Member of Hezbollah’s “Loyalty to the Resistance” parliamentary bloc Hassan Fadlallah called for “meeting Hezbollah’s efforts to reinforce internal understandings and consensus for the election of a President of the Republic. In this frame, we have meetings with all political forces, some of which we agree with and others we don’t. We’ll pursue these meetings, as we’re not the only party that controls the accessibility to reach an understanding. There are other parties in this country.”
The Hezbollah MP stressed the necessity for “the political parties to meet one another, and agree on who’s qualified to be the President of the Republic since there’s in Lebanon who is qualified to fill this position.”
Fadlallah further emphasized “the need to achieve consensus which is what the structure of our country obliges us to do. Hence, no one can reach anything by competition and inciting. Hezbollah wants to hold the presidential elections but not randomly. We don’t want to fill this position with a random person, as he may deepen the crisis more.”
“We want to fill the vacancy with who fits, not to be filled otherwise. So, we called them for attending meetings, understandings, and dialogues because no one in the parliament possesses a two-thirds majority, and yet no one has majority of 65 seats. The position of the President of the Republic is crucial in our political system, as electing a president leads to the formation of a new government, which organizes the constitutional institutions. Accordingly, the government, which enjoys full powers, has to run the country’s affairs and address our crisis, especially that we see the financial and economic deterioration aggravates.”
By the same token, Fadlallah noted that “We stated a group of specifications for the President to have. We don’t need a president or a government or anyone to protect the Resistance. The Resistance is the one protecting the country, and it was the one that kicked Ariel Sharon out of Baabda Palace in 1982. Hadn’t it been for the Resistance, the Baabda Palace would have still been occupied until this day.”
“The Resistance liberated Lebanon, the Presidency, the state, and the institutions. It doesn’t need the protection of anyone. All we are saying is that we need a president who neither betrays the Resistance, nor the country and other political parties.”
The Lebanese security dismantled a large number of spying networks working for the Israeli Mossad in different cities and towns in Lebanon, the operation included arresting over 30 individuals many of whom were not aware they working for Israel.
Seventeen networks and counting, the Lebanese Internal Security ISF confirmed the operation is still ongoing after the initial disclosure of the discovery of large isolated networks, some of the networks comprised of one spy, and other networks had multiple members, the targets were the Lebanese Resistance Hezb Allah, the Palestinian Resistance, and one of the spies arrested was in Syria.
This is the largest security operation carried out by the Lebanese security in over a decade, the country is devastated by an inhumane siege and a blockade imposed on it by the USA and the Gulfies spearheaded by the Saudis, this did not hinder the patriotic members of the ISF from cooperating with the Lebanese Hezb Allah, and the Syrian authorities to uncover these networks of spies. The operation took so far 5 weeks of investigations until the final sweep arrests. The ISF thought at first the networks were connected.
This security operation also comes as a major blow to the efforts by the USA and the Saudis in shifting the mood of the Lebanese people to accept Israel as a normal country in the region defying all reasoning, logic, geography, history, and humanity. It proves that the billions of US dollars and Saudi Riyals spent to woo away the Lebanese from the resistance movement and the Resistance Axis (Syria, Iran, Iraqi PMU, Palestinian liberation factions, Yemen, and Hezb Allah), all the billions were wasted.
Lebanon, like Syria’s only crime, is neighboring Palestine which was selected by the European colonial powers to force-export their unwanted poorer Jews from their continent in order to serve many of their evil goals, one of which is to prevent an Arab unity across West Asia, the Arabian Peninsula, and North Africa, another was to keep a control on the ancient trade routes, among other reasons not one of them has a shred of humanity in it.
A number of those arrested weren’t aware who their real employers were, most of who thought they were working for international humanitarian and survey organizations, and the rest have been referred to the public prosecution for trial.

Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem stressed on Saturday that the Resistance Party will continue accumulating weapons, training troops and augmenting military power to face any Israeli war.
Addressing the Arab Forum for Supporting the Palestinian Prisoners in the Israeli jails, Sheikh Qassem reiterated Hezbollah stance which backs the prisoners and condemns all the Zionist measures against them.
Sheikh Qassem indicated that supporting the Palestinian cause is the duty of all the liberals across the world, adding that the fall of the Israeli occupation is just a matter of time.
Sheikh Qassem also noted that some Lebanese parties reject the resistance weaponry in order to identify themselves with the Arab regimes normalizing ties with the Zionist entity.
Lebanese parents are left distraught after their kids are “spoon-fed” the Israeli rhetoric in their textbooks. Al Mayadeen English investigates the matter in depth.
Many parents described what is happening as a reductive and suspicious contrivance
A parent of a Lebanese student blew the whistle after what she discovered in her 16-year-old’s “History Geography” textbook. The textbook, published by Nathan Publishing House and used by French international schools in Lebanon, depicts a version of history that fits the Israeli narrative exclusively. Despite Lebanese law sanctioning such publications being circulated in the Lebanese curriculum, books containing such narratives continue to be used.

How to ‘innocently’ justify an ethnic cleansing
The school textbook mentioned above includes a whole chapter under the title “The creation of the state of Israel” and it is used by many high schools operating in Lebanon and using the French Baccalauréat system. The main problem lies in the complete and shocking absence of any mention of the existence of a Palestinian people on this land, or of the process of ethnic cleansing that was conducted gradually until it culminated in the 1948 war, i.e. the an-Nakba.
Zionism is described in the textbook as a mere “political movement” aimed at creating a “national home for the Jews in Palestine”, without any mention of how it intended to do so or how it (the movement) actually proceeded to colonize the land and expel the natives. There is no counter to the “Israeli Declaration of Independence” arguments about the “right of Jewish people” to declare a sovereign state on the land of another existing people, neither does it point out the countless contradictions within the “declaration” itself.
Reports from Lebanese high schools
A secondary school supervisor who spoke on the condition of anonymity disclosed to Al Mayadeen English that the aforementioned chapter has been taught in the school unfiltered and with no consideration whatsoever to Lebanese laws or to the ideology of students who reject such narrative. Some students risk losing grades as they refuse to respond to any questions related to “Israel” during examinations.
Another school principal affirmed that since the institution is on Lebanese soil, it must abide by Lebanese legislation. However, the principal didn’t give a clear response on whether or not the aforementioned chapter is taught at his school.
On her part, Maria, a 16-year-old student, told Al Mayadeen English that she was obliged to complete the curriculum requirements, which include studying the aforementioned book and being examined on its content in order to obtain her French Baccalaureate (BF).
“My village was occupied by ‘Israel’ and my family still mourns our martyred relatives who were killed by Israeli airstrikes in the 2006 war; no textbook can change or alter my memories. This narrative should be banned from our textbooks,” she ardently declared.

One parent feared that such thoughts would influence students in educational institutions if teachers and parent committees failed to hastily address the issue.
Jad, a 16-year-old student, said, “I read the aforementioned chapter. I went home and had a talk about it with my dad whose narrative contradicted what I was being taught. I was confused. He explained the Nakba and the Naksa, detailing the atrocities ‘Israel’ committed against both Palestine and Lebanon. None of that was mentioned in the book.”
A Déjà-vu
These experiences are not new to Lebanese families, who constantly feel the need to recall the oppression and sufferings inflicted on them by the Israeli occupation.
Many parents described what is happening as a reductive and suspicious contrivance.
“We are noticing that the minds of our kids are being infiltrated in many ways. As a Lebanese national whose country is still under Israeli occupation, I absolutely oppose and reject the inclusion of such misleading and hurtful information in my kids’ textbooks,” one parent said.
“My teacher explained the aforementioned chapter from a different perspective. The majority of the students in my classroom don’t know the history of wars with ‘Israel’ and what really occurred. In my opinion, such critical historical information should be part of our curriculum. We can’t resist our enemies without knowing the reasons behind our hatred,” a student from a francophone school told Al Mayadeen English.
The role of teachers, as well as parents, seems to be critical in that regard.
Adding insult to injury
In 2017, a textbook had “Israel” and not Palestine on the map. Instantly, the Ministry of Education issued a decree preventing the use of textbooks that include “Israel” instead of Occupied Palestine.
Dr. Samah Idriss, a founding member of the Campaign to Boycott Supporters of “Israel” in Lebanon (CBSI), spoke with Al Mayadeen English about the dangerous implications of the Israeli narrative in school textbooks, stressing that it doesn’t reflect the official Lebanese position, which considers “Israel” as an enemy.
“Lebanon condemns the Israeli occupation which violates universal principles and the right of people to self-governance,” he said.
Idriss vilified the role of the Israeli lobby in France, which he described as firmly authoritative, affirming that it persistently updates the French curricula to meet the standards of the Zionist propaganda.
“The lobby controls the content of the textbooks and where they are distributed. The fact that such textbooks are taught in Lebanese schools is not a mere or innocent coincidence,” Idriss added.
In an exclusive interview for Al Mayadeen English, Idriss revealed that “the goal is to brainwash children, forcing them into accepting the Israeli narrative and becoming empathetic towards Zionism, paving the way for a future conceding generation with no intention of resistance.”
“Our children and youth are being indoctrinated through school curricula and extra-curricular activities, such as video games, sports, movies, and books”, Idriss said.
In a recent development, a new edition of the History Gerophraphy textbook published by Belin Publishing House had a section with false information about the Beirut Blast.
The textbook included a section falsely stating that “Israel” helped Lebanon after the explosion.
Two ways to act
While several Lebanese teachers filed personal complaints against the Publishing House, the Lebanese Ministry of Education didn’t take any official action.
Al Mayadeen English contacted the Ministry of Education to no avail.
On her account, a university professor and a member of the Campaign to Boycott Supporters of ‘Israel’ in Lebanon, Dr. Rania al-Masri, stressed that “it is an atrocity to present the Israeli narrative in our school textbooks”, adding that “’Israel’ never helped any country. It just killed our people.”
Al-Masri detailed that there are two things that the Lebanese government should do. “Firstly, the Lebanese Boycott Law should be implemented, and secondly and most importantly, our enmity with ‘Israel’ needs to be asserted on all levels.”
“Subsequent governments in Lebanon reassert our enmity with ‘Israel’, yet that enmity is not translated into action throughout our governmental institutions! It is not enough to liberate our land if our youth are not properly taught how the Zionist project is an existential threat to Lebanon.”
