemned to death. That’s why they are being forced to help Russia with information. This “help” has  only one aim – to preserve the world Jewry  and the state of Israel. In the moment of crises, like now, any allies are welcome. It doesn’t mean that you’re completely opened to cooperate with them. It means that they have their own  interests, but they are working for you also.

Generally speaking, information is always good. If it’s disinformation, you, after checking it and seeing that it’s not true, avoid some wrong directions. If information is true, you can use it to improve the quality of your own management.

In this case, Kedmi and his “comrades” provide information which is truthful, and it helps to understand the plans of the word’s supra-governmental structures.

Israelis are very interested in a peaceful Ukraine, because of the Dnepropetrovsk region. Because this region is a seat of Habad (Chabad)

That’s where the world fire will start and will engulf the world Jewry completely.

Question to Pyakin: Could you please describe how a “final holocaust” might take place. Wouldn’t it cause a huge protests around the world?

Pyakin: No, it wouldn’t. Just like when the genocide of Serbs took place in Yugoslavia. The informational preparation for this holocaust has been taking place for a long time, including anti-Zionist conferences. The world society in general is ready for this. Anti-Semitism is on the rise everywhere, even in the most “tolerant” European countries.

Look. when Ukrainian situation has started, we saw a Jew Kolomosky funded and formed groups of militants, and a Jew Yarosh formed groups of militants, who had started anti-Jewish propaganda and threatened to kill Jews. That’s was the point when (in 2014) the final Jewish holocaust was suppose to take place.  For the US plans, it was supposed to start in Ukraine. Israelis perfectly understood this.   That’s why when the question came whom to support in Ukrainian conflict, Russia or the US, the state of Israel immediately stood on the Russia’s side. It doesn’t mean that some politicians are not acting against the national interest of Israel, just like some politicians are acting against the national interest of the European countries. But, Israel as a state has started to support Russia in this conflict.

That’s why Kedmi is so active. They need to put the flames of this conflict out. They need to prevent the final Holocaust from taking place.

Question: How this process would be taking place?

Pyakin: It’s very basic. Zionism has a term “cutting dry branches.” Jews are supposed to grow in very distinct atmosphere, and to be completely isolated from the culture of “goyim.” If Jews are contacting with “goyims” in their everyday life, they are getting “humanize” which is very dangerous from the point of view of the “global predictor.” Imagine, two shoemakers, a Jew and a Christian, would start a business together, and start communicating and visit each other’s families. One, would see that Russian Ivan is not that bad, and the other would see that Jew Abram us not that bad, as they were told. Their children become friends. [Humanization here is a process of changing a point of view and seeing the “others” as human.] As a result of this  process, Jews stop seeing nations around them as territories populated by something that is dangerous and needs to be destroyed, and the rest to be exploited. On the other hand, people who work together with Jews producing something, they see that Jews are just as poor as them, and that they all are suffering from the same Jewish banker.

This is the beginning of the questioning how exactly countries and economies are being managed. That’s when the Jewish bankers organize pogroms and holocausts. That’s when Schicklgruber, a Jewish tax collector, comes and cuts “dry branches.” Some Jews had died in German death camps, while others waited comfortably for repatriation to Israel, the US and to other countries. those who are considered “useful” for global management were saved. Those who were deemed “useless’ were condemned to death. We have heard about the Warsaw Ghetto, and how people were starving there. There was a Soviet photographer Yevgeny Khaldei, who was allowed by the authorities to take many images of the Warsaw Ghetto.

You look at those pictures and you see men and women who were well nourished. They lived in the same Ghetto, with many others who were starving and dying. The laws of the Third Reich, didn’t apply inside the ghetto. Ghetto was self-ruled by the local synagogue, and the Jewish Police, and it were them who were deciding who would die and who would live. That’s why some Jews were starving and ended up in death camps, while others lived comfortably till so called “liberation.”

End of the interview.

In my June 17th SITREP I have brought up some of the questions concerning Russia’s dealing with Israel, and Netanyahu’s monthly reports to Kremlin.

This past May, Noam Chomsky gave a talk at the Chatham House on the Jewish lobby. In his short speech he gives a definition of the national interests saying that its “state power and concentrated economic power.”  He rejects the notion that a small group of people like a Jewish lobby can influence the American politics. He also throws out a couple interesting facts:

  1. Working with the US defense industry, “Israel tests high-tech equipment on live targets. We learn things from that.” [3:39]
  2. Israel has very close relationship with US intelligence.
  3. A Snowden revelation that Israel is the only country that gets “raw data.” Most data is what is called “minimized.” NSA is sorting things out and things that are improper or illegal are being thrown out. That’s how the Five Eyes receive their intelligence. Not Israel. They get straight data. The intelligence relationship are extremely close.
  4. One of the Wikileaks exposures was a list of super strategic sites that the US needs to defend at all costs. One of them is in Israel near Haifa. It’s called Rafael Military Industries (Rafael Advanced Defense Systems).
  5. Intel set up their biggest new factory for the next generation computer chips.
  6. The US defense industry relationship with Israel is good for America, because every time the US government gives Israel $2 billion dollars, Israel turns around and buys weapons from Lockheed Martin, which is “good for America.”

I scratch my head trying to understand how is the removal of thousands of jobs in high-tech industries from the continental US is good for America? I also fail to see how paying for the Israeli military is beneficial for the US taxpayers, despite the claims that the money goes into US industries anyway. It’s like paying yourself from your own pocket for a job you do for someone else. How long is it going to last? It’s not sustainable.

Even form this small piece of information we can see that relationships between the US and Israel constitute a scheme that called “an inverted empire.”  It’s when the outskirts of an Empire are getting more resources than the center. That is exactly how the Soviet Union operated. In 60s, 70s and 80s, only two parts of  Soviet Russia, the Russian republic and the Azerbaijan republic were contributing funds for the country’s budgets. The other thirteen republics were the budget recipients.

That the pro-Israel lobby has to make Chomsky go and vouch for them, tells me that they are desperate and grabbing onto the last straw.  Chomsky is being viewed by some as a pro-Kremlin nut, and as a anti-Zionist self-hating Jew, by others. Both of these views are completely misleading. Furthermore, Chomsky’s view of the Donald Trump electorate is something that also gives me pause.  Chomsky said that only poor, unemployed, disenfranchised angry white males are voting for Trump. Essentially, Chomsky is talking about the core of the American population, that by now has lost any footing and representation in the power structures of the country.  Again, that’s exactly what had happened with the Russian population which constituted the majority in the Soviet Russia, but was completely removed from its governing systems.

To summarize:

  • The American public is critical of Israel and opposes the unconditional support for Israel
  • “An Extraordinary Development”: Record Swiss Gold Flow Into The United StatesThere was a huge trend change in U.S. gold investment in May.  Something quite extraordinary took place which hasn’t happened for several decades.  While Switzerland has been a major source of U.S. gold exports for many years, the tables turned in May as the Swiss exported a record amount of gold to the United States. How much gold?  A lot.  The Swiss exported 50 times more gold in May than their monthly average (0.4 mt) since 2015:In May, the Swiss exported more gold to the U.S. in one month than they have every year going back until 2000.
  • A meeting somewhere in the Western Ukraine against Jews. It says “No to Jews in power”
  • the moment the US support for Israel ceases, Israeli society will collapse
  • The European Jews are “dry branches” that are planned to be removed by artificially instigating ethnic cleansing
  • the state of Israel and its secret services are working to prevent the “final holocaust” from taking place
  • Russia is the only country that the state of Israel can relay on for defense on condition that Vladimir Putin and his people are in power.
  • Cease and decease calling and harassing my book seller.

P.S.:  Just to gain some understanding how deeply the Israeli society is divided on “true Jews” and non-Jews, read the Open Letter to Natan Sharansky from Uri Regev, published on  June 16th, 2016

Uri Regev wrote:

“Last week, you spoke before hundreds demonstrating for full recognition of Rabbi Haskel Lookstein’s conversions. To the assembled crowd (which I was part of) you said, “At a time when… our enemies attempt to sever the ties between young Jews and the Jewish state…the Jewish Agency fights to strengthen Israel’s stature among world Jewry, and we protest this unacceptable blow to the vital bond between Israel and Diaspora Jewry….”

