Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah is slated to deliver a televised speech on Thursday, May 25, to commemorate Resistance and Liberation Day. The speech is scheduled to begin at 20:45 (Local Time).
On May 25, 2000, the Israeli occupation army concluded its withdrawal from the majority of Lebanese territories, with the exception of Shebaa Farms and KfarShuba Hills. This withdrawal was prompted by the significant losses inflicted upon the Israeli army as a result of successful strikes by the Resistance.
Resistance and Liberation Day, celebrated on May 25th, commemorates a significant event in Lebanese history. In 2000, this day marked the completion of the Israeli occupation army’s withdrawal from most of the Lebanese territories.
Prior to the withdrawal, Lebanon had been under Israeli occupation for nearly two decades, starting in 1982 during the Israeli invasion of Lebanon. The occupation had a profound impact on the country, causing widespread suffering and displacement among the Lebanese population.
During the occupation, Hezbollah, a Lebanese political and military organization, emerged as a prominent resistance force along with other resistance groups in Lebanon. Engaging in guerrilla warfare tactics and armed resistance, Hezbollah played a crucial role in opposing the Israeli presence and resisting their military operations.
The Resistance strikes carried out by Hezbollah and other resistance groups inflicted heavy losses upon the Israeli army, leading to a significant shift in the dynamics of the conflict. As a result, on May 25, 2000, the Israeli occupation army completed its withdrawal from most of the Lebanese territories.
However, it’s important to note that the withdrawal was not complete, as the Shebaa Farms and KfarShuba Hills remained under Israeli control. These disputed areas have been a subject of ongoing tension and have not been fully resolved to this day.
The annual televised speech by Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah on Resistance and Liberation Day serves as an opportunity to reflect on the significance of the day, honor the sacrifices made by the resistance fighters, and reaffirm the commitment to the liberation of all occupied Lebanese territories.
The resistance movements in Lebanon, namely Hezbollah, have accumulated great achievements on so many different levels which brought stability and safety to Lebanon. All the military victories were scored against the ‘Israeli’ enemy, and more recently against the takfiri terrorists in Syria and Lebanon.
All the military expertise along with the continuous coordination with the Lebanese Army has consolidated and deeply entrenched the triumphant equation: The Army, the people, and the Resistance.
This equation has served as a remarkable successful formula to ensure Lebanon’s sovereignty, safety and stability against multi-level hazards and dangers that threatened the country and its people.
Never at any time before this equation has been established was Lebanon able to claim its real sovereignty. The full sense of the term has been embodied only after this formula came into existence. More particularly, after the resistance forced the ‘Israeli’ enemy to withdraw in 2000, Lebanon and the Lebanese have been able to exercise their sovereignty in reality.
As an example, the Lebanese, especially the southerners, have never been able to reach their lands and fields, the ‘Israeli’ occupation soldiers used to open fire against the farmers preventing them from planting their lands or harvesting their crops.
The Lebanese army as well, has never been allowed before 2000 to exercise its sovereign right to deploy its forces in the southern part of Lebanon along the Palestinian border. Contrary to this, the ‘Israeli’ occupation, aside from its continuous aggression has challenged Lebanon by establishing a proxy militia known as the militia of the collaborators. The ‘Israeli enemy used to call them ‘South Lebanon Army’ in an attempt to legalize their existence, thus challenging the Lebanese government and comprising the legitimacy of the army.
Now the resistance has extended the mandate of this sacred equation into a new field, namely, the economic one.
In a recent and astounding accomplishment, the Lebanese state along with the balance of deterrence imposed by the Resistance, have both been able to preserve Lebanon’s rights in its maritime boundary with the occupied Palestine.
This demarcation of the maritime boundary gives Lebanon, according to the Lebanese government, its rights in the sea oil and gas resources is another remarkable achievement that strengthens the Lebanese sovereign decision and the state sovereignty and governance over its territories in land and in sea.
In conclusion, it is evident that as long as this coordination and harmony continue to exist between the Resistance, the Lebanese Army, and the people’s support, no foreign enemy or force can threaten Lebanon or blackmail its rights.
The Lebanese sovereignty is being protected and preserved through this formula that must exist and must be preserved.
It is our national shield that we should stick to and uphold always, and we will definitely do!
As the ‘Israeli’ military is worried about a possible action by the Lebanese resistance group, Hezbollah, over the dispute on the Karish gas field, the ‘Israeli’ Navy double-checked the efficiency of its latest generation of anti-ship missiles last month.
The Gabriel V is the fifth generation of the anti-ship missile developed by the ‘Israeli’ Aerospace Industries and the War Ministry’s research and development division, known by the Hebrew acronym MAFAT.
The “complex” trial in August witnessed a Saar 6-class corvette INS Oz launching a missile at a mock ship.
The Gabriel V missiles are being deployed on the navy’s Saar 6-class corvettes, replacing the Gabriel IV, developed in the 1990s.
The ‘Israeli’ announcement came amid fears of Hezbollah’s threats regarding the Zionist regime’s gas installations at the Karish Field before the US-mediated talks over a maritime dispute reach a solution.
The maritime dispute escalated in early July after the Zionist regime moved vessels into the Karish Gas Field, which lies in in the disputed territorial waters between the ‘Israeli’-occupied Palestine and Lebanon.
The Lebanese resistance movement of Hezbollah does not rule out going to war with the ‘Israeli’ occupation regime over the its attempts at impinging on Lebanon’s natural resources.
Hezbollah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has warned earlier that the resistance’s attitude and behavior towards the ‘Israeli’ regime in the case depend on the results of ongoing indirect negotiations between Beirut and Tel Aviv over the disputed maritime area.
The Zionist regime launched two wars against Lebanon. In both cases, it was forced to retreat after suffering a humiliating defeat at the hands of Hezbollah.
The Israeli circles denied the media reports about starting gas extraction from Karish field, noting that pumping gas through the platform’s pipes will be experimental.
Zionist Channel 13 noted that denying those reports aimed at preventing any escalation with Hezbollah, knowing that the Resistance had threatened to strike the platform if ‘Israel’ operates it before Lebanon obtains its rights.
According to the Israeli Channel, the US energy envoy Amos Hochstein will submit his final proposal during his upcoming visit to Beirut, hoping that the Lebanese officials accept it.
In a speech delivered Saturday on Arbaeen, Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah reiterated that extracting the oil and gas off Lebanese shore is a golden chance to cope with the current economic crisis.
“We won’t allow the Israeli enemy to extract oil and gas from Karish before restoring Lebanon’s legitimate rights.”
The Israeli officials said that the extraction will take place in September but they delayed the process, the Lebanese resistance leader stated.
“Hezbollah’s red line is the start of the Israeli extraction of gas in Karish.” His eminence revealed here that Hezbollah has recently delivered a strong message to the Zionist entity, warning behind the scenes that the Tel Aviv Regime will be facing a real trouble in case it started gas extraction in the disputed field.
“Our aim is to enable the Lebanese government from investing in its maritime wealth, and this issue is not related to any affair,” Sayyed Nasrallah said, responding to accusations that Hezbollah has been trying to relate the maritime border talks to Iran nuclear deal talks.
His eminence then affirmed that all threats made by Israeli officials “won’t turn a hair” of Hezbollah, saying that both ‘Israel’ and US knows very well that the Lebanese resistance is adamant regarding threats he made on the maritime border affair.
Sayyed Nasrallah noted that Hezbollah has been calm in the latest weeks in a bid to give opportunity for talks, but stressed that the “eyes and missiles are on Karish.”

غزة | كما كان متوقّعاً بعد سلسلة لقاءات ومباحثات رعاها «حزب الله»، أصدرت حركة «حماس»، أمس، بياناً أعلنت فيه وقوفها إلى جانب سوريا في وجه «المخطّطات الهادفة إلى تقسيمها»، مؤكّدة سعيها لترجمة قرارها باستعادة علاقاتها مع دمشق. وبحسب ما علمته «الأخبار» من مصادر «حمساوية»، فإن البيان يأتي في ضوء استمرار اشتغال الحركة على تطبيع هذه العلاقات بعد سنوات من القطيعة، و«مواجهة العقبات التي تحاول أطراف خارجية وضعها في طريق تسوية جميع الخلافات مع السوريين». وكشفت المصادر أن مباحثات عدّة انطلقت بعد معركة «سيف القدس» بين «حماس» والقيادة السورية، برعاية من الأمين العام لـ«حزب الله» السيد حسن نصرالله، حيث تمّ كسر الجمود كخطوة أولى، بينما وصل العمل في الفترة الأخيرة إلى مرحلة «بناء الثقة تمهيداً لاستعادة العلاقة بشكل أكبر وأوسع». وتبادَل مسؤولو الحركة والمسؤولون السوريون، خلال لقاءات دورية جمعتْهم، ملاحظات حول فترة القطيعة وما سبقها، والملفّات التي «تجب معالجتها بشكل جدّي لإنهاء الخلاف»، مع إبداء ملاحظات حول كيفية تجاوُز المسبّبات الخارجية والداخلية التي أعاقت التطبيع سابقاً. وأكدت المصادر أن هذا المسار سيتسارع خلال الفترة المقبلة، «في ضوء المتغيّرات والتحدّيات الإقليمية والدولية التي تُواجه محور المقاومة ككلّ، في ظلّ تَشكّل تحالف التطبيع بين الدول العربية ودولة الاحتلال برعاية أميركية، بما يشكّل تهديداً للمحور وأطرافه».
وأعلنت حركة «حماس»، في بيان أمس، بعنوان «أمّة واحدة في مواجهة الاحتلال والعدوان»، مُضيّها في «بناء وتطوير علاقات راسخة مع الجمهورية العربية السورية، في إطار قرارها باستئناف علاقتها مع سوريا الشقيقة، خدمةً لأمّتنا وقضاياها العادلة، وفي القلْب منها قضية فلسطين، ولا سيّما في ظلّ التطوّرات الإقليمية والدولية المتسارعة التي تحيط بقضيتنا وأمّتنا»، مُجدّدةً تمسّكها بـ«استراتيجيتها الثابتة، وحرصها على تطوير وتعزيز علاقاتها مع أمّتها ومحيطها العربي والإسلامي، وكلّ الداعمين لقضيتنا ومقاومتنا». ودانت الحركة «بشدّة، العدوان الصهيوني المتكرّر على سوريا، وخاصة قصف مطارَيْ دمشق وحلب أخيراً»، مؤكدةً «وقوفنا إلى جانب سوريا في مواجهة هذا العدوان». وأعربت عن تقديرها «للجمهورية العربية السورية قيادةً وشعباً، لدورها في الوقوف إلى جانب الشعب الفلسطيني وقضيته العادلة»، متطلّعةً إلى أن «تستعيد سوريا دورها ومكانتها في الأمّتَين العربية والإسلامية»، مبديةً دعمها لـ«كلّ الجهود المخلصة من أجل استقرار وسلامة سوريا، وازدهارها وتقدّمها». وإذ كرّرت «موقفنا الثابت من وحدة سوريا أرضاً وشعباً»، و«رفضنا أيّ مساس بذلك»، فقد جزمت «(أننا) ننحاز إلى أمّتنا في مواجهة المخطّطات الصهيونية الخبيثة، الهادفة إلى تجزئتها وتقسيمها ونهب خيراتها، ونقف صفاً واحداً وطنياً وعربياً وإسلامياً لمقاومة العدو الصهيوني، والتصدّي لمخطّطاته». كما دعت إلى «إنهاء جميع مظاهر الصراع في الأمة، وتحقيق المصالحات والتفاهمات بين مكوّناتها ودُولها وقواها عبر الحوار الجادّ، بما يحقّق مصالح الأمّة ويخدم قضاياها». ولفتت إلى «التطوّرات الخطيرة التي تمسّ بشعبنا الفلسطيني وقضيّته العادلة، وأبرزها مظاهر التطبيع ومحاولات دمج العدو الصهيوني ليكون جزءاً من المنطقة، مع ما يرافق ذلك من جهود للسيطرة على موارد المنطقة، ونهب خيراتها، وزرع الفتن والاحتراب بين شعوبها ودولها، واستهداف قواها الفاعِلة والمؤثّرة، الرافضة والمقاوِمة للمشروع الصهيوني»، مشيرةً في هذا السياق إلى «استمرار العدوان الصهيوني على سوريا الشقيقة، بالقصف والقتل والتدمير، وتصاعُد محاولات النيل منها وتقسيمها وتجزئتها، وإبعادها عن دورها التاريخي الفاعل، ولا سيما على صعيد القضية الفلسطينية»، مُذكّرةً بأن «سوريا احتضنت شعبنا الفلسطيني وفصائله المقاوِمة لعقود من الزمن، وهو ما يستوجب الوقوف معها، في ظلّ ما تتعرّض له من عدوان غاشم». وكان نائب رئيس حركة «حماس» في قطاع غزة، خليل الحية، أكد، في حديث إلى «الأخبار» أواخر حزيران الماضي، أن ثمّة قراراً اتُّخذ بـ«السعي إلى استعادة العلاقة مع دمشق»، بعد «نقاش داخلي وخارجي على مستوى الحركة شارك فيه قياديون وكوادر ومؤثّرون وحتى معتقلون داخل السجون». وأوضح الحية أنه «تمّت مناقشة الظروف والتوقيت والشكل»، كما «تمّ وضْع خطّة سيتمّ تنفيذها بمساعدة الحلفاء»، مضيفاً أن «هناك تَوجّهاً نحو البيئة الأوسع، التي تشمل أصحاب الرأي والمفكّرين والعلماء، ومن ثمّ الأطر الشعبية الأوسع»، متابعاً «(أننا) وضعنا تركيا وقطر في أجواء تَوجّهنا هذا، وهما لا تُعارضانه». وسبق كلامَ الحيّة بأسبوع، حديثٌ مشابه نقلته وكالة «فرانس برس» عن مسؤول رفيع المستوى في «حماس»، جاء فيه أن «الاتّصالات مع سوريا في تَحسّن، والعلاقات في طريق عودتها بالكامل إلى ما كانت عليه»، وأن «زيارات عدّة قام بها قادة الحركة إلى سوريا». وإلى جانب تلك التصريحات، أعلن الأمين العام لـ«حزب الله»، غير مرّة، في أحاديث صحافية، اهتمامه «بشكل شخصي» بتسوية العلاقة بين «حماس» وسوريا، مؤكداً أن الأخيرة منفتِحة على هذا المسار الذي وصفه بـ«الإيجابي».
«حماس»: سوريا احتضنت شعبنا الفلسطيني وفصائله المقاوِمة لعقود من الزمن
يُذكر أن مصدراً قيادياً في «حماس» أكّد لـ«الأخبار»، بالتوازي مع انتهاء معركة «سيف القدس» في أيار 2021، أن لدى الحركة قراراً مسبقاً ببحْث عودتها إلى الأراضي السورية عندما تحين الفرصة المناسبة، «وفي ضوء الرسائل الإيجابية التي نقلها لنا عدد من قادة فصائل المقاومة في سوريا عقب لقائهم الأخير بالرئيس بشار الأسد، وترحيبه بجميع الفصائل من دون استثناء، وتوجيهه التحيّة إلى حماس»، فإن هذا القرار سيتعزّز. وأشار المصدر، آنذاك، إلى أن الحركة ستبدأ مشاورات مع «حزب الله» وإيران خلال الفترة القريبة، بهدف جسّ نبض السوريين حول عودة العلاقة معهم، متوقّعاً أن تكون الردود السورية إيجابية، ومن دون شروط مسبقة، الأمر الذي سيفتح الباب أمام التطبيع، كخطوة أولى تتبعها عودة قيادات «حمساوية» إلى الأراضي السورية في وقت لاحق. ولم يُخفِ المصدر، في ذلك الوقت، وجود محاولات سابقة من قِبَل أطراف في محور المقاومة لترميم العلاقة بين الحركة والسوريين، غير أن تلك المحاولات اعتراها عدد من العقبات، آملاً أن يكون الانتصار الذي حقّقته المقاومة في غزة خلال معركة «سيف القدس» بوّابة لإزالة العقبات المذكورة، في ظلّ الاتفاق على برنامج المقاومة ومواجهة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، وتمسّك «حماس» بمبدأ عدم التدخّل في الشؤون الداخلية للدول العربية، وتعزيز العلاقات معها بهدف تجميع طاقات الأمة لدعم المقاومة.
نشرت مجلة «ايكونوميست» الأميركية في 22-آب الجاري معلومات تشير إلى التغيرات التي طرأت على التوازن الديموغرافي بين الفلسطينيين وبين اليهود في الكيان الإسرائيلي وبقية الأراضي الفلسطينية التي يقيم فيها الفلسطينيون في الضفة الغربية والقدس وقطاع غزة والأراضي المحتلة منذ عام 1948، فتبين أن عدد الفلسطينيين على امتداد وجودهم من قطاع غزة حتى الناقورة، يزيد قليلاً على مجمل عدد اليهود في الكيان وفي الأراضي المحتلة بعد عام 1967، فقد بلغ عدد السكان الإجمالي في إسرائيل وما يتبع لها من مستوطنات في الضفة الغربية تسعة ملايين ونصف المليون بما فيهم الفلسطينيون الموجودون داخل الأراضي المحتلة منذ عام 1948، ومنهم 21 بالمئة من هؤلاء الفلسطينيين داخل الكيان و74 بالمئة من اليهود و5 بالمئة من غير اليهود، وهذا يعني أن عددهم أقل من سبعة ملايين، على حين يصبح العدد الإجمالي للفلسطينيين الموجودين في داخل الكيان وفي الضفة الغربية وفي قطاع غزة والقدس أكثر من سبعة ملايين.
وتشير المجلة إلى أن 13 بالمئة من هؤلاء الملايين السبعة اليهود هم من اليهود السلفيين الذين يمتنعون عن الخدمة بجيش الاحتلال بسبب الشريعة التوراتية التي تفرض عليهم العبادة فقط، وبهذه النسبة التي يزيد عددها على مليون من اليهود تقريبا سيعتمد خزان القوى البشرية العسكرية للكيان على ستة ملايين من اليهود، على حين يزيد خزان القوى البشرية الفلسطينية على سبعة ملايين تنتشر نسبة منهم في داخل مدن مختلطة السكان مثل عكا وحيفا واللد ويافا وجنوب فلسطين قرب بئر السبع.
وإذا كان الشعب الفلسطيني في الضفة الغربية والقدس وفي قطاع غزة يشن حملات مقاومة بأشكال مسلحة وغير مسلحة ضد جيش الاحتلال، فإنهم يقومون بهذه المهمة باسم كل الشعب الفلسطيني سواء باسم الموجودين داخل فلسطين المحتلة أم خارجها، وفي ظل هذا الوضع سيعمل على توحيد ساحات وجبهات المقاومة داخل مساحة فلسطين كلها وسيكون لديه قوة بشرية تربك جيش الاحتلال والمستوطنين في كل مكان داخل فلسطين.
وبسبب تناقص العدد الكافي والمطلوب للقوى البشرية المؤهلة للتجنيد في جيش الاحتلال النظامي، كان رئيس الحكومة نفتالي بينيت قد أعلن قبل سنة ونصف السنة أن جيشه سيقدم لمن يرغب من المستوطنين داخل الكيان وفي الضفة الغربية والقدس السلاح والذخائر لكي يحملها دوماً ويستخدمها من دون أوامر ضد كل أشكال المقاومة الفلسطينية، وجاءت هذه الدعوة غير المسبوقة في طريقة الإعلان عنها على لسان رئيس حكومة الكيان بهدف سد ثغرة تناقص عدد القوى البشرية في جيش الاحتلال النظامي، وهي تدل على حالة الضعف والتدهور التي بدأت تطرأ على قدرة جيش الاحتلال أمام صمود ومقاومة الشعب الفلسطيني في الداخل والعجز عن التغلب عليها.
وتشير التقارير الغربية إلى أن قيادة جيش الاحتلال لن يكون بمقدورها تجنيد عدد يزيد على 300 ألف أو 400 ألف من الجنود النظاميين حتى باستخدام كل قوات الاحتياط، لأن الملايين الستة التي يجري تجنيد الشبان والشابات من بينها، لا يمكن أن يوفروا أكثر من هذا العدد من الجنود وستزداد صعوبة أي مجابهة عسكرية تحدث بين المقاومة الفلسطينية وجيش الاحتلال بسبب عدد الجبهات القتالية التي سيضطر جيش الاحتلال للانتشار فيها، في الوسط أمام الضفة الغربية وفي الجنوب أمام قطاع غزة وصواريخ القطاع وفي داخل الكيان أمام مليونين من الفلسطينيين المنتشرين من عكا إلى الجليل إلى وسط البلاد، أما في الشمال حيث توجد جبهة المقاومة اللبنانية وصواريخها وجبهة حدود الجولان المحتل، فسوف يحتاج جيش الاحتلال إلى أكثر من مئة وخمسين ألفاً إن لم يكن إلى مئتي ألف لحماية حدود الكيان الخارجية الممتدة من حدود الجولان المحتل حتى جنوب لبنان، ولذلك دأب جيش الاحتلال على الحرص الشديد بألا يفجر حرباً شاملة على جبهة الشمال برغم أنه يرى تزايداً في قدرات هذه الجبهة شهراً تلو آخر ويعجز عن منع تعاظمها وخاصة بعد انتصار الجيش العربي السوري وحلفائه على حرب الإرهاب الكونية التي شارك في شنها جيش الاحتلال إلى جانب مئة دولة ولم ينجح بتحقيق أهدافه فيها.
ولذلك يعترف المحللون العسكريون والمتخصصون بالشؤون الإستراتيجية في تل أبيب أن الكيان الإسرائيلي يمر بأصعب وأفدح الأخطار بعد التحول الذي فرضته أطراف محور المقاومة في ميزان القوى الإقليمي في المنطقة برغم اتفاقات كامب ديفيد وما تبعها من اتفاقات أوسلو ووادي عربة التي لم تحمل أي عوامل قوة إضافية إلى الكيان لا في مواجهة الشعب الفلسطيني ومقاومته المستمرة على كل فلسطين، ولا في مواجهة جبهة المقاومة اللبنانية والسورية في الشمال.
أمام هذا الوضع العسير جداً لن يكون بمقدور هذا الكيان الهروب من دفع الثمن.
June this year marks a very important historical event, the 40th anniversary of the advent of the Islamic resistance or the emergence of Hezbollah; the first and the most important and the mightiest and most influential non state actor in the world, as described by western sources.
Why all of this? Is it a kind of exaggeration? This is what we will be discussing in this article.
In June 1982, the ‘Israeli’ occupation forces invaded Lebanon and reached its capital Beirut. The leader of the ‘Israeli’ invading forces entered the presidential palace in Baabda and took pictures sitting in the presidential office.
The announced ‘Israeli’ goal behind the invasion named “Operation Galilee” was to ward off the threat of the Palestinian shells away from the border with the Occupied Palestine. Nonetheless, as the time passed, the real goals started to be revealed gradually.
After occupying Palestine, ‘Israel’ wanted to annex Lebanon as a whole into its western-backed colonialist expansionist strategy.
The ‘Israeli’ leadership planned and succeeded to impose a so-called ‘peace’ treaty with Lebanon. The treaty was known as the May 17th Treaty. This treaty would definitely compromise the country’s sovereignty and would also violate its basic rights as an independent state and would threaten its very existence on the long run.
Lebanon was once and for a long time called the weakest ring, the country whose official policy and philosophy was that its strength is in its weaknesses, and the country which the ‘Israelis’ paid the less attention to as a threat to their plans and made series of jokes mocking its fragility and weakness.
This very country has presented a full surprise to the occupiers, not a good one of course. Thanks to the resistance leaders.
The ‘Israeli’ occupation forces, from the very first hours of their invasion, have been confronted by the resistance of many parties inside Lebanon.
Operations were carried out by many resistance groups. One of the groups that has started the resistance early enough was a group of people who joined ranks to fight the occupation, they had something in common which is the religious commitment under the banner of what came to be known and called later, the Islamic Resistance, or Hezbollah.
The party spearheaded the resistance for a quite long time, and thus has become the vertebral column or the backbone of the resistance.
This group was characterized with high discipline and firm organization. It was not only distinguished with its close relation with the Islamic Republic of Iran, but also with the unshakable conviction of its followers in the Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist [Wilayat al Faqih] system which represents the legal and constitutional governmental system in Iran.
With the blood and sweat of thousands of its sons and daughters, Lebanon was liberated on May 25, 2000.
During the celebration that followed Liberation Day, the leader of the resistance Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah described the Israeli occupation regime as “frailer than a spider’s web”
Twenty-two years have passed since the Israelis were forced, for the first time, to withdraw from an occupied Arab land unconditionally. The event that took place on May 25th of the year 2000 is seen widely as a turning point in the greater Arab struggle against the Israeli occupation and colonization of Arab lands.
The day the occupation completed its forced withdrawal from Lebanese territories came to be known as the Liberation and Resistance Day in Lebanon, a day that is commemorated and celebrated all over the country annually. It became a founding element in the story of the Arab and Lebanese people’s struggle in general, and for the people of Southern Lebanon in particular. Memories of the occupation that brought death and destruction to the lives of many are still vivid to this day, as not only were the horrors of such a period carved in the collective memory of the Lebanese people but also the idea that the cost of resistance will always be more bearable than that of submission.
So how did the people, historically described as poor peasants, manage to inflict such a strategic defeat on the Israeli war machine?
Building the momentum
As the occupation began in 1978 and then expanded in 1982, the Lebanese resistance factions took up their arms and dealt heavy blows to the Israeli occupation troops present on the Lebanese soil via various military actions. New resistance factions were formed as well. They followed a wide array of ideological doctrines that ranged from communism and nationalism to Islamic ideology. This piece will be focusing on the actions, operations, and plans of the resistance party that played a major role in the military defeat of the Israelis and their expulsion from Lebanon – except for the Shebaa Farms and the Kfar Chouba Hills – the Islamic resistance in Lebanon, i.e. Hezbollah.
The resistance project was launched in Beirut in 1982 by only a few men who were frustrated by how the people under Israeli occupation were left to meet their fate by everyone as the country was engulfed in civil war. Not with words, but with solid actions, iron, and lead, these men decided to stand their ground and fight. The oldest of these men hadn’t reached his thirties, these “young and crazy” men ended up changing the fate of Lebanon and the region for good.
Numbering from a few dozens to hundreds in the nineties, the resistance had employed multiple tactics, from ambushes to anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) strikes or mining the roads taken by Israeli patrols. Their foe was not only the Israeli occupation forces; there was also a collaborator militia under the name of the South Lebanon Army (SLA), whom the Israelis used as cannon fodder to man the front outposts with the hope of mitigating their losses.
The Islamic Resistance’s ability to adapt to shifting conditions was proved by Hezbollah’s military operations in the 1990s. Hezbollah attacked with direct assaults when the Israeli forces and SLA-established permanent outposts. The resistance moved to use indirect fire using mortars and rocket fire when the occupation and its collaborators bolstered their outposts. The resistance resorted to ambushes, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and mines as the IOF changed tactics and became a more mobile force with more patrols.
As for the use of ATGMs, the Lebanese resistance deployed even more complex armament systems, ranging from the older Sagger ATGMs to the more modern American-made TOWs and Soviet-made Konkurs. Between September and October 1997, using TOW systems, the resistance, for instance, managed to destroy a Magach and three Merkava tanks, dealing a serious blow to the IOF’s morale. The Islamic resistance’s adaptability earned it admiration from its enemies. The head of the Golani brigade, Moshe Kaplinsky, remarked that “Hezbollah was a learning organization.”
The War was characterized by an intellectual clash between the resistance and the IOF. For instance, in the 1990s, when the IOF started utilizing sniffer dogs to find wire-triggered IEDs, the resistance started hiding its mines under fiberglass boulders as camouflage, then resorted to using radio control to set off the mines. The IOF, in turn, tried countering this tactic by jamming the radio signals, the resistance responded by using cellphone-triggered devices. The Israelis countered this tactic by jamming cellphone signals. The resistance finally employed infrared signals to detonate the explosive devices and continued inflicting tremendous damage to the Israeli occupying forces.
Culminating the effects
The resistance’s professional use of IEDs and mines culminated in the killing of Erez Gerstein in 1999; the top Israeli commander in Lebanon at that time. It was a huge calamity for the occupation and its already crumbling morale as a result of the attrition war it was suffering at the hands of the resistance. The SLA was not spared either, as its second-in-command, Aql Hashim, was killed the following year using similar tactics.
One of the most significant victories for the resistance, both on the intelligence and tactical levels, was the 1997 ambush of sixteen navy commandos from the elite Shayetet 13 unit near the coastal town of Ansariyah, which resulted in the death of 12 Israeli soldiers. It was revealed by the secretary-general of the resistance later on that the ambush was made possible by the resistance’s hacking of Israeli drones earlier that year, which allowed them to acquire intel that helped identify the imminent incursion.
Operations continued as the occupation of Lebanon was withering, with their number increasing substantially. 4,928 of the total 6,058 operations occurred between 1996 and 2000, and 1999 alone saw the resistance carrying out 1,528 operations. The war was long and consuming for the Israelis, and not only the military was suffering. The Israeli society as a whole was crumbling underneath the weight of losses in Lebanon.
The resistance using rockets to establish a deterrence equation, which prevented the Israelis from targeting civilians in Lebanon, played a major role in cutting the Israeli society’s appetite for war. The Israelis felt that their government, even after the wars of 1993 and 1996, was unable to stop the rocket retaliation against settlements. Despite the numerous violations committed by the IOF against the rules of such proclaimed and explicit equation, the Israelis did reduce their attacks against civilians in Lebanon.
The victory
The last Israeli soldier left Lebanese soil (except for Shebaa farms and Kfarshoba hills) at 6:48 am on May 24 of the year 2000, and the long-awaited relief of the Lebanese people from their suffering ended. The SLA was breaking up in the days leading up to the 24th of May, culminating in its complete disintegration following that date. The members of the collaborator army were divided into 2 groups, the first surrendered to the resistance, while the second left with the Israelis to occupied Palestine. One of the SLA officers said during his last seconds on Lebanese soil: “We expected to be expelled, but [not like this] with honor.” A scene that was engrained in the Lebanese memory, besides the scenes of the prisoners of Al-Khiam detention camp breaking their chains and breathing in the fresh breeze of freedom.
During the celebration that followed Liberation Day, the leader of the resistance, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, described the Israeli occupation regime as “frailer than a spider’s web.” These words echoed within the heads of the Israelis for the better half of a decade, so much so that Israeli generals labeled their bid to occupy Bint Jbeil (where Sayyed Nasrallah made the speech in which he said the occupation was frailer than a spider’s web) “Operation Webs of Steel”. The operation took place during the Israeli 2006 war on Lebanon. “Tel Aviv” failed miserably in its endeavor again, but that is a story for another day.
The Israeli occupation regime’s existential concerns became much more vivid following its defeat and humiliation in 2000 and 2006. The mighty “Israel” that always bragged about its operational military art and competency and created an illusion of invincibility became powerless, frail, and paranoid. The resistance and its people not only liberated their land with their blood and sweat but proved to all the Arabs and the oppressed of this world that, with a clear mind, a strong will, and a passionate soul, no occupation shall last.
South Lebanon – It has been a couple of decades since Lebanon was liberated from the ‘Israeli’ occupation. It is a 20-year old achievement that is being strengthened at every turning point.
Only children didn’t know, at the time, the true stories of pain behind the joy this event has brought to their lives, the ones who were used not to have a single place where they could spend their summer vacations.
What will be narrated below is just the story of one person. A southerner who decided to stand up against the occupation of his country. This person ended up spending 11 years behind ‘Israeli’ bars from November, 1985 until July, 1996.
Liberated detainee Hajj Ali Khsheish, who has the scars of those 11 years on his body and soul, told al-Ahed News about how he was detained, torture inside the prison, and the inhumane treatment of ‘Israeli’ collaborators.