في مثل هذه الأيام سطّر رجال المقاومة البطولات في ميادين مواجهة قوات الاحتلال الغازية خلال عدوانها على لبنان في تموز من عام 2006 وحطّموا خلالها جبروت جيش الاحتلال الصهيونيّ وأذلوا ضباطه وجنوده ولقنوهم دروساً في القتال وجهاً لوجه في بنت جبيل ومارون الراس وعيتا الشعب وعيترون وسهل الخيام ووادي الحجير والغندوريّة إلخ… وقد تجسّد ذلك في حالة الانهيار في معنويات جنود النخبة الصهاينة الذين وجدوا أنفسهم أمام قتال حقيقي أصبحوا فيه شخوصاً يصطادهم رجال المقاومة في الليل والنهار، فيما دبابات الميركافا التي كان يحتمي فيها جنود العدو تحوّلت إلى توابيت لهم بعد أن أحرقها المقاومون بصواريخ الكورنيت…
بفضل هذه البطولات التي جسّدها المقاومون كان يُصنع النصر في كل ساحات المواجهة في البر والبحر وفي تحويل مدن ومستعمرات الكيان في فلسطين المحتلة إلى ساحة حرب افتقد فيها الصهاينة الأمن والأمان، مما هزّ وخلخل مرتكزات وجود كيانهم الغاصب، وقلب المعادلة رأسا على عقب، فبدل أن تُسحَق المقاومة وتحطّم قوتها وتنهار شعبيتها ويقوّض نموذجها الناجح في إلحاق الهزيمة بجيش الاحتلال، وتحرير الأرض من دنسه بلا قيد ولا شرط، وجدنا انّ المقاومة هي مَن سحق ودمّر جيش العدو الذي حاول دون جدوى أن يمحو آثار ونتائج وتداعيات هزيمته عام 2000… فإذا به يُمنى بهزيمة أشدّ وأقسى…
لقد أدّت هذه الهزيمة الجديدة لجيش العدو الصهيونيّ إلى نتيجتين:
النتيجة الأولى، ازدياد شعبية المقاومة التي أثبتت مجدّداً أنها قادرة على تحقيق آمال وتطلعات جماهير الأمة العربيّة، حيث أخفقت الجيوش العربيّة، وذلك بتأكيدها أنها قادرة على إلحاق الهزيمة تلو الهزيمة بجيش العدو وتحطيم أسطورته، واستعادة الحقوق المغتَصبة.. ولهذا نجحت المقاومة الشعبيّة المسلّحة في إدخال كيان العدو في مسار الهزيمة والتراجع والعجز عن تحقيق النصر في مواجهة المقاومين.. وبالتالي فإنّ هذا الكيان كما حقق النصر على العرب تلو النصر واحتلّ الأرض قطعة إثر قطعة، فإنّ المقاومة ستلحق به الهزيمة تلو الهزيمة وصولاً إلى إنهاء وجوده غير الشرعيّ على أرض فلسطين المحتلة…
النتيجة الثانية، قرع جرس الإنذار في العواصم الغربية الاستعمارية، التي خيّم عليها الذعر وأدركت انّ الكيان، الذي زرعته في فلسطين المحتلة ودعمته وزوّدته بكلّ عناصر القوة لحراسة مصالحها الاستعمارية ومنع توحّد الأمة العربية، وضرب حركات التحرّر وتقويض الأنظمة التقدمية، أدركت انّ هذا الكيان بات عاجزاً عن الاستمرار في تحقيق هذه المهمة، ويحتاج إلى مَن يحميه، لا بل انّ وجوده أصبح بخطر حقيقي، ولهذا فإنّ درء هذا الخطر والحفاظ على وجود واستقرار هذا الكيان أصبح مرتبطاً بتقويض المقاومة التي تجرّأت على إلحاق الهزيمة به، خاصة أنّ استمرار هذه المقاومة وتزايد قوّتها لم يعُد يهدّد فقط وجود الكيان الصهيوني، وإنما بات يهدّد أيضاً النفوذ الاستعماريّ الغربيّ في الوطن العربي، وبالتالي تحرير ثروات الأمة من نهب الشركات الغربية…
انطلاقاً مما تقدّم، يمكن تفسير لماذا كلّ هذه الحروب الإرهابية والاقتصادية التي تستهدف هذه المقاومة والدول الداعمة لها، لا سيما سورية وإيران… ولماذا شدّدت واشنطن وحلفاؤها في الغرب، الحرب الاقتصادية على لبنان، وعمدت إلى دعم أحزاب ومجموعات من الـ NGOZ، وأغدقت عليها الأموال الطائلة باعتراف المسؤول في الخارجية الأميركية ديفيد هيل الذي قال إن واشنطن أنفقت 10 مليارات دولار في لبنان ضمن استراتيجية مواجهة حزب الله..
ولهذا فإنّ ما يعاني منه لبنان واللبنانيون هذه الأيام من أزمات مالية واقتصادية واجتماعية خانقة إنما يعود في جزء أساسي إلى هذه الاستراتيجية الأميركية، القائمة على إثارة الاضطرابات في لبنان ودعم قوى سياسية وأهلية، بالتزامن مع تشديد الحصار الاقتصادي ومنع الحلول المتاحة لهذه الأزمات، وذلك بهدف تحميل حزب الله المقاوم وحلفائه المسؤولية عن الأزمات ومحاولة تأليب اللبنانيين ضدّهم في سياق خطة لإخضاع لبنان للشروط الأميركية، مقابل رفع الحصار الاقتصادي…
لكن المقاومة التي عرفت كيف تلحق الهزيمة بقوى الإرهاب في الجرود اللبنانية وتنجز التحرير الثاني، وتسهم إلى جانب حلف المقاومة في إلحاق الهزائم بجيوش الإرهاب الأميركية الصهيونية الغربية في سورية، والعراق، قادرة على إحباط أهداف الحرب الاقتصادية الأميركية الجديدة.. وهو ما كان قد وعد به قائد المقاومة سماحة السيد حسن نصرالله، في بداية تفجّر الاحتجاجات الشعبية في 17 تشرين 2019، عندما قال، لن نركع ولن نجوع وسوف نقتلك، مخاطباً الأميركيّ بطريقة غير مباشرة…
ولهذا بعد نحو سنة وثمانية أشهر، نجد اليوم أن العواصم الغربية تعبّر عن قلقها من أن يؤدي اندفاع الأوضاع في لبنان إلى الانهيار الشامل وتحلل الدولة اللبنانية نتيجة الحصار الاقتصادي الخانق الذي تفرضه على لبنان، الى هجرة اللبنانيين والنازحين السوريين نحو الدول الأوروبية، وتعزيز موقف حزب الله وتمكينه من القيام بدور الدولة في حلّ أزمات اللبنانيين من خلال تأمين الدعم من إيران وسورية والعراق إلخ… وتحقيق التكامل الاقتصاديّ المشرقيّ… مما يشكل ضربة قاصمة للنفوذ الأميركي الغربي في لبنان.. لهذا بدأت العواصم الغربية تتحدّث عن ضرورة تقديم المساعدات للبنان لمنع انهيار الدولة، لدرء النتائج السلبيّة على نفوذها في لبنان، وتجنّب هجرة جماعيّة باتجاه الدول الأوروبيّة.. وفي كلتا الحالتين يمكن القول إنّ خطة إحداث الانقلاب السياسي في لبنان بوساطة الحصار الاقتصادي واستغلال أزمات اللبنانيين الناتجة عن الحصار، لتطويق المقاومة ونزع سلاحها وفرض اتفاق لتحديد الحدود البحريّة يخدم الأطماع الصهيونية، انّ هذه الخطة الانقلابية أخفقت، ولهذا لجأت العواصم الغربية إلى استبدالها بنسخة أخرى تقضي بالعمل على محاولة تحقيق هذا الانقلاب في الانتخابات النيابية المقبلة عبر استغلال الأزمات وانفجار المرفأ وتقديم الدعم المالي للقوى والمجموعات التابعة للغرب، للفوز بأغلبية المقاعد في البرلمان بما يمكنها من إعادة إنتاج السلطة والسيطرة على مفاصل القرار التشريعيّ والتنفيذيّ للعمل على تنفيذ الأهداف الأميركية الغربية المذكورة آنفاً…
لهذا على اللبنانيين أن يدركوا جيداً مَن يقف وراء أزماتهم ومعاناتهم، وأن يعوا انّ مقاومتهم كانت ولا تزال وستبقى هي درعهم الواقي وضمانة أمنهم واستقرارهم، وحمايتهم من العدوانية والأطماع الصهيونية، وطريق خلاصهم من براثن الهيمنة الاستعمارية الغربية التي تسعى الى إخضاع لبنان وإعادته إلى زمن قوّته في ضعفه، حيث كان مستباحاً من قبل العدو الصهيونيّ…
Military Investigative Judge, Najat Abu Chakra, has issued an indictment against Israeli enemy collaborator Amer Fakhoury, and accused him of murder, attempted murder, torture and abduction of inmates in the former Khiam detention center, National News Agency correspondent reported on Tuesday.
If found guilty as charged, Fakhoury could face death penalty. His dossier has been referred to the Permanent Military Court.
مشهد تلك السيّدة الرافعة بيدها حبل المشنقة، أمام المحكمة العسكرية أمس، كان يلخص مطلب الذين اعتصموا هناك بالتزامن مع جلسة استجواب العميل عامر الفاخوري. هو اعتصام باسم الأسرى المحررين من السجون والمعتقلات الإسرائيلية. منهم مَن كان ينفرد بصحافي ليخبره عن تجربته مع التعذيب في المعتقل، ومنهم من كان يتكلم أمام الجميع، أمام وسائل النقل المباشر، فيما هناك من تعمّد رفع صوته بقوة ليصل إلى داخل أروقة المحكمة. يُريدون لصوتهم أن يصل.
ارتفع الصوت أكثر عندما عرفوا بمجيء وفد أميركي، يضمّ محامية أميركية، بغية الترافع عن العميل. قاضية التحقيق نجاة أبو شقرا لم تسمح بذلك. لا بدّ مِن موافقة نقابة المحامين في لبنان أولاً. مجرّد فكرة أن يأتي أحدهم إلى المحكمة، بنيّة الدفاع عن العميل، أمر استفزّ المعتصمين، فكيف إذا كان أميركيّاً؟ كل من احتشد أمام المحكمة كان متشائماً، إذ سرت شائعة عن نية بعدم توقيف العميل، خاصّة في ظلّ ما صرّح به وكيل الأسرى المحررين المحامي معن الأسعد من هناك:
«الإخبارات لم تصل من قبل النيابة العامة التمييزية إلى قاضية التحقيق، لكن أرى أن الطوق ضاق على رقبة العميل… التحقيق سيستمر وسيكون هناك جلسات أخرى».