As head of the Jewish Agency, doesn’t non-Orthodox Judaism deserve that you urge the State of Israel, if not the rabbinate, to do so? For Israel’s sake and for the relationship between the Jewish state and the Diaspora, these converts must be able to be fully absorbed into Israeli society! How can they, if they are not allowed to marry in Israel? As the state handed total control over marriage of Jews in Israel to the Chief Rabbinate, which does not recognize them as Jews, none of them can legally marry here. Neither can some 350,000 Israeli citizens from the former Soviet Union, born to Jewish fathers and non-Jewish mothers. Don’t they deserve that you, as head of the Jewish Agency, demand that Israel grant them the right to family, and not subjugate them to the anachronistic rabbinic establishment that refuses to accept even Rabbi Lookstein’s legitimacy? Even with your goodwill, the Agency’s funding and the handful of lenient Orthodox rabbis willing to defy the rabbinate’s intransigence, few will undertake Orthodox conversions.

Can a Jewish Agency committed to the successful absorption of the miraculous Russian Aliya close its eyes to this mistreatment, which renders them second class citizens? In rightly stressing the need for Israel to welcome the young generation of Diaspora Jewry, you must know that the majority of that youth will not be accepted as Jewish by Israel’s rabbinate, and would similarly be excluded and humiliated.

Many among them converted (or their mothers converted) with non-Orthodox or modern Orthodox rabbis like Lookstein, or were born to mixed marriages.

As there is no legal option for civil marriages in Israel and neither do non-Orthodox rabbis have the authority to officiate at marriages in Israel – the majority of Judaism’s next generation would not be able to marry in Israel! As Hiddush polling repeatedly demonstrates, the overwhelming majority of Israeli Jews support equal status for non-Orthodoxy and state recognition of all forms of marriage.

The non-Orthodox make up the overwhelming majority of Diaspora Jewry, as you well know. Shouldn’t the primacy of Jewish unity and inclusiveness, Israel’s founding principles of religious freedom and equality, and the overwhelming support for Jewish diversity among both Israeli and Diaspora Jews compel you to mobilize the Jewish Agency toward this goal?”

This is not Gaza After Israeli Invasion

This is how Pambos Napa Rocks, a 5 stars hotel in Cyprus looked when a group of Israeli youngsters checked out.  Israeli Ynet reports this morning on the incident. The Israeli youth vandalized the place and terrorized the local population. Zionism promised to civilize the Jews, it vowed to make them ‘people like all other people’…it failed!

And this is how it looked before the Israeli invasion…

From ynet:  “Deepening into detailed reviews on the (hotel’s) site,   reveals a terrible description of the Israeli tourists in  the island. ‘Israelis stayed in the hotel because it seems that no one else would agree to take them. They were either rude or sexually abusive. They attempted to steal things from other people’s rooms,’ wrote one of the guests at the hotel two years ago… ‘I do not recommend this hotel unless you want to mingle with the Israelis.

‘”More from another ynet article:”According to the hotel, the boys vomited in the balconies  resulting guests had left and received a refund. They destroyed the wallpaper in the corridors and threw bottles from their balconies. They swam in the pool at 4 in the morning when they are intoxicated, even though they were told that this is forbidden. When the cleaner knocked on their door, they opened it they all naked and asked her, do you want to have sex with us?. Cleaning lady left her job subsequently. ”

The hotel also said that Israelis ‘did not respect the property and destroyed furniture in the lobby and reception. They threw bottles at guests. On leaving we discovered that they caused more damage to the premises, so we decided to cancel the deposit to repair some of the damage. We told them a repeatedly that  smoking is not allowed in the reception, but they laughed and smoked all the time and put the cigarettes on the furniture for the lobby, and consequently destroyed furniture.”

JEWS HATE WOMEN: 28 OF 32 JEWESS MKS BEING SEXUALLY ASSAULTED IS SYMPTOM OF JUDAISM

israelis protesting sexual harassment

by Jonathan Azaziah

A most disturbing statistic has emerged out of the usurping ‘Israeli’ entity: 28 of the 32 Jewish women inside the Knesset have gone on record about being sexually harassed or abused at some point in their lives. This is a reflection of the larger problem of sexual violence within the psychopathic Zionist enclave, which has been described not only as a “pedophile’s paradise” but also as a “human trafficking haven”, and we all know that “human” is merely a euphemism for young women. Indeed, 1 in 3 Jewish women, that’s right, a whopping 33% of ‘Israel’s’ female occupiers, have faced sexual harassment, rape, assault or other forms of sexual abuse and violence at the hands of Jewish men. And while I do not feel sorry even in the least for any of these creatures, as they are usurpers, murderers, colonizers and land thieves first and foremost, just as much so in fact as the ‘Israeli’ men hurting them, numerous insights can be drawn from this ‘societal’ plague which will allow us to gauge how the enemy thinks, works and executes its pathological agenda. For if the Jew hates his own women this much that he can commit such egregious crimes against them, is it really so surprising that the Jew peddles pornography on a global scale to undermine Gentile morality (see Nathan Abrams’ “Triple-exthnics” in the Jewish Quarterly), trafficks young women on a global scale (i.e. the Russian-Jewish mafia; see “Red Mafiya” by the courageous Robert Friedman), deliberately targets women in his wars of aggression against Palestine and Lebanon and unleashes savage women-killing proxies against our people (i.e. the Phalangists of yesteryear and the Takfiris of today)? Is it really?

And while there are ‘Israeli’ leftists–what the f*** is an ‘Israeli’ leftist anyway?! A supremacist squatter who maims your children and burns your olive trees while shouting “workers of the world, unite!” in the midst of his/her crimes?–like the “post-Zionist” Jews of 972 Magazine wondering, “Why are so many Israeli women subjected to sexual harassment?”, pinning it on everything from a “military culture” to “patriarchy”, “mommy and daddy issues” to “aggressive heteronormativity”, all of this Neo-Marxist, ultra-Freudian, Frankfurt-School-Identity-Politics-fueled gobbledygook is simply an obfuscation of the real issue at hand: JUDAISM. Yes, Judaism is the reason why ‘Israeli’ women are sexually harassed and abused, just like Judaism is what drives the Zionist abomination to commit the most unspeakable crimes against the Palestinian people.

For a closer look at the basis of this important deduction, let us plunge with vigilance into the Talmud. The ire of the Chazal (Hebrew acronym for {rabbinical} sages of ‘blessed’ memory) against the Jewish woman is just mind-boggling in its vileness and ruthlessness. BT Baba Bathra 16b states, “The birth of a girl is a sad occurrence.” BT Yebamoth 59b perversely describes the Jewish woman as a sexually-ravenous creature that would even give herself to otherworldly creations, “A woman who has intercourse with a beast is eligible to marry a Jewish priest. A woman who has sex with a demon is also eligible to marry a Jewish priest.” Whereas Islam treats the woman in marriage as the best friend, lover and Queen of her husband, Judaism treats the woman as an object that should not be conversed with; BT Aboth states, “It is not good to talk to women, not even your own wife.” Whereas women are the backbones of Islamic communities and some of Islam’s holiest figures are women, like Lady Khadija ([A.S.]; the first Muslim, first wife and first love of the Holy Prophet Muhammad [S.A.W.W.]), Lady Fatima al-Zahra ([A.S.]; Muhammad’s daughter, wife of Imam Ali [A.S.], known as the ‘leading woman of the worlds’), Lady Asiya ([A.S.]; protector of Prophet Moses [A.S.] as a child) and Lady Maryam ([A.S.]; holy virgin mother of Prophet Jesus the Messiah [A.S.]), the rabbis belittle and degrade their women; they tag them as inferior. BT Kiddushin 80b says “Women are lightheaded.” 29b of BT Kiddushin states, “It is forbidden to teach the Law {The Talmud} to a woman.” That must be because according to the rabbinate, they are lightheaded! Most despicably, in BT Gittin 91a, the rabbis view their women as throwaways, interchangeable with other throwaways, “It is permissible to divorce your wife if she burns your dinner, or if you see a prettier girl.”

