US Commission: Saudi Arabia Is Top Violator of Religious Freedom

The US State Department designated Saudi Arabia as one of the world’s “worst violators” of religious freedoms, even as Riyadh remains one of Washington’s top allies in the region.

The US Commission on International Religious Freedom [USCIRF] released its 2019 report on Monday listing Saudi Arabia in the tier one category of countries that implement severe violations of religious freedom.

The annual report, released by the bipartisan organization created two decades ago, highlights the discrimination that Shia Muslims and Christians face in the country.

“Shia Muslims in Saudi Arabia continue to face discrimination in education, employment, and the judiciary, and lack access to senior positions in the government and military,” the 234-page report said.

“As a matter of law, the Saudi government bans the public practice of non-Muslim faiths by citizens and expatriates alike. While the Saudi government has stated repeatedly that non-Muslims who are not converts from Islam may practice their religion in private, this policy has not been codified,” the reported added.

Last week, Saudi Arabia executed 37 people on ‘terrorism’ charges.

Thirty-two of those executed were from Saudi Arabia’s Shia minority and a number of them were juveniles when they were arrested, including a teenager who had planned to study in the US.

The US placed Saudi Arabia as one of the world’s top “countries of particular concern” or CPCs in November 2018.

However, Johnnie Moore, USCIRF’s commissioner who wrote the profile on Saudi Arabia, said promoting “punitive measures” against the kingdom would be counterproductive.

“Such punitive measures could likely have the effect of forcing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to engage directly and more seriously with countries where religious freedom is not a consideration at all in their foreign policy priorities,” he said.

The State Department recommends granting Saudi Arabia a special waiver because the country is an “important interest to the United States”, the report said.

Saudi Arabia and the US share a deep alliance. The US purchases Saudi oil while the kingdom has ordered billions of dollars of arms from the United States.

Saudi Arabia was the first overseas country visited by US President Donald Trump after he became president in 2017, and his visit to Riyadh came just weeks before Saudi Arabia, the UAE and their allies initiated a blockade of Qatar.

Trump has continued to stress the importance of the US alliance with Saudi Arabia even after the death of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, which prompted near global condemnation.

Senate Confirms Dangerous Christian Extremist as CIA Director

The new head of the CIA is a dangerous Christian extremist who believes the U.S. is at war with Islam.

Earlier today, the U.S. Senate confirmed Representative Mike Pompeo as the new head of the powerful Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

Pompeo, a Kansas Republican and prominent member of the House Intelligence Committee, is a radical Christian extremist and a sharp critic of Islam who endorses the notion of a “Holy War” between Christians and Muslims, and believes the fight against terrorism is a war between Islam and Christianity.

Speaking at a church group in Wichita, Kansas, in 2014, Pompeo claimed that Christianity was the “only solution” to combat terrorism, arguing that the greatest “threat to America” is caused by “people who deeply believe that Islam is the way.”

Pompeo told the church-goers:

This threat to America is from people who deeply believe that Islam is the way and the light and the only answer.

These folks believe that it is religiously driven for them to wipe Christians from the face of the earth.

Pompeo continued:

They abhor Christians, and will continue to press against us until we make sure that we pray and stand and fight and make sure that we know that Jesus Christ our savior is truly the only solution for our world.

In addition, at an event hosted by a Virginia-based think tank last year, Pompeo again invoked the notion of a Holy War, describing the wars in which the U.S. is involved in as being “between the Christian West and the Islamic East.”

Cosmopolitan reports that Pompeo’s past comments concerning Muslims have drawn sharp criticism. For example, in the months after the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013, Pompeo took to the House floor to call on Muslim leaders to denounce acts of terrorism committed in the name of Islam, declaring:

It’s been just under two months since the attacks in Boston, and in those intervening weeks, the silence of Muslim leaders has been deafening.

Pompeo went on to suggest that failing to condemn the terrorist attacks made Muslim leaders “potentially complicit” in those attacks.

In another anti-Muslim incident earlier this year, Pompeo, using veiled threats and intimidation tactics, forced a mosque located in Kansas to cancel an appearance by a prominent Muslim leader, in part because the speaker was scheduled to appear on the Christian holy day of Good Friday.

Writing for Slate, Michelle Goldberg notes:

Amid the fire hose of lunacy that is the Trump transition, however, Pompeo’s extremism has been overlooked. It’s worth pausing to appreciate the fact that America’s CIA will shortly be run by a man who appears to view American foreign policy as a vehicle for holy war.

The Washington Post reports Pompeo “is known as one of the more fanatical purveyors of conspiracy theories.” For example, previously Pompeo suggested President Obama might have an “affinity for” radical Islam.

Bottom line: Pompeo is a dangerous Christian extremist. His Holy War mentality is alarming, and completely inappropriate for the Director of the CIA.

Nigel Farage will go to Washington DC in December to meet Donald Trump’s aides and is reportedly considering a permanent move to the US.

The interim leader of the UK Independence Party will travel with party donor Arron Banks and his adviser Andy Wigmore to meet the transition team preparing for Trump’s move to the White House with whom Farage is said to be in “constant contact”, the Telegraph reported

It will be seen as a move to undermine the UK Prime Minister Theresa May who is yet to meet the president-elect

Farage was the first UK politician to visit Trump after his election victory and the President-elect said on Twitter that “many people” would like to see Mr Farage as UK ambassador to the US and said he would do a “great job”.

Jacob Rees-Mogg, the pro-Brexit Tory MP, said he was not sure Farage should take the post, despite his good relationship with Trump, saying: “Mr Farage is certainly extraordinary in his own way but I think that being plenipotentiary as well may be a bit too much,” The Telegraph reported.

Meanwhile the Times reported that Farage, who will stand down as UKIP leader on Monday, has told friends he is getting ready to emigrate to the US with his wife Kirsten.

The paper said friends report how he is concerned about life in Britain. He has not appeared in public with his family for more than 18 months after anti-Ukip protesters chased his wife and daughters out of a pub in Kent and that he would feel “freer” from public attention living abroad.

Farage attended a Brexit celebration on Wednesday evening (23 November) at the Ritz hotel in central London.

At the event, Farage described how in the US “the revolution is total” but in the UK, “the people have spoken, but the same players have just been shuffled around the chess board and we are still being run by the career professional political class”.

In a light-hearted gesture, the Ukip leader was presented with a platter of Ferrero Rocher, the chocolates associated with diplomatic parties.

The FBI, Not “ISIS,” Radicalized the Orlando Shooter

June 20, 2016 (Tony Cartalucci – LD) – As predicted, the FBI is revealed to have approached Orlando shooting suspect Omar Mateen in 2013 with informants posing as terrorists in an attempt to “lure” him into participating in a terrorist attack.

Image: As scary as any cartoon villain – and ironically – quite literally a manufactured villain. Marcus Robertson is not only a former US Marine, but also a long-time CIA and FBI asset. He runs an extremist website on American soil with absolute impunity and is likely one component of the FBI’s counterterror entrapment pipeline.

USA Today’s TC Palm reports in an article titled, “Exclusive: PGA Village residents want answers from security firm,” that (emphasis added):

The FBI launched an investigation into Mateen after Sheriff’s Office officials reported the incident to the agency. As part of its investigation, the FBI examined Mateen’s travel history, phone records, acquaintances and even planted a confidential informant in the courthouse to “lure Omar into some kind of act and Omar did not bite,” Mascara said. The FBI concluded Mateen was not a threat after that, Mascara said.