“In the beginning, we had a resistance activity inside an occupied area where the ‘Israeli’ was very comfortable to practice whatever he wants. It was a group of youngsters who decided to resist the occupier and hence we founded a small group that was known the Islamic Resistance.”
The early resistance men, he added, were under the ‘Israeli’ agents’ sight. For them, it was both difficult and dangerous to transfer a weapon inside the occupied territories. That’s why at the time, many arrests were made in the village of Khiam and other villages in the region. Members of different political organizations were also detained.
On November 11, 1985, Hajj Ali, as well as many other members of the Islamic Resistance were detained and taken to the Khiam Prison, better known as the Khiam Detention Center, which was located in Hajj Ali’s own homeland, and run by Antoine Lahd’s militia under the ‘Israeli’ administration.
Interrogation and torture
Interrogation was as harsh as all forms of torture practiced inside the place. The enemy, according to Hajj Ali, doesn’t spare an area in the human body un-tortured to obtain the information he wants. ‘Israel’ was dying to learn all information related to the resistance activities and how it is transferring weapons and exchanging information.
According to his own experience, Hajj Ali says he had been interrogated for four months in a raw. “During the same period, many arrests from Bint Jbeil, Markaba and Taybeh were made, so the enemy assumed that there is a common link between those groups, although every group was indeed operating separately.”
In the painful memories of his years behind the ‘Israeli’ bars, the man repeats that torture was very harsh. ‘Israel’ mastered its means of torture in that place, which were numeral and inhumane at every level. Electric shocks, electric cables, electric pole hangers, deprivation of sleep, food and restrooms, head covers and handcuffs, solitary cells, the ‘Chicken Coop’, insults, intimidations and torturing relatives… and the list goes on.
“We used to sleep in corridors before being transferred to cells. At the time, the prison’s area wasn’t fit to contain the huge number of detainees. While sleeping there, the jailer walks into the corridor and kicks us. Even when we are hanged on the electric poles we were also beaten…” the man said, adding that “they used to rub our wounds with salt, or warm up an iron rod to burn parts of our bodies… all of their methods were barbaric, they didn’t use any humane action when dealing with the detainees.”
Many detainees were martyred while hanged naked, in cold and hot weathers, and without food or water, for three days on the electric poles.
Such innovated methods were both directed and supervised by Amer al-Fakhoury, the ‘Israeli’ collaborator who in a couple of months ago fled Lebanon after being discharged by the Lebanese Military Tribunal on the crimes he has committed due to the ‘passage of time’.
Torture was not limited to the period of interrogation, it would rather accompany the detainee all over his time at the prison. This depends on how moody the jailer is.
Interrogators were focused on obtaining any piece of information about Hezbollah, and the activity of the Islamic Resistance. They focused on detainees affiliated with Hezbollah, their bitterest enemy who caused them a lot of pain. Even when the Islamic Resistance carries out a successful operation, they used to retaliate by torturing the detainees.
“They didn’t treat us as humans, they didn’t take into account any health condition the detainee could be suffering from. Even for those whose hands or legs were amputated, they used to beat them on that areas.”
The post-interrogation period
After the minimum of two months interrogation period and solitary confinement, detainees were transferred to 2-meter wide and 2.5-meter long cells. They were designed for five detainees at the same time. The cells were neither equipped with light, nor with toilets. “At night, we sleep in line, everyone’s head is opposite to the other’s legs…”
The room didn’t even have a restroom inside it, detainees couldn’t but use a bucket to have their essential need met. They were not allowed to speak inside their cell, nor anywhere else. Their voice mustn’t be heard, otherwise the jailer knows what he would do. Detainees were even denied the right to sun exposure. They were only allowed for 5 minutes every month or less in a small yard that they crowd inside it 10 to 15 detainees.
“It was barely one tour inside the yard before we are taken back to our cells. Speaking was not allowed there, neither was smiling at each other.”
Food, water and medication
Every portion of food served to one detainee per day wasn’t meant to fill the stomach of a baby. Two small toasts for breakfast, with three olives and jam. Then comes the lunch, an entire dish of unsalted stew to serve the five detainees inside each cell. And finally the dinner, also two small toasts with a boiled egg and a potato.
“We considered that we are living only because the angel of death was busy somewhere else. Everything inside the Khiam Detention Center was driving us to death, and this is why when a new colleague entered the prison, he told me that my family learned that I was dead, and that they held a memorial service for me,” Hajj Ali Khsheish recalled.
The place doesn’t resemble any of the world’s prisons. The maximum period of interrogation in any jail in the world is 72 hours, then the prisoner would be moved to a cell that fits for a human use. In this case, however, there didn’t exist even the least of elements of the human survival.
Minding the portions of food prisoners were served inside the place, it was subsequently understandable that they would be dined drinking water as well.
The jailers would deprive detainees from drinking water for three consecutive days under the pretext that the water service is cut off. “We used to demand drinking, even from the water heater, which was already rust, only to quench our thirst.”
‘Miscol’ was the multifunctional drug we were given, Hajj Ali said. It was an ‘Israeli’ drug, most of the times we discover it was expired when given to us, but the jailers used to give to the detainees every time they feel a pain, no matter what kind of pain or in which body organ. Detainees, in best cases, were injected with water instead of medicine.
Freedom of religious rituals
Detainees used to recite the holy Quran according to the memorizations, they didn’t actually have access to any hard copy, although they managed once to obtain a very small part of the holy book, which they secretly shared by turn.
In Ashura, for example, when the jailer hears that they are making any activity, he used to open the cell suddenly and start beating them.
Even in the holy month of fasting, jailers turn generous and force fasting detainees to drink and eat. Indeed, they pour water inside their mouths. Once, a detainee thought he would escape a forced breakfast, so when the jailer asked him if he is fasting, the detainee said no. The jailer, however, started beating and scolding him because he is a Muslim but was not fasting!
Tyranny anytime, anywhere
“Sometimes, jailers order detainees to cover their heads, it was up to their mood if they don’t want to see our faces. The prison’s regime was arbitrary. Everybody should be awake at 6, with the components of their cell be organized. Sometimes, they storm the cell at midnight, or even after, they force detainees to stand up facing the wall, raising their hands up, for an hour or two,” Hajj Ali added.
Other times, when the wrestling team a jailer likes loses, he takes a group of detainees to the yard and starts beating them!
As a result, detainees used to organize hunger strikes to raise their voice high…
The Khiam Detention Center Uprising
“One time, the detainees rejected food for three times because a jailer dragged one of us while he was preforming prayers and took him out. Detainees started knocking the doors. How would they do such thing during the prayers?”
The uprising started in 1993, and what was remarkable is that all detainees, even the women in their separate building, united with each other, without learning the reason ahead, they just heard the knocking and understood that some major thing was going wrong.
The jailers, however, threw gas bombs and fired some shots inside the already narrow and closed prison cells. Many detainees suffocated, so the others calmed down to save the lives of their fellows. After that, the jailers took around 70 detainees outside and started beating them until the strike ended.
The prisoners’ demands were access to sufficient food as well as sun exposure and restrooms, the basic needs provided in the rights of detainees according to the Geneva Conference. The prison’s administration responded to the demands. However, it was very soon that they backtracked this policy. The ‘Israeli’ policy was keen to keep the detainees’ only concern is to have food, sun exposure and toilets. Otherwise, if things remained comfortable, detainees would demand additional things the prison’s administration didn’t want to meet.
Hajj Ali no more behind bars
As part of a swap deal between the Islamic Resistance, that detained bodies of two ‘Israeli’ soldiers, and the Zionist regime, Hajj Ali Khsheish was released with the group of 40 detainees and bodies of 124 martyrs on July 21st, 1996.

