The Israeli occupation launched a drone strike on the Balata camp in Nablus, causing several martyrs and wounded.

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported five martyrs resulting from the bombing. The Palestinian News Agency, Wafa, also quoted the Red Crescent Society as stating that seven Palestinians sustained very serious injuries.

The Israeli occupation forces targeted on Saturday, with a drone strike, the headquarters of the Fatah movement in the Balata Camp in Nablus, in the northern West Bank, killing and wounding a number of people.

The camp witnessed a power outage, while Palestinians rushed to retrieve the bodies and wounded.

The Al-Quds Brigades – Jenin Brigade announced that its resistance fighters engaged in a response and confrontation operation that lasted several hours against the Israeli occupation forces and vehicles in the Jenin camp in the occupied West Bank on Friday.

At dawn on Friday, the Israeli occupation forces raided several cities and towns in the West Bank. These actions led to confrontations and injuries as the local residents resisted the occupation vehicles and forces during their raids in the affected areas.

In Jenin, a large number of occupation forces, accompanied by more than 80 military vehicles and bulldozers, stormed a number of neighborhoods in the city and the vicinity of its camp and deployed their snipers on the roofs of a number of homes and buildings, which led to the outbreak of confrontations with young men.

The occupation forces fired flare bombs in the sky of Jenin, coinciding with an intense flight of reconnaissance aircraft.

Resistance fighters confronted the Israeli raids with explosive devices and bullets. The Al-Qassam Brigade in Jenin reported that fighters in the camp aimed at the IOF using both bullets and explosive devices, engaging in armed confrontations with them simultaneously.

West Bank Shooting Injures 4 Israelis as Hamas Warns against Ben Gvir Police Bill

Injuries were reported among Israelis in the West Bank on Tuesday as Hamas resistance movement warned against a bill that would grant so-called National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir sweeping powers to direct police to take far-ranging actions against suspects who have not been charged with any crime.

Four Israelis were wounded in a shooting attack near the so-called settlement of Mevo Dotan, west of Jenin in the northern West Bank, Israeli media reported, quoting Magen David Adom as saying.

The Jerusalem Post reported that a number of Palestinian shooters fired at a man in his 30s, wounding him, before driving further down the road and shooting three additional Israelis and wounding them lightly.

Balata Refugee Camp Raid

Meanwhile on Tuesday, Two Palestinians were injured as Israeli occupation forces raided Balata refugee camp in Nablus, prompting clashes with local residents.

At least two Palestinians were wounded by Israeli gunfire during the raid, Palestinian Health Ministry said, noting that one was shot in the chest and the other in the elbow and thigh.

The two are in stable condition, the Palestinian ministry added.

Israeli occupation forces were surrounding a home in the Balata refugee camp, attacking it with bombs, Palestinian sources reported.

Israeli Provocations in Al-Quds

Meanwhile, Israeli provocations in occupied Al-Quds went ahead, with Zionist settlers performing Jewish songs near Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Ben Gvir Bill

On the other hand, Hamas resistance movement denounced the Israeli bill that would allow Ben Gvir to impose renewable detention orders for up to six months at a time and restrict suspects’ movements, communications and access to employment or international travel without needing to file charges or to present evidence.

The bill is aimed at oppressing our people in the occupied territories of 1948, under the pretext of alleged countering crime, Hamas said in a statement.

In the early hours of Monday, the Balata refugee camp in Nablus, northern West Bank, was stormed by Israeli occupation forces where they opened fire on Palestinians resulting in the death of three individuals.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health identified the martyrs as Fathi Jihad Rizq, 30, Abdullah Yousef Abu Hamdan, 24, and Mohammad Bilal Zeitoun, 32.

In addition, many others were wounded. State-run Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that the occupation forces performed searches and ransacked dozens of homes in the camp whilst creating violent confrontations with Palestinian Resistance fighters.

There was also the report of an explosion inside the house of the Abu Shalal family that resulted in injuries to two children and significant damage to neighboring houses.

Furthermore, emergency ambulance crews were reportedly prevented from reaching the injured individuals. The Nablus Battalion – Balata Groups announced that its Resistance fighters had clashed with the Israeli occupation forces in multiple areas causing substantial damage.

The situation escalated when the Israeli regime launched a series of airstrikes against Gaza on May 9, resulting in dozens of martyrs. This marked the worst episode of fighting between Gaza’s resistance factions and the Israeli regime since a 10-day war in 2021.

Palestinian media reported two houses being hit by Israeli strikes in central Gaza, with Israeli occupation claiming they were sites belonging to Islamic Jihad resistance movement.

“We have not reached an agreement regarding a temporary ceasefire [mediated by] Egypt, the talks are continuing,” the spokesman tells the Al-Araby news network, according to the Ynet news site.

“Israel wants quiet in exchange for quiet, without committing to an end to the targeted killings,” the spokesman added.

2 Martyrs in West Bank’s Nablus

Elsewhere in the West Bank, two Palestinians were martyred and many others were injured in a brutal Israeli raid on Balata refugee camp in Nablus city.

Palestinian Red Crescent medical service said two Palestinians were martyred during clashes with Israeli occupation forces (IOF), adding that its medics were denied access by the IOF.

In clips published by Palestinian media, gunfire can be heard across the camp.

Islamic Jihad Commander Martyred

Earlier on Friday, Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad, pronounced martyrdom of one of its senior commanders, Iyad Al-Hasani (Abu Anas), who was targeted by an Israeli strike.

Al-Hasani was said to be the head of Al-Quds Brigades operations. Reports suggested that he was responsible for coordenation between Al-Quds Brigades and Al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas resistance movement.

Al-Hasani is the sixth Islamic Jihad commander martyred since the start of  the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza on Tuesday (May 9).

A Palestinian youth, identified as Ahmad Abu Junaid, died on Wednesday of wounds sustained during an Israeli army raid of the Balata refugee camp in Nablus, the Ministry of Health announced.

The Ministry said in a statement that Abu Junaid, 21, was shot in the head and was moved to the hospital where he was pronounced dead in the afternoon.

Israeli soldiers raided the Balata refugee camp on Wednesday morning to arrest activists but were faced with fierce resistance, forcing them to withdraw without arresting anyone. The soldiers opened fire at protesters, critically injuring Abu Junaid.

Abu Junaid is the fifth Palestinian to be killed by Israeli soldiers in the occupied West Bank since the start of this year.