BT Sanhedrin 25d views the majority of female Jewry as practitioners of witchcraft. BT Shabbat 152b describes the Jewish woman as a “sack of excrement.” BT Sanhedrin 100b describes the Judaic female as a “valueless treasure.” The Talmud permits the Jewish male, i.e. the aspiring rabbinical ‘sage,’ to sodomize his wife as much as he chooses to do so because, she is not fully human (though still above a Goy woman). To the rabbis, a Jewish woman is a slab of freshly cut meat right out of a kosher butcher shop. While the Islamic female has the power to initiate divorce if she is unhappy and her marriage is irrevocably broken, the Jewish female ‘slab of meat’ is a slave to her husband even after a divorce. These women are Talmudically referred to as the agunot, “the chained” in Hebrew, and until their ex-husband grants permission to her, ‘the chained’ woman is forbidden by rabbinic law to remarry. And unlike Islam, where the mother’s station exceeds that of the father, in the rabbinical courts of Judaism, the man’s word is akin to God’s word and the woman’s word is worthless. Islam assertively encourages its followers to respond to all Muslims, male and female, with the Arabic greeting of peace and harmony, “Assalamu ‘alaikoum (peace be upon you).” In contrast are the multiple verses of BT Berakoth that forbid any Judaic man from even greeting a Judaic female. And in a bombshell that is clearer than a sky free of clouds, verse 13a of Horayot, the final tractate in the Talmud’s Mishnah, says “A man comes before a woman in {all} matters of life.”

Still, it gets worse vis-a-vis the Gentile. Since the Judaic hatred of the Goyim extends to their being, to their marrow, to their very soul, why wouldn’t it extend to their Goy children as well? BT Yebamoth 98a is a reflection of this, “All Gentile children are animals.” And there is an especially intense Jewish hatred for female Gentile children, as confirmed by BT Abodah Zarah 36b, “Gentile girls are in a state of niddah {filth} from birth.” This is due to hatred of the female half of the Goy ‘species’, as the monstrous Chabad Lubavitch Rabbi Schneerson would opine, being embedded in rabbinical law. BT Sanhedrin 81b-82a shows that there is an acronym used by the rabbis to describe Gentile women in totality, “NSHGZ,” which stands for Niddah (filth), Shifchah (slaves), Goyyah (heathens) and Zonah (whores). These terms apply to Goy women without exception. As it is well-known by the awakened, Gentiles are considered subhuman according to Judaism and its rabbis and BT Niddah 45a adds another layer to this rabbinical ‘wisdom,’ stating, “Women cannot conceive before they reach twelve years and a day, according to the Rabbis. When asked how it was possible that a Gentile girl conceived at age six, the Rabbi replied that Gentiles are not human.” And BT Kiddushin 66c puts the final stamp on the ‘NSHGZ’ principle, “The best of {the} women are filled with witchcraft.” The Judaic male, striving to please his rebbe and become one at some point in time himself, recites the following ‘prayer’ from BT Menahoth 43b-44a, every morning, in a ritualistic renewal of his hatred for the Goyim, “Thank you God for not making me a gentile, a woman or a slave.”

And let us not forget the Old Testament (the corrupted Torah), Judaism’s holiest book of which the Talmud is merely an exegesis on. Throughout Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Deuteronomy and Samuel, to name just a few, women, be they Jewish or Gentile, are looked at as nothing more than sex objects, slave girls, harem, servants and window dressings. Even the greatest of Jewish women, female nobles and alleged prophetesses, like Eve, Sarah, Rebecca, Leah, the daughters of Lot, Esther, and Deborah, also to name just a few, are depicted in the pages of the Jewish Bible as nothing but deceivers, prostitutes, deviants, warmongers and sex-mad wenches who only live to pump out children for their husband-overlords in service to their so-called ‘god’.

Taking all of this in, as unsettling as it is, is it not ABUNDANTLY clear why Jewish women are at such a horrible risk of being sexually attacked by woman-hating Jewish men in the Jewish “state”, an entity where Halakha (Jewish law) reigns supreme and “Jews can be Jews” without worrying about interference from those pesky, moral Gentile authorities? And is it not ABUNDANTLY clear why Jews engage in so much wanton violence against Gentile women, whether on the Zionist or Jewish Cultural Imperialist levels? If it still isn’t, allow me to spell it out for you one more time: IT’S THE JUDAISM STUPID.

Jewish-‘Israeli’ women wanna end their suffering? Firstly, leave Palestine because you don’t f****** belong there. And second of all, leave Judaism too while you’re at it. Learn how to be a human instead of a Gentile-hating supremacist, and a second-, even third-class Gentile-hating supremacist in the eyes of your coreligionist men at that. And then after you’ve freed yourself from the mental bondage, if you’re truly cleansed of the toxicity that is Judaism, find yourself a good-hearted, manly Gentile man who’s going to treat you like Lady Khadija (A.S.), Lady Fatima Az-Zahra (A.S.), Lady Asiya (A.S.) and Lady Maryam (A.S.), not a degenerate, Torah-loving, Talmudist aspiring rabbi who hates you and wakes up every morning to say a ‘prayer’ thanking Satan that he wasn’t born with a vagina.

Israel: 88,000 millionaires but 34% children live in poverty

The 2015 Global Wealth Report, published by Swiss investment bank Credit Suisse in October 2015, claimed that among five million Israeli Jews, there were 17 billionaires and 88,000 millionaires. According to the report, about 124,000 members of the world’s top percentile come from Israel. That proves Israel to be a rich parasite state.

In December 2015, Israel’s National Insurance Institute reported that 34% of Israeli children live below poverty line while 1.7 million Israeli families live in poverty.

No wonder the Holocaust Industry is on look to squeeze more blood from Western Christian nations. Recently, Jewish Lobby has even included Iran on its “Holocaust Suckers” list, not to mention that Iranian diplomat saved 2000 Jews from the Nazis.

Canadian journalist and author Greg Felton in his 2010 book, The Host and The Parasite: How Israel’s Fifth Column Consumed America, explains how American traitor politicians let Jewish Lobby rob US-taxpayers’ hard-earned money for Israel  and then uses a fraction of it to maintain their loyalty to a foreign regime. Though US lawmakers receive payments and support from the AIPAC in exchange for their loyalty to Israel, the American taxpayer is left footing the bill (watch video below).

The Zionist entity has received over $3 trillions in aid and soft-loans from Washington since 1970s. More than 46% of annual USAID goes to Israel. Israel also receives $3 billions military aid annually since 2009. It’s due to expire in 2017, and now Israel wants it to be increased to $4.5 billions in order to bless the US-Iran nuclear agreement.

If any other nation had received 10% of such privileges, the US lawmakers would have demanded its total loyalty to the US – but Israel is an exceptional case. Israel maintain its largest espionage network in America. Israeli jets bombed USS Liberty in 1967, killing 34 Americans and injuring over 170.

Even when two AIPAC employees were indicted on espionage charges in 2005, and it was determined that they had obtained classified US government information illegally and passed it to Israeli agents, the charges were quietly dropped on technicalities. AIPAC fired both employees and issued a statement that they were fired because their actions did not comport with AIPAC standards. One of the fired employees, Steven Rosen, filed a lawsuit for defamation, claiming his actions were, in fact, common practice at AIPAC.

Critics point out how much brighter our future would be if we had invested these billions or trillions in veteran rehabilitation and care, education, job creation, social security, housing, environmental clean-up and prevention, roads, bridges, health care, and scientific and health research. Or if Americans had simply held onto their tax dollars and used them as they saw fit, in our own economy. If some of the higher estimates are closer to the mark, our support for Israel could easily have covered the $700 billion TARP bailout with a great deal left over for massive stimulus spending and/or tax breaks.

If Israel were using these funds for a good purpose, one could debate whether the price was worth it. But Israel uses most of the money to prolong a 45-year military occupation (which regularly involves gross violations of international law), commit egregious human rights violations, and destroy billions of dollars worth of Palestinian homes and infrastructure while building illegal Jewish-only settlements on Palestinian land,” Pamela Olson wrote at Scott Net on April 2, 2013.