This is in line with the FBI’s practice of approaching and entrapping potential terror suspects by posing as terrorists themselves and aiding and abetting them in the planning and preparations for high-profile attacks. These undercover operations include everything from “casing out” potential targets, to the obtaining and training with actual, live explosives, to the purchasing of small arsenals of firearms including the sort of semi-automatic rifles and pistols used by Mateen during the Orlando shooting.

 

In addition to the FBI’s undercover operation, it is now also revealed that Mateen frequented the website of another FBI/CIA informant, Marcus Dwayne Roberson, a former US Marine, turned bank robber, turned US government informant.
While US politicians, law enforcement officials, and media networks attempt to claim Robertson’s extremist website, the “Timbuktu Seminary,” was his own independent project, the extent of his association with the US government makes this difficult, if not impossible to believe. Instead, it appears to be the perfect mechanism to feed the FBI’s entrapment pipeline, attracting and identifying possible suspects for the FBI to then approach and “investigate.”

The National Review’s article, “The Orlando Jihadist and the Blind Sheikh’s Bodyguard,” would report (emphasis added):

According to Fox News, Omar Mateen, the jihadist who carried out the mass-murder attack at a gay nightclub in Florida this weekend, was a student of Marcus Robertson, an Orlando-based radical Muslim who once served as a bodyguard to Omar Abdel Rahman — the notorious “Blind Sheikh” whom I prosecuted for terrorism crimes in the early to mid 1990s. 

The National Review also reported that (emphasis added):

In Robertson’s case, it is reported that he agreed to work for the government, gathering intelligence both overseas and in the United States. According to Fox, however, he was expelled from the covert informant program in early 2007 after attacking his CIA handler in Africa.

But Robertson’s stint with the CIA was not the only time he would work for the US government after his service in the US Marine Corps. The National Review leaves out the fact that before his dismissal from the CIA, he was an informant for the FBI between 2004 and 2007.

The Daily Beast in its article, “Was Orlando Shooter Omar Mateen Inspired by This Bank-Robbing Ex-Marine?,” would report (emphasis added):

“Plaintiff worked as a covert operator for the FBI Terrorist Task Force from 2004 until 2007, performing operations in the United Sates and internationally with and against suspected and known terrorist organizations,” Robertson says in court papers. 

Robertson remained in touch with American law enforcement and intelligence officials when he moved back to the United States, according to court papers filed by his attorney, “served as a confidential source in domestic terrorism investigations from Atlanta to Los Angeles.”

Is the American public expected to believe that a US government asset who received special training in the military and served as an informant and operative for both the FBI and the CIA would somehow, suddenly be allowed to drop off the US government’s radar and be allowed to run an extremist websitein the United States?

The FBI’s own affidavit reveals that is precisely what FBI informants did while investigating Portland, Oregon terror suspect Mohamed Osman Mohamud. Did the FBI’s attempts to lure the Orlando shooter, Omar Mateen, into committing a terror attack contribute in his radicalization? The FBI must answer to this.

Indeed, no American should believe this. Robertson was step one in Omar Mateen – the Orlando shooter’s – radicalization. The FBI’s attempt to pose as terrorists to lure Mateen into going along with a terrorist attack was step two. Though the FBI has so far failed to disclose the details of that investigation, comments made by FBI Director James Comey himself indicate that FBI informants may have worked on Mateen for up to 10 months.

Between exposure to Robertson’s extremist propaganda, honed after years of working as an informant and operative identifying and exposing terror suspects, and the FBI’s own informants over the course of months, if not years, it is clear that the US government and its “counterterrorism” measures radicalized Mateen – not “ISIS.”

The Guardian in its article, “CIA has not found any link between Orlando killer and Isis, says agency chief,” further highlights this blatant truth by reporting (emphasis added):

The Central Intelligence Agency chief has not been “able to uncover any link” between Orlando killer Omar Mateen and the Islamic State, despite Mateen’s stated allegiance to the jihadist group during Sunday’s LGBT nightclub massacre.

If Omar Mateen was a “homegrown terrorist,” the FBI served as the gardeners.

The American public must now demand the details of the FBI’s undercover work regarding Omar Mateen, as well as the truth behind any enduring ties between Robertson and the US government. If Robertson has no connections with the US government, an explanation as to why he is allowed to operate an extremist website on American soil must be provided.

For political and ideological opportunists attempting to seize upon the Orlando tragedy to uphold an example of “Islamic extremism,” it is especially ironic that the facts indicate that the act of terrorism was entirely divorced from “Islam,” and instead the result of America’s ongoing view of terrorism as a convenient and versatile geopolitical tool, rather than a threat to genuinely combat.

That quite literally every aspect that contributed to Omar Mateen’s radicalization is directly connected to the US government itself, illustrates just who the real threat is that American’s should fear – the threat within the halls of its own government – not “terrorists” dwelling beyond them.

FBI Entrapment Fuels Terror, Not Stops It

June 17, 2016 (Tony Cartalucci – LD) – After a torrent of multifaceted politically-motivated assumptions about the Orlando shooting which claimed the lives of 50 and left scores more injured, the extent to which the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) interacted with the suspect, Omar Mateen, before the attacks was partially revealed.

In a press conference, FBI Director James Comey would admit (emphasis added):

…the FBI’s Miami office opened a preliminary investigation, and over the next 10 months we attempted to determine whether he was possibly a terrorist. Something we do in hundreds and hundreds of cases all across the country. 

Our investigation involved introducing confidential sources to him, recording conversations with him, following him, reviewing transactional records from his communications, and searching all government holdings for any possible connections, any possible derogatory information. We then interviewed him twice. He admitted making the statements that his co-workers reported, but explained that he did it in anger because he thought his co-workers were discriminating against him and teasing him because he was Muslim.

FBI Director Comey never elaborated on just how those informants interacted with Mateen. However, examining publicly available FBI affidavits from other investigations that resulted in arrests and prosecutions, it is almost certain the informants posed as terrorists with ties to Al Qaeda or the self-proclaimed “Islamic State” (ISIS).

In two cases that unfolded just last years, FBI informants would be revealed to have helped plan attacks with suspects, suggest to suspects that they credit ISIS for the attacks (as reported by the Intercept), and even helped them in procuring weapons and explosives before finally arresting them.

The results of such investigations are often high-profile counterterrorism news stories portraying the investigations as having stopped real attacks. Headlines like the Washington Post’s “Mass. man accused of plotting to hit Pentagon and Capitol with drone aircraft,” or the FBI’s own press release, “Oregon Resident Convicted in Plot to Bomb Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony,” betray the fact the virtually every aspect of these supposed plots from A-Z were scripted by the FBI’s informants themselves with the suspects often being mentally unstable and technically/financially incapable of carrying out the attacks on their own – as evident in the FBI’s own affidavits.

Protecting America, or Exploiting the Mentally Ill to Fill Quotas and Make Headlines?  

The FBI often opens these cases when suspects with questionable mental health make statements online or to friends, family, or co-workers indicating possible support for terrorist groups or terroristic aspirations. Comments could range from claims of belonging to a terrorist group or expressing a dislike of or a desire to cause harm to certain groups.

Instead of recognizing a potentially dangerous, mentally unstable individual and getting them the help they need, the FBI instead proceeds with a process of entrapping them. They work often for months posing as terrorists, gaining the trust of the suspect, and leading them through elaborate, scripted terror plots.

So elaborate are these undercover investigations, that in at least two cases, FBI informants would actually train suspects how to use real explosives and even practice detonating live explosives in remote areas in the lead up to the final “attack.”