وبعد نحو ساعتين، قررت القاضية إصدار مذكرة توقيف بحق الفاخوري، عارضة ما طلبه على النيابة العامة العسكرية لإبداء الرأي، على أن يحدَّد موعد جديد لاستجوابه. كان طلب العميل محدداً: حضور المحامية الأميركية. لا يصدر عنه أي شيء آخر. انتهى الاعتصام على خير، تنفس الحاضرون الصعداء، على أن يتابع الحراك بحسب موعد الاستجواب الذي سيُحدد لاحقاً.
إلى ذلك، صرّح رئيس كتلة الوفاء للمقاومة النائب محمد رعد، أمس، قائلاً:
«إن الخيانة ليست وجهة نظر كما يرى البعض، ونحن نملك من القانون والأحكام والإجراءات ما يمكننا من التصدي لهؤلاء».
بدوره، صرّح النائب الجديد في الكتلة نفسها، حسن عز الدين، معرباً عن أسفه «لوجود من يريد أن يشرّع أمن البلد الوطني للمخاطر مجدداً». من جهته، نوّه المؤتمر الشعبي اللبناني بتوقيف الفاخوري، مطالباً بـ
«كشف كل المتدخلين والمتورطين بتسهيل عودة العملاء الفارين ومعاقبتهم كشركاء لهؤلاء في خياناتهم الوطنية».
زياد أسود: توقيف الفاخوري سياسيّ لأن «سجلّه نظيف» بمرور الزمن
وخارج «الاجماع» السياسي على ضرورة أن ينال الفاخوري جزاءه، غرّد عضو تكتل «لبنان القوي»، زياد أسود، قائلاً إن توقيف الفاخوري سياسيّ، لأن «سجلّه نظيف» بمرور الزمن.

Moscow has reportedly moved to prevent Israeli airstrikes in Syria, with Russian President Vladimir Putin warning Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against the strikes.
Putin told Netanyahu that allowing Israeli strikes on Syrian military assets would undermine Moscow’s relations with Damascus, the Arabic edition of the UK-based Independent newspaper reported on Friday.
The report comes after Netanyahu met with Putin in the resort city of Sochi on Thursday to discuss “security coordination” in Syria.
According to an unnamed Russian source cited in the report, Moscow has also threatened to use its “fighter jets or the S-400 air defense system” in order to counter any Israeli aircraft striking Syria.
In August, Moscow stopped an airstrike on the strategic Qasioun region near Damascus, where a Syrian S-300 missile battery is said to be placed, according to the report.
Moscow allegedly prevented another airstrike later on a Syrian outpost in the southwestern province of Quneitra and a third in the western coastal province of Latakia.
The report comes as Syria has intercepted several Israeli missile attacks in the past month, casting doubt on the extent of Russian commitment to counter Israeli ambitions.
The Israeli regime has acknowledged repeatedly launching attacks against Syria in recent years, some of which have been carried out from Lebanese airspace.
Such aggressive moves have been viewed by observers as attempts to weaken the Damascus government as it increasingly gains the upper hand fighting terrorist groups which have plagued the country since 2011.
‘A failed meeting’
The Independent report also cited unnamed Israeli sources who described Netanyahu’s meeting with Putin as “a failure”, falling short of reducing any Syria policy disagreements with Moscow.
Israeli sources added that Israel airstrikes on Syria had “embarrassed” the Russians from failing to protect its allies.
During the “failed” meeting, Netanyahu had also called for Tel Aviv to be given “freedom of action” against Iran by Russia.
The Israeli prime minister had even sought to use the meeting to “present positive message of the cooperation between the two countries” for his election campaign but failed, the report wrote.
According to the Russian source, Putin’s disagreements with Netanyahu also went as far as Putin condemning Tel Aviv’s recent actions in Lebanon, with the Russian president saying that he “rejects the aggression towards Lebanon’s sovereignty.”
Israel launched a number of drone attacks into Lebanon last month.
Following the drone raids, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah’s secretary general, vowed in a televised speech that fighters of the movement would counter any further violation of the Lebanese airspace by Israeli drones, warning the Tel Aviv regime to immediately halt such breaches.
Last week, Hezbollah fired two anti-tank guided missiles at a moving Israeli armored vehicle at the Avivim base north of the occupied territories, killing and wounding its occupants.
Hezbollah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah stressed on Tuesday the axis of Resistance’s support to its leader and its heart, His Eminence Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei – Leader of Islamic Revolution.
Addressing hundreds of thousands of mourners commemorating Ashura on the 10th of Muharram, Sayyed Nasrallah renewed his party’s eternal pledge to the top cause of our nation, the Palestinian cause.
“We renew with the Palestinian people and Resistance our pledge that there is no choice away from resisting the “Israeli” occupation,” His Eminence said, reaffirming Hezbollah’“ eternal commitment to the Palestinian cause and to confront what is being planned in the ‘deal of the century’ .”
Moreover, he stated that “this stance costs us a lot but it is our commitment.”
He further deplored “Israeli” Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu’s desecration to the Holy Ibrahimi Mosque. “The Palestinian stance is the main pillar in the confrontation against the US-‘Israeli’ scheme. These people will protect their cause and holy sites.”
“We – in Hezbollah – reaffirm our commitment to the rights of the Palestinian people in Lebanon as honorable refugees, who must return to their homeland,” The Resistance Leader added.
Moving to the Yemeni arena, Sayyed Nasrallah lamented the fact that “the people of Yemen are the title of oppression and siege as [Imam] Hussein was in Karbala.”
“The war on the Yemeni people has turned into a futile war in light of the international community’s silence and the US-British partnership,” he underscored, pointing out that “the recent developments in southern Yemen form an evidence on the Saudi-Emirati aggression’s false allegations regarding protecting Yemen’s legitimacy.”
His Eminence once again renewed the call to an immediate end to the war on Yemen.
In parallel, Sayyed Nasrallah denounced he Bahraini regime’s actions, describing it a “a traitor that went far in normalizing with the “Israeli” enemy as well as in supporting the “Israeli” aggressions against the people of Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq and Syria.”
Addressing the peaceful Bahraini revolutionary people, His Eminence said: “You, in your peaceful revolution, are waging a jihad for the sake of Allah.”
On another level, he confirmed that “the unjust sanctions on the axis of resistance forms an aggression practiced by the US administration after the failure of the Zionist wars on the resistance.”
“If our people were oppressed by the sanctions, we must act differently and the state must act as well,” Sayyed Nasrallah emphasized, urging the Lebanese sides to open the file of sanctions because it has put the Lebanese economy under attack.”
In this context, he highlighted that “the government must defend the Lebanese and state institutions must not rush to execute the American desires in terms of sanctions.”
“The Lebanese resistance has been on the sanctions lists for years and this is not new. But
when this aggression expands to target others in Lebanon – banks that have nothing to do with Hezbollah – this needs a different approach. We must reevaluate and study our choices well,” His Eminence went on to say.
Regarding the recent “Israeli” attacks on Lebanon, Hezbollah Secretary General viewed that “the recent aggression against Dahyia [the southern suburbs of Beirut] through the bombed drones was a great one.
In addition, Sayyed Nasrallah hailed the united Lebanese official and popular stances in face of the dangerous “Israeli” aggression. “Today we are setting the equations and strengthening the deterrence that protects our country.”
According to His Eminence, “The invincible “Israeli” army turned to act in Hollywood movies. For the first time, the “Israeli” enemy is building a security zone inside occupied Palestine with a depth of 5 km.”
To the apartheid “Israeli” entity, Sayyed Nasrallah sent a sounding message: “If Lebanon is attacked, Hezbollah will respond to the aggression appropriately to defend Lebanon. Lebanon respects 1701 and Hezbollah is part of the government that respects this resolution but if “Israel” attacks, there will be no red lines at all.”
“Lebanon has imposed itself on world powers and everyone contacted it after the latest “Israeli” attack, prior to the resistance’s response and during the Hezbollah response,” Sayyed Nasrallah added, noting that “Lebanon must know that it is strong through the army-people-resistance equation and all countries in the world contacted our government to thwart us from retaliating to the “Israeli” aggression.”
On the Lebanese economic situation, he assured that “the situation is not hopeless and there is a possibility to address it if there is the necessary seriousness. The same as we discussed the previous state budget we will discuss the 2020 budget.”
“The principles that govern our stance will be the same. We refuse any new taxes on low-income citizens in any economic solutions in Lebanon. Instead of going to the pockets of the poor, let us search for the looted funds, and this should be the leading choice to address the economic situation,” His Eminence said.
On the regional scene, Sayyed Nasrallah rejected any war scheme against the Islamic Republic of Iran because it will ignite the region.
“We will not be neutral in the battle between the truth and falsehood and who thinks that the supposed war will be the end of the axis of resistance I tell them that it will result in the end of both “Israel” and the US domination in our region,” he clarified.
According to His Eminence, “Today, our Hussein is Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei and the Islamic Republic of Iran is the heart of the resistance’s axis.”
To Imam Khamenei, Sayyed Nasrallah said: “ We tell you as the companions of Imam Hussein said on the 10th night of Muharram, ‘We won’t leave you, O son of Hussein’.”

لكن الأهم بالنسبة للقيادات الأمنية الإسرائيلية هو نقل المعركة نحو الأجواء وهو نقطة التفوق «الوحيدة» التي تزخّم الحضور الإسرائيلي وترفع من مهابة آلته العسكرية. فـ»إسرائيل» وبكل وضوح هي «سيدة الأجواء» في المنطقة. فلا سلاح يضاهيها ولا مهمات توازي طلعاتها الجوية. واذا كان الاشتباك قد انتقل الى الجو فإن المأزق الإسرائيلي صار «كارثياً» كمن يتجرّد من نقطة قوته تدريجياً. فالمنطق العسكري يفرض على الخبراء في تل أبيب عدم التوقف عند فكرة إسقاط طائرة مسيّرة من هنا او هناك، بل يفرض البحث في ما يملكه حزب الله لمواجهة قطع الجو الإسرائيلية الحربية. فمن يمتلك القدرة على إسقاط طائرات استطلاع هو بدون شك متجه نحو إسقاط طائرات مقاتلة في المرحلة المقبلة. كما أن حزب الله وعملاً بتحالفاته الإقليمية والدولية وبمنطق الأمور الذي اخذت نحو تشارك في الميدان السوري والعراقي واليمني فإن مسألة امتلاكه سلاحاً كاسراً لطائرات الجو هو بديهي اليوم. لكن المعادلة السابقة لم تكن فيها اولوية حزب الله الكشف عن قدراته الجوية، ولهذا السبب لطالما أرادت «إسرائيل» إيقاع الحزب بفِخاخ للكشف عما يملك لتبني على الشيء مقتضاه، لكنه لم يقع فيها ولم يكن أيضاً أمين عام حزب الله في أي وقت من الاوقات مفرطاً بمعلومات مجانية لـ»إسرائيل»، خصوصاً من هذا النوع في معرض حديثه.