Israelis Shoot Another Teenage Girl

mansur

[ Ed. note – The seventeen-year-old “female terrorist” posed such a threat to the heavily armed Israelis that they just had to shoot her dead. Wasn’t any other choice. Or at least that’s their version of events. I keep waiting for the day when the Israelis shoot a pregnant woman and justify it on the grounds that the fetus was trying to stab someone. ]

BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) — A Palestinian teenage girl was shot and killed after she allegedly attempted to stab an Israeli border policewoman near the Ras Biddu checkpoint north of Jerusalem on Monday.

Israeli police spokesperson Luba al-Samri said in a statement that a “female terrorist” allegedly attempted to carry out a stabbing attack, adding that the Palestinian pulled out a knife and attempted to stab a female border guard stationed at the checkpoint. Another officer immediately fired gunshots at the Palestinian teen and “neutralized” her.

Israeli authorities routinely used the term “neutralize” in initial reports to indicate that a suspected attacker is no longer at large, sometimes indicating that the suspect has merely been apprehended or injured, though it is often revealed later to have meant the suspect was killed on the scene.

Al-Samri later confirmed that the Palestinian was killed on the scene. No injuries were reported among the Israeli soldiers.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health later identified the dead Palestinian teen as 17-year-old Sawsan Ali Dawud Mansur.

The deadly incident came hours after the bodies of two Palestinians siblings were released to their families — the last Palestinians to be shot dead by Israeli forces before Monday as part of a wave of unrest which began in the occupied Palestinian territory and Israel in October.

Maram Abu Ismail, a pregnant mother of two, and her teenage brother Ibrahim were shot and killed by a privately contracted Israeli security officer at the notorious Qalandiya checkpoint last month after they allegedly threw a knife in the direction of Israeli forces, despite eyewitness accounts reporting the two hadposed no threat to Israeli forces stationed at the site.

The Israeli Justice Ministry’s police investigation into the killings was droppedafter it was revealed that a privately contracted security guard had killed the two siblings, rather than an Israeli police officer as had previously been thought.

The recent wave of violence has left nearly 30 Israelis and 200 Palestinians dead since October. According to the UN, investigations showed that Israeli forces have in a number of instances since the unrest begun implementing a policy of extrajudicial execution, shooting dead Palestinians who did not present imminent threat at the time of their death.

Palestinian Women Land in Jail Over Facebook Posts

Thou Shalt Not Incite

[Ed. note – The favorite word of Israeli officials these days seems to be “incitement.” In the article below you will read about Palestinian women who have been thrown in Israeli jails for posting on Facebook–a total of 28 such women have been so arrested since last October, and one of the favored charges against them seems to be “incitement.” This at any rate is what 22-year-old Majd Atwan was convicted of.

Atwan, from the West Bank village of Al-Khader, near Bethlehem, was sentenced to 45 days in jail and fined 3,000 shekels (approximately $794)–all for a post on Facebook.

I don’t guess I need to remind people that two years ago Israeli Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked put up a Facebook post in which she referred to Palestinians as “snakes” and in essence called for a campaign of genocide against them–but Shaked was not arrested for incitement. And only just last month the following image surfaced–taken at a rally held by Israelis in support of a soldier who fired a bullet into the head of an unconscious Palestinian, killing him. To my knowledge, the lady never got hauled away to jail, even though the sign she is holding is about the most blatant form of incitement you could imagine.

 photo ktaisrael1_zpsn1mhec7u.jpg

We have additionally had prominent Israeli rabbis calling for Palestinians to be killed, with one even calling it a “religious duty,” though not a single one seems to have been arrested for counseling in such a manner.

So what did Atwan post on Facebook that the Israelis found so objectionable? It seems to have been this picture:

 photo hamid_zpseu0pml88.jpg

The image was posted to Atwan’s Facebook timeline on April 22. This was four days after a bus bombing in Jerusalem, and just one day after the bomber was identified as 19-year-old Abdul Hamid Abu Srour. I can’t tell you what the writing within the photo says (presumably it at least gives the young man’s name), but I can give you the words that Atwan posted along with the photo when she posted it:

وتزنر يا ابو البشاير …. ‫#‏بحزام_الناسف‬ عالداير .

الاستشهادي عبد الحميد سرور

Facebook translations from Arabic to English are a little rough sometimes, and this one seems to be no exception, but this is how it comes out:

The DIODE ABO LBSHẠYR…. ‪#‎Belt‬ _ Blaster about deyr rains.
Happy Hybrid Martyr Abdul Hamid

Why does Atwan refer to Abu Srour as a “hybrid” martyr? I haven’t an answer to that. All I can tell you is that according to the Times of Israel, 20 Israelis were injured in the blast, one of them–a 15-year-old girl–critically; Abu Srour himself, however, was the only fatality, according to the report.

There are several different ways of looking at all of this. There is what might be thought of as the “typically Western” perspective, which goes something like this: Abu Srour despicably set out to commit mass bloodshed and murder on a bus loaded with civilians, and for a 22-year-old girl to pay tribute to him on Facebook–well, it is misguided and stupid at best.

Then there is the Palestinian perspective (or at least the perspective of some Palestinians). Here, Abu Srour was not only resisting a brutal occupation but retaliating for horrendous crimes that have occurred over the course of that occupation’s 68 interminable years–crimes such as the Deir Yassin massacre of 1948, the Kafr Qasim massacre of 1956, and the attack on Gaza in 2014–crimes for which there has never been a reckoning, and toward which the West not only has turned a blind eye but in some cases, such as the US with its billions of dollars of military assistance each year, bears criminal responsibility for.

And then finally there is what might be thought of as the “fed-up-with-hypocrisy-and-double-standards” perspective. Falling into this category are those of us who have taken note of the fact that the word “terrorist” is inevitably applied to enemies of Israel but never to Israel itself–this irregardless of how many white phosphorous bombs and flechette bombs might rain down upon Gaza civilians or how many missiles may destroy apartment buildings full of families with children, and of course we also note that while Israelis are quick to condemn Palestinian “terrorists,” they often lionize Jews who do similar things.

In 1946, members of the Jewish terror organization Irgun bombed the King David Hotel in Jerusalem, killing 91 people. In July of 2006–exactly 60 years later–Israelis unveiled a plaque commemorating the event and paying homage to the terrorists.

The Irgun group got started in 1936, and one of its most famous members, Menachem Begin, went on to become a prime minister of Israel. But there is yet another Irgun terrorist who is also given special recognition today, and that is Shlomo Ben-Yosef.

In 1938, Ben-Yosef was hanged by the British mandate, this after he and others threw grenades in a failed effort to kill the passengers aboard a Palestinian bus. Trying to kill people on a bus…hmm…sounds very similar to Abu Srour, does it not? Maybe the Israelis should have written Ben-Yosef off as a “hybrid martyr” and left it at that. But no. Instead they named streets after him.

Today in Israel there are streets named after Shlomo Ben-Yosef in a number of cities, including Tel Aviv, Acre and Herzliya. Vehicles travel down them, people live and work on them…this while we watch Palestinian women being carted off to jail for posting things on Facebook.

sbystreet

Google maps view of Shlomo Ben Yosef street in Acre

It all serves to underscore the fact that Israel is an apartheid state. There is one set of law for Jews. And a separate set of laws for Palestinians. This is the essence of apartheid. And this is the essence of Israel.

Moreover, what pops its head up each morning when the sun rises over Occupied Palestine and its various incarnations of Shlomo Ben Yosef streets is an apartheid state which at the same time very much likes to pretend to be a democracy, at least on talk shows in the United States…and in this we have the essence of hypocrisy as well.

In Israel, the words “Thou shalt not incite” in reality mean, “Thou shalt not incite against Jews.”]

Israel Arrests 28 Women Over FB Posts

Days of Palestine

Days of Palestine, West Bank -Israeli occupation has arrested 28 Palestinian women over Facebook posts since October, Palestinian Prisoner Centre for Studies (PPCS) said on Wednesday.

Ages of the women arrested ranged between 19 and 39, the PPCS director Riyad al-Ashqar said, noting most of them were released after days of interrogation and bad treatment.