In one such case in 2010, the FBI investigated naturalized US citizen and Oregon resident Mohamed Osman Mohamud. In their own official statement titled, “Oregon Resident Arrested in Plot to Bomb Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Portland,” released by the U.S. Attorney’s Office on November 26, 2010 it was reported (emphasis added):

According to the affidavit, on November 4, 2010, Mohamud and the undercover FBI operatives traveled to a remote location in Lincoln County, Ore., where they detonated a bomb concealed in a backpack as a trial run for the upcoming attack.

In 2012, amid another FBI undercover investigation, USA Today would report in their article, “FBI foils alleged suicide bomb attack on U.S. Capitol,” that (emphasis added):

According to a counterterrorism official, El Khalifi “expressed interest in killing at least 30 people and considered targeting a building in Alexandria and a restaurant, synagogue and a place where military personnel gather in Washington before he settled on the Capitol after canvassing that area a couple of times,” the Associated Press writes. During the year-long investigation, El Khalifi detonated explosives at a quarry in the capital region with undercover operatives. He is not believed to be affiliated with al-Qaeda, officials said.

One can only speculate what – over the course of 10 months – undercover FBI informants said and did with Orlando shooting suspect Omar Mateen and how that may have contributed to his final act of violence years later.

The Public Must Demand Answers From the FBI 

The FBI’s practice of entrapping terror suspects has long been called into question. Until now, the damage caused by the FBI’s methods has been confined to locking away for years suspects who were otherwise incapable of carrying out actual terror attacks and instead required the attention of mental health professionals.

With revelations that the FBI investigated Omar Mateen twice, including two interviews and the use of undercover informants over the course of at least 10 months, it appears that the FBI’s methods may have backfired – and it wouldn’t be for the first time.

The FBI’s role in the bombing was only revealed when an undercover informant who recorded conversations between himself and FBI agents, provided tapes to the New York Times.

It is possible that contact with undercover informants posing as extremists may have radicalized or at the very least, planted the seeds for the violence Mateen would eventually carry out years later. The public, press, and America’s elected representatives must demand answers from the FBI regarding the nature of their investigation including who the FBI’s informants posed as, and what ideas they attempted to lure Mateen into their practiced methods of entrapment with.

Did they suggest or help plan attacks on bars as they did with Alexander Ciccolo whom the FBI entrapped and arrested in 2015 according to the Intercept’s article, “Another “Terror” Arrest; Another Mentally Ill Man, Armed by the FBI?” Did they encourage or compound a possible internal conflict Mateen was struggling with regarding his apparent homosexuality?

So far, the FBI refuses to make the details of their previous investigations public. They must as it constitutes a potentially essential key in ascertaining Mateen’s motives – and the FBI investigating a crime they themselves may have played a criminally negligent role in motivating constitutes a dangerous conflict of interests unacceptable if an impartial and honest investigation is to move forward.

Instead of attempting to hitch our own various personal political causes to this tragedy, make it a priority instead to pursue and demand the truth. The villains we think we fear may pale in comparison to what may have truly sparked this tragedy – and exposing it may be the key to preventing the next tragedy.

If the FBI played a role in radicalizing and provoking Mateen’s violence, and if the FBI is conducting hundreds of such entrapment cases all across America, how many other pending tragedies await the American public?

Dancing in Syria and Dancing in Turky

[ Ed. note – I wonder how long this dance school would remain open should America’s “moderate rebels” succeed in seizing power in Syria. The Syrian people go on exhibiting amazing resilience in the face of attacks upon their country by proxy terrorist armies funded by the usual suspects (we all know who they are), as meanwhile the Western media continue to preach to us that Assad is a brutal dictator who “kills his own people,” etc., etc…. Yes! A brutal, brutal dictator who kills hundreds of thousands of his own people–but who allows dancing schools to remain open! Sounds a bit of an anomaly. But maybe the Daily Beast has an explanation readily available they’d care to share with us.

At any rate, on to some late breaking news. You could maybe call this portion of today’s post the “Dancing in Turkey” section. RT reporter Lizzie Phelan has crossed the border into Turkey and is filing a series of reports this week on ISIS activities, including the digging of trenches, which the Turkish government doesn’t seem overly concerned about stopping. ]

‘Turkey the Only One Supporting us’: Syrian Rebel Siding with Islamists on Ankara’s Role

While civilians who still live on the Turkish-Syrian border suffer from Islamic State attacks and blame Turkish army inaction, so-called moderate rebels of the Free Syrian Army, fighting side-by-side with Islamist extremists, openly admit Ankara’s support.

RT’s Lizzie Phelan visited the Turkish town of Karkamis, located on the border with Syria just opposite the area controlled by Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL). She spoke with locals residents, refugees and militants, who described the role Turkey has allegedly played in fostering and supporting both Syrian rebels and Islamist extremists.

Many Karkamis residents were forced to flee the town and find a home elsewhere because of the danger they faced from ISIS attacks across the border.

Israeli defense minister says ISIS funded with ‘Turkish money’

Turkey’s efforts to increase security, which were largely limited to building a wall that cut off the local cross-border trade, have led to majority of shops being boarded up and abandoned, Lizzie Phelan reported from the town.

Those who stayed include Syrian refugees who managed to escape ISIS jihadists in Syria. However, they do not believe the danger is over, as ISIS shells and bullets reach them even in Turkey’s Karkamis.

Aysel Yilmaz, a refugee from the Syrian town of Jarablus, spoke to RT and described her lucky escape from across the border, adding that she still feels very unsafe. Yilmaz said she was seriously wounded while visiting her father’s grave in Karkamis. The bullet came from ISIS fighters shooting from Syria.

“We were by my father’s grave right over there, they fired shots from the other part and I got hit. There were some people trying to escape from the other side, they were the target but I was also hit,” Yilmaz said. “I was treated in hospital, at first for 15 days, and then again for another 10 days. I had surgery twice, my lung was wounded. I still suffer so much.”

A very contrasting account was given to Phelan by a fighter from the Syrian opposition, who openly admitted receiving help from Turkey and seamlessly crossing into Syria every two weeks. The conversation also gives an insight into how casual the relations of the so-called moderates are with Islamist groups siding with internationally recognized terrorists, but not recognized as terrorists by Turkey or the West.

“Turkey is the only one supporting us. We are very grateful for their help,” the fighter told Phelan.

When asked what groups he is fighting along, the man mentioned“Jabhat Al Shamiye, the Sultan Murad Division, the Sham Legion and Ahrar al-Sham.”

Ahrar al-Sham has been accused of slaughtering civilians around Aleppo earlier in June, while Russia has repeatedly pointed to the groups’ brotherly ties with Al-Nusra Front terrorists.

Turkish journalist and columnist for Al-Monitor Fehim Tastekin told RT that Al-Nusra uses other groups, such as Ahrar al-Sham, as proxies to distribute weapons “coming from Turkey.” Tastekin added that “they also share money in the same way.”

ISIS covers fighters’ hefty bills in Turkish hospitals, leaked phone taps reveal

The RT crew also managed to get footage of passports of deceased and escaped jihadists, who had stamps issued at Turkish border checkpoints, proving that they crossed into Syria through Turkey.

Another report from May showed that Islamic State militants injured on the Syrian battlefield regularly traveled to Turkey to receive costly and complicated medical treatment. The information was leaked via tapped phone calls and was handed to the media by opposition MP Erem Erdem.