وبطبيعة الحال لا بد من النظر الى حليف حزب الله الأساسي اي إيران وقدراتها الدفاعية الجوية وقدراتها العسكرية التي استطاع الحرس الثوري عبرها إسقاط واحدة من أقوى الطائرات المسيرة في العالم منذ أشهر قليلة في محافظة هرمزكان في جنوب إيران. والطائرة من طراز غلوبال هوك تصنعها الشركة الأميركية نورثروب غرونمان وقد أُسقطت في منطقة «كوه مبارك» بعد أن اخترقت أجواء الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية وقد أعلنت القيادة المركزية للقوات الأميركية حينها أن طائرة استطلاع تابعة للبحرية الأميركية أُسقطت بصاروخ إيراني أرض – جو فوق مضيق هرمز. هذه الطائرة التي تبلغ قيمتها أكثر من مئتي مليون دولار وعددها المحدود جداً لدى الأميركيين قلبت الموازين في مسألة شن حرب أميركية على إيران لأن الكشف عن هذه المقدرات الإيرانية «المتطورة» جعل من واشنطن تتريث في اتخاذ أي قرار من هذا النوع.
بالعودة للتفوّق الجوي فإن الأمر نفسه والقلق نفسه سيراود «إسرائيل» في الأيام المقبلة، لأنه لا يوجد أي ضمانة بان إيران لم تسلم حزب الله صواريخ قادرة على إسقاط طائرات إسرائيلية مقاتلة في اي حرب مقبلة. فكيف بالحال وأن «إسرائيل» تعرف ان للحزب مقدرات استطلاعية متطوّرة وهو الذي أرسل طائرة استطلاع فوق الأراضي المحتلة منذ ثلاث سنوات تقريباً عُرفت باسم «أيوب» وقد دخلت الأراضي المحتلة وعادت إلى الأجواء اللبنانية سالمة بدون أن تلحظها المضادات الإسرائيلية حتى وعليه فإن حرب الأجواء انتقلت للمرة الأولى لتصبح هي العنصر المريب بالنسبة لـ»إسرائيل»، وكيفية التعاطي معها يجعلها مكبلة أكثر من أي وقت مضى.
إسقاط مسيّرة فوق منطقة رامية الجنوبية اللبنانية هو رسالة مباشرة بأن على الإسرائيليين توقع من اليوم أن حزب الله باشر بأعماله بمراقبة ما يتحرّك بالأجواء اللبنانية، وإذا كان على «إسرائيل» تدارك الأمر، فإنها ستضع أمامها سلفاً فكرة الخسائر المحققة من أي طائرة مسيّرة أو طائرة استطلاع متطوّرة تحلّق فوق لبنان، لأن نسبة عودتها آمنة ستكون خمسين بالمئة بعد اليوم، لهذا فإن تل أبيب ستضع بحسبانها حكماً وبشكل منطقي الخيار «الأسوأ»، وهو إن اي دخول لمسيرات إسرائيلية للأجواء اللبنانية قد قطع لها حزب الله ما يشبه one way ticket فهي لن تعود الى مراكزها سالمة. وبالتالي الخسائر الإسرائيلية «المحققة» صارت بحكم المتوقعة بالنسبة للأجهزة الأمنية الإسرائيلية ليبقى «المربك جداً بالنسبة لتل ابيب» هو العمل الاستخباري الذي صار مقيّداً بشكل كبير من الجو فوق لبنان، لا بل ربما يعرض «إسرائيل» للانكشاف، لان احتمال أن يسقط حزب الله مسيرات بدون ان تتمكن «إسرائيل» من تفجيرها هو أيضاً احد الاحتمالات الورادة وبحال وصلت الى ايدي الحزب حيث سيتمّ تحليلها وكشف مواطن اهتمام الإسرائيليين بالعموم.
إقدام حزب الله على اسقاط مسيرة هو بداية اعلان أكيدة عن مرحلة جديدة من التوازن الذي كان يحكم عدوين يعرفان بعضهما جيداً، ولعل الرسائل بينهما اليوم التي تبدأ عند الحدود اللبنانية ولا تنتهي عند الحدود السورية فالعراقية وربما اليمنية، خصوصاً ضمن تبادل السلاح والأهداف بين المحور الواحد أكبر من أن يحللها مراقبون عن بُعد، لكن وبالمحصلة أدخل حزب الله الأجواء اللبنانية ضمن معادلته الجديدة وأدخل معها جرعة جديدة من الردع لحماية البلاد.
On September 9, Hezbollah announced that it had shot down an Israeli unmanned aerial vehicle over the village of Ramyeh in southern Lebanon. Hezbollah added that the UAV is now in its hands.
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed in a statement that the UAV had been lost claiming that it was “on a routine mission in northern Israel” but somehow “fell into Lebanese territory.” Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus, a spokesperson for the IDF, declined to comment on the specific nature of the UAV’s activities. However, he said that “there is no risk of breach of information”.
The development followed claims by the IDF that overnight into September 9 Shia militias operating under command of the Qods Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched several rockets towards Israel from the countryside of the Syrian capital, Damascus.
On September 8, several explosions rocked near the Syrian city of Al Bukamal, located on the border with Iraq. The incident reportedly happened in the area where Iranian-backed militias are deployed. Pro-Israeli media outlets immediately speculated that the explosions were a result of Israeli strikes and killed at least 18 Iranian-backed fighters. No evidence to confirm these claims was provided. The situation remains unclear.
The Israeli military political leadership openly exploits the current tensions across the Middle East to achieve own political goals. In fact, Tel Aviv is interested in the existence of the so-called Iranian-Hezbollah threat because it helps to justify Israeli regional policy and gain more and more financial and military support from the Trump administration. In own turn, the Israeli attitude serves as a direct confirmation of the official rhetoric of Hezbollah and Iran regarding ‘the Zionist aggression’ in the region. Therefore, Iranian and Hezbollah influence on Shia groups across the Middle East are growing.
This may be compared to the conflict Syria, in which the US and Israel played an anti-Iranian card backing various radical groups and even striking supposed Iranian targets. Nonetheless, Iranian and Hezbollah positions in Syria were strengthened because of this policy. A new round of limited escalation in the region may lead to similar consequences.
May 9, 2019, marks the beginning of the era of downing Israeli drones in Lebanon in response to the Zionist attacks.
In a statement, Hezbollah’s Media Relations Office said the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon “repelled with appropriate weapons an Israeli drone as it crossed the Palestinian-Lebanese border towards the southern town of Ramieh.”
“The drone was downed in the outskirts of the town and now it is in the hands of the Resistance fighters,” the statement added.
According to Al-Manar sources, 12 Zionist soldiers tried to follow the drone into the Lebanese territories in order to regain it, but that the presence of a Lebanese military unit as well as a number of locals in the area deterred them.
Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah had promised to confront Israeli Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) in the Lebanese skies.

According to Israel’s military censor, there were no Israelis so much as scracthed by Hezbollah’s Kornet missiles, but only 2 days later, an Israeli soldier was severely injured and almost died because of an alledged ‘rock-throwing game’. Sounds like the lousiest cover-up ever…

The (political) part of my speech will be devoted to the latest developments, that is Hezbollah’s retaliation, the different reactions to it and (everything that happened yesterday and today).
First, we express our thanks to God Most High and Exalted for the success, the victory, and the accomplishments He has bestowed upon us, because all the benefits we enjoy come from His beneficence, His goodness, and His mercy. We praise Him and implore His forgiveness.
I must then address, at the beginning of my speech, the Resistance, the Mujahideen (fighters in the way of God), be them leaders, soldiers or persons in charge, who since 8 days, since Sunday (August 25) to this day, until last night or until this morning at least, were on the battlefield, at every time, along the Lebanese border with occupied Palestine, and ready (to hit the first valuable target). It is by their presence, their state of alert, their courage, their efficiency and their sacrifices that we realized and confirmed all the equations that dissuade the enemy and protect our country.
These brothers, since the first hours after my Sunday (August 25) speech, whether under the sun or under the stars, in the heat of daylight or the freshness of the night, and in spite of the maximum alert of the Israeli enemy, of his radars and (surveillance) drones, as well as all his (ultra-sophisticated) technical means, remained in front of the enemy, exposed (to strikes), present on the ground (and not hidden in bunkers), ready to give their blood. After God the Most High and the Exalted, it is they whom we must thank, these noble and very dear brothers.
In the same way, I must thank the Lebanese army, which remained vigilant on the whole length of the border, ready to face any aggression. I also express our thanks to our beloved people, our kith and kin, and our beloved families, especially those who are in the villages and regions closest to the border, who have spent all these days living their daily & normal lives, and who have followed, supported and congratulated our retaliation, and expressed their joy and pride in the success of the Resistance.
Likewise, we naturally thank anew the (Lebanese) Presidents (of the Republic, of the Council of Ministers and of the Parliament) and government officials, and all those who have clearly and firmly taken a stance (alongside the Resistance). I declare in truth that they have followed the events until the last moments, and have assumed their national responsibility.
I particularly thank the media, who have made great efforts to follow the evolution of the situation, supporting the actions of the Resistance and showing the situation as it really was, thwarting the enemy’s attempts to hide the facts (claiming that Hezbollah didn’t cause any casualties). As I will explain, our operation did not take place only yesterday in the afternoon, but extended from my speech (on August 25) to the military operation itself. All of this has been closely monitored by the media, and I thank them all, especially the reporters on the ground, who sometimes put themselves in danger in order to show the situation in a strong and eloquent way [the Israeli Army had completely deserted the area, allowing some Al-Manar, Al-Mayadeen and Russia Today Arabic journalists to infiltrate Israeli territory and even enter abandoned military bases]. We also thank all the analysts and commentators who provided the public with truthful, relevant and eloquent explanations.