As free as before, he decided to continue the next period in Beirut, firstly to save himself and his relatives from any possible future detention, and secondly, which was more important to him, to resume his resistance activity.
Turning his back to the years of pain, Hajj Ali walked out of the place where he spent the harshest 11 years of his life… He returned, however, to the same place, after it was liberated during the liberation of south Lebanon and the withdrawal of ‘Israeli’ occupation in May, 2000.
Since then, he and several colleagues, dedicated themselves to explain to every visitor of the Khiam Detention Center how ‘Israel’ and its Lebanese collaborators have been involved in war crimes against all detainees.
Hezbollah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah delivered a speech during the electoral festival the party is holding for the Beqaa area in Baalbek, Rayyak and Mashgarah.
Sayyed Nasrallah started by greeting and welcoming all the participants in the electoral festival Hezbollah is holding for the Beqaa area.
His Eminence hailed the people of Beqaa by asserting the fact that they “have defended and sacrificed in the path of Allah in the past times and in the modern history, as well as in current battle.”
Sayyed Nasrallah addressed the audience and said, “Your massive presence reflects your loyalty to the Resistance as you are the people of resistance, its strong hand, mind, eyes, heart, and emotions… your presence in this festival is clear evidence, and is both a message and an answer.”
The Resistance Leader tackled the subject of martyred Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh and says that she “was a witness on the ‘Israeli’ enemy’s crimes and the injustice practiced against the Palestinian people.”
“The barbaric nature of the ‘Israeli’ enemy didn’t change given its massacres in Palestine, Lebanon, and Egypt,” His Eminence continued.
Commenting on the murder of Shireen Abu Akleh, Sayyed Nasrallah said, “The first who must feel ashamed are those who normalize ties with ‘Israel’ and attempt to convince our people that the presence of ‘Israel’ is something natural.”
“The strongest message about the martyrdom of Shireen Abu Akleh is that she is Christian,” Sayyed Nasrallah explained, adding that the message regarding her martyrdom is that “the ‘Israeli’ enemy killed Christians and Muslims [alike] and attacked their sanctities, and destroyed their houses.”
“The message about Shireen Abu Akleh’s martyrdom is that everybody is in danger due to the unchanging ‘Israeli’ regime’s apartheid and inhumane policies,” the Hezbollah Secretary General added.
In his speech, Sayyed Nasrallah condoled with the families of the Civil Defense Forces of the Syrian Army who were martyred today [Friday, May 15] at the hands of the Takfiri groups in Aleppo’s countryside.
Relatedly, His Eminence affirmed the importance of the Beqaa and its people as “an essential part of the resistance”.
“As Imam Sayyed Musa Sadr’s resistance started from Beqaa, so did the Islamic Resistance, where its foundations were laid,” Sayyed Nasrallah said.
The Resistance Leader went on to say, “They want the people of Beqaa to abandon the Resistance and its weapon by targeting it politically, financially and media-wise.”
Relatedly, Sayyed Nasrallah clarified, “The operations [of the Resistance] started on the land of Beqaa until the western Beqaa was liberated.”
“For long years the youths of Beqaa and Western Beqaa from all towns and villages were present in all of the Resistance fronts in the Beqaa and South Lebanon,” the Secretary General said.
Addressing the people of Beqaa, Sayyed Nasrallah said, “Your dearest martyr Sayyed Abbas al-Moussawi was martyred on the land of South Lebanon, and in the July War you were present… throughout history you’ve been with Hezbollah; Hezbollah is you.”
His Eminence further noted that “We must remember those who stood by the Resistance, atop of them is Syria, and those who stood by ‘Israel’.”
“Had the terrorist groups’ scheme been destined to triumph in Syria, they would have represented a danger to Beqaa and all Lebanon,” the Resistance Leader cautioned.
In a parallel platform, Sayyed Nasrallah highlighted the issue of politicizing the Lebanese Army by explaining how it “was banned, upon a political decision, to confront the terrorist groups in the battle of the outskirts.”
The Hezbollah Leader interpreted how “Some political sides supported the armed groups such as Daesh [Arabic acronym for ‘ISIS’ / ‘ISIL’] and al-Nusra Front.”
“Those terrorist groups have committed horrible massacres against Sunni Muslims, and now they are carrying out daily terrorist attacks in Afghanistan regardless if the victims are Shia or Sunnis,” Sayyed Nasrallah added.
Also in his speech, His Eminence reminded the crowd of martyred leader Sayyed Mustafa Badreddine, saying, “As we enjoy safety and security away from car bombs, it is thanks to the martyred leader Mustafa Badreddine and the brothers in the Resistance.”
“You have to make the decision between those who held their arms to defend Beqaa and those who armed the militant groups to attack your houses,” the Resistance Leader said.
Elsewhere in his speech, Sayyed Nasrallah clarified the fact that Hezbollah doesn’t “gain money from the ministries we are in charge of; we spend money there instead.”
The Secretary General vowed to work to achieve a strategic project for Beqaa, which is the tunnel that links Beirut with the Beqaa area.
“The current minister of Public Works has tackled the project with several countries, and he will follow up this project with the ministers of Beqaa,” Sayyed Nasrallah stated.
The Resistance chief said that “Hezbollah will exert the efforts to improve the agricultural production and sales in Beqaa.”
Additionally, Sayyed Nasrallah addressed the voters and said, “I am addressing all those who will cast their votes on May 15 as we’ve been hearing very ridiculous and weird things, which point to the level of ethical and cultural decadence.”
“Some present themselves as leaders who want to build the state, one of them (Siniora) – name added by me- is responsible for the disappearance of $11 billion, another wants to liberate the Shia from Imam Hussein [AS], and the other one’s electoral aim is to dance and swim!” His Eminence exclaimed.
“They are ridiculously considering the people fool by terrifying them from Hezbollah,” the Secretary General added.
However, Sayyed Nasrallah rebuffed the aforementioned saying, “The arms of Resistance didn’t prevent anybody from fixing the electricity problem or building dams, nor did it cause the tragic financial policies over the past decades.”
Moreover, the Resistance Leader indicated that “Washington aided its groups in smuggling the money of the Lebanese depositors outside the country.”
His Eminence went on to say, “Those who formed their electoral lists in the US embassy have to ask Washington for returning the money of the Lebanese depositors after they were smuggled.” He added, “The US bans investments in Lebanon and works to starve the Lebanese people.”
More on the issue of the electoral campaigns, His Eminence explained, “We’ve witnessed in the electoral campaigns an unprecedented state of hatred in Lebanon.”
Sayyed Nasrallah concluded his speech by asserting that “Voting on the day of elections is a message to all those conspiring against the Resistance and its weapons, and those conspiring against the future of the Lebanese people.”
His Eminence ended his speech by once again addressing the people of Beqaa and telling them, “Hopes are high in your participation; we ask you on May 15 to vote and mark your honorable fingerprint with ink, not blood.”