He also stated that eight of the women are being held under the illegal administrative detention inside the Israeli jails.

One of the prominent women, Al-Ashqar said, is Samah Dweik, 25, from occupied East Jerusalem, who is a journalist in The Jerusalem Network. She was kidnapped from her home on April 10 after posting and sharing pictures in support for a Palestinians recently killed by Israeli forces.

Another one, who is pictures went viral on social media, is Majd Atwan. She was sentenced by an Israeli court earlier this month to 45 days in prison and a 3,000 shekel ($794) fine over charges of incitement on her Facebook account.

In recent months, Israel has detained scores of Palestinians for social media activity, alleging that a wav

More Cold Blooded Murder

[Ed. note – Well…it’s really getting hard to tell the Israelis from ISIS these days. Maybe in the near future we’re going to need something like a Pepsi challenge to try and detect the difference between them. Or maybe it’s reached the point where we’re already in need of one now.

Then again, maybe there’s no difference between Israel and ISIS at all, and perhaps they’re in reality one and the same. That’s certainly a possibility. At any rate, what we have in the photo above are the bodies of a brother and sister who were shot to death this morning by an Israeli police officer. And it looks like another divinely given teaching moment, for of course the murder of the two siblings comes just a day or so after the Obama administration announced its support for a “memorandum of understanding” calling for a hefty increase in military aid to Israel. Well, I guess if we’re going to give weapons to the head choppers of ISIS, then to be perfectly consistent we’d want to give them to the Israelis as well. That would make sense, wouldn’t it?

At any rate the article below, from Ma’an News, tells of the deaths this morning of 23-year-old Maram Ismail and her 16-year-old brother, Ibrahim. It is another tragedy, another transgression against God carried out by the Israelis. ]

Witnesses: Palestinian siblings posed no threat when shot dead

Ma’an News

RAMALLAH (Ma’an) — Witnesses to an alleged stab attempt on Israeli border police at a military checkpoint in the occupied West Bank Wednesday said two siblings shot dead during the incident posed no threat at the time the Israeli officer killed them.

Witnesses told Ma’an that 23-year-old Maram Salih Hassan Abu Ismail, five months pregnant, and her 16-year-old brother Ibrahim were en route to Jerusalem when they took a path intended for vehicles, not pedestrians, into Qalandiya checkpoint near Ramallah. The two were apparently unable to understand Israeli officers yelling in Hebrew, and stopped walking.

Witnesses said it appeared that Ibrahim attempted to grab his sister’s hand and move away from the officers, when they opened fire on her. Maram fell to the ground and when Ibrahim attempted to aid her, he was shot in his tracks.

A Palestinian bus driver present at the scene, Muhammad Ahmad, told Ma’an that the Israeli officer who opened fire on Maram was standing behind a cement block some 20 meters away from her at the time. The driver said it did not appear that Maram or her brother posed any threat when the officer shot them.

Maram Abu Esmael aged 24 has been executed this morning @Qalandia with another on who still unknown

Palestinian local and witness to the incident Ahmad Taha told Ma’an that Israeli officers approached the two after they had been shot and had fallen to the ground before opening fire on them again “to ensure that they were dead,” adding that the officers “could have moved the two away without opening fire.”

Taha alleged that the officers planted knives on the scene, photographs of which were distributed by Israeli police who said they had been in Maram and Ibrahim’s possession.

Ibrahim Taha, 15, who was shot & killed by IOF in Jerusalem today while he shielded his sister who was shot 15X

The witness accounts collected following the incident contradict Israeli police reports that the officer opened fire after Maram threw a knife in their direction.

Local sources said Maram was the mother of a six and four-year-old, and five months pregnant. She had reportedly obtained a permit from the Israeli authorities to enter Jerusalem for the first time when she was crossing on Wednesday.

Maram and her 16-year-old brother are among over 200 Palestinians to be killed by Israeli forces or settlers since October, the majority during small-scale attacks that have left nearly 30 Israelis dead.

Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip denounced the deaths Wednesday and called for continued resistance against the Israeli occupation.

Daoud Shihab, spokesperson of the Islamic Jihad movement, referred to their deaths as an “execution,” while Fawzi Barhum of Hamas said the move by the Israeli officer to shoot the two was “systematic terrorism” and a “hideous crime that has crossed all red lines,” adding that the “crime would not go without punishment.”

Maram and Ibrahim’s deaths come in the wake of mass criticism towards what has been termed Israel’s policy of “extrajudicial executions” towards Palestinians, which most recently came under spotlight after an Israeli soldier was caught on film shooting a prone Palestinian through the head from point blank range.

Sara and Remas the doughters of Maram Abu Esma’el who was executed this morning on her way to the hospital

Israel’s excessive use of force against Palestinians has brought allegations from local and international NGOs, senior UN officials and foreign leaders, and prominent US congressmen that Israeli forces regularly carry out unlawful killings.

Popular Palestinian support for stab attacks — widely explained by Palestinian and international leadership as a natural response to the effects of the ongoing Israeli military occupation — has hovered below fifty percent for the past two months, according to polls, coinciding with a relative drop in the frequency of such attacks that initially surged in October.

A reduction in stab attacks has been attributed to security coordination between the Palestinian Authority and Israel, as well as to general public sentiments that the attacks are not effective in resistance against the occupation, according to polls.

Relative of Murdered Palestinian Teen Mohammed Abu Khdeir Beaten Up in Jerusalem

His family says police refused to launch an investigation unless the victim files it himself.

A 63-year-old Palestinian was attacked Thursday night in Jerusalem by unknown assailants. As of Saturday evening, the police have yet to launch an investigation.

The man, Zoheir Abu Khdeir, a resident of East Jerusalem’s Shoafat neighborhood who works at an Egged bus parking lot, was beaten severely by at least two men. According to relatives, Abu Khdeir described the attackers as Jewish.

killing

Abu Khdeir is a cousin of Hussein Abu Khdeir, the father of Mohammed Abu Khdeir, the teen who was abducted and murdered by three Jewish assailants in revenge for the murder of three Jewish teens in 2014.

Zoheir Abu Khdeir was diagnosed with a broken nose, a severe cut to the face and bruises to his eyes and head. He had to receive 12 stitches and was hospitalized overnight.

According to his family, he is in a dazed state and has trouble describing what happened. His eyes are almost shut by the bruises, the family said.

About an hour after the assault, a family member called the police but was told Abu Khdeir would have to come to the station and file a complaint. His relatives said they told the police emergency line that they had photos of the car Abu Khdeir’s friends said was connected to the assailants. But the police did not launch an investigation.

On Friday, Abu Khdeir’s son went to the police station in Neveh Ya’akov in north Jerusalem, not far from Shoafat. Still, the police refused to take his complaint and said Abu Khdeir would have to come to the police station himself. According to the family, the doctors who treated Abu Khdeir filed a police report.

In the summer of 2014, two days before Mohammed Abu Khdeir’s murder, Shoafat residents complained to the police that Jewish men had tried to abduct a 9-year-old boy in the neighborhood. The residents said the police did not take their complaint seriously enough, later enabling Mohammed Abu Khdeir’s abduction and murder.

It later emerged that the three suspects in Abu Khdeir’s murder had tried to kidnap the 9-year-old boy two days earlier.

“We don’t want it to be like it was with Mohammed, that the police did nothing,” Majed Abu Khdeir, the victim’s brother, said on Thursday night. “What would happen if the opposite had happened, if a Jew had been beaten up? An arrest within minutes.”

The Jerusalem police said they had no record of a complaint to the police hotline or the station.

“The incident was not reported to the police,” they said. “The relevant officials have been informed, and if he indeed cannot come to the station, a policeman will go to him tomorrow to take his statement properly.”

124 Palestinians Left Homeless After Israeli Demolitions

Ma’an News

BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) — Multiple demolitions in the occupied West Bank left 124 Palestinians homeless in a single day, 60 of them children, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) said in a statement Friday.

A total of 54 structures — including 18 donor-funded structures — were demolished on Thursday in nine different communities located in Area C, the over 60 percent of the West Bank under full Israeli military control.