I did not prepare a list of all those I had to thank, so in advance, I apologize to all those I may have forgotten, which will dispense me from mentioning them later [Laughter]. We thank everyone.
Secondly, I will quickly assess what has happened so that I can draw clear conclusions. What happened started during the night from Saturday to Sunday (August 25), and consisted of two events. The first event was the Israeli airstrike against the city of ‘Aqraba in the suburbs of Damascus, which led to the martyrdom of our dear brothers Yasser Dhaher and Hassan Zbib. And a few hours later, the second event was the operation of the two suicide drones in the southern suburbs of Beirut. I want to clarify something in this regard: it is common knowledge that the first suicide drone was neutralized (pelted with stones) and fell to the ground, and therefore failed to achieve what it was sent for. I add today that the second suicide drone, which was also sent to destroy a target, also failed in its mission: the target that this drone tried to destroy was not hit. The Israelis know well what they have come to strike, and I have no reason to reveal it, but I announce to the enemy that this operation failed. And it is also a blessing of God the Most High and Exalted.
Since the first moments, we have announced, especially in my Sunday speech, that we would not remain silent about these two aggressions, that we would not accept that new equations are imposed (to our disadvantage), and that we wouldn’t let the achievements of our July 2006 victory be squandered. And that’s why we said we would retaliate with certainty to these two attacks.
Our response has taken two aspects. The first aspect of our response took place on the ground, and across the international border with occupied Palestine, with the territory of Palestine occupied in 1948. And the second aspect of our response concerns Israeli drones in the skies of Lebanon.
Regarding the first aspect, the direct operation on the ground, we have stated publicly and clearly… I will present the overall situation to highlight our strengths, the strengths of Lebanon, and the points of weakness, humiliation, fear and failure of the enemy. We announced publicly that we would retaliate from Lebanon, from anywhere on the Lebanese border (with occupied Palestine), and perhaps even in the depths (of Israel). We warned the enemy that he had to expect us (any time) from now on. This is a strength point of the Resistance. We could have remained silent, refrained from threatening (Israel of an imminent retaliation), not revealing our intentions, keeping quiet as we say, for 1, 2 or 3 days, then hit them by surprise. The military know that one of the most important aspects of a military operation is the element of surprise. But we have not done so, because our fight against the Zionist entity has a major psychological component, affecting the morale and soul of the enemy (which we strive to undermine). So we told them from the beginning to wait for us, because we were coming. In itself, it is an enormous challenge issued by the Resistance, (but the enemy did not dare to take up the gauntlet).
If we consider the overall situation, in our eyes, everything that has happened since my (August 25) speech until yesterday, and which I will detail, is a (humiliating) punishment inflicted on the enemy, a deterrence of the enemy, a (successful) confrontation with the enemy. It is an operation composed of several layers that add up. Part of it is psychological, part of it touches the morale, part of it takes place on the battlefield, a part consists of an (anti-tank) missile launch, but all this is part of the same operation of a multiple punishment of the enemy, consisting of different layers.
If we consider the situation since last Sunday, since my August 25 speech, and briefly summarize the facts, what happened?
1 – The border has been deserted throughout its length. For Israel, there was no longer any distinction between the blue line, the international border, and this or that disputed piece of land in one direction or the other: the entire border, whether it is indicated by a wall or barbed wire, was completely abandoned by Israel, and it was impossible to find any soldier on the whole length of the border. Neither soldiers, nor these vehicles that regularly move on the dirt tracks or asphalt could be seen along the border. We did not see anyone nor anything. It is only today that they began to reappear, our operation having ended yesterday.
2 – All positions close to the borders have been completely abandoned. They did not even hole up in their bases, no, they completely abandoned them. They escaped. By God, it’s more than we expected. I told them to hole up, but they literally fled.

Entire barracks were abandoned, like the one whose name has now become famous, the barracks of Avivim. A large military base, including a command center occupied by a large number of officers and soldiers, etc., etc., etc., was completely deserted, as a journalist (from Russia Today) showed: she went in and walked the premises, finding them completely empty. There was absolutely no one! Several barracks and military positions have been abandoned at the border, and sometimes even in the depths (of Israel).
3 – At a depth of 5 kilometers in some areas, and 7 kilometers in others, special measures, severe restrictions, evacuations and travel bans have been put in place. Even in the settlements, as we saw on television, cameras roamed the settlements from morning till night and did not meet a soul: no pedestrians, no motorists, no motorcyclists, no bicycles, no open shops, nothing. Everyone stood still. They were all holed up in their houses, and the doors of the shelters were open.
4 – Very severe (security) measures were taken everywhere in Israel, with an unprecedented state of alert. All the Iron Dome units that they could find and bring to the North, they brought and deployed them to face (possible) missile fire. All their anti-aircraft defense capabilities were activated, as well as all their means of dealing with the missiles or drones that Hezbollah could have launched towards occupied Palestine. Of course, we have drones (in quality and quantity), it’s not a secret and they know it well.
5 – During these 8 days, their combat units were on alert, on a war footing and deployed: I speak of several divisions, several air bases, several naval bases, etc.
If we consider the general situation that prevailed on the Israeli side during these last days, it was clear that this Israel, which to this day presents itself as endowed with the most powerful army of the region, the first army of the region, this arrogant, despotic, infatuated and tyrannical state, which once terrorized millions and hundreds of millions of people (through its wars and threats of aggression), for eight days, the whole world saw it frightened, fearful, hidden, holed up, and having completely deserted the Lebanese border on a width of at least 5 kilometers. It’s an absolute shame and humiliation. It is a demonstration of weakness. This is one manifestation of the fact that Israel is weaker than a spider’s web. And that’s part of the punishment (we inflicted on Israel). Before we retaliated with our military operation, some people were (ironically) asking: where is your response? But (this terror situation on the Israeli side) was already a punishment and a retaliation.
On the other hand, on our side, the Lebanese army has not left the border anywhere, remaining in all its positions. Likewise, the Resistance was present everywhere it was supposed to be. Our good Lebanese people was normally moving in border areas, whether in villages or fields [Israeli settlers were forbidden to approach “their” fields in occupied Palestine], and led a completely normal life.
So we have a scene (of normal life) on our side, on our territory and in our villages, a scene of endurance, strength, assurance, confidence, certainty, dignity and nobility, be it Lebanon, its people, its army, its State or its Resistance. Such was the scene on our side, (compare it with the spectacle of terror and desolation on the other side).
Similarly, to properly assess the situation, it should be noted that yesterday, the Resistance conducted its operation in broad daylight. The military is well aware of what it means to conduct an operation in broad daylight (risk of detection, of elimination, etc.), so close to the border, while the (Israeli surveillance) drones were flying in the sky, and while their combat helicopters were ready to come and hit us. Our fighters were exposed to danger in broad daylight because we did not act at night. It is a deliberate choice we made not to act at night, for reasons that I will not bother to mention (show of force, etc.). We made the decision to act imperatively by day, and we communicated it to the brothers in charge of the operation on the ground, and it is also one of the reasons for the delay of the operation, because if we had acted at night, we would have had more targets and opportunities.
This Resistance did not hit directly at the border – anyway, there were no targets at the border – but at some depth (2 kilometers). And despite all the Israeli measures, despite all their precautions and despite all the dummy targets they have scattered everywhere (empty vehicles or occupied by dummies dressed as soldiers), a considerable amount of military vehicles and tanks placed here and there, which were all calling for our strikes to put an end to this unbearable wait for the enemy, despite all this, the Resistance has patiently waited, watched and monitored, ensuring the validity of information and checking all the data, and when a valuable target finally showed up, we hit it and touched it with certainty. Today, the whole world was able to see the video of the operation broadcast in the media. What happened clearly demonstrates our boldness, our courage, our precision and our sense of responsibility.
O my brothers and sisters, one of the most important points about what happened yesterday, and whatever the Israeli attempts to minimize its losses, is the very fact that the operation was conducted. The most important aspect of the operation, even before its success and its results, is to have been accomplished! We had the courage to do it! For the past 7 days, in the media, there is not a single Israeli official who has not said that if we opened fire, shot a missile, killed, wounded or attacked, the reaction would be devastating and could lead to war, etc. We have heard all conceivable threats. And the most severe are those that were expressed through the diplomatic channels: if one was to believe them, Israel would not tolerate the slightest shot in its direction, would respond disproportionately and destroy the country, returning it to the Stone Age. A considerable operation to terrorize us was conducted by the media and diplomatic channels (United States, Great Britain, France, etc.). But I assure you, O my brothers and sisters, and in all sincerity: not only Hezbollah hasn’t flinched, but none of the Lebanese officials with whom we spoke trembled! Nobody flinched! And Lebanon remained strong in its attachment (to its right to defend itself), and its faith in our retaliation response and the legitimacy of our retaliation. The very fact that we made this operation is a success in itself!
I come to the most important point to which all should pay attention, because it is on it that I will base the conclusion of this whole episode of confrontation, and the new equation in force. In the past, when we were attacked, where did we respond? In the Shebaa Farms, inside the Shebaa Farms. Because there are Israeli military positions inside the Shebaa farms. The traps we laid for Israeli tanks and vehicles were placed on occupied Lebanese territory. The rest of the border, that is to say the border of Lebanon with the territory of Palestine occupied in 1948, and which the enemy considers as its official and indisputable border, its usurping State and its entity, the very fact of touching this border was considered by the enemy for decades as one of the largest red lines. Israel could not tolerate anyone allowing himself to touch the barbed wire delimiting the border, sending any drone flying over its territory, firing in the air, or throwing a grenade at it. No way! Israel responded violently to any such violation, for it was a red line in their eyes! What happened yesterday is that the main red line of Israel for decades has been shattered by the Islamic Resistance! That’s what happened yesterday.

It’s not a red line anymore. It’s over. This period is well and truly over, regardless of what the Israelis can say and claim.
And even tastier, this Israel, which normally [Laughter] responds to any shot, any projectile and any grenade by air strikes, assassinations and massive destruction, yesterday, Israel has made considerable efforts to absorb the blow at all costs. And even their incendiary and phosphorous strikes (against empty lands and forests) were mostly defensive, and aimed at building a smokescreen to protect themselves from further strikes, as they imagined that the Resistance was going to strike again the barracks of Avivim and other positions. But they wanted to get over with it and especially not escalate, being ready to conclude a truce at any price.