نرحب بكم وأنتم الذين أتيتم من كل أنحاء الجنوب، من جبل عامل، من أقضية محافظتي الجنوب والنبطية، من كل المدن والقرى والبلدات، لتعبّروا دائماً وكما كنتم طوال العقود الماضية عن صدقكم ووفائكم وإخلاصكم وعظيم حضوركم ووقفتكم وإبائكم وصمودكم ومقاومتكم وانتصاركم، اشكركم على هذا الحضور الكبير.
قبل أن أبدأ بالكلمة، من واجبي أيضاً أن أتوجه بالتعزية بفقد العلاّمة الكبير سماحة السيد محمد ترحيني إلى عائلته الشريفة، إلى أهل بلدته الكرام بلدة عبّا، الى أهلنا في الجنوب، الى كل اللبنانيين، الى علمائنا الكرام، الى طلبة العلوم الدينية، الى الحوزات العلمية بفقد هذا العالم الجليل والفقيه المجاهد والاستاذ المعلم والناصر المؤيد للمقاومة بيده ولسانه وقلمه وقلبه ودعائه وموقفه.
أيها الإخوة والأخوات، نحن اليوم في مهرجان انتخابي، شاءت الظروف ان تأتي الانتخابات بعد شهر رمضان، جاء العيد، جاءت أيام الصّمت الانتخابي، ضاق وقتنا، لم يبق امامنا سوى يوم الاثنين ويوم غد الثلاثاء ويوم الجمعة، اي اننا نخطب ونلتقي بين أيام الصّمت الانتخابي، هذا اضطرنا لأن نجمع الاحتفالات والمهرجانات وإلاّ كل دائرة بحدّ ذاتها تستحق مهرجاناً منفصلاً وإحياءً كاملاً، لذلك اليوم نحن مع الجنوب وغداً إن شاءالله مع بيروت وجبل لبنان ويوم الجمعة القادم مع أهلنا الكرام في البقاع.
وأنا أشاهد هذا المنظر الكبير والجميل من أعماق قلبي كنت أتمنى أن أكون بينكم وأن أقف أمامكم وأن أخاطبكم مباشرةً، ولكن على كل حال هذا جزء من مقتضيات المعركة القائمة أن اتكلم إليكم من بعيد. عندما نتحدث في هذه الأيام ما يخطر في البال وما يجب أن يُقال سأضطر أن أقسمه إلى ثلاثة أقسام، وما اقوله اليوم هو لكل لبنان وإن كان فيه خصوصية الجنوب، كنا نودّ في مهرجاناتنا الانتخابية أن نبدأ من هموم الناس الحقيقية، من آلام الناس وأوجاع الناس المباشرة، في شهر كانون الثاني وشباط وآذار ونيسان هناك جهات ومراكز دراسات أجرت إستطلاعات رأي في كل الدوائر في الـ 15 دائرة، وسألت الناس عن أولوياتها، عن اهتماماتها والاغلبية الساحقة كانت تتحدث عن الهم الاقتصادي والمعيشي والمالي عن أموال المودعين، عن الكهرباء، عن الماء، عن البطالة، عن فرص العمل، عن غلاء الاسعار عن المحتكرين عن الفساد، وأنا قرأت كل استطلاعات الرأي هذه لأنها كانت موضع اهتمام بطبيعة الحال، وقليل من الناس في كل الدوائر من كان يطرح سلاح المقاومة، لم ترد مسألة سلاح المقاومة كإهتمام وكأولوية وكمشكلة وكمعاناة وكمسألة ملحة ومستعجلة يجب على المجلس النيابي الجديد والحكومة الجديدة ان تعالجها، ولكن للأسف الشديد جاءت بعض القوى السياسية مبكراً واستلّت من كعب لائحة الاهتمامات سحبت موضوع سلاح المقاومة وجعلته عنوان المعركة الانتخابية الحالية، ومنذ عدة اشهر والى اليوم نسمع صراخاً وخطاباً وتحريضاً وكلاماً ليس بمستوى قائليه حتى، جعلوا هذا الموضوع عنوان المعركة الانتخابية الحالية، ولذلك لنبدأ من هنا، لنتحدث من هنا، كنت اود أن اتحدث عن المساهمة في بناء الدولة العادلة والقادرة، عن أموال المودعين، عن الملفات المختلفة، على كل حال اليوم أنا سأركز على هذا الموضوع وإذا تبقى وقت أدخل الى موضوع آخر، لكن بالتأكيد يوم غد ويوم الجمعة ان شاءالله سأتناول بقية الملفات، سأناقش معكم بالمنطق بالحجّة بالدليل بالوقائع من موقع المسؤولية من الميدان العنوان الذي فرضوه هم للمعركة الانتخابية:
أولا، أريد أن يعرف اللبنانيون جميعا أن اولئك الذين يدعون اليوم إلى نزع سلاح المقاومة، بل ذهب بعضهم قبل أيام في خطاب إنفعالي صوتوا لنتخلص من حزب الله ومن حلفاء حزب الله، أي تجاوز الموضوع مسألة مقاومة وسلاح مقاومة، أريد أن يعرف اللبنانيون أولاً، أن هؤلاء أصلاً يجهلون ويتجاهلون ما عاشه الجنوب وما عاناه اهل الجنوب منذ قيام الكيان الغاصب المؤقت في فلسطين عام 1948، انا لا أفتري عليهم، في عام 2006 عندما دعا دولة الرئيس نبيه بري الى طاولة حوار وذهبنا وشاركنا في طاولة الحوار ووصل الكلام الى الحديث عن الاستراتيجية الدفاعية، أحد هؤلاء الزعماء السياسيين – يلي هوي اليوم معلي صوتو ومكتر زيادة – قال في الجلسة، ويوجد تسجيلات المجلس النيابي موجودة، قال اسرائيل لم تعتد على لبنان،”هذا الذي يطالب بنزع سلاح المقاومة، اسرائيل منذ 1948 الى 1968 اي في بدايات العمل الفدائي في جنوب لبنان، اسرائيل لم تعتد على لبنان، إسرائيل لم تشكل تهديداً للبنان، اسرائيل لم تفتعل مشكلة مع لبنان، هذا إما جاهل وإما متجاهل، والغريب أيها الإخوة والأخوات وأيها اللبنانيون أن لبنان بلد صغير وأن أهل الشمال يعرفون ماذا يوجد في الجنوب، البلد ليس 100 الف او 200 الف كلم، ونحن نتكلم عن تاريخ قريب معاصر اي قبل 70 أو 80 سنة، ومع ذلك يقولون لنا ذلك، اذكر على طاولة الحوار حصل نقاش، أجابه دولة الرئيس نبيه بري وأجبته أنا، ثم قام احد الاخوة من المشاركين في الوفود، وذهب وجاء بكتاب وثائق من جريدة السفير وعرضه على الحضور، وقال لهم انظروا هذه الوثائق ماذا فعلت اسرائيل منذ عام 1948، أيها الإخوة والأخوات يا أهل الجنوب ويا أيّها اللبنانيون، الكيان الغاصب أعلن عن وجوده وكيانه في مثل هذه الايام في 15 أيار 1948 في وقت لم يكن هناك بعد عمل فدائي ولا مقاومة فلسطينية ولا مقاومة لبنانية في جنوب لبنان، قام بمهاجمة القرى الحدودية، هجّر الكثير من سكان القرى الحدودية، وهرب الناس مع أثاثهم وأنعامهم وما استطاعوا ان ينقلوه، دخل الى بلدة حولا ونفذ فيها مجزرة مهولة قضى فيها عشرات الشهداء من الرجال والنساء والاطفال والصغار و الكبار. هذه هي إسرائيل بالـ 48 والـ49 والـ 50 واكملت، الامام السيد عبد الحسين شرف الدين في ذلك الوقت ارسل رسالته المعروفة لرئيس الجمهورية آنذاك، وطالبه بأن تأتي الدولة لتحمي الجنوبيين ولترسل الجيش الى الحدود لتدافع عن سكان القرى الحدودية ولكن لا حياة لمن تنادي، وقال له ان لم تكن قادرا على الحماية فلتكن الرعاية، فليكن هناك ملاجئ، فليكن هناك دائماً دعم للجنوبيين ليبقوا في أرضهم حتى لا يهجّروا حتى لا يتحول الجنوب سريعاً الى فلسطين ثانية، ولكنهم لم يصغوا! في الخمسينات كان جيش العدو يدخل الى القرى الجنوبية، فيقتل ويخطف ويهدم المنازل ويحرق المزروعات ويخطف حتى رجال قوى الأمن الداخلي ويدخل حتى الى مخافر الدرك القليلة التي كانت موجودة هناك.
في الستينات قام العدو الاسرائيلي بقصف منشآت الوزّاني التي كان يراد ان يستفيد الجنوبيون منها، من مياه الوزاني وكانت مشروعاً مدعوماً لجامعة الدول العربية، ولكن لم يحرك احد ساكنا، وهكذا استمر الحال في الستينات والسبعينيات.
اذا الجنوب وأهل الجنوب بدأت معاناتهم منذ بداية قيام هذا الكيان الغاصب لفلسطين المحتلة، اما من يأتي ويقول اسرائيل هاجمت الجنوب واعتدت على الجنوب كرد فعل على العمليات الفلسطينية، هذا كذب وهذا افتراء، من 48 لـ 68 لم يكن هناك عمليات فلسطينية ولا عمليات مقاومة.
إذاً هؤلاء إما جهلة أو متجاهلون، أساساً هذا يكشف أنهم لا ينظرون إلى إسرائيل على أنها عدو وعلى أنها تهديد وعلى أنها صاحبة أطماع لا بالوزاني ولا بالليطاني ولا بمياه لبنان ولا بأرض لبنان ولا اليوم بغاز ونفط وثروة لبنان، هذا أولاً.
ثانيًا، في سياق هذه المعركة أيضًا هذه الأيام لجأوا إلى التضليل والتزوير للنيل من المقاومة، واختبأوا خلف عمامات كبيرة وقيادات جليلة خصوصًا في الطائفة الشيعية، وإن كانت هذه القيادات على المستوى الوطني وعلى مستوى الأمة عندما أرادوا أن يميّزوا بين المقاومة الحالية، أو بتعبيرهم شيعة المقاومة وبين سماحة الإمام السيد موسى الصدر أعاده الله بخير، وسماحة آية الله السيد محمد حسين فضل الله رضوان الله عليه، وسماحة آية الله الشيخ محمد مهدي شمس الدين رضوان الله عليه. واسمحوا لي هنا أن أدخل من هنا لأذكّر بمواقف ومقاومة وخطاب الإمام الصدر والسقوف العالية لسماحة الإمام موسى الصدر التي لم تصل إليها حتى اليوم، لا مقاومة حزب الله ولا مقاومة حركة أمل ولا أيّ مقاومة وطنية أو إسلامية في لبنان.
من هذا الباب وسأكتفي ببعض النصوص والوقائع من سيرة الإمام السيد موسى الصدر لأنّه كان هو فعلًا المؤسس للمقاومة والقائد للمقاومة إلى حين اختطافه عام 1978. الإمام الصدر منذ أن جاء إلى لبنان واصل الخطاب في هذه المسألة، كما كان الإمام شرف الدين كان يرى بأمّ العين الاعتداءات والتهديدات والتجاوزات الإسرائيلية ولطالما تحدّث عنها، وبدأ يطالب الدولة اللبنانية، يطالبها بالجيش، يطالبها بتقوية الجيش اللبناني وبإرسال قوات كافية من الجيش اللبناني إلى الحدود، ولم يكن هناك احتلال وقتها، نتحدث بداية الستينات لم يكن هناك احتلال.
لاحقًا في عام 1967 جرى احتلال مزارع شبعا وتلال كفرشوبا، لكن الاعتداءات كانت متواصلة. الإمام الصدر كان يخاطب الدولة ويقول لهم إذا كان عديد الجيش غير كافٍ تعالوا درّبوا شبابنا، أنا حاضرـ كان يقول أنا الشيخ، المقصود بالشيخ، المعمم، عندها الإمام كان شابًا وقتها أنا الشيخ حاضر أن أتدرّب على السلاح، وأن أقاتل مع الشباب، دّربوا شبابنا، سلّحوا شبابنا. أنتم قاتلوا بشبابنا لندافع عن الجنوب لكنهم لم يكونوا يصغون إليه، تعرفون لماذا؟ مثل البند الأول لأنّ الجنوب والقرى الحدودية لم تكن في يوم من الأيام منذ 1948 موضع لا أولويات الدولة ولا اهتمامات الدولة أصلًا، وهذا لم يكن فقط شأن الجنوب هذا شأن الجنوب، شأن البقاع، شأن عكار، شأن الشمال، الأطراف التي تمّ إلحاقها بلبنان الكبير عام 1920. هذا جزء من سياسة الإهمال وإدارة الظهر من قبل الدولة لكلّ هذه المناطق لم يكونوا يصغون للإمام الصدر.
الإمام الصدر حاول، إنتقل من عاصمة عربية إلى عاصمة عربية، أنا كنت أقرأ، واقعًا يحترق قلب الإنسان على هذا الرجل الكبير الذي قضى أيامه يسافر من عاصمة عربية إلى أخرى، من دمشق إلى القاهرة، إلى الرياض، إلى عمّان، إلى الكويت إلى إلى إلى… ليتكلّم مع الملوك والأمراء والرؤساء العرب من أجل أن يتحمّل العرب مسؤوليتهم في الدفاع عن الجنوب. وعندما جاءت قوات الردع العربية إلى لبنان حاول الإمام الصدر أن يدفع بقوات الردع العربية إلى الجنوب ليدافع العرب عن الجنوب، ولم يوفّق، هو يقول أنا بقيت في الـ 74 و75 أنا بقيت عشر سنوات أطالب الدولة بأن تأتي إلى الجنوب لتدافع عن الجنوب، ولكن لم يصغوا إلي، ولم يستمعوا إلي، ولم يقبلوا منّي.
ولذلك ذهب الإمام الصدر إلى الخيار الآخر، هذا يجب أن نعرفه جميعنا في لبنان كلّ اللبنانيين في كل المناطق اللبنانية يجب أن يعرفوا لماذا لجأ الجنوب وأهل الجنوب إلى خيار المقاومة المسلّحة بشكلها الحالي والقائم، واستندوا في مقاومتهم المسلحة إلى بقية أهلهم في بقية المناطق اللبنانية في البقاع وبيروت والجبل والشمال. لم يكن هذا حماسًا أو انفعالًا أو هوى نفس، وإنّما كان الخيار الذي اضطروا إليه وأجبروا عليه نتيجة تخلّي الدول العربية، وجامعة الدول العربية وأيضًا، وأولا نتيجة تخلّي الدولة اللبنانية وحكوماتها المتعاقبة عن الجنوب وأهل الجنوب والدفاع عنهم، لذلك ذهب الإمام الصدر مبكّرًا في السبعينات إلى الخيار الآخر.
أقرأ لكم بعض النصوص التي هي موجودة في عشر مجلدات، حتى يعرف هؤلاء أي مقاومة يريدون أن يطالبوا بنزع سلاحها. لا أقول أي مقاومة يريدون نزع سلاحها، ”فشروا أن ينزعوا سلاحها، فشروا أن ينزعوا سلاحها”، ولكن أقول المقاومة التي يريدون أن ينزعوا سلاحها. يقول الإمام الصدر في 21 – 1 – 1971 في ذكرى عاشوراء في الكلية العاملية، إسمعوا جيّدًا هذا كلام الإمام، واجب كلّ إنسان أرادت السلطة، أم لم ترد، يعني لم يعد مباليًا بالدولة، فقد يئس أنّه نريد أن ننتظر قرار من الدولة، عليكم خير، واجب كل إنسان أرادت السلطة، أم لم ترد أن يتدرّب ويتسلح كعلي بن أبي طالب والحسين بن علي وإذا لم يُجِد استعمال السلاح، فذلك انحراف عن خط علي والحسين على كل شاب أن يتدرّب ويحمل السلاح لتأسيس مقاومة لبنانية تلقّن العدو درسًا، “خلص” ذهب إلى هذا الخيار. ليس هناك خيار، ننتظر الجيش، الدولة، الدول العربية، قوات الردع العربية، المجتمع الدولي، الإمام الصدر من واقع التجربة والحرص وصل إلى هذا الخيار.
إسمعوا مقطع آخر يقول في 26 – 3 – 1975 في نادي الإمام الصادق في عيد المولد النبوي الشريف إنّ التدريب على السلاح واجب كتعلّم الصلاة ،هذه المقاومة إنّ التدريب على السلاح واجب كتعلّم الصلاة واقتنائه ولو بعت فراشك واجب. الإمام الصدر يدعونا أن نشتري السلاح، ولو بعنا فراشنا. واجب كاقتناء القرآن أقول لكم ذلك في يوم مولد محمد وعلى منبر محمد وفي بناء الإمام الصادق اللهمّ اشهد أنّي تعلّمت التدريب على السلاح وأقتني السلاح من عندي. الإمام بشيبته تدرّب على استخدام السلاح واشترى السلاح ووضعه في بيته ليقاتل.
في مقطع ثالث في 20 – 1 – 1975 يتفقّد الإمام المهجرين من أهل كفرشوبا في مرجعيون كانوا في المدرسة، وممّا قال إنّ بداية الاحتلال ظاهرة والخطر يهدّد الوطن، ولم نكن وصلنا للاحتلال في 78 الإمام الصدر كان يتحدّث عن الاحتلال، ونخشى أن تبقى السلطة في درس الخطة الدفاعية، نتحدث متى؟ سنة 75. مازالت السلطة في لبنان أيها الجنوبيون أيها الشعب اللبناني من 1975 تدرس الخطة الدفاعية، ولم تنتهِ من دراستها ونحن في عام 2022. والبحث عن الموقف ويقول الإمام الصدر مع العلم إنّ البحث عن الدفاع عن النفس والكرامة جزء من وجود الإنسان لا يحتاج إلى اتخاذ قرار لذلك. لا نحتاج نحن أن ننتظر الدولة حتى نتخذ القرار، “أكثر من هيك” الإمام الصدر مبكًرا كان يتحدّث عن إزالة إسرائيل من الوجود، من يستغرب الآن خطابنا يقول ما هذا الخطاب. الإمام الصدر كان سابقًا قبل أن تقوم الجمهورية الإسلامية في إيران وتنتصر الثورة الاسلامية في إيران، وتطرح قيادة الثورة استراتيجية إزالة إسرائيل من الوجود، إسمعوا الإمام الصدر ماذا كان يقول. كان يقول في 6 – 10 – 1974 بالأونيسكو يجب إزالة اسرائيل من الوجود، يجب إزالة إسرائيل من الوجود، فإسرائيل وينظر لهذا الموضوع لماذا يا سيدنا؟ فإسرائيل بهيئتها الحاضرة عنصر عدواني ووجودها يخالف المسيرة الإنسانية، وبعكس التحرّك الأساسي للحضارة الإنسانية، فلذلك لا مقام لها معنا ولا لها بيننا مكان. هذا الإمام الصدر وهذه مقاومة الإمام الصدر، أنا أقول لكم بكل صدق ما أشرت إليه قبل قليل السقف الذي كان يخطب ويتحدّث ويفكّر فيه الإمام الصدر حتى نحن الآن لم نلامس هذا السقف، لم نجرؤ على قول ما كان يقول رغم أنّ الظروف الإقليمية اليوم أفضل بكثير، وظروف المقاومة أفضل بكثير، وظروف بيئة المقاومة أفضل بكثير.
أذكر فقط شاهدين، الشاهد الأول وأنا أقول لمن يختبئ اليوم في مكان ما من لبنان خلف عباءة الإمام الصدر، هل يقبل بهذا المنطق؟ هذا منطق الإمام الصدر، إسمعوا ماذا يقول سنة 1974 في المسجد العمري الكبير في صيدا؟ يقول الإمام الصدر في المسجد وكان احتفالًا كبيرًا وقتها. نحن نريد الجنوب ونحن في قلب الجنوب في صيدا، نريده أن يكون منطقة منيعة صخرة تتحطّم عليها أحلام إسرائيل، وتكون اسمعوا وتكون نواة تحرير فلسطين، وطليعة المحاربين ضدّ إسرائيل، الجنوب رأس الحربة ضد إسرائيل وقاعدة لتحرير الأرض المقدسة، لا نريد جنوبًا هزيلًا مثل اليوم في ذاك اليوم. أو في شكل دويلات، نريد جنوبًا متمسّكا بلبنان مرتبطًا بهذه الأمة، مرتبطة بهذه الأمة يا دعاة الحياد، مرتبطة بهذه الأمة موحّدًا مع العرب، رأس حربة لهم لا جنوب هزيلًا مفصولًا، بل نريده جنوبًا مانعًا قويًا. هل نستطيع نحن أن نقول رغم كلّ الظروف الأفضل بكثير من ظروف الإمام الصدر؟ هل يتحمل أحد أن أقول أنا أو الرئيس نبيه بري أو أي مؤمن بالمقاومة هذا الكلام الذي كان يقوله الإمام الصدر؟ نحن مازلنا تحت السقف. في يوم القدس أقصى ما تجرّأت أن أقوله أنا مثلًا أقوله أنا وأمثالي كنا نقول إنّ القدس هي جزء من عقيدتنا قبل أيام، هي جزء من عقيدتنا وديننا وكرامتنا وعرضنا، ونحن أمة وقوم لا نتخلى لا عن عقيدتنا ولا عن ديننا ولا عن كرامتنا ولا عن أرضنا، لكن اسمعوا الجرأة في خطاب الامام الصدر، يقول في 17/8/1974 في حي السلم: “عندما إحتلوا القدس حاولوا أن يقصموا ظهر الإسلام ويُحطموا واقع المسيحية”، إسمعوا أيها اللبنانيون، أيها المسلمون والمسيحيون، يقول الإمام الصدر:” عيشنا من دون القدس موتٌ وذل، عيشنا من دون القدس موتٌ وذل، وعندما يتنازل الإنسان المسلم أو المسيحي عن القدس فهو يتنازل عن دينه، وعندما يتنازل الإنسان المسلم أو المسيحي عن القدس فهو يتنازل عن دينه”، من يَجرؤ أن يقول هذا الكلام اليوم؟ أنه عندما نتنازل عن القدس يعني نحن خرجنا من الإسلام وخرجنا من المسيحية.
على كلٍ، هذا الإمام ذهب إلى هذا الخيار بعد كل هذه التجربة، ما أود أن أقوله هنا في ختام هذا ثانياً، أن علماءنا وقادتنا وكبارنا منذ 1948 كان خيارهم الدولة والجيش، وأن تأتي الدولة ويأتي الجيش ومؤسسات الدولة لِتدافع عن الجنوب وان يُقاتلوا هم معها وإلى جانبها وتحت رايتها، ولكن للأسف الشديد دائماً كانت الدولة تُدير ظهرها للجنوب ولأهل الجنوب.
ثالثاً: هؤلاء الذين يُطالبون اليوم أو يُنادون بإلغاء المقاومة ونزع سلاحها، يتجاهلون ويتنكرون لكل إنجازاتها الوطنية والقومية، لسنا نتكلم عن شيء عابر أو عن شيء يمكن أن نُلغيه أو شيء يمكن ان نتجاهله أو شيء يمكن أن نَتجاوزه أو شيء وجوده هامشي في بلدنا وفي تاريخنا وفي مجتمعنا، بل نتكلم عن مقاومة لها إنجازات هي الأعظم في تاريخ لبنان، أكبر إنجاز في تاريخ لبنان منذ 1948 إلى اليوم هو تحرير الجنوب والبقاع الغربي في 25 آيار 2000، حيث تُصادف ذكراه السنوية بعد عدة أيام.
يتجاهلون إنجازات وإنتصارات هذه المقاومة، التي بإختصار شديد حررت كامل الأراضي اللبنانية المحتلة، والعدو الإسرائيلي وصل إلى بيروت وإلى جبل لبنان وإلى البقاع الغربي والساحل واحتل كل الجنوب، هذه المقاومة وحدها هذه المقاومة بكل فصائلها، بين هلالين عندما أتكلم عن المقاومة فإنني أتكلم عن حزب الله وأتكلم عن كل الذين حملوا السلاح وكل الذين قاتلوا وكل الذين قدموا الشهداء، نحن لم نحتكر المقاومة في يوم من الأيام ولم نُصادر إنجازاتها في يوم من الأيام، بل نَعترف بفضل كل صاحب فضل، المقاومة حررت كامل الأراضي اللبنانية، “بَعد عِنا ” مزارع شبعا وتلال كفر شوبا والقسم اللبناني من بلدة الغجر .
المقاومة حررت الأسرى، بكرامة وعز عادوا مرفوعي الرؤوس من سجون العدو في مراحل مختلفة، نعم بقي لدينا بعض الملفات، كملف الأسير يحيى سكاف، وملف محمد عادل فران وملف عبدالله عليان هذان الأخوان المفقودان، هذه الملفات نُتابعها، بعض المفقودين الآخرين، بعض أجساد الشهداء.
المقاومة في لبنان دقت المسمار الأخير في مشروع “إسرائيل الكبرى”، في حرب تشرين 1973 الجيشان السوري والمصري أوقفا هذا المشروع، جمداه مؤقتاً، اندفعت “إسرائيل” 1982 وكانت تُريد أن تَبتلع لبنان كجزء من مشروع “إسرائيل الكبرى”، هزيمتها في لبنان دق المسمار الأخير في مشروع “إسرائيل الكبرى” ، لماذا؟ وكذلك تحرير غزة بعد ذلك، لماذا؟ لأن “إسرائيل” التي لا تستطيع أن تبقى في لبنان كيف تستطيع أن تحتل سوريا أو تحتل مصر؟ نتحدث عن الحلقة الأضعف في دول الطوق، وعجزت عن البقاء فيه، راح “إسرائيل الكبرى”، هذا إنجاز المقاومة في لبنان ومعها أيضاً المقاومة في فلسطين.
هذه المقاومة في 2006 حطمت مشروع “إسرائيل العظمى” التي تعتدي على كل المنطقة وتَتكبر وتُهدد وتُعربد و.. و.. و..و…. إلى آخره.
وكذلك فعل الفلسطينيون في غزة في الحروب المتلاحقة، وآخرها في معركة “سيف القدس” العام الماضي، ويَفعلونه اليوم، في كل يوم يفعله الفلسطينيون، يُحطمون صورة “إسرائيل العظمى”.
من إنجازات المقاومة أنها أسقطت مقولة “الجيش الذي لا يُقهر”. من إنجازات المقاومة في لبنان أنها عطلت ألغام الفتنة الطائفية بعد إنسحاب العدو من جزين ومن الشريط الحدودي، خلافاً لما حصل في مناطق لبنانية أخرى عندما خرج منها الصهاينة واشتعلت الفتنة الطائفية.
أعادت المقاومة للبنان ولشعوب المنطقة الثقة بالنفس والإيمان بالقدرة على صُنع الإنتصار، هذا الإحساس بالكرامة والعزة والحرية والسيادة هذا صنعته المقاومة، هذا ليس مجرد كلام، هذا لم يَصنعه الشعر، بل هذا صُنع بالدماء والعرق والآلام والتضحيات وفقدان الأحبة والأعزة بالتهجير والصمود، واليوم وهو الأهم، بعض الناس في لبنان يقول لك: الله يعطيكم العافية، قاومتوا وحررتوا، الله يعطيكم العافية، طيب ولكن هناك أمر يحصل اليوم هو أهم من التحرير، وهو الحماية، حماية جنوب لبنان وحماية القرى الحدودية في لبنان وحماية الوزاني والليطاني من أطماع “إسرائيل”، حماية كل لبنان من العدوان الإسرائيلي، من الذي يَحمي لبنان الآن؟ بصراحة بصدق بدون مجاملة المقاومة، بصراحة بصدق بدون مجاملة المقاومة، كجزء أساسي في المعادلة الذهبية “الجيش والشعب والمقاومة”، لكن الذي يَصنع معادلات الردع وتوازن الرعب مع العدو اليوم هي المقاومة.
هذا الأمن الذي يَعيشه الجنوب وأهل الجنوب والقرى الأمامية، من الذي صنعه أيها اللبنانيون؟ هذا خطاب للكل، لكل الناس،”خليه يجاوبونا”، خصوصاً أُؤلئك الذين يَسمعون خطابات نزع سلاح المقاومة، بالحد الأدنى منذ 14 آب 2006 إلى اليوم، كم مضى من الوقت حيث كانت فيه القرى الأمامية تنعم بالأمن، كل القرى الأمامية؟ بمعزل عن طائفة من يسكنها، مسلم أو مسيحي، شيعي أو سني أو درزي، الكل في القرى الأمامية يشعرون بالأمن والطمأنينة والأمان والسلامة والعزة والكرامة والسيادة والقوة والعنفوان، يبنون عند الشريط الشائك، ويزرعون عند الشريط الشائك، هذا من صنعه؟
اليوم إذا تخلى الناس عن المقاومة، وتخلت المقاومة عن سلاحها وعن مسؤولياتها كما تُطالب، من يحمي جنوب لبنان؟ ومن يحمي لبنان؟ هذا هو الإنجاز الأهم الذي ما زال قائماً وموجوداً.
رابعاً: هؤلاء الذين يُريدون أو يُطالبون بنزع سلاح المقاومة، عندما تُطالبهم بالبديل، لبنان في دائرة الخط إلا إذا كانوا يُصدقون بأن “إسرائيل” صديق وحمل وديع وليس لديها أطماع وليس لديها تهديدات، ما هو البديل؟ لا يُقدمون لك بديلاً.
أنا في سياق كل النقاشات منذ العام 2006 إلى اليوم، نحن نُقدم إستراتيجية دفاعية ونُقدم خيارات ونُقدم بدائل، ولا نَسمع منهم سوى كلمة واحدة “سلموا سلاحكم للدولة”، ” لا دولة إلا في سلاح واحد”، “ماشي الحال” لكن كيف نَحمي البلد؟ لا يوجد جواب، نُناقش ونَطلع، أتذكر جيداً خطابات الإمام الحسين (عليه السلام) يوم عاشوراء، عندما كان يُخاطب اهل الكوفة ويَستدل لهم” يا عمي أنا قتلت حدا أنا تعديت على حدا أن عملت شي أنا إبن بنت نبيكم أنا … أنا.. أنا.. أنا.. أنا.. ” وأصحابه طلعوا وخاطبوهم وأخر شيء ماذا كانوا يقولون له؟ ” يا حسين لا نَفقه ما تَقول إنزل على حكم يزيد وإ\بن زياد”، أليس نسمع ذلك في مجالس عاشوراء؟
حقيقةً أنا إحساسي منذ العام 2006 ، منذ أن بدأ نقاش الإستراتيجية الدفاعية في لبنان هذا هو، “لا نفقه ما تقولون”، ” سلموا السلاح والله يعطيكم العافية”، يا “حبيباتي” من الذي يحمي البلد؟ ومن الذي يحمي الجنوب؟ ومن الذي يحمي الضِيع؟ ومن الذي يَحمي القرى الأمامية؟ لا يوجد جواب.
ولذلك، في تلك الطاولة أنا قَدمت إستراتيجية دفاعية، لم يُجاوبوني، قال لهم الرئيس بري:” طيب جاوبوا؟ علقوا؟”، طلبوا رفع الجلسة مع العلم أننا لم نبدأ سوى منذ ساعة!!! قالوا: كلا، هذا يحتاج إلى درس ويحتاج إلى عقول ويحتاج إلى خبراء”، ومنذ العام 2006 إلى اليوم لم يُقدموا ملاحظات على الإستراتيجية الدفاعية، لا يوجد إلا “لا نفقه ما تقول”.
قبل أشهر عندما دعا فخامة رئيس الجمهورية العماد ميشال عون إلى طاولة حوار، ووضع بند الإستراتيجية الدفاعية، لماذا قاطعوا؟ لأنهم لا يُريدون أن يُناقشوا!!!
أنا أقول لكم بكل صدق، يوجد إخوان يقولون لي أحياناً: ” ليك سيد أحسن شي ننهي هذا الموضوع، إطلع أنت شي يوم وقل: يا خيي نحن خلص، معش حدا يحكي معنا بإستراتيجية دفاعية، نحن معش جاهزين….”، كلا كلا كلا، نحن اليوم وغداً وأمس ومثلما كُنا في العام 2006 وحتى آخر نفس: “جاهزون لنناقش إستراتيجية دفاعية وطنية” لماذا؟ لأنه لدينا منطق وحجة ودليل وتجربة وتجارب تاريخ ووقائع، الذي يَهرب من النقاش هو الضعيف ومن لا حجة له ولا دليل له، لذلك لم يُقدموا البديل.
طيب، يطلع أحد ليقول للناس: الجيش، أكيد الجيش موضع إحترام، الجيش اليوم ومنذ مدة طويلة لديه عقيدة وطنية جيدة وممتازة، لديه قادة وضباط وجنود أكفياء وشجعان وأوفياء، ولكن السؤال: هل الجيش اللبناني حالياً هو قادر على تحمل هذه المسؤولية؟ هل الجيش اللبناني بِعديده الحالي في مقابل “إسرائيل” الجيش الاقوى في الشرق الأوسط، هل الجيش اللبناني بِتسليحه الحالي، بصواريخه وطائراته ودفاعه الجوي، سيقولون: طيب أعطوه سلاح، طيب هل الجيش اللبناني بطريقة إنتشاره وجيشه الكلاسيكي وثكناته وقواعده قادر لِوحده على حماية لبنان؟ كلا، الجيش والمقاومة والشعب مع بعضهم بالكاد نقدر أن نَحمي البلد.
إذاً، هم لا يُقدمون بديلاً، هم يَدفعون بالجيش اللبناني، لأنه المشكلة الأخرى غير الجيش اللبناني ستكون مشكلة القرار السياسي، من في لبنان يُريد أن يأخذ قرار سياسي، إذا قصفت “إسرائيل” قرانا، أن يقصف المستوطنات؟ من ؟ دُلوني من؟ الإمام الصدر كان دائماً يحتج عليهم بهذا الأمر، كان يقول لهم: “هذا جيش شجاع، ولكن أنتم لا تَجرؤون على اتخاذ القرار”.