The northern occupied West Bank village of Khirbet Tana saw its fourth demolition this year on Thursday. Israeli authorities demolished 34 structures in the village displacing 69 Palestinians, 29 of them children.

“Many of the demolished structures (in Khirbet Tana) had been provided by donors as relief after earlier demolitions,” UNOCHA’s statement added.

Khirbet Tana lies in an Israeli-declared military training zone, known as a “firing zone,” which rights groups say Israel intends to fully annex.

Further demolitions in the central West Bank village of Nilin included structures of businesses that employed a combined 87 Palestinians.

Demolitions also took place in the village of al-Zayyem near Abu Dis east of Jerusalem and al-Khader in the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem where residential, animal, and livelihood structures were demolished.

The extensive Israeli Civil Administration campaign included five Bedouin communities where UNOCHA recorded the demolition of 14 structures, which displaced 55 people, including 31 children.

The Bedouin communities affected by Thursday’s demolitions are among 46 Palestinian Bedouin communities in the central occupied West Bank at risk of being affected by forcible transfer by Israeli authorities as well the E1 settlement plan.

The E1 settlement plan aims to divide the West Bank through the expansion of the illegal Israeli settlement Maale Adummim, making the creation of a contiguous Palestinian state – as envisaged by the internationally backed two-state solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict – almost impossible.

A further 293 people, including 98 children, were otherwise affected by Thursday’s demolition campaign, UNOCHA added.

According to UN figures, Israeli authorities have demolished 539 structures in the occupied Palestinian territory’s Area C since the beginning of 2016, compared to a total of 453 in 2015.

So far in 2016, 805 people have been displaced as a result of the demolitions, while 580 had been left homeless for all of 2015.

Thursdays wave of demolitions adding to the record-high number of Palestinians displaced comes as the Palestinian Authority is expected to present a draft resolution condemning Israeli settlements to the UN Security Council in two weeks.

The resolution will be the first to directly condemn Israeli settlements as illegal under international law since the United States vetoed a similar resolution in 2011.

Despite repeated condemnations by the international community, Israel has come under little actual pressure to halt its settlement program, land seizures, or the forced displacement of Palestinian communities.

Major shareholders of Genie Energy – which also has interests in shale gas in the United States and shale oil in Israel – include Rupert Murdoch and Lord Jacob Rothschild. This from a 2010 Genie Energy press release:

Claude Pupkin, CEO of Genie Oil and Gas, commented, “Genie’s success will ultimately depend, in part, on access to the expertise of the oil and gas industry and to the financial markets. Jacob Rothschild and Rupert Murdoch are extremely well regarded by and connected to leaders in these sectors. Their guidance and participation will prove invaluable.”

“I am grateful to Howard Jonas and IDT for the opportunity to invest in this important initiative,” Lord Rothschild said. “Rupert Murdoch’s extraordinary achievements speak for themselves and we are very pleased he has agreed to be our partner. Genie Energy is making good technological progress to tap the world’s substantial oil shale deposits which could transform the future prospects of Israel, the Middle East and our allies around the world.”

For Israel to seek to exploit mineral reserves in the occupied Golan Heights is plainly illegal in international law. Japan was succesfully sued by Singapore before the International Court of Justice for exploitation of Singapore’s oil resources during the second world war. The argument has been made in international law that an occupying power is entitled to opeate oil wells which were previously functioning and operated by the sovereign power, in whose position the occupying power now stands. But there is absolutely no disagreement in the authorities and case law that the drilling of new wells – let alone fracking – by an occupying power is illegal.

Israel tried to make the same move twenty years ago but was forced to back down after a strong reaction from the Syrian government, which gained diplomatic support from the United States. Israel is now seeking to take advantage of the weakened Syrian state; this move perhaps casts a new light on recent Israeli bombings in Syria.

In a rational world, the involvement of Rothschild and Murdoch in this international criminal activity would show them not to be fit and proper persons to hold major commercial interests elsewhere, and action would be taken. Naturally, nothing of the kind will happen.

A Comparison of Jewish Behavior…2,000 Years Ago and Today

Sharifexecution

Two thousand years ago a mob of Jews stood on a paved walkway outside of Pilate’s residence in Jerusalem and screamed for Jesus’ crucifixion.

This past week, a group of Israeli soldiers and medics stood about a dying Palestinian man lying prone upon a street, offering him no medical assistance–just as one of the soldiers stepped forward and pumped a bullet into the man’s head.

The question we might ask ourselves is what do these two incidents, spaced 2,000 years apart, tell us about Jewish behavior? Do they suggest a pattern? Maybe even an historical one?

msj

Recently I published my second novel, The Memoirs of Saint John: When the Sandstone Crumbles. The book has a lengthy section in it set in Alexandria in 38 AD. One of the first pogroms against Jews in recorded history took place in the Egyptian city at that time, and the events which unfolded, including a massive explosion of violence against Jews, serve as the story’s backdrop.

Here’s a true fact–a man named Philo lived in Alexandria in those days. He was one of the wealthiest, most prominent Jews of the city, and he also happened to be a prolific writer. You can do a search and turn up a number of his treatises on the Internet today. One of these is entitled “Embassy to Gaius,” in which he referred to the native Egyptians as “a seed bed of evil in whose souls both the venom and the temper of the native crocodiles and asps were reproduced.” Philo, though highly respected by Jewish scholars today, was, as you can see, a bit of a racist.

The population of Alexandria at the time was comprised mainly of three different groups. There were the Native Egyptians, the Greeks, and the Jews. Considerable tensions existed between the Jews, on the one hand, and the Greeks and Native Egyptians on the other. The Native Egyptians by and large tended to work as laborers for Jewish traders and shopkeepers, though some excelled in a variety of other endeavors including philosophy and sciences.

In addition to his supremacist attitude toward the Egyptians, Philo also managed to enrage Greek scholars at the Museion–the sector that housed the city’s famed library–by insisting that Plato had gotten all his ideas from Moses. The Greeks, of course, revered Plato, much in the way that the Jews venerated Moses. A brouhaha ensued, particularly after Philo asserted that Moses had been in essence “the very summit of philosophy.”

An Egyptian scholar jumped into the fray by arguing that the ancient Israelites had not actually escaped from Egypt, as their books maintain, but had in reality been expelled–while a Greek scholar interjected, by way of elaboration, that the expulsion had been due to the Israelites being “scabby and leprous.”

Thus, as we see, tensions in the city were seething under the surface–at virtually every level of society. It was in essence a “perfect storm” waiting to engulf the Jews of Alexandria. And it did indeed engulf them.

One of the things I noticed when I started studying the events of 38 AD is the striking parallel between Jewish behavior at that time and what we see occurring in Occupied Palestine today. In fact, it was one of the reasons I wrote the novel.

For 275 years–from 305 BC up to 30 BC–Alexandria was under the rule of a family dynasty known as the Ptolemies. During this time the city was subdivided into five districts, each named after the first five letters of the Greek alphabet. The Jews were assigned the Delta district with the stipulation that they remain in that district and not move into other areas of the city. This took place under one of the early Ptolemy leaders, who also accorded the Jews a large measure of self-government. The privileges extended to them included the right to practice their own religion according to their own laws, with a Jewish ethnarch to preside over their civil affairs whose power was officially recognized by the Ptolemy kings. The Ptolemies had in effect rendered Jews independent of the council and civic government of the city as a whole, though as I say, there was one stipulation–that they remain in the Delta district.

But in the following years, the Jewish population grew, and eventually leave was given them to expand into a second district. Into a third district they also moved, followed by a fourth, until, by 38 AD, Jews could be found living in all five districts of the city. This in itself probably would have brought them into conflict with the other two ethnic groups, but Jews were granted additional licenses as well.

The lone Jewish ethnarch had been replaced by a Gerousia, which had 71 members–just like the Sanhedrin in Jerusalem. Theoretically, the Gerousia was subject to the authority of Flaccus, the Roman-appointed governor of Egypt, but Jews also had considerable political influence in Rome. Herod Agrippa, part Jewish, was best friends with the emperor Gaius. The two were old school chums, and Gaius appointed Agrippa as king over a vast swath of territory, including most of Palestine as well as parts of what is today Syria.