What is the result of all this? First, we confirmed and even reinforced the deterrence equation. If Netanyahu wanted to change the equation in his favor, we confirmed it and even reinforced it in our favor. Our deterrent force is now greater. We have increased it by one step. He feared a retaliation from us, but thought we would respect some red lines. But we said and demonstrated that we no longer have any red line. Since Netanyahu tried to change the rules of engagement, our response was to break absolutely all the red lines (of Israel). We have passed from a stage where our responses were launched exclusively against (a thin band of) occupied Lebanese territory, namely the Shebaa Farms and the Kfar Chouba Hills, to a stage where our response directly strikes the territory of occupied Palestine! It’s something new. It’s completely new. And we do not have to hit the border area. We can strike at 1, 2 or 5 kilometers, or, if need be, far more distant points, in the full depth of occupied Palestine.
What is the message we sent? This is where our accomplishment and success lie. The message is clear: if you attack us, all your borders, all your soldiers and all your settlements, whether at the border, deep or at the very extremity of your entity, will be threatened and may be targeted by our response, absolutely and categorically. This does not pose us any problem. And the courage and boldness demonstrated by the Resistance yesterday will be found in the future by actions much more courageous, bolder, stronger and more important. Such is the new equation.
Today, I want to say this to the Israelis: Listen carefully to what Netanyahu did by his imbecility and pettiness, and remember this date, September 1, 2019. Sunday, September 1, 2019 is the beginning of a new stage of the situation on the Lebanese border with occupied Palestine: as regards the defense of Lebanon, its sovereignty, its dignity, its security and its people, there is no longer any red line!

I now come to the second point. I already started to mention it on Sunday (August 25) when I declared that from now on, we would work on a new file on which we had avoided to intervene during all the past years, namely the Lebanese skies and its permanent violation by Israeli drones. I explained that it was only internal Lebanese considerations that led us to leave this issue aside, and that we constantly called upon the Lebanese State to solve this problem. But it has not been resolved. We have therefore established, and it is now irrevocable in the deterrence equation, that the Lebanese have the right to defend their territory, their skies, their waters, their people, their security and their sovereignty, and that we would take care of defending them. And so we opened a new field of action, namely to confront the Israeli drones in our skies. I say nothing more than that. I speak of the Lebanese skies. We have established and announced it clearly. The decision is made, and implementing this choice is now in the hands of our fighters on the ground, as for the first point. Since August 25, the decision to retaliate against Israel was taken and was in the hands of the fighters on the ground, to whom we announced that we were in no hurry: we wanted a clean operation, without any loss on our side, and that would restore the deterrence equation in our favor. The opportunity arose, they seized it and we re-established and strengthened the deterrence equation.
Today, with regard to the fight against Israeli drones, the same is true: the decision is made, and everything is now in the hands of our combatants on the ground. And I already explained how we would behave, what was our vision, etc., so I do not need to repeat myself [Hezbollah does not commit to shooting down all the drones, because that may disclose and / or exhaust all of its anti-aircraft defenses, but will act wisely and judiciously depending on the circumstances]. Tomorrow, someone will tell us, when the first drone is shot down – and this can happen at any time –, that we are putting the stability of the country in danger, pushing the situation towards a military escalation, etc. But it will be useless. Whoever wants, within the international community, especially the countries that contacted us before Sunday, Sunday and during the Sunday operation, I say to them now: whoever cares about the stability of Lebanon and the region must speak with the Israelis and tell them that the time of the violation of Lebanon’s skies with impunity is over. This time is over. There will be no more tolerance and we will no longer look the other way. Hezbollah will no longer allow the sovereignty and the skies of Lebanon to be violated. As for how we deal with it, it’s a decision that’s in our hands. But it’s our right. No matter how long it takes, it’s our right, and the way we act is just a detail. Of course, that’s part of our response.
Today, I declare that because of the death of our two brothers killed in Syria, and the two suicide drones in Beirut, our response began on Sunday, continued yesterday and will continue via the fight against drones. That’s what we decided. Naturally, we come out stronger from this episode of confrontation, with a stronger position. Netanyahu wanted to overturn the rules of engagement in Israel’s favor, and we stopped him. He wanted to break the balance of deterrence, and we strengthened it in our favor. This is the result, and that is the conclusion.
Anyway, the Israelis must know that all this was caused by the stupidity of this man, who has only one idea in mind, to win the elections at all costs in order to escape justice for the many corruption cases in which he is involved.
So we can say that this new stage of confrontation is over from the point of view of the new equation that it has founded. And in the future, the fight against drones will continue. And in case of aggression against Lebanon, there will no longer be any red line at the international borders and in the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948, to which will henceforth extend all our retaliations, which will no longer be confined to the Shebaa farms. All the limits have been removed, and everything is now clear.
I renew my thanks to God and to our fighters, whose response has confirmed and strengthened the equations, prevented the rules of engagement from being violated in favor of the enemy, preserved the achievements of the July 2006 war, as well as the dignity, the honor and the pre-eminence of Lebanon vis-a-vis Israel.

Hezbollah announced early Monday it had shot down an Israeli drone after crossing the Lebanese airspace, fulfilling the Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah’s promise to confront Israeli Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) in the Lebanese skies.
In a statement, Hezbollah’s Media Relations Office said the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon “confronted with suitable weapons an Israeli drone as it crossed the Palestinian-Lebanese border towards the southern town of Ramieh.”
“The drone was downed in the outskirts of the town and now it is in the Resistance’s hand,” the statement added.
In an early strike on August 25, 2019 two explosive-laden Israeli drones fell down in Beirut’s southern suburb (Dahiyeh), hitting Hezbollah’s media center in Muawwad. The attacks, described by Sayyed Nasrallah as “very very dangerous” was preceded by Israeli strike which targeted Hezbollah post in Syria’s Damascus, killing two of the Lebanese Resistance fighters.
Tackling the event in that day (August 25), Sayyed Nasrallah vowed that Hezbollah will retaliate to Israeli aggression in Lebanon and Syria.
خلال ساعات قليلة، شرع العدو في تنفيذ خطة تدرّب عليها سابقاً، لإخلاء كل مواقعه ومراكزه على طول المساحة التي يعتقد أنها هدف مفترض لعمل المقاومين. وعندما أصدر الأمر بذلك، لم يكن متساهلاً في تنفيذ دقيق. لكنّ قيادة جيش الاحتلال لم تكن معنية بتكثيف الضغط على الجنود والمستوطنين لالتزام الأوامر، كان يكفي سماع هؤلاء كلام السيد حسن نصر الله، حتى يتصرفوا من تلقاء أنفسهم، بما يتناسب عملياً مع قرار قيادتهم بالاختفاء عن الشاشة.
خلال وقت قياسي، عمد العدو الى إخلاء مساحات طويلة مقابل لبنان من كل المظاهر العسكرية. بدا لوهلة أنه يقوم بتجربة على تنفيذ قرار كالذي يصدر عادة من مجلس الامن، ولكنه يخص أعداء إسرائيل. مثل حالة لبنان، حيث يفترض القرار 1701 أن لا يكون المقاومون موجودين على طول الحدود مع فلسطين وبعمق كبير. لكنّ واقع الحال خلال أسبوع، أن العدو هو من قام بعملية الإخلاء، والاختباء خلف المدنيين، واتخاذ سياراتهم ومزارعهم وبيوتهم ومتاجرهم دروعاً لقوات الجيش التي باتت حصانتهم تفرض عليهم خلع البزة العسكرية، تماماً كعناصر ميليشيا ألزمهم القرار الرسمي بإخلاء مواقعهم لمصلحة الدولة، حتى إن العدو تمنى خلال هذا الاسبوع لو أن القوات الدولية كانت موجودة عنده، لكان احتمى بجنودها وسياراتها ودورياتها.
القرار الميداني من قبل قيادة العدو بتصفير الاهداف العسكرية على طول الحدود، وبعمق يتفاوت بين خمسة وسبعة كيلومترات، تحول عملياً الى تصفير لكل أشكال الحياة هناك. المستوطنون الذين تراجع حضورهم بقوة خلال العقد الأخير في تلك المناطق الحدودية، كان ينقصهم أن يهرب الجنود من مواقعهم، حتى شعروا بأنهم متروكون لمصيرهم. ولو أنهم كانوا أكثر اطمئناناً لأن المقاومة في لبنان لا تتجاسر على مدنيين. لكن برنامج الحظر الذي شمل اتصالاتهم ولقاءاتهم وأنشطتهم، حتى لا يثيروا انتباه العدو، جعلهم يفضّلون الابتعاد أصلاً عن تلك المنطقة. وإذا كان في لبنان من يثق، بأن العدو لن يقدم على تفجير كبير رداً على أي عملية عسكرية، فإن تهديدات قادة العدو بالويل والثبور، إنما أصابت هؤلاء المستوطنين، الذين يعرفون أن جيشهم قوي على المدنيين فقط، وأنهم سيدفعون ثمن فعلة الجنود. ولذلك، بادروا الى التماهي مع قرار تصفير الأهداف العسكرية بأن عمدوا الى تصفير الحياة في هذه المنطقة. صار هؤلاء يخشون أن ينكشف أمر الجنود الذين يتحركون بلباس مدني، أو يستخدمون سيارات مدنية للتحرك، وصارت خشيتهم أكبر من أن يكتشف حزب الله هذه الحيلة، وأن يعمد الى ضربهم فيصيب المستوطنين بدلاً من الجنود، ففضّلوا الابتعاد. ومثلما فهموا من إجراءات جيشهم أن حزب الله يستعد لضربة ما، فهموا أيضاً أن حزب الله أنهى عمليته عندما قرر الجنود العودة الى مهامهم الاصلية، مخلّفين أضراراً ستكون على لائحة طلبات رؤساء المجالس المحلية خلال الاسابيع المقبلة.

هكذا يتصرف من أصابه الردع في صميمه.
أن تكون مردوعاً، يعني أن تكون خائفاً من كل شيء حولك. لا تثق بنفسك ولا بمن يجاورك ولا بمن يفترض به أن يحميك.
أن تكون مردوعاً، يعني أن تكون مدركاً أن هامش الخطأ عندك يضيق يوماً بعد يوم، وأن قدرتك جرى حدّها حتى تتفلت من القواعد والتصرّف من موقع اللامبالاة.