Saudi Arabia, an ’ISIS’ That Has Made It

The “ISIS”; Saudi Arabia. In its struggle against terrorism, the West wages war on one, but shakes hands with the other. This is a mechanism of denial, and denial has a price: preserving the famous strategic alliance with Saudi Arabia at the risk of forgetting that the kingdom also relies on an alliance with a religious clergy that produces, legitimizes, spreads, preaches and defends Wahhabism, the ultra-puritanical form of Islam that Daesh feeds on.

 

 

Wahhabism, a messianic radicalism that arose in the 18th century, hopes to restore a fantasized caliphate centered on a desert, a sacred book, and two holy sites, Mecca and Medina. Born in massacre and blood, it manifests itself in a surreal relationship with women, a prohibition against non-Muslims treading on sacred territory, and ferocious religious laws. That translates into an obsessive hatred of imagery and representation and therefore art, but also of the body, nakedness and freedom. Saudi Arabia is a Daesh that has made it.

 

The West’s denial regarding Saudi Arabia is striking: It salutes the theocracy as its ally but pretends not to notice that it is the world’s chief ideological sponsor of Islamist culture. The younger generations of radicals in the so-called Arab world were not born “jihadists”. They were suckled in the bosom of Fatwa Valley, a kind of “Islamist” Vatican with a vast industry that produces theologians, religious laws, books, and aggressive editorial policies and media campaigns.

 

One might counter: Isn’t Saudi Arabia itself a possible target of Daesh? Yes, but to focus on that would be to overlook the strength of the ties between the reigning family and the clergy that accounts for its stability – and also, increasingly, for its precariousness. The Saudi royals are caught in a perfect trap: Weakened by succession laws that encourage turnover, they cling to ancestral ties between king and preacher. The Saudi clergy produces Islamism, which both threatens the country and gives legitimacy to the regime.

One has to live in the Muslim world to understand the immense transformative influence of religious television channels on society by accessing its weak links: households, women, rural areas. “Islamist” culture is widespread in many countries – Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Mali, Mauritania. There are thousands of “Islamist” newspapers and clergies that impose a unitary vision of the world, tradition and clothing on the public space, on the wording of the government’s laws and on the rituals of a society they deem to be contaminated.

 

It is worth reading certain “Islamist” newspapers to see their reactions to the attacks in Paris. The West is cast as a land of “infidels.” The attacks were the result of the onslaught against Islam. Muslims and Arabs have become the enemies of the secular and the Jews. The Palestinian question is invoked along with the rape of Iraq and the memory of colonial trauma, and packaged into a messianic discourse meant to seduce the masses. Such talk spreads in the social spaces below, while up above, political leaders send their condolences to France and denounce a crime against humanity. This totally schizophrenic situation parallels the West’s denial regarding Saudi Arabia.

 

All of which leaves one skeptical of Western democracies’ thunderous declarations regarding the necessity of fighting terrorism. Their war can only be myopic, for it targets the effect rather than the cause. Since “ISIS” is first and foremost a culture, not a militia, how do you prevent future generations from turning to “jihadism” when the influence of “Fatwa Valley” and its clerics and its culture and its immense editorial industry remains intact?

 

Is curing the disease therefore a simple matter? Hardly. Saudi Arabia remains an ally of the West in the many chess games playing out in the Middle East… And there’s the trap. Denial creates the illusion of equilibrium. “Jihadism” is denounced as the scourge of the century but no consideration is given to what created it or supports it. This may allow saving face, but not saving lives.

 

Daesh has a mother: the invasion of Iraq. But it also has a father: Saudi Arabia and its religious-industrial complex. Until that point is understood, battles may be won, but the war will be lost. “Jihadists” will be killed, only to be reborn again in future generations and raised on the same books.

 

The attacks in Paris have exposed this contradiction again, but as happened after 9/11, it risks being erased from our analyses and our consciences.

Listening to Lavrov and remembering the Crusaders (UPDATED!)

I was just listening to Lavrov’s reaction to the latest grandstanding nonsense spewed yesterday by Obama.  Lavrov mentioned that it is rather clear that the USA refuse to be even the “first amongst equals”.  I had to smile.Lavrov was referring to the notion of primus inter pares which means just that, “first amongst equals”, and which was the primacy of honor the entire Christian world was willing to grant Patriarch of Rome because, at the time, Rome was the capital of the Empire.   But then, just as now, being just the “first amongst equals” was not good enough for the leader of the West which already wanted to subjugate all the other Patriarchates (Alexandria, Antioch,  Jerusalem and Constantinople), soon thereafter, the entire planet (spiritually via the Dictatus papae and secularly via the Treaty of Tordesillas).  Apparently nothing has changed in over 1000 years.  The leader of the “Western World” still wants to be the Pontifex Maximus of the entire planet and the leaders of the East as still resisting him.The Saker

Je ne Suis Pas Charlie!

It is reported that a million people marched the streets of Paris today shouting “Liberté” and “Charlie”?1

Charlie who? Charlie Hebdo? Why would I want to align myself with cartoonists who show intolerance/prejudice to other cultures and religions?

I distance myself from adherence to ancient texts such as the Koran, Bible, and Torah. Nonetheless, a plurality of humanity subscribes to the word in these texts – but in differing degrees. Muslims are not a monolith. There are sections of Muslims who are extremist in outlook and practice. However, the same holds true for Christians (witness the Crusades of past and present), Hindus (witness the toppling of the Babri Masjid by Hindu fanatics in India), Buddhists (witness the massacres of Tamils in Sri Lanka), and Jews (witness the genocidal massacres of Palestinians). I have lived with and among Muslims. I lived two years in Jordan and found them to be, in general, most welcoming and kind. I just returned from 4 months in Egypt, where aside from taxi drivers who cheat the outsiders, the people were, by-and-large, very tolerant. I reject taking the brush of extremism2 and painting an entire swath of humanity with that same brush.

I also reject the killing of people to make a political/religious statement.

I am Free Expression/Speech. But Charlie Hebdo was not about either free expression or speech. It fired a cartoonist for alleged anti-Semitism, and was fined by the French High Court for doing so.3 For Charlie Hebdo, in other words, Islamophobia is okay, but Judeophobia is not okay. This is by definition hypocrisy. Je n’aime pas l’hypocrisie.

France is not about free expression/speech. One is not free to challenge the Jewish Holocaust narrative in France. Literature professor Robert Faurisson was excoriated by the French establishment for his views challenging the Jewish Holocaust narrative, and professor Noam Chomsky became unpopular for his advocacy for free speech in the case of Faurisson. Chomsky held, “… it has been a truism for years, indeed centuries, that it is precisely in the case of horrendous ideas that the right of free expression must be most vigorously defended; it is easy enough to defend free expression for those who require no such defense.”4

If Charlie Hebdo is not about freedom of expression and/or speech, and if the French state is not about such, then what does it actually mean to say “Je suis Charlie“?

It is easy enough for anarchists and other progressives to state what they are. Most would say I am Free Expression/Speech. I am Tolerance. I am Peace.Charlie Hebdo and the French state are not about free expression and speech;5 they are not about tolerance (France, for example, does not tolerate the Muslim sartorial of the hijab having outlawed it). Neither are they about peace. If one pokes a stick into a hornet’s nest, could one believably claim to have peaceful intentions toward hornets? (With all due respect, the analogy is presented only as an argument to refute peaceful intentions on part of Charlie Hebdo and not to compare Muslims to hornets). France’s colonialism and its ensanguined militaristic forays into Muslim nations such as Iraq, Mali, Libya, Syria adduce its violent ontology.

