Al-Qassam’s spokesperson reveals that the Resistance has so far destroyed 136 Israeli military vehicles in Gaza since the start of the ground invasion.

The spokesperson for Hamas’ al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida, announced that the Resistance has completely or partially destroyed 136 Israeli military vehicles in Gaza since the start of the ground invasion.

In a televised statement on Wednesday, Abu Obeida confirmed that the occupation forces have suffered significant casualties during confrontations with the Resistance fighters across Gaza axes.

Emphasizing the significant achievements of the Resistance and underscoring the failures of the Israeli entity, the spokesperson pointed out that the military equipment and capabilities utilized by the Israeli army during its ground invasion are typically employed for invading entire countries equipped with state-level military capabilities and systems.

Additionally, Abu Obeida underscored that all the Resistance’s achievements came in the face of an army that claims to be “the strongest in the region” and that possesses “massive amounts of armored vehicles and elite forces supported by land, sea, and air.”

Meanwhile, the Resistance is inflicting heavy losses on the Israeli army despite having “no tanks, no aircraft, no armored vehicles, not even a mountain, hill, or difficult terrain” to fight within.

Right after Abu Obeida’s speech, Al-Qassam released footage documenting losses incurred by the Israeli army in Gaza in a number of operations carried out by the Resistance fighters.

When announcing an upcoming video before its release, Abu Obeida said it documents “a glimpse of the greatness of our fighters and their combat against the enemy entrenched in buildings; hunting down their tanks and destroying them.” He reiterated that this was just a fraction of what “our fighters are doing and will continue to do.”

The spokesperson also revealed that the Resistance is still conducting operations behind enemy lines, including the encirclement of Israeli forces and striking them from behind, as well as setting successful ambushes for invading forces.

New phase of anger

In his speech, Abu Obeida reiterated that the only way captives would be released is through an exchange deal, comprehensive or partial.

Expanding more on the proposal for a partial exchange, he said a deal could be in the form of “women for women, the sick for the sick, and Israeli soldiers for Palestinian Resistance fighters.”

Additionally, Abu Obeida recalled that the occupation had recently obstructed the release of 12 captives held by the Resistance in Gaza, noting that this “stubbornness puts the lives of foreign captives and their families at risk as the bombardment continues.”

Commenting on the performance of the Resistance fighters on the ground, the spokesperson praised the bravery and unprecedented courage of the fighters “33 days into Operation Al-Aqsa Flood,” emphasizing that the Resistance continues to fight the Israeli aggression on all fronts, while the invading forces continue to avoid full confrontation.

Concluding the televised statement, Abu Obeida declared a new phase in the battle, warning the Israeli occupation entity of a “new phase of wrath [to be unleashed on the Israeli forces]” and called on Palestinians and fighters across all occupied Palestine to mobilize and “crush the Zionist project.”