أن تكون مردوعاً، يعني أن قوة الحماية لم تعد تجدي الآن، وأن تفاخرك بعملك الاستباقي صار من أيام الزمن الجميل الذي مضى.
أن تكون مردوعاً، يعني أن تتسمّر أمام الشاشة، منتظراً البلاغ العسكري من عدوّك، ليقول لك متى يحين وقت خروجك الى الشمس.
أن تكون مردوعاً، عندما ترى في الجهة المقابلة دخاناً وناراً، وخلفهما ناس مثلك، يقفون ويصفّقون ويهلّلون، وليسوا بخائفين من شيء.
أن تكون مردوعاً، عندما تلمس أن الارض التي قبالتك، تحمل في بطنها زرعاً مختلفاً، وأشجارها تثمر ما هو أكثر قوة وبأساً من نتاج البساتين.
أن تكون مردوعاً، هو أن تبدأ الآن فصلاً جديداً من حياة ترتبط تفاصيلها بجرس إنذار، يأتيك من خلف الحدود، لا من مركز الجيش أو الشرطة. وأن تبدأ منذ اليوم بالبحث عن وسائل حماية ذاتية لك، ولا تتّكل على جيش ودولة يهرب جنودها بناءً على خطاب!
هذه هي نتيجة مواجهة الأسبوع الماضي، ومع الأيام، سننتظر جميعاً حصاداً من نوع مختلف، حيث القدرة على المناورة أعلى بكثير، إلا في حال قرّر العدو ترك سمائنا لطيورنا فقط!
Hezbollah is preparing to down an Israeli drone in the coming days, after leaving time for Israeli politicians and media to increase their criticism and attacks on Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu, accused of undermining Israel’s vital deterrence strategy in force since 1955.
The Secretary General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, has decided to make his own contribution to the forthcoming Israeli elections, expected on September 18, by backing the failure of Netanyahu’s candidacy. Hezbollah achieved the first part of its two-part plan by hitting a military vehicle last Sunday on the 3.8 km road between Yiron and Avivim. The attack caused the destruction of the Israeli vehicle and inflicted casualties among the five soldiers inside- notwithstanding the Israeli denial of casualties. The hit was filmed by Hezbollah’s cameras and shows the firing of two anti-tank Kornet guided missiles.
The attack came as retaliation against Israel’s violation of UN resolution 1701 which in its first article stipulates “the immediate cessation by Israel of all offensive military operations”. Indeed, Israel sent two suicide drones last month to blow-up a Hezbollah military asset in a suburb of Beirut, after killing two Hezbollah members in a direct targeted killing in Syria. That triggered an overt threat by Sayyed Nasrallah to hit back, which gave Israel ample time to take counter-measures. Israel deserted its military positions all along more than 100 kilometers of the UN blue-line separating Lebanon and Israel, to the extent of 4 to 5 kilometers and more. This was interpreted as an admission of cowardice by the Israeli Army, shaking its reputation as the “eighth strongest army in the world.” This hide and seek followed a televised threat by a “non-state actor”. Hezbollah doesn’t have tanks or jets in Lebanon but its guerrilla skills gained through decades of experience, in particular in the Syrian war, have transformed it into a an organised, strong, “non-regular” army.
Well-informed sources indicate that
“Israel deserted their military barracks and all positions along the Lebanese borders for fear of being bombed by Hezbollah’s rockets, notably the Burkan (Volcano) that can carry over 1000 kg of explosive and cause a large number of casualties”.
Sayyed Nasrallah is striking a painful chord by highlighting one of the most strategic foundations of the state of Israel, which the current Prime Minister has failed to uphold. It is one of the principles of Israel’s existence to achieve military superiority, maintain disproportionate military responses, impose escalation dominance and deterrence, and raise the “cost of Israeli blood” to a level untenable for any enemy population. These are the key principles introduced by Moshe Dayan and by the first prime Minister of Israel, David Ben-Gurion, also said:
“We should be prepared to go on the offensive with the aim of smashing Lebanon”.
This objective seems far-fetched today, due to Netanyahu’s blind personal ambition for re-election. The Israeli Prime Minister targeted Syria hundreds of times without achieving any strategic objectives. He did not manage to remove Iran from Syria; on the contrary, the Syrian government is more linked to Iran than ever. He didn’t achieve the destruction of Hezbollah’s military capabilities (as it happened, a couple of Kornet missiles were sufficient to shake Israel’s image, and a simple threat on a television forced the Israeli army to abandon defense of its borders). The former Israeli Chief of Staff General Rafael Eitan said once:
“When we have settled the land all the Arab will be able to do about it will be to scurry around like drugged cockroaches in a bottle.”
It seems Hezbollah, unlike Syria and Iraq, has confounded Israel’s expectations and has stood up to this vision of the future in a robust manner.
Netanyahu went to Iraq to hit Iran’s allies but achieved nothing but blowing up a few among hundreds of warehouses, creating a clear and serious menace to US forces established in Iraq.
US President Donald Trump can do little now to save his close friend and advisor the Israeli Prime Minister.
The US can’t fight Netanyahu’s war of election for him, nor can it prevent Israel from shaking under the blows of Hezbollah. Netanyahu walked on the edge of the abyss to boost his image but now he has faltered. Israel will remember not how he hit Syria and Iraq, but how its deterrence has been damaged and its reputation shaken by Netanyahu’s ill-considered actions and responses.

يُطبّقُ الكيان الإسرائيلي منذ استيلائه على كامل فلسطين المحتلة بين 1948 و1967 نظرية القتال الهجومي على أراضي الدول العربية المجاورة، فيحتلّ قسماً منها مثيراً الاضطراب في كياناتها السياسية من دون أن يُصاب الداخلُ «الإسرائيلي» بأيّ ضرر.
هذا ما نفذه في حرب 1967 عندما احتلّ شبه جزيرة سيناء المصرية وأراضي سورية في الجولان وقسماً من لبنان والأردن مستولياً على الضفة الغربية التي كانت تحت السيادة الأردنية.
وكرّر الأمر نفسه في 1973 بتركيز الحرب في الجولان وسيناء عابراً قناة السويس نحو أراضٍ مصرية جديدة.
أما النتيجة في تاريخه فبدت كارثية، يكفي أنّ مصر السادات انسحبت من الصراع العربي ـ «الإسرائيلي» في اتفاقية كمب ديفيد 1979 فاستعادت سيناء بالمقابل، إنما من دون ثرواتها من الغاز الذي استمرّت «إسرائيل» بنهبها بموافقة مصرية مع شرط آخر وهو حظر دخول الجيش المصري إليها إلا بأعداد صغيرة جداً على أن ترعى الأمن فيها قوات من الشرطة والأمن، فيما بقي الجولان محتلاً لرفض الدولة السورية المساومة عليه، وكذلك لبنان.
ما عزّز من آمال الكيان المحتلّ بتوسيع أدواره «السياسية» هو ذلك المنتحل صفة «ربيع عربي» فاعتقدت «إسرائيل» أنّ تفتيت سورية والعراق بواسطته هو الوسيلة الناجعة لبناء دور إقليمي لها سياسياً واقتصادياً يضع إمكاناتها العسكرية في خدمة أنظمة الثروات النفطية والغازية والاستهلاكية.
لكنها أصيبت بهلع بنيوي لرؤيتها الدول الوطنية في سورية والعراق وهي تستعيد سيادتها بالقوة العسكرية في وجه إرهاب كوني مدعوم من الأميركيين وحلفائهم الدوليين والإقليميين والإسرائيليين بالغارات الدائمة والدعم التسليحي واللوجستي.
كما بُوغتت بقوة حزب الله الذي استطاع تلبية الميدان السوري عسكرياً، فيما لم تَغفُلُ عيناه عن جنوب لبنان ناشراً ثقافته السياسية بالمقاومة على مدى عربي وإسلامي وازن، وكذلك إيران التي تجابه «إسرائيل» بالدعم العسكري لحلفائها في الشرق وفلسطين المحتلة، وتعطي لهذا الصراع أبعاداً ايديولوجية بين فكر محلي مقاوم وآخر استعماري له أذنابه في المنطقة.
لذلك تتعرّض إيران لأعنف حصار معروف منذ نصف قرن تقريباً بسبب عدائها الجذري للكيان الإسرائيلي كما يندرج اليمن في هذا المعطى مؤدّياً دوراً هاماً وضاغطاً في التصدّي لعدوان سعودي عليه يتواصل منذ خمس سنوات.
بدوره العراق لم يبخل بالتصدّي لهذا الربيع المزعوم ضارباً الإرهاب على معظم مساحاته بشكل لم يتبقّ إلا زوايا تحتلها تركيا وتسيطر عليها قواعد أميركية تحمي بؤر الإرهاب قربها.
لم يعجب هذا الوضع الأميركيين والإسرائيليين وحلفاءهم في الخليج، فحاولوا تأمين دور إقليمي لـ «إسرائيل» بالغارات الجوية محدّدين مداه الى حيث تصل مقاتلاتهم الحربية من أعالي اليمن الى قلب بيروت مروراً بإيران والعراق وسورية.
هذا ما أرادته «إسرائيل» من غاراتها الأخيرة على سورية والعراق والضاحية الجنوبية في لبنان. وهو التعويض عن تراجعات المشروع الأميركي الإرهابي في الشرق الأوسط وإعادة تأسيس دور إقليمي جديد أميركي «إسرائيلي» يتولى الكيان المحتلّ فيه الاستهداف الجوي، فيربح في السياسة من دون ان يخسر جنوداً فيما تتولى القوات الأميركية جانب أمن الملاحة من هذا الدور الإقليمي، ومسألة الاتفاق النووي الإيراني لضبط التطور الإيراني لناحية الدور الإقليمي والتحالفات الدولية.
لذلك فإنّ الدور الإقليمي الإسرائيلي توسّل شعار ضرب الصواريخ الدقيقة لإضفاء شرعية على غاراته.
بدورهم اخترع الأميركيون حكاية امن الملاحة في الخليج والخطر النووي الايراني لنثرِ صدقية على إرهاصاتهم الاستعمارية.
من جهتها، تصدّت إيران بإسقاط مسيّرة أميركية حديثة جداً وأسرت ناقلة نفطٍ بريطانية، ويتهمها الأميركيون بتفجير واصابة ناقلات نفط اخرى في مياه الخليج.