It behooves people of conscience to oppose what is anathema, but it is also incumbent upon people of conscience to ally themselves with what is right and principled. Charlie Hebdo is not something I wish to stand in solidarity with.6

A Triumph of Terrorism

Western media are declaring the million-man march in Paris, where world leaders paraded down Boulevard Voltaire in solidarity with France, a victory over terrorism.

Isn’t it pretty to think so.

Unfortunately, the massacre at Charlie Hebdo, its military-style execution, the escape of the assassins, and their blazing end in a shootout Friday was a triumph of terrorism not seen since 9/11.

Unlike the Boston Marathon bombing where the Tsarnaevs did not know or care whom they maimed or killed, the attack on Charlie Hebdo by the Kouachi brothers was purposeful and targeted terrorism.

And like a flash of lightning in the dark, it exposed the moral contradictions and confusion of the West.

During the slaughter the Kouachis shouted “Allahu akbar,” said they had “avenged the Prophet,” and spoke of ties to al-Qaida.

And the first response of President Francois Hollande?

These terrorists “have nothing to do with the Muslim religion.”

This is political correctness of a rare order. Perhaps terminal.

Linking arms with Hollande in solidarity and unity Sunday was Bibi Netanyahu who declared, “I wish to tell to all French and European Jews — Israel is your home.” Colleagues urged French Jews to flee to Israel.

Marching on the other side of Hollande was Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas who seeks to have Netanyahu’s Israel indicted in the International Criminal Court for war crimes in Gaza. Solidarity!

In chanting “Je Suis Charlie,” the marchers showed support for a magazine French Muslims rightly believe is racist and anti-Islamic.

Yet, Marine Le Pen, leading in the polls for the French presidency, was blacklisted from marching for remarks about Muslim immigration that are benign compared to what Charlie Hebdo regularly publishes.

All weekend long, journalists called it an imperative for us all to defend the lewd and lurid blasphemies of the satirical magazine.

But as journalist Christopher Dickey points out, Muslims in the banlieues wonder why insulting the Prophet is a protected freedom in France, while denying the Holocaust can get you a prison term.

Hypocrisy is indeed the tribute that vice pays to virtue.

Moreover, all this chatter about freedom of speech and of the press misses the point. It was not the right to publish that provoked the slaughter, but the content of what was published.

When Aaron Burr challenged Alexander Hamilton to a duel, and killed him, he was not attacking the First Amendment freedom of the press, but rather Hamilton, for defamation of Burr’s character, which had helped to destroy Burr’s career.

What the commentators seem to be saying about the assault on Charlie Hebdo is that not only is what is spoken or published protected by the First Amendment, but those who print and publish vile things must never suffer violent consequences.

People who believe this is attainable are living in a dream world, and may not be long for this one.

Even as children you knew there were words you did not use about someone else’s girlfriend, mother, family, faith or race, if you did not want a thrashing.

That same day millions marched in France, Saudi Arabia was administering 50 lashes to blogger Raif Badawi convicted of insulting Saudi clergy, the first of 1,000 lashes over 20 weeks in addition to his 10-year jail sentence. Had Badawi been guilty of apostasy, he would have been executed.

Welcome to the new Middle East, same as the old Middle East.

And Islam and the Prophet were not the only targets of Charlie Hebdo. Catholicism was also. In one cartoon, Charlie Hebdo depicts the First and Second Persons of the Blessed Trinity in incestuous activity.

And we all supposed to march in solidarity with that?

A liberal secular West might find this a democratic duty. Not all will. When people are using the First Amendment to assault the somewhat older Second Commandment, “Though shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain,” they should not be surprised when devout followers of Abrahamic faiths take a pass.

These Islamic terrorists are sending us a message:

In the post-Christian West, Christians may turn the other check at insults to their God and faith. We are not turn-the-other cheek people. Insult our faith, mock the Prophet, and we kill you.

An awakening and rising Islamic world — a more militant faith than Christianity or secularism — is saying to the West:

We want you out of our part of the world, and we are coming to your part of the world, and you cannot stop us.

And Francois Hollande’s response? Show solidarity with Islam by ostracizing Marine Le Pen.

This is the true heir of Edouard Daladier of Munich fame.

The Kouachi brothers sent yet another message.

If you are a young Muslim willing to fight and die for Islam, do not waste your life as some suicide bomber in the wilds of Syria or Iraq. Do as we did; shock and awe your enemies right inside the belly of the beast.

10.  The panty bomber,  was on the terrorist list, was tortured in Gitmo and Cheney had him released.  Remember that one?  AND GUESS WHO WAS IN CHARGE OF SECURITY FOR THAT AIRPORT?  RIGHT, AN ISRAELI COMPANY.

12.  Remember the warning in Los Angeles where the Israeli run Homeland security gave out a warning that a suitcase nuke was stolen by Muslims and was going to go off in LOS ANGELES…. Then a tourist filmed a missle coming up out of the water off of Los Angeles and it went haywire and never reached its target and is now sitting at the bottom of the harbor in LA?  Well, that would have been used as the suitcase nuke, if it had ever reached its target.  I remember that one well, since that was when we thought maybe  we had friends watching out for us.  It was during the time when news was out that the US had Israeli subs on both the east and west coast.
13.  Remember the Nuke Officer who was released from duty in the pentagon because he did not set a nuke in North Carolina harbor as ordered, rather he sent it far out into the Atlantic and it went off, but did no harm to any cities?  He was fired.
14.  Remember Benghazi?  Need I say more?

There are so many more that I would be eating up the entire blog listing them all.  We blogged on almost all of them, over the years, so you can search and find more.   But I think we gave enough proof that NOTHING IS BEING DONE BY ANY MUSLIMS ANYWHERE, AND THAT ISRAEL AND HER DUAL CITIZENS IN EVERY COUNTRY ARE THE ONES KILLING OFF AMERICANS AND OTHERS NOW.  Does the USS LIBERTY ring a bell?   The USS Cole?

The  Charlie Hebdo “shooting” is most definitely a hoax… I will state the  obvious right here in that NOBODY died in that absolutely false flag event…. The good people of France have now been suckered in by massive hoax much like the Americans have been treated as gullible fools by the fraud Sandy Hook “shooting” and the laughable “Boston Bombing”…..

It is just too bad that with the Jewish control of the French mainstream BS mediathat most people in France will now be hoodwinked and suckered into the false belief that this fraud attack was caused by “crazed Islamic terrorists”, and France will now go in lockstep with both the US and Britain into the equally fraudulent ‘war on terror’…..

But I am troubled…. For there are a few reports that have come out since this fraud shooting where suddenly there have been “security” concerns about possible follow up “terrorist” attacks in France which could indeed happen…

However, strangely, according to this report from the Jew spew NY Times Online, it appears that over “5000” French troops have now been deployed to protect of all things…. “Sensitive Sites” that are all Jewish!  First, I have the link to that report here for everyone to see for themselves:

So a few Jews get killed in another country and the Jews are allowed to send out special Jewish police cars into London?  Meanwhile thousands of White girls got raped in Britain by crazy mud people and nothing happens?  Does this not show how much power Jews exercise in host nations?  We need to purge these parasites from  European nations immediately.  Send them on one-way trips to Tel Aviv as they cry six million tears.

“Extra Jewish security patrol cars and police were out in force in North-West London yesterday following the kosher store siege in Paris.

The cars look very similar to police vehicles and bear the security group’s name ‘Shomrim’ – Hebrew for ‘guards’ – along the sides and back.

The Orthodox organisation, which works closely with the Metropolitan Police, tweeted: ‘Following events in Paris we will have on extra patrols throughout NW London over Shabbos [ the Jewish sabbath].’ 