In Alexandria itself, Jews equally held political influence. Despite being presided over by their own Gerousia, through which they conducted their own civil affairs, they also held administrative posts in the city government. In fact, Philo’s brother, a man named Alexander, held the position of alabarch, making him the chief customs official for both of the city’s harbors. He was widely suspected of corruption.

The riots against the Jews started in early August that year, and ended up with Jewish shops being plundered and with Jews being bound and dragged through the streets. The anger had been building for nearly three centuries, and suddenly it found release in an explosion of pent-up fury. A “court” was set up in the city’s theater. Here Jews were taken, accused of crimes, and subsequently found guilty. Some were killed, others were stripped of their clothing and flogged in front of an audience of cheering spectators. The flogged and chastened included a group of 38 members of the Gerousia who had been captured and paraded through the streets.

All of these events are described in my novel. What I see in Palestine today is notexactly the same, but it does have certain similarities. Glaring examples of Jewish supremacism can of course be seen on display in modern day Israel. For instance, compare Philo’s quote about the Native Egyptians–that they are “a seed bed of evil in whose souls both the venom and the temper of the native crocodiles and asps were reproduced”–with remarks about the Palestinians by Israeli “Justice” Minister Ayelet Shaked:

They are all enemy combatants, and their blood shall be on all their heads. Now this also includes the mothers of the martyrs, who send them to hell with flowers and kisses. They should follow their sons, nothing would be more just. They should go, as should the physical homes in which they raised the snakes. Otherwise, more little snakes will be raised there.

Crocodiles and asps…little snakes. You get my drift. Striking, striking similarities! And of course, compare the expansion out of the Delta district by Alexandria’s Jews with the expansion of Israeli settlements in the West Bank.

Note also what Shaked said regarding blood, namely that the Palestinian’s “blood shall be on all their heads,” and then look at Matthew 27:25. “Then answered all the people, and said, ‘His blood be on us and on our children.’” It has often been the contention of Jews that passages like this from the gospels are nothing more than fabrications by anti-Semites–but the extent to which we see Israel now validating the portrayals of Jews in the New Testament is little short of amazing!

This past week a video (the lower one above) went viral all over the world. What it shows is an Israeli soldier stepping up toward Abdul Sharif and firing a bullet into his head. You can’t make out Sharif’s features too well in video above, but in the photo below, he is the one on the right.

photo qasrasharif_zpsnnigi8fv.jpgBoth Sharif and Ramzi Aziz Qasrawi were shot after an alleged stabbing attack on an Israeli soldier in the West Bank city of Hebron. Both died. Both were 21 years old.

The video has created an international uproar. Clearly Sharif had been subdued and posed no threat to anyone. So why did the soldier shoot him in the head? What was going through his mind?

The shooting took place in the morning hours of Thursday, March 24. The day was a holiday in Israel. The holiday, Purim, marks the massacre of thousands of Gentiles, as related in the Old Testament book of Esther. The shooting took place in the same area of Hebron where a Purim celebration was scheduled to be held later that day. Here is a video showing a portion of that celebration:

The celebrants seem oblivious to the international outrage that was, at that very time, beginning to brew. Israeli officials, however, were not oblivious, and a few were exerting efforts at damage control. One of these was Brigadier Gen. Moti Almoz.

“As far as the orders given to soldiers are concerned, the moment terrorists are neutralized, soldiers are supposed to immediately give medical assistance to the wounded, including the terrorists,” Almoz claimed. “This is the IDF, these are the values of the IDF, and this is not up for interpretation. We are unambiguous about this.”

photo almoz_zpsfovdroa7.jpgThe general, in other words, was attempting pass off the atrocity as nothing more than a stunning aberration. Nothing like this has ever happened before!

“This is not the IDF culture or the Jewish peoples’ culture,” he insisted.

Perhaps Almoz hasn’t heard the news that Israel is a sick society, as confessed by the country’s own president.

For most of us, I guess, it would be hard to conceive of a country where people are left to bleed on the street as being anything other than a sick society, and as one writer put it, “Maybe even worse than the murder itself is the fact that no one in the vicinity seems at all moved by it.”

The timeline of events is kind of interesting. On March 15, just nine days before Sharif’s execution, Israel announced it had seized 579 acres of Palestinian land near the Dead Sea for construction of Jewish settlements as well as tourism enterprises. It was the largest confiscation in recent years. Two days later, on March 17, the act was condemned by the EU, but then on March 21, a brand new land grab was announced, of approximately 296 additional acres, near Nablus. Then came the brutal killing in Hebron, captured on videotape. Much of the world’s attention at the time was focused on Belgium, which had experience a bloody terrorist attack just the day before, but the video that emerged from Hebron was so shocking it even managed to upstage the images from Brussels.

On Friday, the day after Purim, Ma’an News reported that the Palestinian cameraman who had shot the video had become the target of threats and harassment. Meanwhile, Aymen Odeh, a Palestinian member of the Israeli Knessett, tweeted that “Israel has turned in recent months into a place in which executions are carried out in public with the encouragement of cheering mobs.” Others were tweeting similar things.

Observations like Odeh’s are being made more and more frequently these days–by Jews as well as non-Jews–both inside and outside of Israel.

“Our collective moral compass has become so fundamentally twisted that even the most decent of people, those who are not considered extremists, believe that there is nothing wrong with shooting a man as he lies dying on the ground,” writes Jewish Israeli Orly Noy.

“One of the more dangerous and frustrating aspects of the fascism taking over the Jewish-Israeli public, led by its elected officials, is the way it is fed by every single thing that happens here. Nearly every piece of news pushes this process forward — even events that should serve as a warning sign,” she adds.

Another astute observer is US author E. Michael Jones. In an interview with Press TV last December, Jones said what we’re seeing in Israel now, both with regard to the killing of Palestinians as well as the theft of their lands, is a rebellion against what the Greeks referred to a logos, or “reason.”

“Reasonable people know that you can’t steal the property of other people, but these are not reasonable people,” said Jones–and what we are witnessing now is “the internal logic of Zionism.” He went on to add:

They stole the land in 1948. They’re going to keep stealing the land until some type of external force stops them from stealing the land, because when you don’t have reason, you don’t recognize any boundaries. You expand and you expand until you are stopped from the outside…What they’re doing is basically turning world opinion against themselves, and we’re in for a long process, of basically the change–the Jews, the Israelis, the Zionists acting in a way that will lead to their total ostracism by civilized people throughout the world.

The “long process” Jones alludes to is actually a long and lengthy repetition of cycles–of Jews entering a country or region, followed by a pogrom or expulsion of them or their descendants from the same area some years, decades, or centuries later. The list here shows 109 such expulsions over a period beginning in 250 AD and running through 1948.

Taking some of this history perhaps into account, Theodore Herzl, regarded as the father of modern Zionism, made a rather telling observation in his book, Der Judenstaat, or The Jewish State:

The Jewish question persists wherever Jews live in appreciable numbers. Wherever it does not exist, it is brought in together with Jewish immigrants. We are naturally drawn into those places where we are not persecuted, and our appearance there gives rise to persecution. This is the case, and will inevitably be so, everywhere, even in highly civilised countries—see, for instance, France—so long as the Jewish question is not solved on the political level.

Herzl thought the only way Jews would ever be able to avoid anti-Semitism was by having a state of their own. But if the mere “appearance” of Jews in a new place naturally “gives rise to persecution,” as he put it, how would it be possible for such a people to found a state that would or ever could live in peace with its neighbors? This is what Herzl seemingly failed to take into consideration.

Two Palestinians Killed, One Israeli Seriously Injured, In Jerusalem

Wednesday March 09, 2016 12:30 by IMEMC News

Israeli sources have reported, on Wednesday morning, that the soldiers have killed two Palestinians in Jerusalem, and that one Israeli was injured, in two separate attacks in the city.

kharroub_kalouti.jpg

The sources said that the two Palestinians reportedly rammed an Israeli with their car, near Bab al-‘Amoud area, in Jerusalem, seriously wounding him.