خامساً: الذين يَدعون إلى نزع سلاح المقاومة هم من حيث يَعلمون أو لا يَعلمون، حتى لا يقول أحد أن السيد “يُخون”، لكن أنا أعرف أن بعضهم يعلمون، لكن لِنُحسن الظن، ونَقول: الذين يُطالبون بنزع سلاح المقاومة، من حيث يعلمون أو لا يعلمون، يُريدون أن يُصبح لبنان مكشوفاً أمام العدو الإسرائيلي، في البر أعود أيام الأربعينات والخمسينات والستينات والسبعينات والإجتياحات والإحتلالات، في الجو، في البحر، أن يَعود الإسرائيلي لِيعتدي على أي مكان في لبنان، هل يَجرؤ الآن؟ ليطلع سلاح الجو الإسرائيلي ليقصف أي مكان في لبنان، ليس في الجنوب، بل في أي مكاان في لبنان، هل يجرؤ؟ لماذا؟ فليجاوبونني لماذا؟ هل بسبب قرارات دولية أم مجتمع دولي أو جامعة الدول العربية؟ لماذا؟ هذا جوابه واضح، واضح ومن البديهيات “مثل الشمس الطالعة”، ولكنهم يتنكرون للحقيقة، هم يُريدون وهذه هي النقطة الأهم التي أُريد أن أتكلم بها الان هم يريدون أن يتخلى لبنان عن أهم ورقة قوة له في موضوع إستخراج النفط والغاز من مياهه، اليوم أيها اللبنانيون وأيها الجنوبيون اليوم لدينا أزمة إقتصادية ومالية ومعيشية، فلنتكلم بصراحة، هنا يريدون رفع الدعم وهنا يرفعون الضرائب وهنا يتكلمون بال tva هناك يريدون ان يطردوا الموظفين وهنا يريدون أن يرفعوا الاسعار، وهنا يريدون أن يشحذوا من صندوق النقد الدولي وهنا نريد مساعدات وهنا نريد قروض، حسنا، لدينا ثروة هائلة بمئات مليارات الدولارات على بعض التقديرات، أنا لست خبيراً، لكن هكذا قال المسؤولون اللبنانيون، لدينا ثروة في مياهنا من الغاز والنفط، مئات المليارات من الدولارات، يعني بالتأكيد نستطيع أن نسدد ديننا وأن نحسّن وضع بلدنا وايضا ان نقوم بنهضة هائلة دون ان نخضع لشروط أحد، حسنا لماذا لا نستخرج النفط والغاز؟ “والله” اسرائيل لا تسمح لنا بذلك، مختلفين على ترسيم الحدود، حسنا اليوم الفرصة الذهبية، أنا أقول للبنانيين، اليوم لبنان أشد ما يكون من 1948، لليوم لبنان أشد عوزا وفقرا وأشد حرمانا، يومها كان الامام الصدر يتكلم عن الجنوب والبقاع وعكار المحرومين، اليوم الحمد لله الذي لا يحمد على مكروه سواه، كل المناطق اللبنانية باتت محرومة، الفقر والحرمان والعوز والحاجة والبطالة عابرة للطوائف وعابرة للمناطق، حسنا، متى سنستخرج هذه الثروة؟ عندما نموت؟! عندما نذل؟! عندما يصادر لبنان؟! عندما لا يعود هناك سيادة في البلد ومع ذلك 3 أو 4 مليارات من صندوق النقد الدولي ماذا تفعل؟ القليل من القروض من سيدر وغير سيدر ماذا تفعل؟َ نحن بلد منكوب، منهوب، جائع، فقير، مهمل، نحتاج الى مئات المليارات من الدولارات، من جاهز في العالم؟ حتى الدول العربية، الدول العربية في الشتاء الدنيا برد وصقيع لم يرسل أحد منهم سفينة مازوت، هذه المئات المليارات من الدولارات موجودة في بحرنا ومياهنا، أنا أقول للدولة اللبنانية اليوم أمامكم فرصة ذهبية والان أكثر، بعد الحرب في اوكرانيا أوروبا تبحث عن الغاز وعن النفط وهي على مرمى حجر من شواطئنا اللبنانية، بالتأكيد هناك من سيشتري منا، من لبنان هذا النفط وهذا الغاز، حسنا، هذه فرصة ذهبية تاريخية، تفضلوا، أنا لا أريد كما قلت سابقا أن أتدخل في ترسيم الحدود البحرية، لبنان رسم بلوكات، حيث تعتقدون أن هذه مياهكم، ولديه بلوكات اعرضوها على التلزيم للتنقيب ولإستخراج النفط والغاز في الجنوب هنا، وأنا أؤكد لكم أن هناك شركات عالمية ستقبل، لا يقول أحد إسرائيل ستمنعنا، أنا اليوم وأنا أخاطب أهل الجنوب المجتمعين في النبطية والمجتمعين في صور أقول للدولة اللبنانية وللشعب اللبناني وللبنانيين لديكم مقاومة شجاعة وقوية ومقتدرة وتستطيع أن تقول للعدو الذي يعمل في الليل وفي النهار على التنقيب وعلى إستخراج النفط والغاز من المناطق المتنازع عليها أن تقول للعدو، إذا منعتم لبنان نمنعكم، نعم، نحن قادرون على ان نمنعهم، نملك الشجاعة والقوة والقدرة، وأنا أضمن لكم ذلك ولن تجرؤ شركة في العالم أن تأتي الى كاريش او إلى اي مكان في المنطقة المتنازع عليها إذا أصدر حزب الله تهديدا واضحا جديا في هذه المسألة، تفضلوا، اليوم لا يشكنا أحد أن المقاومة قادرة على فعل ذلك، ولا يشكنا احد ان العدو سيتراجع لان ما يأخذه هو وما يحتاجه خصوصا في هذه المرحلة وهم يعرفون جيدا كيف يغتنموا الفرص، هم يعرفون حاجة أوروبا للغاز والنفط، سيتراجع، وسيطنّش، وفي كل الأحوال هذا حقنا الطبيعي، على ماذا يستند لبنان ليتمكن من إخراج ثروته من الغاز والنفط من مياهه الاقليمية؟َ! يخرج من يقول لك، يستند الى الحق، الحق يا حبيبي في هذا العالم؟َ تتكلم معي عن الحق؟! هذا الشعب الفلسطيني منذ العام 1948 قرارات دولية صدرت وأعطته حقوق ومنها حق العودة ولكن هذا الحق الذي لا يستند الى قوة لا يحترمه أحد في العالم، لبنان اليوم إذا أتى الاميركي في زمن ترامب وكوشنير شخصيا الذي يستثمر الان أموالاً عربية في إسرائيل، كوشنير شخصيا صهر ترامب كان يهتم بموضوع ترسيم الحدود البحرية، إذا الأميركان ذاهبون قادمون يفاوضون لبنان من أجل سواد عيون لبنان؟ كلا، لأن للبنان الحق؟ كلا، لأنهم يحترمون لبنان؟ كلا، لأنهم يعرفون أنه يوجد في لبنان مقاومة ستدفّع العدو ثمنا إذا منع لبنان من الاستفادة من حقوقه ومن ثرواته، لأنهم يخافون من ردة فعلنا، هم يأتون ويفاوضون ويضغطون ويحاولون أن يأخذوا بالمفاوضات ما يحقق مصلحة إسرائيل، وأنا أقول للدولة اللبنانية تريدون أن تكملوا في المفاوضات، هذا شأنكم، لكن لا في الناقورة ولا مع هوكيشتيان ولا مع فرنكشتاين ولا مع أينشتاين يأتي إلى لبنان، من طريق المفاوضات وخاصة مع الوسيط الاميركي الغير نزيه والمتآمر والمتواطىء والداعم لإسرائيل لن نصل إلى نتيجة. لكي يخرج لبنان من فقره ومن عوزه ومن حرمانه ومن إهماله ومن ديونه ومن جوعه، لا نقول مثلا نحلم بذلك، هذا متيسر الان ولكن يحتاج الى قرار والى موقف كبير، وقادرون على ذلك، لبنان بتضامنه، إذا تضامنا نحن قادرون أن نفرض على العالم كله وليس على العدو فقط أن تأتي الشركات لتبدأ بإستخراج النفط والغاز من مياهنا الاقليمية.
خامسا أو سادسا، الذين يطالبون بنزع سلاح المقاومة، هم يريدون أن يبيعوا هذا الموقف للأميركي وللغربي من أجل ان يحصلوا على الحماية السياسية والمالية، ليقولوا نحن حماتكم ومشروعكم وحلفاؤكم، والا هذا ليس مطلبا شعبيا، كل إستطلاعات الرأي قالت ذلك، مع ذلك أنا أريد أن أخاطبهم، ”لنفترض جدلا”، أنكم وصلتم الى هذه النتيجة، هل تتوقعون أن الأميركي سيكتفي بذلك؟ خذوا تجارب كل الدول العربية المحيطة بنا، بعد مسألة المقاومة سيقولون لكم يجب أن يعترف لبنان بدولة إسرائيل، أميركا أيها الأخوة ترسل وفودا من وزرائها إلى أندونيسا، أندونيسيا أين وفلسطين أين؟ من أجل أن تعترف أندونيسيا بإسرائيل، كيف بلبنان؟ سيطلبون منكم أن يعترف لبنان رسميا بإسرائيل في الحكومة اللبنانية وفي المجلس النيابي، سيطلبون منكم ليس فقط الاعتراف، سيطلبون منكم التطبيع مع إسرائيل، سيطلبون منكم توطين الفلسطينيين في لبنان، أنتم دعاة نزع سلاح المقاومة، هل تؤيدون توطين الفلسطينيين في لبنان؟ نحن نريد للفلسطينيين ان يعودوا إلى ديارهم وارضهم وإلى وطنهم، وإلى حقوقهم اعزاء كرماء، سيطلبون منكم ويطلبون منكم، يوجد شيء عند الاميركيين أسمه المطالبات ليس لديها حد نهائي، لا يقف عند حد، عندما تستسلم للشرط الاول يخرج الشرط الثاني والثالث والرابع والخامس، حسنا، لنفترض البعض يقول إذا سلمنا سلاح المقاومة ستحل أزمتنا المعيشية والاقتصادية، لنفترض أننا سلمنا السلاح وإعترفنا بإسرائيل وطبعنا مع إسرائيل ووطنا الفلسطينيين وقبلنا بتوطين اللاجئين أو النازحين السوريين، بعد ذلك؟ هل ستحل مشكلتنا الاقتصادية والمعيشية؟ بلا كثرة إستدلال، هذه مصر أمامكم، مصر التي تعاني في أزماتها المعيشية والاقتصادية وتتخبط في ذلك وتعمل في الليل وفي النهار لتخرج من هذه المأساة، هذه الاردن وهذه السلطة الفلسطينية، هذه السودان، يا أخي فلتأتوا لي بدولة كانت في صراع مع العدو، لا تقول لي الامارات، الامارات دولة غنية، هي من تعطي أموالا لإسرائيل، لا تحتاج إلى من يعطيها أموالا، فلتأتي لي بدولة كانت في صراعا مع العدو أو لها موقفا من العدو وإعترفت وصالحت وسلمت وطبعت، والان تعيش رخاء إقتصاديا بفعل إستجابتها لهذه الشروط الاسرائيلية،
أيها الإخوة والأخوات، ما شهدناه خلال الحملات الانتخابية والاعلامية والسياسية، خلال كل الأسابيع الماضية، من حرب سياسية وإعلامية وتحريض طائفي ومذهبي على المقاومة يصح فيه قول أحد إخواننا الأعزاء أن ما نواجهه في هذه الانتخابات حرب تموز سياسية. البعض في لبنان اعترضوا على هذا التوصيف، لا هذا توصيف صحيح، لماذا؟ في حرب تموز 2006 التي كانت أدواتها عسكرية وسلاح جو وقصف وصواريخ ونار وقتل وتدمير، ماذا كان هدف الحرب؟ إلغاء المقاومة، التخلص من المقاومة – اليوم هم يقولون أنهم يريدون أن يتخلصوا من المقاومة – ونزع سلاحها، ألم تكن هذه أحد أهداف حرب تموز العسكرية؟! الآن ما يطرحه هؤلاء حرب تموز سياسية، لأن الهدف الذي ينادون به، يقولون للناس صوتوا لنا حتى نذهب إلى المجلس النيابي ونشكل حكومة لننزع سلاح حزب الله، لننزع سلاح المقاومة، أليس كذلك؟ هذه أدبياتهم، إذاً هذه حرب تموز سياسية بأدوات سياسية وليس بأدوات عسكرية، بالخطاب وبالتحريض وبالتلفزيون وبالكذب وبالافتراءات وبالاتهامات وبالدجل وبالوعود الكاذبة ووو إلى آخره… أيها الإخوة والأخوات، يا أهلنا في الجنوب وفي كل لبنان، أنتم الذين انتصرتم على حرب تموز العسكرية فبقيت المقاومة وبقي سلاح المقاومة، انتصرتم بصمودكم، بدمائكم، بعرق جبينكم، بسهركم، بشجاعتكم، بثباتكم، اليوم نحن نتطلع إليكم في كل الدوائر الانتخابية لنقول لكم يجب أن تنتصروا في حرب تموز السياسية بإرادتكم، بأصواتكم، بوفائكم وبصدقكم. في حرب تموز العسكرية تطلب الأمر أن نضحي بالأبناء، بالأعزاء، بالأحبة، كثير من الشهداء، كثير من الجرحى، عشرات آلاف البيوت المهدمة، أما اليوم في حرب تموز السياسية نخرج من بيوتنا صباح الخامس عشر من أيار، من بيوتنا التي بنيناها بعرق جبيننا ونحن مرفوعي الرأس نشعر بالعزة والكرامة والحرية ونمارس المقاومة السياسية لتبقى لنا المقاومة العسكرية المسلحة، هذا هو المطلوب في الخامس عشر من أيار. أقول للبنانيين، لبعض المترددين، يقول لك المقاومة على رأسنا، سلاح المقاومة على رأسنا، لكن نحن لا نريد أن نصوت لأنه عندنا أزمة معيشية، يعني إذا لم تصوت للمقاومة ستُحل أزمتك المعيشية، أصلاً يا أخي ويا أختي إذا كان هناك أمل في لبنان أن تحل أزمتك المعيشية هي بسبب المقاومة التي ستضمن للبنان استخراج النفط والغاز من المياه الإقليمية.
أيها الإخوة والأخوات، على الجميع أن يعرف في لبنان أن هذه المقاومة ليست شيئاً عابراً يمكن للبعض – لا أريد أن أستعمل أي عبارات ولا أن أسيء لأحد – يمكن أن يتوهم البعض أو يتصور البعض أنه يمكن التخلص من هذه المقاومة ومن سلاح هذه المقاومة، هذه المقاومة هي الإرث الانساني والحضاري والأخلاقي والروحي والمعنوي والمادي لشعبنا ولمناطقنا وخصوصاً للجنوب منذ عام 1948، يعني 74 عاماً، هذه المقاومة اليوم هي إرث، هي بقية، هي تجسيد، هي خلاصة 74 عاماً من الآلام والدموع والتهجير والخوف والقتال والدماء والدموع والشهداء والجرحى والمهجرين والمنكوبين والبيوت المهدمة، هي حصيلة تضحيات قادتنا الكبار من الإمام الصدر إلى بقية علمائنا وقادتنا، هذه المقاومة التي أدعوكم اليوم إلى أن تقفوا إلى جانبها وإلى جانب حلفائها، لأن حلفاءها مستهدفون أيضاً، هي ليست مقاومة فلان وفلان عام 2022، هي مقاومة الإمام شرف الدين، هي مقاومة الإمام موسى الصدر، هي مقاومة سماحة آية الله السيد محمد حسين فضل الله، هي مقاومة سماحة آية الله الشيخ محمد مهدي شمس الدين، هذه المقاومة قُدم من أجل أن تتواجد وتنمو وتكبر وتتعاظم وتنتصر أغلى التضحيات، شيخ الشهداء الشيخ راغب حرب، سيد الشهداء السيد عباس الموسوي، خيرة شبابنا وقادتنا، من محمد سعد إلى خليل جرادي إلى عماد مغنية وفي طريق الدفاع عنها مصطفى بدرالدين. هذه المقاومة حتى وصلت إلى ما وصلت إليه اليوم هي حصيلة آلاف الرجال والنساء الذين ذهبوا إلى المعتقلات، إلى معتقل الخيام، معتقل عتليت، معتقل أنصار، السجون الإسرائيلية، وعاشوا معاناة طويلة. هي حصيلة تضحيات آلاف الجرحى الذين ما زالوا يعانون حتى اليوم من آلام الجراح. إذاً هذه ليست مقاومة عابرة، وشعبها لن يتخلى عنها، لأنهم هم المقاومة، لأنهم هم أصحابها، نعم، من العوامل المهمة لتعاظم هذه المقاومة إنتصار الثورة الإسلامية في إيران، وقوف الجمهورية الإسلامية إلى جانب المقاومة ودعمها لها بكل وسائل الدعم، وقوف سوريا إلى جانب المقاومة ودعمها لها بكل وسائل الدعم، ولكن في نهاية المطاف هذه المقاومة هي مقاومة هذا الشعب وأهل هذه القرى وهذه البلدات وهذه العائلات وهؤلاء العلماء وهذه المدارس وهذه الحوزات، هي مقاومة الشعب اللبناني، مسلمين ومسيحيين وشيعة وسنة ودروز وبالتالي لا يتوقع أحد أن يتخلى شعب المقاومة عن المقاومة.
اليوم أيها الإخوة والأخوات – الآن خطابنا اليوم كله ذهب على المقاومة لأنها عنوان الانتخابات – من يريد أن يحافظ على لبنان فليصوت للمقاومة وحلفائها، من يريد أن يدافع عن لبنان، من يريد أن يحمي لبنان، من يريد أن يتمكن من استخراج ثروة لبنان النفطية والغازية فليصوت للمقاومة وحلفائها، من يريد أن يحافظ على مياه لبنان فليصوت للمقاومة ولحلفائها، من يريد أن يبقى لبنان في قلب المعادلة الإقليمية، من يريد أن يبقى لبنان محترماً في نظر العالم، يزوره العالم ويأتي إليه العالم فليصوت للمقاومة وحلفائها. هذا نداؤنا لكم، طبعاً بالمناسبة في ختام الكلمة اليوم، الاسرائيليون أعلنوا عن بدء مناورتهم الكبرى في فلسطين المحتلة وكما قلت في يوم القدس اليوم نحن نجتمع هنا وفي بقية الأيام سوف نستمر في العمل الانتخابي ولكن كما قلت في يوم القدس الآن أعلن وأقول لكم الآن الآن – يعني في الساعة السابعة – لأن اليوم بالنهار الجنرالات بدأوا يلملموا أنفسهم، ابتداءً من الساعة السابعة نحن طلبنا من تشكيلات المقاومة الإسلامية في لبنان أن تستنفر سلاحها وقياداتها وكادرها ومجاهديها ضمن نسب معينة ترتفع مع الوقت وتكون في أتم الجهوزية، اللبنانييون سيكونون منشغلين في الانتخابات، هناك من يهاجم المقاومة وهناك من يدافع عنها ولكن المقاومة لا تأبه بكل أولئك الذين لا يعرفون ما يقولون وتسهر في ليلها وفي نهارها لتكون على أهبة الاستعداد ولتقول للعدو وأجدد القول للعدو أي خطأ باتجاه لبنان، أي خطأ باتجاه لبنان لن نتردد على مواجهته، لسنا خائفين لا من مناوراتك الكبرى ولا من جيشك ولا من وجودك، ونحن الذين كنا نؤمن منذ أكثر من عشرين عاماً أنك أوهن من بيت العنكبوت فكيف بنا اليوم.
اليوم أيها الإخوة – بقيّة الملفات غداً إن شاء الله – اليوم يا أهلنا في الجنوب أيها الشرفاء يا أكرم الناس وأطهر الناس وأشرف الناس موعدنا معكم في الخامس عشر من أيار مع المقاومة، مع الإمام موسى الصدر، مع السيد عباس، مع الشيخ راغب، مع كل الشهداء والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته.
Hezbollah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah delivered on Monday a speech during the electoral festival the party held in South Lebanon ahead of the Lebanese Parliamentary Elections.
Welcoming all the participants in the electoral festival held in in the cities of Nabatieh and Tyre, Sayyed Nasrallah thanked them for their massive contribution.
As His Eminence wished he had been among the huge crowd in person, he underscored that “this is part of the battle’s requirements.”
“There are study centers that conducted opinion polls on people’s priorities and concerns, and the vast majority were talking about living, economic, financial, and electricity concerns, high prices and corruption, and few people were tackling the resistance arms,” He elaborated.
However, Sayyed Nasrallah lamented the fact that “Some political forces have unfortunately made the issue of the resistance weapons the main topic of their electoral campaigns.”
“I want all the Lebanese to know that those who call today for the disarmament of the resistance are ignorant of what the south has experienced and what its people have suffered since the establishment of the temporary usurper entity in Palestine,” he confirmed.
On this level, the Resistance Leader unveiled that “A political leader calling for disarming the resistance claimed during the national dialogue that ‘Israel’ has not practiced aggression against Lebanon since its establishment.”
“On days like these in the 1948, the Zionist enemy invaded the southern villages, sanctified the lands and terrorized the people,” he recalled, pointing out that “‘Israel’ displaced the residents of the border towns in the South and carried out a horrible massacre in Hola prior to the establishment of any resistance movement.”
He further stressed that “Those saying that ‘Israel’ attacked the South in response to Palestinian operations are ignorant or liars. In the 1950s, the “Israeli” enemy’s army used to enter into southern villages and to even kidnap security forces. In the 1960s, “Israel” even bombed the al-Wazzani project and the state remained silent.”
As he cautioned that “Some Lebanese parties have recently resorted to falsification and disinformation to face the resistance,” he reminded that “South Lebanon, and its border villages have never been set on the list of the Lebanese state’s priorities or interests.”
According to His Eminence, “The southerners adopted the choice of resistance as it was their sole option after being abandoned by the Arab states and the Lebanese state.”
“Some politicians do not consider ‘Israel’ an enemy and do not believe that it has ambitions regarding Lebanon’s water and gas,” Sayyed warned, sending a sounding message to all who is concerned: “Let those who want to disarm the resistance understand what this resistance is. No one will be able to disarm the resistance.”
Meanwhile, he urged the Lebanese to acknowledge that “their state has been studying a defense strategy since 1975.”
Recalling the words of Imam Sayyed Musa Sadr who spoke of “the eradication of the ‘Israeli’ entity even before the establishment of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” Hezbollah Secretary General reminded that “Imam al-Sadr, who has trained and acquired weapons, considered that training on using arms is a duty like learning to pray and acquiring the Qur’an.”
“Imam al-Sadr stressed that self-defense and dignity are part of a human’s decision that does not need permission from the state,” he stated, noting that “until today, Hezbollah didn’t dare to say what Imam al-Sadr used to say about ‘Israel’.”
In parallel, His Eminence reminded that “Imam al-Sadr established the resistance and planned for it. Ever since he arrived in Lebanon, he called on the Lebanese state to protect the South from the “Israeli” attacks.”
“Our scholars and leaders chose the state to fight under its banner, but the state was the one that abandoned the south and its people,” he emphasized, viewing that “Those calling for abolishing the resistance and disarming it are overlooking achievements that are the greatest in Lebanon’s history.”
Reiterating that “The resistance alone, with all its factions, liberated the entire occupied Lebanese lands and prisoners behind ‘Israeli bars,” Sayyed Nasrallah went on to say: “By liberating Lebanon, the resistance has destroyed the image of “Great Israel”, which is unable to stay in Lebanon, given that Lebanon is the weakest among the countries. How can it occupy Syria and Egypt?”
“The resistance restored to Lebanon and the countries of the region self-confidence and faith in the ability to liberate, and this was achieved by blood. The resistance in Lebanon defused the mines of sectarian strife after the ‘Israeli’ defeat and withdrawal from the South, contrary to what happened in other regions. The resistance is doing something that is much more important than liberation, which is protecting entire Lebanon from ‘Israeli’ greed and aggression,” he detailed.
In addition, His Eminence wondered: “Who will protect the South and Lebanon if the resistance abandons its duties? Are they offering us an alternative to face ‘Israel’?”
“When asking those who demand the disarmament of the resistance on the alternative they have nothing but ‘hand over your weapons to the state’, while Hezbollah has presented a defensive strategy,” he said, pointing out that “They have boycotted the dialogue table called for by President Aoun because they do not want to engage in discussions.”
Expressing Hezbollah’s readiness for discussing a national defense strategy because we have reason and evidence, Sayyed Nasrallah asked: “Who in Lebanon can take a political decision to bomb the ‘Israeli’ settlements in case ‘Israel’ attacked Lebanon? We respect the army and it has a national creed and competent officers and soldiers, but is it capable of shouldering this responsibility at the current moment?”
He also warned that “Those who call for the disarmament of the resistance, whether they know or not, want Lebanon to be exposed to the enemy in the land, sea and air.”
“Does ‘Israel’ dare today to bomb any area in Lebanon? On what does Lebanon rely on to extract its wealth from gas and oil? On its right? Force is the only way to gain your rights.”
Uncovering that “Hundreds of billions of dollars are present in our sea and waters,” the Resistance Leader confirmed that “The Americans come to negotiate the demarcation of borders because they know that Lebanon has a resistance.”
To the Lebanese, Sayyed Nasrallah said: “You have a resistance that can tell the enemy when it bans Lebanon from extracting its energy resources it will also be banned and not a single company will come to operate in the Karish Field.”
“They want Lebanon to abandon its biggest strength for extracting its oil and gas,” he cautioned, assuring that “We have a golden opportunity to extract our resources especially amid the Ukrainian war and the demand on gas.”
According to His Eminence, “Those calling for disarming the resistance are doing so to sell their stance to the US.”
“Even if Hezbollah is disarmed, the Americans will ask you to normalize with the ‘Israeli’ entity and naturalize the Palestinians in Lebanon. The goal in the July military war was to abolish the resistance, and these demands are the same today, which means that this ‘is a political July war’.”
In response, Sayyed Nasrallah addressed Hezbollah supporters by saying: “You who triumphed in the July war after which the resistance remained, we look for you today and tell you that you must triumph in the ‘Political July War’. We have to go out on the 15th of May and practice political resistance to preserve the military one.”
“Some say that he will not vote for the resistance because of the economic crisis, and we say the resistance will ensure that oil and gas are extracted from regional waters to resolve the crisis,” he stressed.
Urging the Lebanese to stand by the resistance and by its allies, because they are also targeted, Sayyed Nasrallah assured the Lebanese state and people that “they have a brave resistance that can prevent the enemy from exploring for oil and gas.”
“Resistance is the civilizational heritage and the personification of 47 years of pain, fighting, and martyrs, beginning with Imam Musa Sadr and all our honorable figures. This resistance is not a transient resistance and its people will not abandon it. This resistance is the resistance of Imam Sharafeddine, Imam al-Sadr, Sayyed Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah and Sheikh Mohammed Mahdi Shamseddine.”
Commenting the announced “Israeli” military drills, Sayyed Nasrallah declared that “Starting from 7 o’clock we asked the resistance formations in Lebanon to mobilize their weapons, cadres and leaders within certain percentages that would rise with time to be fully prepared.”
To the “Israeli” enemy, the Resistance Leader sent a clear message: “We’ll not hesitate to face any folly towards Lebanon. We’re not afraid of your drills and your presence, and we are the ones who said 20 years ago that ‘Israel’ is weaker than the spider’s web.”