NTS Notes:  This has raised warning bells with myself and it should with everyone else… I do suspect that something much much bigger is about to happen (Economic collapse?) and the perpetrators behind the impending disaster, the so called “chosen ones” are getting their so called “security” forces and their puppet regime government forces in place to protect their own people from the fallout that will definitely occur.. (VN:  SOUNDS LIKE A MILITIA ALERT TO ME…..PATRIOTS PURGED FROM OUR MILITARY AND INTEL AGENCIES AND OATHKEEPERS,  ARE YOU READY?  WE (300 MILLION OF US) ARE BEHIND YOU.)

The fact is again that the Charlie Hebdo “shooting” was indeed a hoax, but these actions by the British and the French governments to “protect” their masters’ people,  should be a wake up call by everyone….

I have long suspected that this fraud shooting in Paris was a setup with the result being a loss of personal freedoms and liberties for the fraud of “security”…….Now it appears that the shooting was also being used to cover for the forthcoming economic collapse and our (VN: foreign….) controlled governments moving their forces into place to protect the perpetrators behind that crime against humanity.…  If someone has a better and more logical reason for this sudden push to protect “Jewish interests” exclusively, then I am all ears…

Sleeper Cell Warning Comes as Europe Scrambles to Identify Terror Threats

A Western intelligence source revealed that there could be as many as 20 sleeper cells of between 120 and 180 people ready to strike in France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.

The source told CNN national correspondent Deborah Feyerick that European Union and Middle East intelligence agencies had identified an “imminent threat” to Belgium, and possibly also to the Netherlands.

The warning comes against the backdrop of the deadly attacks in Paris last week and anti-terror raids in Belgium on Thursday that have European counterterrorism agencies scrambling to identify and thwart potential threats.

European security services in recent weeks have received indications that the extremist group ISIL may have started directing European adherents in Syria and Iraq to launch attacks in their home countries, a senior European counterterrorism official told CNN analyst Paul Cruickshank.

The official said security agencies in a number of European countries were investigating groups of returnees from Syria and Iraq, including people back on Belgian soil, who they suspect could be plotting terrorist attacks.

Belgian authorities said Thursday’s raids, in which two suspects were killed, were part of an operation investigating a cell that included people returning from Syria and that was about to carry out major terrorist attacks in Belgium.

The latest issues of Charlie Hebdo has been printed at 3 million copies (some sources said 5 million). They go on ebay for up to 300 Euros. RT reports that “Sunni Islam’s most renowned center of learning, Al-Azhar in Cairo, said that the cartoons “stir up hatred” and “do not serve the peaceful coexistence between peoples.” Tabnak, a conservative online outlet in Iran, wrote that “Charlie Hebdo has again insulted the Prophet.”

French comedian Dieudonne was arrested for “apology for terrorism”.

He had tweeted “Tonight, as far as I’m concerned, I feel like Charlie Coulibaly” (combining Charlie and the last name of one of the terrorists involved in the attacks. Millions will not take to the streets to protect his freedom of speech.  They are Charlie, but they are not Dieudonne.

A source of mine with links to French police services has told me that the French Ministry of Internal Affairs had created a hotline to report terrorist.  About 50% of the messages they got were “Allahu Akbar!”.

Another of my sources in Europe tells me that the European Commission will meet to decide if the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics will be declared “terrorist organizations” following the bombing of a bus filled with civilians in the Ukraine.  Apparently, the bus exploded out of reach of Novorussian artillery and probably on a landmine.

HOW MANY MOSSAD AGENTS does it take to pull off a false flag?

Just enough to have a getaway car ready at a Kosher Restaurant two miles from theCharlie Hebdo scene in Paris.

The perpetrators’ first car, a black Citroen, was abandoned at the restaurant while a grey Renault was provided for the murderers to flee in, reportedly “carjacked” as per the French police.

One look at how carefully the getaway car was parked in front of the Kosher Restaurant suggests that the attackers were in no hurry to escape since they knew that a safe haven and another car was ready for them for the second leg of their getaway.

Why the French police are claiming the Renault getaway vehicle was “carjacked” appears to cover the fact that the Renault was provided by, as this author sees it, Jewish accomplices, that is, Sayanim.

Many anomalies support this author’s theory that the Charlie Hebdo attack was a Mossadfalse flag operation.

MANY ANOMOLIESFIRST OF ALL, shouts of “Allah Akbar” and “The Prophet Has Been Avenged” by the attackers were enunciated in perfect French.

If they were truly extremist Muslims, as the press is reporting it, the second slogan would also have been expressed in Arabic.

Second, how did the perpetrators know that Charlie Hebdo headquarters was going to hold a full member staff meeting at the very hour of their attack? Only, an inside informer (Read: Sayanim) could have tipped them off.

Then, the gunmen, knowing in advance the names of their targets, headed to the second floor editorial department where the meeting was held and asked people who they were, from the list of names, before shooting.

They didn’t just go in shooting up the place like a typical ‘terrorist’ attack would have been carried out.

Third, the neatly parked ‘abandoned’ car conveniently had the ID of one of the ‘terrorists.’

SURELY, THIS IS classic Mossad of pulling an ID of a formerly charged ‘criminal’ already in the intelligence system readily available to be set up as a patsy.

Seriously, who takes their ID on a commando-style ‘terror attack?’

Cui bono? Jews…to further inflame Islamophobia, specifically in this case with the French establishment which has been putting forth pro-Palestinian overtures of late…greatly“disappointing” Tel Aviv.

Right on cue, Netanyahu chimed in, “The heinous acts in Paris today won’t be the last.”

By way of deception wage war, goes the Mossad motto.

And yet another Jewish deception fools the Goyim once again.

Paris Killings: Media Lies, Unanswered Questions. Was it a False Flag?

On Friday, three days rocking Paris ended. Cherif and Said Kouachi took refuge in a Dammartin-en-Goele printing company facility. 

French security forces stormed it. Reports said gunfire was exchanged. Both brothers were killed.

Separately, Amedy Coulibaly seized the Hyper Cacher [kosher] food market in eastern Paris. Took hostages.

Threatened to kill them if police stormed the facility where the Kouachi brothers were holed up.

French security forces moved in. Killing Coulibaly. Four hostages were found dead. Five others wounded. Dead men tell no tales.

A previous article suggested Charlie Hebdo killings were less about terrorism and more about false flag deception.

Kouachi brothers and Coulibaly were well known to police for years. French intelligence services closely monitored them.

Paris prosecutor Francois Molins said both brothers spoke “more than 500 times” to Coulibaly and his girlfriend Hayat Boumedienne by telephone.

Five people remain in detention. Including the wife of one of the Kouachi brothers. Reuters said one Kouachi brother was “identified by his identity card, which had been left in the (abandoned) getaway car.”

A previous article raised doubts. Perpetrators don’t leave behind documents incriminating themselves. A clear red flag.

London’s Guardian said “police identified Coulibaly’s DNA from a cloth found near the scene of the policewoman’s in Montrouge, leading to his identification within two hours.”

Forensic DNA analysis takes time. Around two days or longer. Impossible in two hours. French police lied.

French BFM TV posted an audio clip of conversations their staff said they had with Cherif Kouachi and Coulibaly.

It waited for crisis conditions to end before airing them. An edited version had Cherif saying he “was sent by Al-Qaeda in Yemen.”

BFM said Coulibaly called the station. Spoke to its editor. Said he and Kouachi brothers “synchronized (their) operations.”