The sources added that the two Palestinians were also behind a shooting attack, carried out earlier on Wednesday, in “Ramat Shlomo” northwest of Jerusalem.

The slain Palestinians have been identified as Abdul-Malek Saleh Abu Kharroub, 19, and Mohammad Jamal al-Kalouti, 21, from Kafr ‘Aqab town, north of Jerusalem, the Palestinian Health Ministry said.

According to the military, the two fired several live rounds on a settlement bus, before the police and the army chased them, and installed many additional roadblocks, in an attempt to arrest them.

They were both shot dead after carrying out the second attack, the Israeli military alleged.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan (Silwanic) said the two were killed in the New Gate area, in Jerusalem, after exchanging fire with Israeli soldiers.

The Israeli police said the it chased a vehicle matching the description of the car that fled following the shooting in Ramat Shlomo, and that two Palestinians opened fire on the soldiers after they managed to stop their car.

The Health Ministry said the soldiers left the two Palestinians bleeding near their car, and that one of them died on the scene while the other died in an Israeli ambulance later.

In addition, a Palestinian, identified as Emad Abu Ali, 56, suffered a serious gunshot injury in his head, while walking in the New Gate area, when the fire exchange took place.

The Israeli army and police closed the New Gate Street, near Notre Dame Hotel, and imposed a strict siege on the area, extending between the New Gate area and the al-Misrara neighborhood, all the way to Bab al-‘Amoud, Sultan Suleiman Street, Sahera Gate and Salaheddin Street, where hundreds of soldiers and military police officers were deployed, and installed dozens of roadblocks.

American tourist killed, 12 Israelis wounded

Three Palestinians were shot dead allegedly carrying out separate attacks in Israel and occupied East Jerusalem, killing one American tourist and wounding at least 12 Israelis, on Tuesday afternoon and evening.

shooting2maan_1.jpg

In the first deadly encounter, shortly before 5 p.m., an Israeli police spokesperson said that a Palestinian man was shot dead after he allegedly stabbed and wounded an Israeli man near Petah Tikva, about seven miles east of Tel Aviv.

The wounded Israeli has been identified as Yonatan Ezriyahav, 39. Israeli police forces reportedly arrived on the scene and killed the suspect on site, according to Maan News. It was added that Israeli forces closed the area for investigation.

In this video, an onlooker can be heard to shout: “Die, you fucker! Die, you fucker.. die, you son of a whore! Do not call for an ambulance, let him die!”

The Palestinian was later identified as Abdul-Rahman Raddad, aged 18, from al-Zawiya village, in the occupied West Bank district of Salfit.

Minutes later, another Palestinian was shot dead after allegedly firing gunshots at Israeli police forces near Salaheddin Street. in occupied East Jerusalem, injuring two Israeli officers.

He has been identified as Fuad Abu Qathaf Abdullah Abu Rajab, 21. He was shot and killed in the ensuing gun clashes.

His family said Israeli security officers has officially informed them, on Wednesday evening, that their son was killed and two officers were injured.

The soldiers also detained and interrogated Abu Rajab’s father, his uncle and his cousin, before allowing the father to see his son’s body. His mother will be interrogated, Wednesday.

Mohammad Abu al-Hummus, of the Follow-Up Committee in the al-‘Eesawiyya town in Jerusalem, said dozens of soldiers surrounding the Tamimi home and fired many rubber-coated steel bullets and gas bombs on the residents, who gathered in the area.

He added that the soldiers photographed the interior and exterior of the Tamimi family home, and took measurements, a procedure the army conducts to prepare for demolishing homes.

The father remained in custody for further interrogation, Abu al-Hummus said.

A spokesperson for Hadassah Israeli Medical Center, in Jerusalem, later said both Israeli officers had been hit in the head. One of them, aged 47, was in critical condition, fighting for his life, while the other, 31, was in moderate condition.

Israeli online daily Haaretz said two border police officers were injured in the Jerusalem attack, and that one of them was wounded while exchanging fire with the Palestinian shooter, and the second during the pursuit that followed it.

Haaretz added that one officer, 49, suffered a serious injury, while the other, 31, suffered a moderate injury.

Shortly after 6 p.m., Israeli police reported a third attack near the port in Jaffa city, with a young Palestinian man shot dead after he stabbed an American tourist, 29, to death and wounded, at least, eleven Israelis.

The Palestinian was identified as 22-year-old Bashar Masalha from the village of al-Zawiya, in the Qalqilia district of occupied West Bank.

Israeli Ynet News said the American citizen was pronounced dead directly after arriving at the Wolfson Medical Center, in Holon, and that six wounded persons were moved to Icholov Medical Center, also in Holon.

One of the wounded is a pregnant woman who suffered a moderate injury, and two of the wounded were released after receiving treatment for minor wounds.

The Ynet News added that two wounded persons were moved to the Sheba Medical Center, in Tel HaShomer, and that one of them suffered a serious injury, two suffered moderate wounds and one was lightly injured.

Audio translation: “In the head, shoot him in the head, brother! All respect, you are a king! Like that! In the head!” Then another voice can be heard: “If he is lying on the ground, why don’t you shoot him directly?”

Intel Minister: Israel in State of War After Multiple Stabbing Attacks

Vows to Seek Expulsion of Attackers’ Relatives as Military Surrounds Villages

by Jason Ditz, March 08, 2016

An American university student was killed and 13 other people were wounded today in Israel, some of them seriously, in a “stabbing rampage” in Tel Aviv and Jaffa. All three attackers were killed by Israeli police, and officials say no one else is suspected of involvement in any of the incidents.

With one civilian killed and the attackers all dead, Israeli Intelligence Minister Yisrael Katz declared the situation as a state of war for Israel, dubbing it the result of an “intifada of incitement” and vowing to push a parliamentary bill through allowing the government to expel all relatives of the attackers, whether they were involved in the attacks or not.

Suggesting a further crackdown on people not involved in the attack, the Israeli military also announced a full-scale closure on the West Bank villages of Zawia and Auja on the grounds that two of the attackers were originally from those villages.

A fourth “attacker,” not actually involved in any attacks, was also reported killed, an unnamed 51-year-old woman who police say had a knife on her near a checkpoint.

Meet the 14-Year-Old Palestinian Girl from Nabi Saleh

Ahmed Tamimi from Anna Surinyach on Vimeo.

[ Ed. note – Ahmed Tamimi is a young Palestinian girl who has featured prominently in a number of videos, cutting a rather striking figure at least as much for her blondish hair as her courage in the face of the occupation forces aligned against her and her people. You can go here to see a video from a few years ago in which she can be seen shaking her fists as she confronts a group of Israeli soldiers following their arrest of her brother, or scroll down below to see one from last summer in which she figured prominently in a wrestling match between a group of Palestinian women and a soldier trying to arrest a child. As you will see on the video, they succeeded in thwarting the arrest. Quite a kid, although maybe I shouldn’t call her that. Maybe the word “warrior” would be more fitting.

At any rate, things in Nabi Saleh, Ahmed’s village, are not so good these days. After the video of the soldier’s humiliation went viral, the town began to be subjected to harsher treatment, and as the article below reports, the Israeli military is now using a new and more dangerous tear gas projectile against the people.]

The Demonstrators of Nabi Saleh Face New Dangers from Israel

ISM

The residents of Nabi Saleh have been holding weekly demonstrations since 2009 in protest of the zionist regimes illegal occupation of the village’s land along with the takeover of the village’s spring located near the illegal Israeli settlement of Halamish. The Israeli authorities ordered that certain ammenities that have since been placed by the illegal settlers be demolished, however this order has not been carried out.

In December 2011 at one of the weekly protests in Nabi Saleh, a soldier fired a high velocity tear gas canister to the chest of Mustafa Tamimi from close range. Mustafa was killed from the injuries that he sustained.

Nabi Saleh has recently faced more intense targeting from the Israeli army after a video was published of an Israeli soldier wrestling 12 year old boy Muhammad Tamimi who was beaten by the soldier and jammed between rocks whilst his mother and sister tried wrestling him away from the soldier. The video has since become a symbol of the excessive force used on Palestinian children by the occupying forces.