ماذا على مستوى الصواريخ الدقيقة؟
سورية المنهمكة بقتال إرهاب كوني تاريخي ودول استعمارية تؤدّي دوراً بطولياً تعطي الأولوية فيه للأكثر خطورة على مراحل تدريجية في تحركاتها السياسية.
فالتزم حزب الله التصدّي المباشر للدور الإقليمي الجديد للكيان الإسرائيلي، خصوصاً بعد محاولة قصف أهداف له في الضاحية الجنوبية، ومخازن للحشد الشعبي ومواقع في سورية.
هذا ما يؤكد أنّ قصف حزب الله لمدرّعة إسرائيلية في مستوطنة «أفيفيم» هو عمل عسكري بأبعاد سياسية واستراتيجية ضخمة.
بداية، لا شك في أنه استهداف للجيش الإسرائيلي يجعله مكشوفاً بشكل مباشر في كامل مناطقه المتاخمة للبنان، وهذا ليس جديداً لأنّ التجاور الجغرافي موجود منذ 1948 وخرقه حزب الله في الـ 2006 بصاروخ على تل أبيب في ردّ على قصف الضاحية في تلك المرحلة.
ما هو جديده إذاً؟
إنه ينقل الصراع العربي ـ «الإسرائيلي» الى داخل فلسطين المحتلة متسبّباً بواحد من أمرين: الأول بفتح «إسرائيل» حرباً شاملة على حزب الله وسورية لتستعيد قواعد الاشتباك التاريخية القديمة ايّ القتال في الأراضي فقط، وهذا ما لم يعد ممكناً للجهوزية السورية الكبيرة واحترافية حزب الله في القتال الذي يجمع بين الأسلوبين الشعبي والكلاسيكي، اما الأمر الثاني فهو سقوط محاولات بناء دور إقليمي جديد لـ «إسرائيل» وعودتها الى حدود فلسطين المحتلة وهو خيار له مخاطره على استمرارية «إسرائيل» في احتلال فلسطين المحتلة، بما يؤكد انّ قذائف حزب الله على «أفيفيم» لها أبعاد استراتيجية ضخمة قد ترسم ملامح الصراعات المقبلة مع الكيان المحتلّ، بما يؤكد انّ حزب الله ذاهب نحو أداء أدوار إقليمية اساسية في منطقة مضطربة يخترع الأميركيون شعارات للاستمرار في احتلالها بالتعاون مع الكثير من دولها التي لم تعُد تمثل شعوبها بقدر ما تحتمي بالغرب لحماية عروشها وتيجانها من غضب الشعوب.. وهذا لن يتأخر.
– حجم التهالك الذي يعيشه الحلف الذي تقوده واشنطن، ويشكل كيان الاحتلال عموده الفقري ورأس حربته، وعنوان قوته، وقدرة ردعه، بلغ حداً صارت الحروب عند كلمنجية العرب في السياسة والإعلام، حروب كلام، ولعبة خداع بصري، وذكاء اصطناعي. ففي مرحلة سبقت الحشود الأميركية في الخليج، كان كل الحشد الكتابي والكلامي والخطابي يجري تحت عنوان، الويل والثبور وعظائم الأمور، وها هي إيران تواجه ساعة الحقيقة والعقاب آتٍ، والحشود العسكرية تأتي للحرب أو للتلويح بالحرب، وهذا هو الردع. ولكن إيران لم تمتثل ولم تفت في عضدها لا الحشود الحربية ولا التهديدات، ووقعت أول مواجهة وأسقطت إيران أهم الطائرات الأميركية في العالم، وصمتت واشنطن وهربت من المواجهة، وبدأت تتحدّث عن استفزاز إيراني لجرها إلى حرب لا تريدها، دون أن تفسر إذن لماذا جاءت بالحشود. ثم تفتقت عبقرية الكلمنجية عن تسخيف إسقاط الطائرة، والبعض قال إنها خدعة أميركية لكشف الدفاعات الإيرانية، ومعلمهم دونالد ترامب قال إنه خشي من الرد على الضربة لأنها ستزهق أرواح مدنيين.
– في تداعيات ما فعله جيش الاحتلال عبر العدوان المزدوج في سورية ولبنان، وأسفر عن شهيدين للمقاومة، وخرق عدواني للأجواء اللبنانية، وإعلان المقاومة عزمها على الرد، عادت حشود الكلمنجية لصف الحكي، واجترار الكلام ذاته، لبنان معرض للدمار بسبب مغامرات حزب الله، أو حزب الله لن يجرؤ على الرد لأن إيران في حال مفاوضات، أو خطر الحرب وشيك وخطير وكبير، أو أن حزب الله كما محور المقاومة يكثرون الكلام عن حق الرد، ولكنهم يحتفظون به في ثلاجة مبردة طويلة الأمد، لكن ماذا حدث عندما وقع رد المقاومة بما فيه من جديد نوعي يتمثل باستهداف موقع للاحتلال في فلسطين المحتلة عام 48، وتهرب جيش الاحتلال من الرد، مكتفياً بقذائف القشرة كتقليد عسكري لكل الجيوش بعد كل تعرض للاستهداف لا يعتبر رداً، الذي حدث أن كيان الاحتلال انكفأ تحو حرب الكلام، ومن ورائه هبت حشود الكلام، تارة تسخف العملية، وتنسى أنه لو أطلقت طلقة عبر الحدود، وخصوصاً نحو فلسطين المحتلة عام 48 قبل سنوات أو من غير حدود لبنان لخاض كيان الاحتلال حرباً. وكما أغرقوا الناس بطوفان من الشائعات والفبركات بالتشكيك بكون الطائرتين للكيان وجيشه، صارت القضية عدم وقوع قتلى أو إصابات في جيش الاحتلال كما في الطائرة الأميركية في هرمز، لكن الحقيقة بقيت، أن الضربة التي تلقاها الأميركي والإسرائيلي قد أصابته في صميم قوة ردعه، لكنها رغم الألم أقل مخاطرة من الحرب، فيبحث عن ذريعة للهروب، الحقيقة التي باتت قانون حرب، هي أن واشنطن ومثلها تل أبيب تريدان الحرب على محور المقاومة ولكنهما تخشيانها، وأن محور المقاومة لا يريد هذه الحرب لكنه لا يخشاها.
– ببساطة الردع مهابة، وإعلان جهوزية لدخول الحرب عند مجرد تخطي الآخر الخطوط الحمراء، والهزيمة اختراع الذرائع والمبررات للتهرب من خوض حرب جرى التهديد بخوضها رغم دوس الآخر على الخطوط الحمراء، وثمة مهابة تتمرغ بالوحل ومهابة تعانق عنان السماء.
“Israeli” comments on the “Israeli” army’s failure continue, as it received a blow yesterday [Sunday, Sept 1, 2019] by the Islamic Resistance in Salha, the “Israeli” occupied Lebanese southern village. Giora Zlatz, the head of the so-called “Upper Galilee Regional Council”, criticized his government, claiming that it had not implemented the multi-year plan to “fortify the North”. A plan which was supposed to be implemented on January.
In an interview with the “Israeli” entity’s “Army Radio” on Monday morning, Zlatz admitted that “there was a great failure”, adding that “there are 8,000 residential houses in my regional council, and 3000 of which have no fortified rooms”.
Zeltz justified his decision not to open bomb shelters on Sunday, saying that “when talking about a frontline area, there is no time to reach the shelters. Running to the shelters can cost lives”.
Also on Monday, “Israeli” Knesset member Gilad Erdan touched the security situation in the north, telling the “Israeli” Army Radio, “If we want to go after a large scale military confrontation, this will happen at a suitable time for us security- and military-wise. The ‘Israeli’ army is prepared for every possible scenario”.
Hours of horror
The “Israeli” entity’s Channel 12 website reported, “After hours of tension and dismay in the northern settlements yesterday [Sunday], this night passed quietly and daily routine continued on Monday morning”.
The website pointed out that officials in the security establishment hope that the current round of confrontation has ended, but nonetheless, they still maintain high readiness. “Israeli” Army spokesman said that the army continues to maintain a high level of readiness – on the “defensive” and the offensive – to confront various scenarios.
However, all restrictions imposed on “Israeli” “civilian” residents have been lifted, with the exception of working in fields adjacent to the border fence, the “Israeli” website said.
Several powers and parties in Lebanon and the region hailed Hezbollah’s ‘heroic’ operation near the border with the occupied Palestinian territories in retaliation for the Israeli aggression on Lebanon and Syria last week.
Palestinian resistance factions described as ‘qualitative’ the operation in which Hezbollah’s Hasan Zbeeb and Yasser Daher’s unit has targeted an Israeli military vehicle on the road at the Avivim Israel base.
Palestinian Factions
“Hezbollah’s qualitative retaliation confirms that the choice of resistance is the most powerful one that can deter the enemy,” Al-Quds Brigades, Islamic Jihad’s military wing said in a statement.
Separately, Islamic Jihad issues another statement, congratulating the leadership and fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon
“This retaliation proves the resistance’s power, deterrence and loyalty,” the Palestinian resistance movement said.
“Victory of resistance path is closer today in light of deterrence achieved against the Israeli enemy, thanks to steadfastness and courage of resistance fighters,” the statement added.
For its part, Hamas resistance movement stressed that Hezbollah through the operation was defending its people.
“Lebanese resistance exerts its right of defending its people against the Israeli occupation,” Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem said, as quoted by Palestinian media.
O the other hand, Fatah congratulated the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon on the operation, describing it as a ‘heroic’ act.
Iran’s Shmakhani
The secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani praised Hezbollah for Avivim operation, saying it “attested to the resistance front’s determination to combat threats and destabilizing forces.”
In a statement released on Sunday evening, Shamkhani hailed the operation at the beginning of the days of mourning for Imam Hussein (AS) as the embodiment of the highly-revered imam’s motto “far from us is disgrace,” according to Iranian media.
Ansarullah
Yemen’s Ansarullah revolutionary movement hailed Hezbollah’s retaliation as “heroic act that proves by military means Lebanon’s right to confront Israeli hegemony.”
“The retaliation confirms the resistance credibility, noting that such credibility has been built through years of honored acts,” Ansarullah’s spokesman Mohammad Abdulsalam was quoted as saying by Al-Massirah.
In Lebanon, meanwhile, Leader of Marada Sleiman Frangieh praised Hezbollah over the operation.
“The resistance retaliation in the Israeli depth shows our strength and confirms our right to defend our land and people,” Frangieh said on Sunday.