Indicated no further attacks planned. Cherif was quoted saying: “We are defenders of the prophet…We don’t kill women. We’re not like you. We have codes of honor.”

Kevin Barrett quoted No Lies Radio producer Allan Rees saying the Kouachi brothers “had a camera well placed beforehand to film the attack.”

“They spoke perfect French. Killed with military precision. Dressed in military style. Killed from a target list. Got away clean.”

“French President shows up afterwards and then convenes an emergency meeting on what measures to enact.”

“Multiple shooters. Could this be a false flag from French Intel Agency?”

This writer’s previous article said things aren’t always as they seem. Take nothing at face value.

Barrett is right saying what happened in Paris was a state-sponsored false flag unless or until proved otherwise.

The Kouachi brothers were well informed. They knew about a Wednesday Charlie Hebdo editorial meeting.

Who told them? Police were inside CH’s offices before the attack. Two officers were assigned to protect editor Stephane Charbonnier.

Why didn’t they do their job? A CH journalist let both brothers enter its heavily protected offices. No police were assigned outside.

Heavily armed security forces infest central Paris. Reports differ on what happened after the Charlie Hebdo killings.

A policeman was reportedly shot in the head. No blood was seen. One account said an officer emerged from a police car.

Another claimed he came out of a police station. A third had him on a bicycle. One source said both brothers returned to their car after killing the officer. Shouting: “We avenged the Prophet Muhammad.”

Did French security forces know about the planned Charlie Hebdo attack in advance?” [Media reports confirm foreknowledge]. Were they complicit? Did they want this type incident to take place?

Did they produce “Je suis Charlie” posters in advance? After Wednesday’s incident, they appeared straightaway. An ocean of signs. Images televised worldwide.

Were Washington’s dirty hands involved? Were Israel’s? Israeli IBA Channel 1 deputy editor Amchai Stein was at the scene at the time. He posted photos of the shooting.

Netanyahu announced that he would sent an Israeli SWAT team. Specialists in siege operations. On standby to aid French security forces.

What about Mossad and CIA operatives?  Were they involved? In planning and executing what happened.

Were Kouachi brothers and Coulibaly convenient patsies? As well as third suspect Hamyd Mourad.

His school friends twittered otherwise. Saying he was in class with them whenWednesday’s attack occurred.

After seeing his name mentioned, he turned himself in to police in Charleville-Mezierres 145 miles northeast of Paris. Nowhere near where Charlie Hebdo killings took place.

Evidence shows French security forces closely monitored both Kouachi brothers andCoulibaly.

A Le Figero report cited French Interior Minister Bernard  Cazeneuve saying they were “probably followed” prior to what happened.

Hyped media claims about Charlie Hebdo attacks targeting free expression are nonsense. Lots of people are angry about MSM reports they dislike. Editorial staff killings don’t follow.

False flags are a US tradition. Other countries use them. Black flag operations designed to deceive.

Big Lies. Gross distortions. Propaganda. Pointing fingers the wrong way. Falsified myths contrary to reality.

Pretexts for militarism. Wars. Colonizing countries for profit. Homeland repression.

Creating national security state extremism. A dagger in the heart of free and open societies.

Obvious questions aren’t asked. Cui bono? Why would both Kouachi brothers and Coulibaly target journalists and supermarket personnel and customers respectively?

For what purpose? What could they hope to gain? Martyrdom usually demands striking high-profile targets. Not ones unrelated to government policies.

Paul Craig Roberts believes America benefits most from what happened. Its hegemonic agenda. Its quest for world dominance.

Truth is systematically buried. Big Lies substitute. Fear-mongering gets people to go along with what harms them.

Believing war on terrorism mumbo jumbo is real. Accepting official narrative rubbish. Mindless of US-led Western support for radicalized Islamists.

Recruiting, arming, funding, training and directing them. Using them as proxy foot soldiers. Against US enemies.

In countries America attacks. Others destabilized by subversion. For political advantage. A previous article explained terrorists R us. State-sponsored.

Public opinion manipulated to believe otherwise. Manufacturing consent for what demands rejection. The late Gore Vidal said:

Fundamental freedoms eroding in real time. Throughout Western societies. Incidents like in Paris for three days should scare everyone.

Al-Qaeda Group Claims Responsibility for Paris Terror Attack

An al-Qaeda affiliate in Yemen claimed responsibility late Friday for the deadly attack on a satirical newspaper in France this week, not long after French police killed the suspects to end a three-day manhunt.

A statement provided to the Associated Press from the group al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) said “the leadership of AQAP directed the operations and they have chosen their target carefully.” The statement said the attack, which killed 12 people at the offices of the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo, was intended as “revenge for the honor” of the Prophet Mohammad, the depiction of whom is forbidden by Islamic tradition. The magazine had repeatedly mocked him—and other religions—in cartoons.

The claim, which the unnamed spokesman said was delayed two days after Wednesday’s attack for “security reasons,” did not come as a shock. One of the gunmen in the Charlie Hebdo attack shouted, “You can tell the media it was al-Qaeda in Yemen” during the assault, according to a witness. And the French news channel BFM Television reported that two of the suspected attackers, Said and Cherif Kouachi, made the same claim in a phone call from the printing plant where they held a hostage and were later killed in a police assault Friday. Earlier reports indicated Said Kouachi visited AQAP for several months in 2011 and 2012.

Paris Killings: Terrorism or False Flag?

Things aren’t always as they seem. When incidents like this happen, take nothing at face value.

On Wednesday, three heavily armed masked men attacked the Paris-based satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo. Known for lampooning Islam, other religions and political figures.

The incident took place in broad daylight. Killing 12. Wounding eight others. MSM reports didn’t surprise. Headlines screamed “terrorism.”

BBC was typical. “Unprecedented terrorism,” it said. “France has never seen terror like this.”

New York Times editors said the “massacre…motivated by hate.” Calling what happened “terrorism.”

Washington Post editors said “Charlie Hebdo stands for free expression. The West must do no less.”

Wall Street Journal editors headlined “Islamist Terror in Paris,” saying:

“Wednesday’s massacre…is a reminder that jihadism isn’t a distant Middle Eastern phenomenon.”

“There will be many more such attempts at mass murder, and authorities in the US and Europe need broad authority to surveil and interrogate potential plotters to stop them.”

“(V)iolent Islam isn’t a reaction to poverty or Western policies in the Middle East.”

“It is an ideological challenge to Western civilization and principles…”

Los Angeles times editors headlined “Paris terrorists aimed at freedom of expression, we must defend it.” Calling the attackers “terrorists.”

Chicago Tribune editors headlined “Terror in France.” Calling the incident an attempt to “stifle” free expression.

London Guardian editors referred to “guns…trained on free speech.”

French President Francois Hollande called the attack an assault on “the expression of freedom…the spirit of the republic.”

On prime time evening television, he said: “Today the French republic as a whole was the target.” He declared Thursday a national day of mourning.

Obama called Hollande from Air Force One. A White House statement said he “personally offer(ed) his condolences.”

“(E)xpress(ed) solidarity after this morning’s horrific terrorist attack in Paris.”

“Americans stand beside the people of France in the aftermath of this outrage.” Offered US “resources” to help bring the perpetrators to justice. “(A)nd anyone who helped plan or enable this terrorist attack.”

Hard-right National Front leader Marine Le Pen said “(t)he nation is under attack, our culture, our way of life. France must be in the war against Islamic fundamentalism. They are at war against France.”

In 2006, Charlie Hebdo (CH) reprinted controversial Prophet Muhammad cartoons. Originally published by the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten.