Al-Quds International Day is celebrated every last Friday of the Holy Month of Ramadan. This year, it will be held on Friday 29th. Before this occasion, a Virtual Quds Forum is held each year via video conference, as a “Unified Platform” that gathers leaders, officials, and personalities from the regional Axis of Resistance.

Once again, comes upon us this great occasion, the occasion of faith, jihad and devotion, I mean the International Day of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) or the International Al-Quds Day.
Day after day, becomes clear to us the extent of the greatness and wisdom that was manifested in Imam Khomeini’s – may God be pleased with him – Declaration of the last Friday of the blessed month of Ramadan as an International Day for Al-Quds and his call to the peoples of the (Islamic) Nation, of the world and to the whole world to revive this occasion and consider it a central day for Al-Quds, Palestine, the people of Palestine and this great historical battle.
This becomes clear day after day when we see that this issue is buzzing with life again, you find more supporters, helpers & sympathizers for it, thinkers, theorists, as well as Mujahideen (fighters) who are ready to sacrifice for it, while the enemy’s strategy from the beginning – meaning the enemy who established this entity, I mean the World Arrogance (Imperialism), the Zionist movement, and those who cooperated with them behind the scenes, be it governments and regimes in the Arab world –, their strategy was to bet on time, that this issue be forgotten with time, that this issue be consumed by events, and becomes forgotten and forsaken with time, and that the peoples of the Middle East, including the Palestinian people, with all the challenges, trials and difficulties they face, will in one way or another abandon this issue or, at the very least, it will not remain at the top of the priority list.
Their strategy has always been betting on the despair of the Palestinian people, of our peoples and of our (Islamic) Nation, on their despair and frustration, and on the belief that there is no horizon before us, and we only have to surrender and accept the crumbs that are offered to the Palestinians in Palestine, and to the rest of the peoples of the region in the issues that are still pending with the usurping entity, whether with Lebanon or Syria, for example.
So their bet was on forgetfulness, on fatigue, despair, frustration, and ultimately on surrender and acceptance. But what is happening is the exact opposite, thanks to the blessing of faith and jihad, the blessing of sacrifices and insight expressed by countries, forces, movements and peoples of the Axis of Resistance, this faith, this presence, this perseverance, this challenge, this hard work, made the results completely different.
Today, Al-Quds returns to be the target issue, and the main issue and the axis of all the Axis of Resistance. That is why this year the title or slogan “Al-Quds is the axis” was launched. Our axis, the growing Axis of Resistance, should in truth also be called “the Axis of Al-Quds”, because in fact, Al-Quds is the central point that unites these countries, peoples, movements, parties, resistance factions and all elites, whether in the Axis of Resistance or at the level of the peoples of the (Islamic) Nation.
Al-Quds today returns to the thought, awareness, emotion, feelings and conscience, but most importantly it also returns with force to the field, rather to all fields. For the sake of Al-Quds today, real armies, strong and powerful fighters are built, with great strength, their minds, eyes, hearts and souls are fixed to Al-Quds and are tied to it. Al-Quds returns today and it has a sword in Gaza, defending it as it happened last year in the Battle of the Sword of Al-Quds. In the past days and weeks of Ramadan, we witnessed how the Battle of Al-Quds was strongly present in the conscience of the Palestinian people and also in the mind of the enemy, the enemy’s calculations, the enemy’s decisions, and the enemy’s fear.
Al-Quds returns and today has an axis that gathers to create its strong and solid regional equation in order first to protect it, and secondly to liberate it, God willing. I am confirming this equation today, equation on which we are working to complete all its strong, solid and integrated elements, God willing.
Al-Quds and its people in Palestine return today, inside the territories occupied in 1948 and in Gaza, making epics that shake the entity, as happened in the past few days, and prove to this entity and its masters in the world that this proud, oppressed, steadfast, patient and Mujaheed Palestinian people cannot forget, cannot despair, and cannot make concessions or surrender, and he will never leave his land, no matter how crushing the daily pressures imposed on him, how difficult his life is, and how great his sacrifices are. In the end, the one who will have to leave is the (Zionist) occupier and the usurper.
Al-Quds, o brothers and sisters, is the responsibility of the entire (Islamic) Nation, and we in Hezbollah as part of this Nation consider ourselves in the front line, in the front line along with our dear brothers and honorable Mujahideen in the Palestinian resistance factions. We work from this position and bear all the consequences and pressures and we look forward to the day when Al-Quds will return to its people and to the Nation.
We know that the most important reason for what we are exposed to in Lebanon as well as to what countries and resistance movements in our region are subjected to, everyone who belongs to this line, to this axis, to this idea, to this origin, to this goal, the siege, sanctions and restrictions we are subjected to at the international and regional and Interior levels, the main goal of all this pressure is to force us to abandon Al-Quds and Palestine, to abandon the logic of Resistance and the culture of Resistance, its real goal is to push us all to surrender to the will of the United States of America and Israel to establish the existence of the usurping entity, and also to accept normalization in all forms of normalization with this entity by all countries in the region, and also accept the crumbs that are presented to the Palestinian people and the peoples of the region.
We consider that steadfastness here in the face of these restrictions, siege, terrorism and threats, is an essential part of the battle of Resistance from the battle of destiny, the future and the making of the future, and just as killing, assassination and wars have not brought us down, the siege, pressure, terrorism and defamation will not bring us down.
We and all the honorable people in this (Islamic) Nation have a date with Al-Quds, God willing, to pray in it (once it is Liberated). This is our covenant with Al-Quds, this is our covenant with our proud Palestinian people, and this is our covenant with all our dear martyrs who perished on the road to Al-Quds, men and women, young and old in all the Middle East, in Palestine and Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt and all the neighboring countries who suffered directly from the Israeli aggression and the existence of this entity. And this is our covenant with our great martyrs, with our leaders and our elders in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran and Yemen, foremost among them is the martyr of Al-Quds, the great and inspiring leader, Hajj Qassem Soleimani, may God Almighty be pleased with him, who spent his honorable life in the service of this goal, this path, and this Axis, and witnessed many of his jihad and sacrifices of this axis, and witnessed many of his victories, and was always eager to witness the great and decisive victory to come, God willing.
With the blessing of this pure blood, and with loyalty to it, we will complete our path no matter how great the sacrifices, threats, difficulties and dangers, and as we have passed all the previous harsh stages and moved from victory to victory, we, with the help of God Almighty, are standing on the threshold of the great, huge and final victory that we see very close, God willing.
And, God willing, we will continue together hand in hand and shoulder to shoulder of all the Resistance factions, all the Resistance movements, all the peoples of the Resistance, all the countries of the Resistance. We will break all chains, foil all conspiracies, all the daggers that try to stab us in our backs and in our chests will fall, and our Qibla (aim) and our real battle will be to create complete freedom for the sanctities, and Al-Quds will remain the title, goal and foundation, and it is the Axis.