On November 2, 2011, CH’s office was fire-bombed. Its web site hacked. After its special edition called “Charia Hebdo.”

The Prophet Muhammad listed as “editor-in-chief.” The cover featured a cartoon lampooning him. Saying “100 lashes of the whip if you don’t die laughing.”

On Wednesday, reports said one suspect, Hamyd Mourad, walked into a Charlevill-Mezieres police station 145 miles northeast of Paris and surrendered.

How he got there wasn’t explained. Was he involved? Is he part of a false flag plot? Police identified two other suspects – Said and Cherif Kouachi. Paris residents.

Criminal investigations take time. Suspects don’t usually turn themselves in voluntarily. Let alone within hours of an incident.

Weeks often pass before police file charges. Usually after making arrests.

According to Reuters, a police source said one attacker was “identified by his identity card, which had been left in the (abandoned) getaway car.” More on this below.

Cherif Kouachi previously was imprisoned for 18 months. For criminal association with a “terrorist enterprise” in 2005.

Allegedly involved in recruiting French nationals to fight Americans in Iraq. “He was arrested before (supposedly) leaving for Iraq to join militants,” said Reuters.

“The third man (Hamyd Mourad) was not seen in any (video) footage…(I)t was not clear if he was directly (or in any way) involved in the attack.”

No one claimed responsibility, said Reuters. It cited “a witness quoted by 20 Minutes daily newspaper sa(ying) one of the assailants cried out before getting into his car: ‘Tell the media that it is al Qaeda in Yemen!’ ”

AFP said Paris is “in lockdown.” Citing “(t)roops in railway stations, armed police outside media buildings, ultra-tight security at department stores.”

“The government raised the capital’s alert to its highest level immediately after the attack…(It) deployed hundreds of police across the city.” Some reports said thousands.

In his 1997 book titled “The Grand Chessboard: American Primacy and its Geostrategic Imperatives,” former Carter administration national security advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski said:

“(A)s America becomes an increasingly multicultural society, it may find it more difficult to fashion a consensus on foreign policy issues, except in the circumstance of a truly massive and widely perceived direct external threat.”

US officials identified so-called 9/11 attackers nearly straightaway after the incident.

The FBI lied claiming Mohamed Atta left behind luggage containing “decisive evidence” about Al Qaeda’s responsibility for the attacks.

Passports allegedly found at United 93′s crash site were fake.

Alleged hijackers weren’t aboard the four fateful flights.

A previous article called the official story the mother of all Big Lies. Who ever heard of perpetrators leaving behind incriminating documents? Identifying themselves responsible for terror or other attacks.

Yet French authorities claimed one attacker left his identity card in an abandoned getaway car. An obvious red flag. Questioning the official account’s veracity.

False flags are a longstanding US tradition. 9/11 is Exhibit A. The clearest example. State-sponsored terrorism writ large. Falsely blamed on innocent victims.

Imperial wars followed. Against Afghanistan. Iraq. Parts of Pakistan. Libya. Syria. Iraq again. Palestine and Lebanon (in 2006) allied with Israel.

As well as numerous proxy wars. Homeland ones against Muslims. Black Americans. Latino immigrants. Environmental andanimal rights activists. Ordinary US workers.

In April 2013, evidence suggested state-sponsored terrorism responsibility for Boston marathon bombings.

Tamerian and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev were set up as convenient patsies. Neither brother had anything to do with what happened.

European countries have their own crosses to bear. Partnered with Washington’s quest for world dominance. Needing justification for imperial wars.

Crackdowns on homeland freedoms. What better way than by stoking fear. False flag terrorist attacks work best. Hyped by media propaganda.

In March 2004, Madrid train bombings occurred three days before Spain’s general elections.

Al Qaeda was blamed. With no corroborating evidence. Fear was stoked. Suggesting follow-up attacks against other Western targets. Including American ones.

On July 7, 2005, so-called London 7/7 underground bombings attacked the city’s public transport system.

During the morning rush hour for maximum disruption and casualties. At precisely the same time, an anti-terror drill occurred. Simulating real attacks.

At the time, AP said Israel’s London embassy warned Scotland Yard in advance. Israeli Army Radio reported:

“Scotland Yard had intelligence warnings of the attacks a short time before they occurred.”

No action was taken. Israel’s then finance minister Netanyahu was told to skip a London economic conference. He was scheduled to speak.

Other officials were warned, not the public. Fifty-two people died. Over 700 were injured.

These type attacks raise suspicions. Vital questions remain unanswered. Who gains? Who loses?

On 9/11 morning, the CIA simulated a pre-planned emergency response required if a plane struck a building.

Held at its Chantilly, Virginia Reconnaissance Office. Simulating a small jet aircraft hitting one of its buildings.

In October 2000, the Pentagon simulated a commercial plane striking its building. Pre-9/11 exercises preceded the real thing.

On June 30, 2007, a Jeep Cherokee with propane canisters crashed into Glasgow International Airport’s glass doors. The usual suspects were blamed. Islamic terrorists.

In May 2013, two assailants killed British soldier Lee Rigby. In broad daylight in London. Alleged attackers remained on the scene.

Until police arrived 20 minutes later. Why wasn’t explained. Killers don’t usually stay around to be captured.

Both assailants were shot and apprehended. Hospitalized for treatment.

One allegedly said “(w)e must fight as they fight us. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.” Britain’s ITV news aired an edited video clip.

Allegedly a witness filmed it. Conveniently in the right place at the right time. Showing a young Black man with blood dripping from his hands.

Saying “(w)e swear by almighty Allah we will never stop fighting you.”

“The only reason reason we have done this is because Muslims are dying every day.”

Reports called what happened the first domestic Al Qaeda-inspired attack since the July 7, 2005 underground (so-called 7/7) bombings.

On January 11, 2010, one day before Haiti’s devastating earthquake, the Pentagon’s US Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) simulated a hurricane striking the island.

In preparation for carefully planned measures to be implemented. Involving occupation, control and plunder.

Deputy SOUTHCOM commander General PK Keen was in Haiti when the quake struck the next day. Ready to initiate US policy.

Haiti remains colonized. Plundered for profit. Its people exploited. With no say over issues most affecting their lives. Controlled by America’s iron fist.

What follows Wednesday’s Paris attacks remains to be seen. Maybe CIA operatives plan something similar in America.

Perhaps another step toward eliminating freedom altogether. Escalating US-led NATO’s war on the Middle East.

Deadly Shooting Kills 12 at French Satirical weekly

12 people were killed when gunmen armed with Kalashnikovs and a rocket-launcher opened fire in the offices of French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo on Wednesday, said sources close to the investigation.

The prosecutor’s office said twelve people were killed in the attack.

Deputy Mayor of Paris Bruno Julliard earlier said “six people are seriously injured”, including a policeman. It was not clear whether these now figured among the dead.

French President Francois Hollande arrived at the scene of the shooting after rushing there and calling an emergency cabinet meeting, the presidency said.

The government raised its alert level to the highest possible in the greater Paris region.

A source close to the investigation said two men “armed with a Kalashnikov and a rocket-launcher” stormed the building in central Paris and “fire was exchanged with security forces.”

The source said a gunman had hijacked a car and knocked over a pedestrian while attempting to speed away.

The publication’s cartoonist Renaud Luzier earlier told AFP there were “casualties” after the incident.

The satirical newspaper gained notoriety in February 2006 when it reprinted offensive cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) that had originally appeared in Danish daily Jyllands-Posten, causing fury across the Muslim world.