Nasrallah: the Palestinian People is Unbreakable
Speech by Hezbollah Secretary General Sayed Hassan Nasrallah on April 11, 2022, about the internal situation in Lebanon.
[…] I must begin with Palestine as an introduction, to say that we must have the utmost deference, respect and pride in the heroism displayed by the Palestinian youth, men and women, in the heroic deeds of its children and old people, in their great faith in God and their cause, in their enormous courage and strength and determination that goes to the point of risking death to shape a dignified life for their people and their country, and hoping to liberate their holy places, the holy places of the entire (Islamic) Nation.
Likewise, we must have the utmost deference and respect for the families of the martyrs, the fathers, mothers and relatives, and their clear, strong, lucid and decisive stances, and for the endurance of this fighting and patient people despite a long history of massacres. These days we commemorate the Deir Yassin massacre, which took place in April 1948. Despite a long history of massacres and wars, the latest being the Battle of the Sword of Al-Quds (in May 2021), despite expulsion, oppression, exile, refugee and displacement camps, abandonment, stabbing in the back even by countries, regimes and organizations that were supposed to stand by the Palestinian people.
Israel killed 547 child during the 51 day war on Gaza. 68% of them were under 12 y/o, with 164 killed in drone strikes.
3,374 child was injured, including 1,000 permanently.
What is happening these days has quite grandiose implications and consequences with regard to the struggle against the (Israeli) enemy, the future of Palestine and the future of the temporary entity that is the usurping Israeli entity. Of course, one of the most important consequences and implications of what has happened in the last few days, implications of real strategic importance to me, is what we have been talking about for years, but in the last few days I have been reading statements by Israeli commentators, analysts and journalists who recognize this truth that we have been talking about for many years: it is completely illusory and wrong to bet on the despair of the Palestinian people, on the collapse of their will, on their renunciation and abandonment of Palestine, the Palestinian cause and the holy places. Since 1948, and even before 1948 and until today, this people inherits (its sacred cause) from one generation to the next, and the young men and women whose names we have heard and whose pictures we have seen on television, who belong to this new generation of Palestinians, all inherit the Resistance, the endurance, the cause, the jihad, the yearning for martyrdom and struggle, generation after generation.
If the Israelis imagine that the normalization of their relations with some Arab countries, the visits of some normalizing Arab officials to the temporary Zionist entity, if they imagine that this official abandonment and neglect of the Arab countries (towards the Palestinian cause) can lead the Palestinian people to abandon their cause and accept the crumbs offered to them, as they had hoped with the Deal of the Century, they are deluding themselves.
Today, thank God, Zionist commentators, analysts and writers themselves are beginning to state this truth, that despite all that has happened, Israel faces an invincible people, which it is impossible to subdue, to bring to its knees, to impose solutions on. There is no other way out than to respond to their demands, to their rights, even if it is only the minimum of their rights. This is what (leading) Israelis say. For (they recognize that) more confrontation can only bring (Israel) more humiliation and defeat, and that they will only find (in the Palestinians) more courage, endurance, faith, determination and readiness to persevere on this path until the end.
In any case, what is happening in and around Palestine requires that we dwell on it at length and talk about it in detail, which I do not have time to do (in this speech devoted to the Lebanese domestic situation), but we will have the opportunity to do so on the International Day of Al-Quds on the last Friday of Ramadan (on April 27, during which I will make, as usual, a long speech devoted exclusively to this issue), where we will be able to express our support and the support of the peoples of the (Islamic) Nation for the Palestinian cause. I call on the Muslim world in general and Lebanon in particular to participate massively in this Day. For our part, we will hold a large popular celebration in the southern suburbs of Beirut, and I call on all my brothers and sisters, all those who support the Palestinian cause, to demonstrate on this day to express our support for this people and its cause, and our participation in its struggle and its inevitable victory, with the grace of God the Most High and Exalted. Speech by Hezbollah Secretary General, Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, on March 1, 2022, devoted to the thoughts of his predecessor, Sayed Abbas Mousawi (assassinated by Israel in 1992).
[…] Allow me to devote the few minutes I have left to the current situation (in Ukraine), because I cannot avoid talking about it, although I will content myself with a few quick comments for now.
What is happening today in the battle between Russia and Ukraine is of (great) concern to the whole world. It is already clear that the impact and repercussions of these events are far-reaching and dangerous for the world, especially for Russia and Europe. We do not know in which direction the situation will develop nor how far things will go. There are serious fears among some people that this will go further than a Russian-European conflict, that is a Third World War, God forbid. Either way, what is happening is very dangerous, and anything is possible.
Regardless of the stance anyone may take on the battle going on there —some support Russia, some oppose its intervention, some remain neutral, but I am not going to address this issue now—, I want to make an appeal, something many people already did, but I want to add my voice to them: I call on (everyone) to follow (closely) this major international event in its developments as well as in its implications and consequences, and to draw lessons from what is happening every day and every hour. Because the events that are unfolding are full of lessons and teachings on which we, the inhabitants of this region, of this country, can and even must base ourselves, in our struggles and in what is happening at home, both for our present and for our future.
I will only cite a few examples (of the lessons that we must learn). First, one such example that many people talk about—thank goodness a lot of people see clearly—is double standards. Double standards. Russia intervened in Ukraine and carried out a major military operation, a war. And we see how the whole world reacted. Of course, there is a fear that European countries will go to war with Russia, that the United States will go to war with Russia, but apart from directly fighting (Russia), they have done everything they can to do (to punish Russia): blockade, sanctions, whether for the media, the economy, the banks, closure of airspace, straits, seas, ports, sending weapons in Ukraine, opening doors for volunteers from all over the world to go (fight) there, supporting Ukraine, glorifying the so-called “Ukrainian Resistance”… You see how the world is reacting.
Speaking of double standards, when the United States invaded Afghanistan, how did the world react to the Americans? You know the answer. When the United States invaded Iraq, and in truth (completely) destroyed it, killing hundreds of thousands of people, just as they ravaged Afghanistan and killed tens of thousands of people at least, how did the world behave with the United States? And in all the wars started by the United States, which constitute the majority of the wars that have occurred in the world, how has the world reacted? And how does it behave now (against Russia)? How does the world deal with the Israeli enemy, this temporary entity, in the face of its past and present wars against the Palestinians, its wars and its blockade against Gaza, during the recent battle of the “Sword of Al-Quds (in May 2021)? Or in the Israeli wars against Lebanon, the massacres it perpetrated there, the 33-day war in July 2006… How did the world behave? And how is it currently behaving (in the face of Russian intervention in Ukraine)? And what about the war against Yemen, which has been going on for 7 years and is entering its 8th year? Years of bombardments, massacres, destruction, children (killed by the hundreds), epidemics, blockade, famine, etc. How does the world behave in the face of this? This point is clear (double standards).
We must therefore base ourselves on this reality to understand things. We live in a world that only respects the powerful. The United States, because they are powerful, arrogant, hegemonic, holding by the neck many (countries and governments that are enslaved to them), can commit all (kinds of aggression and) injustice without the world protesting. One of the latest acts of oppression by the United States was the seizure of $7 billion from the Afghan central bank on deposit in the United States. With one signature, Biden took half of that money to give it to the victims of the September 11 attacks—while the Afghan people had nothing to do with the attacks in New York, so this decision is totally unjustified—and will decide what to do with the remaining 3.5 billion for Afghanistan. With the stroke of a pen, he stole 3 billion 500 million dollars from the Afghan people who today suffer from hunger, cold and basic needs. Has anyone in the world opened their mouth (to condemn this act)? It’s pure and simple robbery, it couldn’t be more blatant. No one dared to open their mouths! Whereas if it was another State that had done even much less than that, the whole world would have been outraged and turned against it—the world would have stood up against this country, and would not have sat down (anytime soon).
Among the lessons to be learned from these events is to see the fate awaiting those who lay down their weapons, handing them over to others [reference to Ukraine’s 1994 renouncement of its nuclear arsenal inherited from the USSR, and/or the incessant calls to disarm Hezbollah] and relying on guarantees given by such or such country to ensure its security. Then, when war breaks out, all they can do is call for help, asking for arms and support.
But one of the most important lessons to be learned from today’s events is the responsibility of the United States in these events, confirmed by His Excellency Imam Khamenei shortly before my intervention in a televised speech. The responsibility for the current events in Ukraine lies with the United States. The United States instigated and pushed things in this direction, and never worked for a political and diplomatic resolution of this crisis, which is (by no means) a crisis between Russia and Ukraine. It is a crisis between Russia and Europe, between Russia and the United States, between Russia and NATO. The United States did nothing to prevent the situation from coming to this, quite the contrary: they did EVERYTHING to get it there, to push things towards war. And in the end, those who will pay the price are Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, Russia and the Russian people, and Europe if we expand the scope a little, while the United States remain undisturbed far away, observing the situation, inciting, sending arms, preventing (peaceful) resolutions to the conflict and negotiations, setting conditions, making things worse, and pushing the situation in that direction. Everyone will be a loser, but the United States is trying to be the winner in this battle, while the whole world is in (great) danger. The United States instigated and pushed (Ukraine) to this war, but now they are abandoning them, doing nothing more for them than praying: Biden called to pray for Ukraine, he will send some weapons, impose some sanctions, hoping God will provide the rest, and then we’ll see.
It is also a lesson for everyone, especially those who trust the United States, who place their hopes in them, who count on them. We must all know that the current crisis, its difficulties and the dangers it poses to the whole world, it is in the first place the United States which bears the responsibility, (they whom we designate as) the Great Satan. This must be clearly present in our minds and in our stance. […]
منذ فترة من الزمن يروّج في لبنان مع اندلاع العدوان على سورية بحرب كونية قادتها الولايات المتحدة، ابتدع لبنان شعار النأي بالنفس حتى يتنصّل من موجباته التي يفرضها العديد من المعاهدات المعقودة بينه وبين الدولة السورية ويؤمّن لأميركا ما تبتغيه من حصار.
شعار رفعته آنذاك الحكومة التي كان يرأسها نجيب ميقاتي رئيس الحكومة الحالي الذي يجاهر اليوم بانّ «السعودية هي قبلته السياسية كما هي قبلته الدينية»، رغم انه يُصرّ أو يتظاهر بأنه ملتزم بسياسة النأي بالنفس وهو كلام تنفيه الوقائع.
بيد أنّ الشعار المرفوع الذي يوحي بأنّ لبنان لن يكون مع طرف دون آخر في الحرب على سورية، هذا الشعار لم يطبّق في الميدان من قبل أحد فلا الحكومة عملت به ولا مكونات السياسة اللبنانية احترمته، حيث انّ الحكومة انصاعت لأوامر الغرب بالقيادة الأميركية في أكثر من ملف يعني سورية، بخاصة في مسألة النازحين السوريين كما وفي مسائل مالية وسياسية أخرى ولم يسجل من النأي بالنفس سوى بعض المواقف اليتيمة التي اتخذها مندوب لبنان في الجامعة العربية وما عدا ذلك فقد كان انحياز لبنان الرسمي الى خصوم الحكومة السورية واضحاً من غير التباس.
أما اللبنانيون فقد كان انقسامهم واضحاً أيضاً حيال المسألة، ففي حين ذهب فريق منهم للقتال الى جانب الدولة السورية قتالاً رأى فيه انه من طبيعة العمل الاستباقي للدفاع المشروع عن النفس، فقد التزم أطراف آخرون يعملون بأوامر وإملاءات أميركية موقع العداء للحكومة السورية ونصرة من يقاتلها من مجموعات داخلية مسلحة او إرهابية استقدمت من الخارج او حتى تشكيلات عسكرية احتلت أرضاً سورية، كما هو حال القوات الأميركية والتركية. مواقف متناقضة أظهرت انّ الانقسام عمودي حادّ بين اللبنانيين دون أن يكون هناك بين الطرفين مساحة مشتركة للتفاهم.
في ظلّ هذا الوضع الخلافي أطلق البطريرك الماروني الدعوة الى حياد لبنان وأيّده في دعوته معظم الأطراف الذين جاهروا بالعداء للدولة السورية والعداء للمقاومة التي وقفت الى جانب سورية في حربها الدفاعية ضدّ الإرهاب والاحتلال الأجنبي لأراضيها، وكان بديهياً أن تنظر المقاومة الى الدعوة هذه بعين الريبة والحذر خاصة أنها ترى في سلوك من أطلقها ومن أيّده كامل الانحياز الى الغرب بقيادة أميركية وكامل الانصياع للإملاءات الأميركية وكامل الانبطاح أمام دول الخليج المنصاعة أصلاً لأميركا والتي تنفذ عدواناً تدميرياً على اليمن.
في ظلّ هذا المشهد انفجر الوضع في أوكرانيا وبدأت روسيا بتنفيذ عملية عسكرية خاصة عبر حدودها، عملية حددت أهدافها بأنها ذات طبيعة دفاعيّة من أجل ضمان حياد أوكرانيا وعدم تحوّلها الى منصة للحلف الأطلسي الذي يجاهر بالعداء لروسيا وبأنها لا تنوي احتلالاً للدولة تلك بل جلّ ما تريده ضمان أمنها القومي الذي ينتهك بالخطط الأطلسية بقيادة أميركية. أما الغرب فقد نظر الى العملية العسكرية الروسية بأنها عدوان موصوف، وأنه سيواجهه بشتى الوسائل السياسية والإعلامية والاقتصادية وتقديم المساعدات العسكرية لحكومة كييف من غير التورّط بإرسال تشكيلات من جيوش الغرب خشية الانزلاق الى حرب عالمية أطرافها دول نووية.
لقد ظهر الصراع في أوكرانيا وحولها انه صراع بين روسيا التي تبرّر أعمالها العسكرية بحق الدفاع عن النفس بأسلوب استباقي وبين الغرب بقيادة أميركا التي جهدت لاستدراج روسيا الى هذا الموقع من أجل الإجهاز عليها وتفكيكها بتكرار ما قامت به ضدّ الاتحاد السوفياتي بعد احتلال أفغانستان. ورغم هذا الوضوح في طبيعة الصراع فإنّ لبنان سارع وفي الساعات الأولى لبدء العملية العسكرية الروسية، لإدانة روسيا والمطالبة بوقف عمليتها ثم صوّت في الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة لصالح مشروع قرار أميركي أوروبي اعتمد ضدّ روسيا، مؤكداً في مواقفه بأنه ليس على الحياد ولا يتقيّد بما ورد في البيان الوزاري للحكومة من شعار النأي بالنفس، فهل أصاب لبنان أم أخطأ في مواقفه؟ وهل الحياد ممكن والنأي بالنفس مستطاع؟
من البديهي أن يكون لبنان وهو من الدول المؤسسة للأمم المتحدة صاحب سياسة تدعو الى الأمن والسلام وحلّ النزاعات بالطرق السلميّة بعيداً عن الاحتكام الى القوة والسلاح مع ما يستتبعه من قتل وتدمير وتشريد وهو الدولة التي عانت ولا تزال تعاني من العدوان والاحتلال «الإسرائيلي» وعلى أرضها وحقوقها وسيادتها. ولكن على لبنان قبل ان يتخذ موقفاً من صراع دولي أن يتحقق ويمحّص انعكاسات موقفه وتداعياته عليه وعلى سياسة الحياد التي يدّعيها. ولكن هل يستطيع لبنان أن يصمد أمام الضغوط الأجنبية عامة والأميركية ـ الأوروبية ـ الخليجية خاصة؟
لقد أثبتت التجربة في لبنان أنّ القول شيء والفعل والممارسة شيء آخر، والأمر رهن بمن يتولى زمام الأمور في البلاد، فإذا تذكرنا أيام تلت طرد «إسرائيل» من جنوب لبنان في العام ٢٠٠٠ وكم صمد لبنان أمام الضغط الأميركي الرامي لحمله على التنازل امام «إسرائيل» عن حقوقه في أرضه، لوصلنا الي نتيجة مفادها انّ لبنان المتمسك بحقه وبجيشه وبمقاومته قادر على مواجهة الضغوط الأميركية، فقد حاولت مادلين أولبريت وزيرة الخارجية الأميركية وعبر مكالمات هاتفية لمدة أربع ساعات ان تثني لبنان عن مواقفه ولم تستطع وانتزع لبنان حقه في أرضه كما رآه.
بيد انّ نتائج الضغط الأميركي على لبنان في المسألة الأوكرانية جاءت بنتيجة معاكسة، حيث إنّ هاتف او زيارة من سفيرة أميركا الى المسؤولين أنتجت بيان إدانة لروسيا بسرعة قياسية سبق لبنان فيها كلّ الدول العربية ومعظم الدول الأوروبية، ثم كانت زيارة أخرى حملت لبنان على دعم الموقف الأميركيّ في مجلس الأمن ضدّ روسيا.
وهنا قد يروق للبنانيين الذين اتخذوا هذه المواقف من غير العودة الى مجلس الوزراء الذي هو حسب الدستور السلطة التنفيذية التي ترسم وتنفذ سياسات الدولة، قد يروق لهم القول بأنّ موقف لبنان منسجم مع مبادئه الرافضة للعدوان والاحتكام للقوة في حلّ النزاعات. ولكن أيضاً من مبادئ لبنان دعم الحق المشروع بالدفاع عن النفس، وهنا يجب ان نأخذ بالاعتبار الهواجس المشروعة لكلّ من الطرفين، الامر الذي لم يعمل به لبنان بنتيجة الضغط الأميركي.
هذه الوقائع تفضي بنا الى نتيجة واحدة وهي انّ الحياد المطلوب هو أمر غير مضمون في بلد كلبنان في ظلّ ضعف الدولة ووهنها ووجود ساسة لديهم مصالح يخشون عليها، فالحياد موقف لا يمكن ان يتخذه إلا قوي لا يخشى تهديداً ولا يستجيب لإملاء، أما الضعيف الخائف على مصلحة مالية او سواها، فإنه ينظر الي مصلحته ويتخذ الموقف الذي يحفظها دون التوقف عند تأثير ذلك على الدولة والوطن الذي يتولى مسؤولية فيه، وأخيراً نذكر بشروط الحياد التي هي الى جانب القوة الذاتية، هناك القبول الخارجيّ فهل يقبل الخارج بحياد لبنان ويدعه وشأنه أم يريد لبنان منصة ومسرحاً وقاعدة لعملياته وسياسته؟ الواقع يثبت انّ من يطلب حياد لبنان هو كمن يبحث عن النجوم في رابعة النهار. فتحوّلوا الى امتلاك القوة والبحث عمن يتولى الشأن العام ويقدّمه على أموره الخاصة.
في حروب ترسيم الخرائط الممتدة على مساحة العالم، لبنان ليس بعيداً، ولا حاجة للبحث عن البوصلة، فهي كانت وستبقى في ترسيم الحدود البحرية، حيث الأميركي والإسرائيلي حاضران بقوة، وحيث المقاومة حاضرة بقوة، وحيث سورية وروسيا وفرنسا وإيران وتركيا، إضافة لأميركا، أطراف غير مباشرة في كل ما يتصل بمعارك الغاز والطاقة وشبكات الأنابيب والأسواق، ولا يستطيع أحد أن يتجاهل الارتباط الوثيق بين التحريك المتسارع لملف التفاوض من قبل الأميركيين وبين تزاحم الاستحقاقات الدولية والإقليمية، خصوصاً التي تتصل بحرب الغاز التي تتخذ عنواناً آخر اسمه أوكرانيا، ومفاوضات الغاز التي تتخذ عنواناً آخر اسمه الملف النووي الإيراني.

كل دول العالم تبحث في هذه الحروب الكبيرة والصغيرة عن مصالحها، وترسم سياساتها على أساسها، ولبنان للأسف إما مذعور بلا سبب للذعر، أو مجامل لحد النفاق بوهم التزلف والاسترضاء بلا سبب. فمصلحة لبنان قبل الحديث عن موازين القوى وفرص الفوز بتحقيق المصلحة، هي مصلحة واضحة، بنيل أوسع مساحة ممكنة من المدى البحري الممتد حتى الخط 29 والذي يشكل حقل قانا أحد أبرز حقوله الواعدة. وهذا ما لا يستطيع أحد إنكاره. ومصلحة لبنان هي الوصول سريعاً لبدء استخراج الثروات للاستفادة المبكرة التي تفرضها حاجاته الحيوية والمصيرية في مواجهة حال الانهيار، والاستفادة المبكرة من الحاجات الاستثنائية التي تعيشها الأسواق والدول، ومصلحة لبنان أن يكون ضمن حلف لتصدير الغاز يضمه مع سورية وروسيا، ولا مانع بأن يضم فرنسا ومصر شرط ألا يضمّ “إسرائيل”، كما هو حال الأنبوب الذي يرعاه وزير الخارجية الأميركية السابق مايك بومبيو.

السؤال حول فرص تحقيق هذه المصلحة ما تتيحه موازين القوى، تجيب عليه وقائع تتصل بركيزتين واضحتين، الأولى هي قوة المقاومة وحضورها. وهذه الركيزة التي جلبت الأميركي للوساطة وفرضت على الإسرائيلي التفاوض. والثانية هي أزمة الغاز المتفاقمة في العالم والتي تجعل الأميركي مستعجلاً والإسرائيلي مستعجلاً أكثر، وبدلا من أن يتساءل بعض المسؤولين اللبنانيين عن كيفية استرضاء الأميركي، عليهم أن يفهموا أن المرحلة تتيح للبنان رفع سقف طلباته والتصرف بلغة القوي، وأنه إن فعل ذلك فسيجد أن الأميركي مضطر لأخذ طلباته بالإعتبار طلباً للوصول إلى اتفاق في أقرب وقت.

يأتي المبعوث الأميركي آموس هوكشتاين بعدما سبقته ورقة مقترحاته، فيما الحكومة تهدر ماء وجهها في الحرب الأوكرانية لاسترضاء الأميركي، وتتموضع بطريقة غريبة عجيبة لا تشبه لبنان الذي كان قبل أيام يتغنى قادته بحياده، ويدعون لتكريسه نهجا مقوننا على الصعيد العالمي، فتنقلب الآية عندما يصير الأميركي هو المتضرر من حياد لبنان. والسؤال هل يمكن للبنان تسويق الغاز بعد التنقيب في أنبوب مشترك مع “إسرائيل”، وهل يمكن للبنان أن ينال بالتذلل للأميركي حقوقاً، بما في ذلك ما يتصل بصندوق النقد الدولي، أم ان القضية تتصل بحسابات ترسمها العقوبات فقط؟

لبنان قويّ وقادر على فرض مصالحه، والعالم في حال تسابق، وموقع لبنان يتيح حجز مقعد فاعل في مفاوضات الغاز، ومن خلفها أسواق الغاز، وحسابات القوة تبدأ بالمقاومة وتنتهي بالإجابة عن سؤال حلفاء الغاز!
Hezbollah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah delivered a speech on Wednesday during a ceremony held by the resistance group marking the anniversary of its Martyr Leaders. The festival was held in the Sayyed Shuhada Complex in Beirut’s southern suburb, in parallel with similar gatherings in the villages to which the three martyr leaders belong.
Hezbollah martyred leaders are Sheikh Ragheb Harb, Sayyed Abbas al-Moussawi, and Hajj Imad Mughniye, with their respective hometowns as Jibchit, Nabi Chitt, and Tayr Debba.
The resistance leader unveiled that despite all ‘Israeli’ attempts to block Hezbollah’s weapons transfers, the resistance group started transforming its missiles into precision-guided ones, in addition to manufacturing drones that are also “available for those who want to purchase,” according to the resistance leader.
The Hezbollah leader also advised the ‘Israelis’ to leave the land of Palestine, offering them to pay for their tickets to return to where they came from.
At the beginning of his speech, Sayyed Nasrallah congratulated all Muslims and lovers of Imam Ali [AS] on his birth anniversary.
Resolution 1982 and the Birth of Resistance
His Eminence then started to explain the motto of the occasion: Resolution 1982, which when summing the years that have passed on the martyrdoms of Sheikh Ragheb Harb, Sayyed Abbas al-Moussawi, and Hajj Imad Mughniyeh, 38, 30, and 14 years respectively, equal 82 years. 1982 is also the same year Hezbollah started its action as a resistance movement. “It was the year of deciding the birth and the launching of Hezbollah, and the progress that is lasting until this day. The blood of our martyrs has blessed this path and granted it all what it has today,” Sayyed Nasrallah underscored.
The Hezbollah leader further referred to resistance as an ideology, culture, and civilization in the region that existed before the 1982 invasion. “There had previously been Lebanese factions and parties that believed in resistance, among them was Sayyed Abdul Hussein Sharafeddine and Sayyed Musa Sadr.”
What was significant about the 1982 invasion, Sayyed Nasrallah went on to say, is that it represented the biggest threat and challenge to Lebanon and its people, and the entire region. “Lebanon was facing the danger of sovereignty, belonging to ‘Israel’, and the change of its identity, yet the Resistance was the side that preserved Lebanon’s identity with blood and jihad [fighting]; and will keep doing so.”
In terms of official dates, Sayyed Nasrallah noted that the Islamic Resistance was born in 1982 to cooperate with the truly sovereign people to preserve Lebanon’s identity.
His Eminence then highlighted the roles of martyred leaders in this path respectively, “Sheikh Ragheb Harb’s rejection of shaking hands with the ‘Israeli’ and recognizing it was a banner for our launching. Then martyr leader Sayyed Abbas al-Moussawi became the “combatant Sayyed” after the 1982 invasion. The foundation of the resistance began with Sayyed Abbas al-Moussawi and turned to a growing, strong, and organized entity whose Sayyed Abbas was its constant. Then, martyr leader Hajj Imad Mughniyeh was the act of resistance, its battlefield, its victory, he was the changer the equations, and the smasher of the enemy.”
“With martyr leader Hajj Imad Mughniyeh, Hezbollah witnessed the smart, innovative, military, and security, as well as the qualitative and quantitative development of the resistance, which contributed to achieving victories,” Sayyed Nasrallah went on to say.
Reiterating that the Resistance follows the footsteps of the martyr leaders to face the enemy’s greed, Sayyed Nasrallah praised it as a defender of Lebanon and a supporter of Palestine. “The Resistance will keep its pledge despite all conspiracies and lobbying.”
The ‘Israeli’ Annihilation
Elsewhere in his speech, Hezbollah’s secretary general underscored the resistance movements firm believe in the annihilation of the ‘Israeli’ occupation regime, stating that although some in Lebanon and the region think that the future belongs to ‘Israel’, and that’s why they normalize ties with it; however, the resistance movements in the region, including Hezbollah, believe that this occupying entity is temporary and declining.
“The descending curve of the occupation has started since 1985 when the Resistance forced ‘Israel’ to withdraw to the so-called “security belt”. The curve of the occupation declined thanks to the achievements of the Resistance and its victories in Palestine and Lebanon,” Sayyed Nasrallah emphasized, citing senior ‘Israeli’ analysts and leaders who admit that ‘Israel’ is declining and its elimination is a matter of time.
“We are in front of an entity which is in crisis, declining, and so is its army. The ‘Israelis’ themselves emphasized that ‘Israel’ is in front of three threats, one of which is its social crisis,” His Eminence also said.
Sayyed Nasrallah further explained that Hezbollah is concerned with following the enemy’s entity on a daily basis; “this entity won’t survive since it is artificial and its fate is related to the fate of its army.”
Back to the countries that normalize ties with the ‘Israeli’ regime and sends it its cash, Sayyed Nasrallah referred to them as serving this entity and attempting to bring it to life again, while the desire of the ‘Israelis’ themselves in joining the fight is declining and so is the trust in the Zionist army.
The Hezbollah leader urged ‘Israeli’ settlers to leave the Palestinian lands and voiced Hezbollah’s readiness to pay the expenses of their tickets to return to where they belong.
Lashing out at those normalizing ties with the ‘Israeli’ regime, Sayyed Nasrallah explained that they were requested to do so to help the occupation entity solve its crises.
Meanwhile, his eminence urged the Palestinian people to remain steadfast as the horizon for their liberation, which is represented by the resistance, is their sole way.
‘Israel’ always Deterred
Highlighting the the ‘Israeli’ enemy is deterred thanks to the resistance and the equation of its strength in face of the enemy’s weakness, Sayyed Nasrallah vowed that the resistance will continue building up its power and monitoring the enemy regardless of all the campaigns launched against it.
“All campaigns against the resistance “are nonsense” and our resistance is in continuous confrontation with the enemy. The enemy is attempting to carry out “a battle between the wars” to deal the resistance a blow as it does in Syria. The enemy, through its attacks on Syria, attempts to prevent Hezbollah from receiving the qualitative weapons,” Sayyed Nasrallah said, mocking the enemy’s attempts which made Hezbollah turn the threat into an opportunity.
Thanks to this challenge, Sayyed Nasrallah unveiled that Hezbollah has obtained the capability of transforming the thousands of missiles it has into precision-guided missiles.
“Since years Hezbollah has been transforming its missiles into precision-guided missiles,” Sayyed Nasrallah uncovered, then addressed the ‘Israeli’ who is searching for them by saying: “Search as much as you want and we are waiting for you!”
Sayyed Nasrallah further cautioned the enemy that when it dares to carry out an offensive to search for Hezbollah’s missiles, we might be facing a second “Ansariya Operation”.
The resistance leader further announced that Hezbollah also started in the past years to manufacture drones, telling those who want to purchase some that “They are welcome!”
Sayyed Nasrallah then praised the youths in the resistance who can keep themselves updated with all the advancements: “Hezbollah is ready for every new development in its military industry.”
His Eminence also explained that the occupation regime is recruiting agents in Lebanon to compensate for the absence of its drones in our airspace, then reiterated that the capabilities and the structure of the resistance is in continuous development and the past Summer was one of Hezbollah’s biggest training seasons.
Lebanese Parliamentary Elections
The Hezbollah leader said it time and again that the resistance group supports holding the Lebanese parliamentary elections on time, and criticized those who are accusing Hezbollah of delaying the elections, telling them that they seem to be the ones who really want this delay.
“Hezbollah supports holding the parliamentary elections on time, and considers those election very critical,” Sayyed Nasrallah said as he announced Hezbollah’s official slogan for the parliamentary race as: “We’ll Continue Defending and Building [our country].”
The Hezbollah leader laid emphasis on the pledge to remain defending the nation and building it. “We will keep defending and building our country through the golden equation of Army, People, and Resistance, and we insist on the Lebanese Army’s role.”
People that Protect the Resistance
Sayyed Nasrallah greeted the people of resistance who have always been backing it in face of the all the attacks and attempts to lobby against Hezbollah.
“Hadn’t the resistance relied on an embracing environment, it won’t be able to defend those people, their dignity, present, and future,” His Eminence said, adding that “After failing in their wars, they are attempting to target the people embracing the resistance.”
Additionally, Sayyed Nasrallah explained that the foes “attempt to lobby against the resistance by economic hardships and luring people to abandon the resistance, yet the paid campaigns will fail since the logic of resistance is stronger and more credible.”
Lebanon to Remain a Nation of Freedoms!
Elsewhere in his speech, Sayyed Nasrallah blasted the the targeted harassment against some Shia opposition groups from different Arab nations and the selective attempts to ban them from holding conferences and events in Lebanon.
His Eminence affirmed that Hezbollah preserves Lebanon’s identity that is provided by the country’s Constitution, atop of which is the freedom of press and expression.
Lashing out at some in Lebanon who ban the freedom of press and expression, Sayyed Nasrallah criticized their selective ban as well as forbidding and violating what they want.
“In the nation of freedoms, the oppressed Bahraini people have the right to commemorate the anniversary of their revolution. In the nation of freedoms, the Yemeni people have the right to speak up for their martyred children and the injustice they are subjected to!” Sayyed Nasrallah made it clear.
The resistance leader further explained that as Hezbollah preserves the identity of Lebanon as a nation of freedoms, its missiles preserve life in it as well as its borders.
His Eminence then questioned the achievements of those who are attacking the resistance in Lebanon: “What have you done for Lebanon? What have you done with the money you received [as donations]? Where are the $30 billion Mohammad Bin Salman and the US said they have offered to Lebanon?”
Closing his speech, Sayyed Nasrallah addressed the people of resistance, assuring them that “Hezbollah will keep preserving the will [of Sayyed Abbas al-Moussawi], we defend and build [the nation], we make achievements, and we emerge victorious…”

A legacy of three leaders to cherish
In a speech on the anniversary of the Hezbollah’s martyred leaders, Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that “the 1982 invasion constituted an unprecedented danger to Lebanon aimed at confiscating its sovereignty and changing its identity,” noting that the Resistance “is the entity that preserved the Lebanese identity by means of the spilled blood and the course of jihad, and it will continue to do so.”
He added that “the Islamic Resistance was established in 1982 to cooperate with real sovereign entities in the country to preserve its identity,” stressing that the martyred leader Sheikh Ragheb Harb, by refusing to shake hands with the Israeli occupation and recognize it, was the beacon that sparked the launch of our movement.
Sayyed Nasrallah then moved to martyred leader Sayyed Abbass Al-Moussawi and said that he turned from a religious personality into a freedom fighter with the onset of the 1982 invasion. Then the course continued, he said, and was crowned by the leader Imad Moghnieh who manifested the resistance’s action on the ground and its victory, whereby it changed the status quo and crushed the enemy.
The Secretary-General of Hezbollah stressed that the Resistance “is following in the footsteps of its martyred leaders against the ambitions of the enemy for the sake of protecting Lebanon and supporting Palestine,” stressing that “the Resistance shall maintain its vows despite all the conspiracies and pressures.”
He added, “There are those in Lebanon and the region who think that the future is linked to Israel and that is why they rush to normalize ties with it,” but they should know that all “the resistance movements in the region, including Hezbollah, believe that this entity is but temporary and is in decline.”
Sayed Nasrallah: The Israeli occupation entity is in decline
Sayyed Nasrallah pointed out that the Israeli occupation has been on a downward path since 1985 when the Resistance forced it to withdraw to the ‘security belt’ and stressed that the occupation has been forced into this situation thanks to the Resistance’s achievements and victories in Palestine and Lebanon.
He pointed out that “the enemy’s top leaders and analysts confirm that indeed Israel is in a state of decline, and its end is just a matter of time,” adding, “We are facing a distressed entity and army heading downward sharply.”
Sayyed Nasrallah added that the Israelis themselves affirmed that they are facing three threats, including a “social crisis and the disintegration of its [social] fabric.” He considered that the normalizing countries are only serving the Israeli project by providing “Israel” with money in an attempt to resuscitate it.
He also stressed that the Israelis no longer have the desire to fight and their confidence in their army has declined, but their desire to leave has increased.
“We encourage the Israelis to leave Palestine and we are ready to bear the costs of their trip,” Sayyed Nasrallah said.
The Secretary-General of Hezbollah pointed out that some Arab countries were asked to normalize ties with “Israel” in order to help the occupation entity get out of its crises, noting that the Palestinian people are “expected to be steadfast, because liberation lies in the horizon, and the Resistance is the only way to pursue in that path.”
Sayyed Nasrallah: We started manufacturing drones in Lebanon years ago
Nasrallah considered that the enemy has become impotent by the Resistance thanks to its power and the weakness of the enemy itself, stressing that “the Resistance continues to build its strength and keeps pace with the enemy, regardless of all the ravaging campaigns against it.”
He clarified that all campaigns against the Resistance are but “scattered dust” and “our Resistance is in a continuous confrontation with the enemy,” adding that “the enemy is trying to win a battle among a series of failed wars to target the Resistance, just as it does in Syria.”
Nasrallah pointed out that “the enemy is trying, through its attacks in Syria, to prevent the Resistance’s qualitative weapons from reaching Lebanon,” but they should know that despite all their attempts “the Resistance has acquired the ability to convert thousands of missiles into precision-strike missiles.”
He addressed the Israeli enemy, saying, “We have been converting our missiles into precision missiles for years.”
The Secretary-General of Hezbollah warned the Israeli occupation that if it dares to launch an operation of any kind in search of the Resistance’s missiles, they will be faced with an operation similar to the “Ansari Operation”.
“We began manufacturing drones in Lebanon, years ago… whoever wants to buy, we are more than ready to sell,” Hezbollah Secretary-general said.
Nasrallah also stressed that “our youth have the ability to keep up with all developments, and we are ready for any developments in our military industry,” noting that “the Resistance decided to activate its air defense system, which has been in place for years, to face the danger of Israeli drones.”
He said, “The Israeli occupation is employing collaborators in Lebanon to compensate for the absence of its drones from our country’s airspace,” stressing that “the Resistance’s capabilities and structure are in a state of continuous development” and pointing out that last summer marked a prominent and major season of military exercises and training.
Regarding the upcoming parliamentary elections in Lebanon, Sayyed Nasrallah said, “Whoever is accusing us of delaying the parliamentary elections in Lebanon seems to be the one who wants this delay,” adding that Hezbollah supports holding the parliamentary elections on time and calling the elections as “fateful”.
In this context, he revealed that Hezbollah’s electoral slogan for the upcoming elections is: “We shall forever protect and build,” addressing those who always try to stand in their way of protection and building, saying, “We shall forever protect and build armed with the golden three; ‘The People, the Army, and the Resistance.'”
Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that the Lebanese Army is the basic guarantee for the country’s security, unity, and protection from all dangers.
He considered that the milieu that embraces and upholds the Resistance is a core element in its achievements and missions, and it is an essential part of the golden three, stressing that this milieu is a “strong element and a key factor in making victories, and that is why it is always targeted.”
The Secretary-General of Hezbollah added that having failed in the wars they waged, now they are trying to target the environment that fosters the Resistance in order to incite people against it and eventually abandon it. He stressed that all the campaigns of those fomenting sedition and offering financial support for a systematic campaign of insults and attacks on the Resistance will fail because the logic of the resistance is stronger and more credible.
Sayyed Nasrallah continued, “They are still trying to coerce the Resistance through economic pressures and offering temptations in exchange for abandoning it.”
Sayyed Nasrallah: We are the entity that protected Lebanon’s identity and sovereignty
The Secretary-General of Hezbollah indicated that certain individuals attempt to prevent freedom of expression in Lebanon, so they prevent and allow expression as per their whims.
He stressed that “in Lebanon, the country of freedom… the oppressed Bahraini people have the right to commemorate the memory of their revolution.”
Nasrallah also considered that “the Yemeni people have the right to speak up about their martyred children and the injustice they are afflicted with,” stressing that “we are the entity that protects Lebanon’s identity and sovereignty, and our missiles are the weapons that protect the people’s living in it and its borders.”
He addressed those who continuously attack the Resistance in Lebanon, asking “What have you accomplished for the country, and what have you done with all the money you received? Where are the $30 billion that Bin Salman and America said they offered to Lebanon?”
Nasrallah ended his speech with a reassuring message to the supporters of the Resistance:
“We will keep moving forward, and we are staying… we shall preserve the legacy (of the martyr leaders)… we will protect and build… we will accomplish and come out victorious.”
كم نحن محظوظون الذين قيّض لنا أن نعرفه عن قرب باسمه عماد مغنية، وأن ترتبط في ذاكرتنا محطات تاريخية عظيمة مليئة بالإنجازات بحضوره، وأن نشعر بدفء هذا الحضور دائماً، فلم نشعر يوماً أننا نحتاجه او ان الظرف يحتاجه إلا وكان حاضراً، وهو منذ البدايات قائد، فرغم أنني أكبر منه سناً، وفي البدايات أوسع منه حيلة وخبرة وقدرة، ورغم أنه بقي حتى الرحيل يعاملني بتواضع الكبار، أكتشف كلما راجعت دفاتر الذاكرة وقلبت صفحاتها، كيف أنه كان يضعني ضمن خطته و»يشغّلني» من حيث لا أشعر إلا بالفخر، فقد كان منذ التقينا مجدداً خلال الاجتياح الإسرائيلي لبيروت عام 1982، وتشاركنا القتال على موقع كنيسة مار مخايل وثغرة سينما لبنان في الشياح، اسمه الحاج فقط، وكانت مراسلاته تأتيني عبر شبكة قام هو بترتيبها، ومن ضمنها اختار مقربين بيننا، وصارت تأتيني المراسلات، الحاج يريد والحاج يعتقد والحاج يقترح، والغريب أنني اكتشف اليوم أن كل طلباته عاملتها يومها كأوامر، وفي كثير من الأحيان لم أسأل عن الغرض أو الخطة، وكنت أكتفي بالتلبية والتنفيذ في الجزء الذي يخصني، ونحن ليس بيننا من رابط تنظيمي، بل إن الذين كنت أقوم بدوري بتشغيلهم لتلبية طلبات الحاج يعرفون أن هناك قائداً مجهولاً يُعرف بالحاج يقول ويطلب ويريد، وهم مثلي وبعضهم قادة كبار يلبون وينفذون ولا يسألون، ثم اكتشف لاحقاً أن شبكات من التشغيل المشابهة كان ينظمها ويديرها العماد، بقوة هذا السحر الغامض وهذا الحضور الاستثنائيّ، ونكتشف ان السبب هو انه كان الأخلص والأصدق لفلسطين. كنا نعرف ذلك، ونثق بذلك، ونخجل من أنفسنا إن لم نُشعره بأننا حاضرون.

في مراحل لاحقة، كانت المقاومة قد صارت مؤسسة قويّة قادرة حاضرة ولاعباً محورياً في الإقليم، صار عماد عيناً ساهرة وأخاً كبيراً، رغم أنه الأصغر سناً بين كل من تربطه بهم صلة من هذا الماضي وتلك الذكريات؛ فكان يرعى ويهتم ويصون ويسأل ويتفقد عن بعد دائماً وعن كثب كلما سنحت له الظروف ليسرق بعضاً من وقت الراحة ليرتب موعداً او يداهم مناسبة أو يوصل رسالة.. وكلمة السر هي ذاتها، الحاج، فكما نقول السيد اليوم وليس هناك في بالنا وبال مَن يستمع الا السيد نصرالله، وكل سيد آخر يجب ذكر اسمه للتعرف إليه، حتى لو كان من الرجالات العظام والكبار، كنا عندما نقول الحاج لا ننتبه أننا نتصرف كأنه بين مئات ملايين الحجاج ليس بيننا الا الحاج عماد، وكل حاج آخر يجب ذكر اسمه بعد كلمة الحاج للتعريف ولو كان من ذوي الشأن والمكانة. وكانت كل رواية مذيّلة بكلمة قال الحاج، كما كل طلب مذيّل بـ «يريد الحاج»، لا تحتاجان التدقيق ولا تحتملان التردّد، بين جمع من الفاعلين والناشطين والسياسيين والقادة، يعرفهم ويعرفونه، وله معهم خلافات كثيرة وله على بعضهم مآخذ كثيرة، لكن مع حبّ كبير، وأمل كثير، وهم لا يخذلونه، لعله يحقق ما أخفقوا في تحقيقه، أو يكون استثمارهم السريّ في مستقبل لم يعد على جدول أعمالهم، أو ككفارة عن ذنب التموضع في لعبة الواجهة ومغرياتها بالمكاسب والمناصب، ولم يتغيّر الأمر عند الذين عرفوه لاحقاً باسم الحاج رضوان، فكانت كلمة الحاج وحدها كافية للتعريف.

لم يعرفني كفاعل في الإعلام، وأصل معرفتنا ساحات النضال أولاً، ومن ثم ساحات القتال من بنت جبيل في مواجهة الاجتياح الثاني عام 1978 الى الاجتياح الثالث عام 1982، لكنه كان فرحاً بانطلاق إذاعة صوت المقاومة عام 1985 وجريدة الحقيقة ولاحقاً تلفزيون المشرق عام 1988، وكان يدأب على زيارتنا كلما سنحت له الظروف، والسؤال عما يمكن فعله للمساعدة في خطط التطوير، وعندما التقينا عام 2007 بعد حرب تموز، توقف كثيراً في ختام اللقاء أمام الملف الإعلامي يسأل ويحاور، وكان على دراية عالية ودقيقة بتفاصيل المشهد وتقنياته ومشاكله، وعلى معرفة بحجم أهمية الحرب على العقول والقلوب، وعلى أهمية تعدّد منابر خوضها، وكان يقدّر كثيراً دور الشخصيات التي شاركت إعلامياً في الدفاع عن المقاومة خلال الحرب، ويذكرها بالأسماء، مؤمناً بتكامل الحق والحقيقة، والحاجة لمساحات من الحرية والإبداع والجاذبية، بشرط واحد هو عدم الوقوع في الابتذال والإسفاف والغرائزية، وكانت خطته التي قطع سياقها استشهاده رعاية نهضة إعلاميّة من نوع آخر.

قوله إن ما يقاتل فينا هو الروح كان يختصر مكانته في المقاومة، التي كانت روحها هي التي تقاتل، والحاج عماد هو هذه الروح، ولذلك لا يموت.
